Koryo then paused for a second. "This meeting is over," he announced, "we will discuss this farther in the next meeting." Cloudfeather watched as the other fighters squeezed their way through the exit to the burrow. She came out last. What about the Dark Purity cats coming so close to Morning Creek borders? That fox, which seemed like the healer for Dark Purity said that they were just collecting herbs. That could be. Cloudfeather sat in her den, pondering about Dark Purity.

-Age: 25 moons
-Description: Small and swift, Storm's coat is midnight black. She's very skinny due to lack of food. Her coat is very lightweight and coarse, and it darkens at her paws. Her tail is large and bushy with a dot of white at the end. Her face is long and narrow, and her eyes are cold ice blue. The tip of her ear was bit off, and she has an almost unnoticeable limp in her right left leg. However, she cannot run as fast as other foxes, but she isn't disabled by her leg.
-Rank: Rogue (?)
-Personality: Storm is a cold and mysterious fox who is seen lurking around the territories, searching for food. She's quiet and wise, but somewhat skittish. She's not one for talking and can be seen as rude and antisocial, but she just isn't good at conversing with others. However, when she does befriend a fox she is seen as dark and sarcastic.
-Clan: Rogue (?)

Will had finished picking all the herbs he could find, which amounted to a considerable pile when combined with Mist's. Giving the large patch of herbs across the border one last wistful glance, he grabbed as much herbs as he could and instructed Mist to finish up and bring the rest back. He hoped this would be enough- who knew what kind of injuries could be sustained battling dogs. Hopefully not much, if the fighters did follow Genko's orders and held back. Will doubted they would do that. Going through camp miraculously unseen, Will slinked into his den, eager to put his herbs away. Perhaps after he was done he would return to help Mist look for more or bring back what they had left.

Cloudfeather then heard people cheering about prey or the such. She peeked out of her burrow and saw Crimson bringing a moose back. All the pups and juveniles were tearing at the flesh of a moose's leg. "Well, I am hungry," Cloudfeather said. She climbed out of her burrow and took the share with her joyful clan members. Cloudfeather then heard Koryo speak.
"We should all thank the hunters for this meal have," he said, "we have had not such a good meal in moons."
'Due to Dark Purity," Cloudfeather snorted.

Velvet sighed. She hated the way Gonko was trying to be the leader of all. She tore a small bit of flesh off the moose to give her energy for the next hunt. She nodded at all the other foxes in greeting, waiting for them to finish their meal before going on a hunt.


Velvet smiled as she brought back another two rabbits. "Lets save these. You know what Dark Purity think of us. I won't be surprised if they start hunting on our territory and starving us any time soon."

Cloudfeather blinked. "Is it that day already? The 50th moon?" she asked Koryo.
Koryo nodded. "The next moon we will be meeting is the 100th moon."
Cloudfeather nodded and finished up her moose leg, then climbed back into her burrow, getting ready for the meeting.

"Will!" Genko's voice startled Will out of his thoughts.
"Yes, Genko?" He inquired.
Genko glanced at him like he was sprouting antlers out of his ears. "Tell me," he said slowly. "That you did not forget what night it is tonight."
Realization dawned on Will as suddenly he was alert. "The gathering! I must-"
"You must come!" Genko said heartily. "We're running late- you've never been needed to be reminded before."
Will's leader disappeared as he excited their home, and Will followed close behind, leaping from ledge to ledge behind the others in his Clan. On this night they were to meet in a space in the middle of all Clans' territories, so all they needed to do was travel along the border and they would be fine. Will only hoped they wouldn't run into any other Clans until they were there.

Koryo then chose the foxes that would come. "I will bring with me Velvet, Crimson, Ria, Cloudfeather and some of the fighters."
Cloudfeather nodded and then scampered off to Koryo. Koryo led them by the border. He ordered everyone to sit and wait. Cloudfeather looked around. She saw Twilight River, but no Dark Purity yet.
'Hopefully Dark Purity has nothing bad planned for this meeting.' Cloudfeather thought.

Velvet nodded at her leader. "Sir, what if...What if the Dark Purity break the code and kill us at the Gathering tonight?" She sighed. She wasnt the absolute bravest, but she had good answers and loyalty.

Koryo shook his head. "I am pretty sure Genko has no attempt to unleash his plan this soon," he said confidently, "If he even dared attempt, our ancestors can do nothing but watch. All we can count is hope and luck that he will not attack."
Cloudfeather nodded her head. The ancestors of the foxes had powers before the foxes became clans. They had controlled the weather, the land, the prey that was given, and the happiness. But, when Genko had created such a horrible plan, the power of Genko had stopped the ancestor's power. Now the weather was controlled by random.

Cloudfeather shuffled uncomfortably and her gaze settled on Velvet. "Hopefully they won't attack," she said, "after all, they're flea-brains with just blood and murder on their minds. They'd seriously would like a battle, but possibly not at a meeting." Cloudfeather then started to wait patiently again, all but praying for Dark Purity not to attack. 'Especially one Dark Purity fox... Mist,' Cloudfeather clenched her teeth.

Mist Picked up the rest of the rest of the herbs and set them in Will's den. "Will I be going to the gathering?" She asked Genko anxiously. She badly wanted to go to the gathering to possibly sneak in a couple of threats to cloudfeather. Oh how she hated that fox.

Crimson smiled and Ran after Koryo. This was her first gathering in moons. She fell in beside cloudfeather. "I hope Dark Purity doesn't launch into action tonight." She said. She quickly changed the topic as the discussion about Genko was making ehr nervous. "That moose the best meal i've had in years, of course though, the other hunters were vital to bring it down." She said her stomach growling even though she was full.

Genko nodded at Mist. "You will be going, along with Will and some other fighters. We will be going now at once," Genko said with a dark voice. "We will not be attacking this moon due to this meeting being the second meeting of all time in Swiftwind but, maybe the third meeting," he bared his teeth and then led his clan to to meeting.

Cloudfeather nodded. "I was quite surprised to see a moose," she began, "the first moose we ever had was even before the foxes became clans. Then we had only one moose after that before we were born, and we could see no more. But, then you brought this moose." Cloudfeather smiled at Crimson, "I really wanted to thank you but I forgot, and of course the other hunters."

Mist smiled and padded after Genko. She saw Cloudfeather sitting on her border. Without even realizing it, she bared her teeth and growled.

"Thanks. Yes All I really did was track it down, then I was a backup for anyfox who was tired. I agree, I've had moose before, but that was enough to feed a fox for years! Even after all of the clan had their share, there's still some left for the vultures." She said. "That fox is creeping me out." She said indicating th growling Mist.

Cloudfeather looked away, ingnoring Mist and continued listening to Crimson. "Oh, don't mind her," she said casually, "Mist is just a flea-bag, she can't do any trouble to you."
'Except in battle," Cloudfeather thought.

Genko then ordered his clan to sit down while they waited for Twilight River. He stared at Koryo, evil-eyed and with a sour look. He then looked at his clan.

Zedyn then led his clan on their side of the border, with his fighters in front and the rest in the back.
"I apologize for being late," he said, "we have been having issues in our clan."
'Probably about Genko," Cloudfeather thought.

Mist stopped growling as soon as she realized she ws doing it, as the arrival of twilight river snapped her back to reality. She sat down and curled her taila round her paws.

Crimson shrugged. "Ok then, I guess twilight river is here. I wonder when the meeting is going to start." She said imaptiently.

"Yes." Velvet agreed. "Thanks Crimson. Wanna come help me stock up on the prey while its summer? Oh, and Cloudfeather, what herbs do we need? Horsetail? Thyme? Catmint?"

As she padded along to the Gathering Place, she saw a patch of flowers. Summer was quick this year. Winter will be long and hard.

'Time stood still' she thought, freezing the image. She imagined the snow and shuddered. 'Can we survive with this suspense from Dark Purity and the harshness of winter?'

"The meeting has begun, no one will be allowed to fight," Koryo yelled, "I will start."

"Our clan is doing well, no problems," Koryo said.
'Oh really? What about Genko's plan meeting?" Cloudfeather retorted in her mind.
"We caught a moose today," Koryo continued.
Murmurs rose in the crowd.

"I'll be glad to tomorrow. I'm am so tired from the excitement of today. After a good ngiht's sleep, i'll be ready." SAid Crimson smiling. When she had nothing to say, random thoughts tormented her. 'I look so much like mum.... mum, dad, wolves.... Genko....' She swayed. She had never thought about before. Her mum who she hated with all of her heart had driven off her dad. She ran off with him. Then he was attacked by wolves, and she remembered sitting in the brush, seeing Genko glaring down upon him with an evil smile as the wolves killed him. She collasped to the ground panting.

Mist scoffed at the wolf who collasped from the morning creek clan. 'Pathetic.' She thought. She began to draw Genko's plan in the dirt with her claw, as she was bored.

Velvet silently mixed her scent with the Dark Purity clan members. Her fur blended into the crimson Sunset. She wriggled by the clan and snook a few glances at the plan. An idea suddenly struck her head. She nodded in greeting to Mist. "Hi, Im Velvet. Im not known much in any other clans. I believe you're Mist, right?"

Crimson continued to hyperventilate. Her eyes clouded. 'What's happening to me?' She thought. 'Am I dying?' She thought. She was about to pass out, and she didn't know if she'd ever wake up again.

Genko looked genuinely surprised at the kick, then turned to Will, who had followed his leader a few paces behind. "Is this..?"
"Fatal?" Will suggested. "No, it isn't."
"I was going to say, disrespectful," Genko said, deathly calm. "But thank you for your concern. Honestly- I haven't even done anything wrong yet!" The leader actually did look a tad flustered.
"Maybe we should go back to the gathering.." Will said quietly.
Genko collected himself. "Yes. We should." And turned away from his healer, muscles rippling in the moonlight.
Sighing, Will padded behind him, stopping in a patch of shadow where he lay down, his head in his paws. The only sign of him there was his bright blue eyes, floating in the darkness, as he watched the other foxes with wary eyes. Everyone seemed to hate Will for his Clan, and he had no yearning for being ridiculed.

"I was just kicked!" Genko snarled at Mist. "Of course I would've been there if I hadn't been harassed." Quickly, Genko recomposed himself. "Well, plenty of time for revenge later," he said lightly. "I'll head off to the gathering now. And Will, your eyes always give you away when you're hiding."

Will just snarled. He was in a terrible mood already.
