I'm not really sure what to do with Atticus, atm, so I'll just work with Ria as of now~

Oh and I figured Ria has no babies to look after as of right now, hope that's okay~
--

Ria slowly opened her dark brown eyes to the sound of foxes talking near her den. She slowly got to her feet, shifting her weight to her back paws to stretch out her arched back and yawned in the process. After stretching out all of her aching muscles, she walked out to the entrance of the den and peered outside.

She could see a few of the fighters and other members of the pack talking amongst each other, but she couldn't understand any of it since their tone was very hushed. In the distance she could see Cloudfeather walking out towards the deep part of the woods with her head held low to the ground.

"Did something happen?" She thought to herself, pulling the rest of her body out of the dug-out den under the thick roots of the old dogwood tree. She ran out towards Cloudfeather, calling out after her, "Hey! Hold up!"

She slowed down her pace once she caught up to the she-fox.

"Would you like some help?" She asked, realizing that Cloudfeather was probably collecting herbs like she usually did in the morning.

The fox gathered her bearings and trotted further into the woods. She noticed that the further in she went, the stronger the fox scent grew. Her fur pricked with uneasiness. Suddenly the sparse underbrush grew even more scarce, and she was assaulted by voices. A moment later she realized there were only one or two, but there must've been more foxes there because this was where the scent was strongest. She couldn't see many, but the ones she could see she perceived as battle-loving foxes. Some wore smirks or had downcast eyes, giving a shady impression. One looked as if he was quite positively stark-raving mad, but another gave off a sort of gentle air, quite noticeable among his comrades. He had a sort of leafy scent about him.
Well, if she was going to ask somebody how to get out of this place, they might as well be kind.
As quietly and invisibly as she could, she slunk across the clearing towards the other fox.
"Excuse me, sir, but could you tell me where I am?"

Will jumped, surprised, but clearly this fox didn't want to be noticed. This fox, in fact, had a very strange appearance, what with her mask and necklace. Who was she? How come she didn't know where she was? Will shrugged it off.
"You're in Swiftwind," he said quietly, as to not alert Genko. "Dark Purity territory." He raised his head, eyes narrowed. "I suggest that you run-"
"Will! I see you're very fond of bringing strange foxes into our territory." Genko said it lightly, but Will could not ignore the dangerous undertone.
"Who, pray tell, would this be?"

"Good question, who am I? You wouldn't know, because I'm not from around here," the she-fox replied. "How about asking me instead of him?"

Genko tensed, and Will was dramatically shaking his head from behind his leader.
"Alright then, foreigner." Genko said slowly. "Who are you?"

"I have no name. I am from somewhere down the mountains; I don't remember where, nor do I care to. They were hunting me." She paused, remembering the feeling of their dog-fang studded claws tearing through her flank. She shuddered, then continued. "And that's all that I know about myself other than that I'm not going back," she concluded.

Genko nodded. "They were hunting you for a reason, yes?" He asked. "Care to elaborate?" From behind Genko, Will was mouthing run and shaking his head violently. No one deserved to be stuck with Genko if they didn't have to. Will sighed with defeat.

The she-fox suppressed a laugh at the other's defeated sigh.
"They were hunting me because I knew too much about them! I lurk in the shadows, and I hear a lot. But they don't know much about me, no. They have so many rumours about me, are so clueless, that they call me Rumour! So I ran. Oh, I ran. But they won't catch me." She shook with silent laughter at their dumbfounded expressions when she had turned around and ripped the flesh off of half of one leader's face.

"Well, Rumour," Genko said. "Why are you in our territory? I doubt you're looking for another Clan then." Will stalked off. He didn't want to be there anymore- besides, the she-fox- Rumour, wasn't listening to him anyways. She should've been running for the hills by now. But she wasn't.

"I'm in your territory because I didn't know it was your territory," she responded smoothly as she watched the other fox stalk off. "I assume you wouldn't have a problem with my leaving?"

Genko shrugged. "You'd be welcome in Dark Purity," he said. "But feel free to leave. There are other things I must attend to." Genko walked off, leaving the strange fox to herself. He had dogs to contact.

Cloudfeather nodded. "We need all the help and herbs we can get." She then continued to pick herbs from a patch of flowers. She wondered, what was Genko thinking?

Ria nodded, leaning down to help pick the flowers below them. She noticed Cloudfeather in an odd daze and recalled her not being herself since the meeting either.

"You look troubled, dear. Has something happened?" Ria asked, eyeing the she-fox's movement and body language.

Cloudfeather sighed. "I'm just curious and anxious about Genko's plan." She then dropped her herbs gently on the ground and sat straight. "I just can't stop thinking about it."

"I think we all are..." Ria said, looking back up and sitting on the grass in front of Cloudfeather.

"Genko has everyone's tail in a twist! I mean, what's the whole purpose of taking over Swiftwind? To rule over the woods? That's a lot of land for that little fox group he calls a pack to guard." She huffed, "I'm sorry, its just that this whole situation doesn't put me in a content mood, you know? It's all Genko's fault were so wired up like this. I'm probably just repeating what you already know, though..."

The she-fox sighed; she had really hoped for a fight. She wouldn't admit that, of course. But something seemed shady about him, and not just his pelt. She shook out her coat; she would just keep a close watch on him.
She turned and padded silently across the clearing, heading towards the back end. She would find a place to rest first, though, for had she not just trekked down the mountain in two days?
Shortly after she had exited the clearing, she had reached the part which she assumed was the border, for the fox scent became more forced, like a marker, and it also bore the scents of other foxes who smelled different than this so-called "Dark Purity."
She crossed into the territory quietly, and, right off the bat, crashed into a pair of other foxes.
"Whoops, sorry," she barked good-naturedly.

Cloudfeather nodded.
"I think the exact thing as you."
Then, she saw another fox appear. She blinked and sighed, loner.
"What are you doing here?" she asked slowly and awkwardly.

(Sorry I haven't been on. Just got computer back))

Velvet sighed. She knew she had done wrong, and she new Crimson was right. She padded along the moist grass, head down, shoulders slumped. She saw only Cloudfeather among the two 'invisible-to-her' she-wolves.

"I...I'm sorry Cloudfeather. I knew I shouldn't have spoken to Will or give him any herbs. I've got a patch growing a-and I wanted to surprise you but it all went wrong and I regret it so much now. I'm really, really sorry for disappointing you..."

She looked up to see Cloudfeather's expression, when it suddenly hit her that they weren't alone.

---

Flame stared at the newcomer and circled her. "Hmm...You're from Morning Creek. What brings you here, tiny little coward?" She smiled sarcastically. Crimson's muscles could never match hers, along with her height. "I heard you wanted to come here, rather than die, and I'm surprised Genko trusted you so quickly. You know, with all the little spies in your former Clan." She said slyly, walking out. She turned her head at the entrance/exit. "Watch out. Im the best fighter here, now that we've lost another coward by the name of 'Mist', and Im not settling for second best once again." She snarled, sleekly running out the burrow.

Ria's ears perked up to the sound of bushes moving. Her muscles tensed up and she crouched low to the ground, wondering what was about to emerge from the woods and into Morning Creek territory.

In a time that seemed like forever, a she-fox appeared out of the woods and close to them. It was a odd looking fox; pure white and a skull on its head and she could have sworn this fox's eyes were blood red. Her smell appeared to be of a loner's with a mix of Dark Purity. Ria showed her teeth a little in a small snarl, not liking the newcomer.

However, she let Cloudfeather take the lead in questioning this new fox. If something were to happen Ria was ready to alert the others in the pack with a loud, alerting howl.

She didn't even seem to notice Velvet walking up behind them...

"Well, doing a poor job of avoiding other foxes, for starters," she replied with just a hint of a laugh. "Actually, do you mind telling me where I am? I just crossed the mountains, and I'm trying to find a good home away from other foxes."
She tried her best to ignore the snarling fox who was just a couple of paces behind the one who had questioned her; a hard task, considering that the last time she had been snarled at she had had her flank ripped open and ended up mauling the one doing the snarling.

@AngelWolfeh Hey, are you still doing the Warriorsongs roleplay?

Lol, she doesn't have a clue!

Cloudfeather blinked. This fox did seem harmless.
"Well, you're in Swiftwind, a land of foxes," she said, "there's plenty of land in the Outlands, where most rouges and loners stay."
She then looked at Ria, and then noticed Velvet.
"Velvet, what are you doing here?" she asked.

"Where are these 'outlands'?" the she-fox inquired.
Although she was normally a very calm creature, her patience was wearing thin with the snarling fox.
"Could you stop that? The last time I was snarled at I had my flank torn open, and that's not a very pleasant memory because I ended up maiming the one who did it," she said, struggling to keep calm despite the mix of fear and impatience that was coursing through her.

Cloudfeather blinked and then looked at Ria.
"This fox seems harmless," she told Ria, "like she said, maybe you could stop snarling?"
She then looked at the loner again.
"The Outlands are north of here," she said, "you'll notice the Outlands when you see them. Endless fields of untouched meadows, trees almost everywhere, and a small river running through it. It's best if you stay away from the clans these days, we're having a lot of trouble."
Her left ear twitched.

"Okay, thanks," the she-fox said with a grin, although nobody could see it due to the skull. "Let me guess, this trouble has something to do with that crazed-looking fox from that Dark Purity clan that I passed through, doesn't it?"

Ria stopped the snarl when she was told, but she still didn't trust this outsider. There was something about her that was just...off and Ria couldn't quite put her tail on it. Still, she supposed it was quite rude to snarl at the outsider, when it didn't attack them...yet.

"As a matter a fact, it does." She replied to the she-fox's question, her ears going up in the air since they were down against her skull before.

"I figured. It's hard to make me angry, but that one sure did. For once I WANTED to fight, which is weird, because I'm usual the one breaking up the fighting," the she-fox responded. "I suppose I'll have to keep an eye on him."
Her tail shot up in alarm, and her ears flew back in an expression somewhere between anger and fear.
"But I WON'T spy for you!" she exclaimed, her fur pricking in an odd manner.

Cloudfeather snorted.
"We were never even going to ask you to spy," she said, "we're the good side if you noticed, not the bad side."
She then grabbed the herbs that she had dropped and then padded away. She signaled Ria and Velvet to go back to camp. She had enough with the talk about Genko and Dark Purity.
