The fox stepped out of the bushes calmly, no surprise showing on his face."Indeed it has," he replied."I assume you didn't come here for some pleasant sight-seeing," the she-fox stated. "They sent you, didn't they?""Yes." Came the response. No further words were exchanged, but the she-fox shot like a bullet down the hill, racing across the territory of one clan, passing another fox who was eating a vole. Her paws barely skimmed the ground as she ran, with Shadyk just on her paws, keeping pace with even grace. She darted through the trees, crossing the border and tearing through the camp of Dark Purity, reaching a clearing between it and the mountains. The she-fox felt her paws go out from under her as her old friend bowled her over, pinning her down while his dog-tooth studded claws dug into her shoulders. He parted his jaws expressionlessly, ready to kill the only fox who had befriended him.@AshfireThanks!!! I really missed this RP. @EmsOkay, so I joined as a rogue with no name, and Cloudfeather went looking for herbs with Ria's help. My rogue (I'll refer to her as Rumour here) fell down the mountain a bit, and got a crack in the dragon skull that she wears on her head. She ran into Will (Dark Purity's healer) and had a conversation with him and Genko, then she ran into Velvet (the assistant healer of Morning Creek; she was apologizing to Cloudfeather for giving Will herbs7), Cloudfeather, and Ria, and spoke with them. Velvet, Cloudfeather, and Ria returned to their camp while Ria considered tattling on Cloudfeather for not chasing Rumour away. Mist somehow teleported (or something) into a pine tree and woke up from a nap; Crimson woke pinned under a rock on the mountain side. I brought in another character called Shadyk, another rogue, who was friends with Rumour before she left, and Shadyk started following Rumour (though not letting her see, smell, or hear him; she didn't know he was there). Cloudfeather woke up from a nap and caught a vole; Shadyk revealed himself to Rumour and he chased her into Dark Purity's territory (between the mountains and their camp) and is now about to kill her.@AshfireSound about right?@MarinaLilyYou must stay! You can use this summary.

@Whitefire Yuppers!@Marinalily@Ems@Dramatic@NroosangelCloudfeather finished up her vole, when all of a sudden she thought she made out two figures race by. She blinked and let those thoughts slip out of her mind. Cloudfeather focused on Genko and the Dark Purity wolves. The evildoers, so foolish of Genko to want everything a wolf could possibly have in Swiftwind, prey, stretching land, everything! He was the most greedy wolf Cloudfeather ever knew. Dark Purity was okay, somehow. But the way they were evil, it made her stomach lurch with disgust and hate. Cloudfeather yawned, resting her head on her paws and listening to her surroundings. She heard a bird chirp, and something thumping. Cloudfeather got up, looking around for what the thumping was. She bilnked.

The she-fox stared into her old friend's eyes as he stared emotionlessly back, ready to kill her in a moment's notice. She felt him hesitating, as though he didn't want to kill her..."Do it, Shadyk," she said. "They'll find you and kill you if you don't."But the other fox was already backing off, letting her up from her uncomfortable position on the ground."Shadyk, listen to me. If you don't kill me then they'll kill you. I would rather die than watch you die, and they'll kill me anyways, and then we'll both be dead. Is that really what you want?"The other fox just stared at her reproachfully, as though angry at her for speaking his name with a whole camp full of foxes just a few paces away."Do it, Shadyk! I don't want to see you dead!" she growled, her voice rising."I don't want to see you dead either," said the other reasonably. "We can take them together if they try to kill us."The she-fox sighed."Okay, you win."Neither of them noticed the shape in the bushes, skulking silently and waiting for an opening.@AshfireYaaaay, thank you!@EmsI has summary@Kurochi-AkumaI has summary for yew@MarinaLilyI has summary above@Dramatic

Ygryrk chuckled under his breath as he watched his best assassin back away from the Object. This was it; he had them right where he wanted them. As nice as it would have been to have a personal assassin, the best in the land in fact, by his side, he bore too many ties to the target Object. So he was going to destroy them both. He wish he didn't have to--he quite liked the Object, he had actually fancied her to be his mate once--but the Assassin had failed his test of loyalty, and as such must be destroyed along with the Object. He had been anticipating this moment since the Assassin had stopped on the mountainside, unaware of his shadow, debating whether to turn back and say he had been unable to find the Object. He had tracked the pair of foxes since the Assassin had left, waiting to destroy them both, waiting to relish the taste of their blood on his tongue. He had done it all by himself, and now he was going to claim his prizeEventually both other foxes began communicating in that strange silent way of theirs, understandable only to the Assassin and the Object, and Ygryrk decided to seize the opportunity to carry out his plan. The she-fox was happy to be reunited with her best and only friend, but she couldn't shake off a nagging worry from the back of her mind--were they being watched? But she decided to ignore it--until a hairless shape leaped out of the bushes, delivering a quick flick of his claws to her flank, reopening the gash leading from her flank to her chest. Her eyes widened and she stumbled, regaining her balance only with difficulty. She turned quickly to face the source of her injury--and stopped, horror-stricken. It was Ygryk--but a horribly mutilated Ygryk. Large chunks of fur were missing from his face and body, and his tail had been chopped off. His left ear, too, was missing, and one half of his face was unnaturally scarred, looking disgusting and puffy with one eye sealed shut, though it had actually been torn out--by the she-fox's own claws. He was handsome no more; gone were the days when he was surrounded by young vixens wishing to be his mate."Y-Ygryrk?" stammered the she-fox.Ygryrk laughed at the Object's horrified expression."See what you did to me?" His voice was cracked and high-pitched from lack of use, and it rasped in his throat with a groaning akin to metal scraping against metal. "I lost everything because of the wound you gave me.""And now I've come to get my revenge."With that he bowled her over, pinning her to the ground, his face inches away from her own, distorted with a demented grin."And I haven't forgotten you, Assassin--you're next, but first you're going to watch as I kill your friend. The she-fox could not stop staring at the leader of the Swamp colony of the marsh colonies. At last she came to her senses as he tackled her, fear bubbling up inside her as the full realization of what was happening hit her with the force of a ten thousand pound rock falling from heights. She stared defiantly into his eyes, as though she was in no danger, as if this was only another squabble over a dead rat.Suddenly, without warning, she bucked him off and tore a ragged gash in his throat, extending her wolf fang-studded claws so as to pierce his wind-pipe, but succeeding only in breaking the skin. Her balance was off, her consciousness was quickly fading, everything was going blurry--She struck again, this time biting and tearing so deep she felt his bone snap between her teeth. Then she turned to her old friend, mumbled a very indistinct sentence that was supposed to be "He's dead" but came out as more of a gurgle as her vision blurred and a wave of black washed over her, smothering the world around her until she could see no more. The fox stood paralyzed as he watched his employer and is old friend struggle before him, barely hearing the words they were saying as they fought. He watched, frozen in shock, as his oldest and only friend tore the enemy's throat out, turn to him and mutter something he could neither hear nor comprehend, and faint. He stood like that for a few more heartbeats until finally the realization of what had happened hit him and he let out a wordless, piercing wail, which changed to a howl as sonorous as a wolf's, then changed back to the same keening cry of fury, grief, and fear. The life of his sister, his friend, his reason for existence was bleeding out before him, and he could have stopped it, but he didn't. He was too much of a coward to save his only friend.Tears streaked down his face as he trembled, groaned, and collapsed. He let out another otherworldly wail as he buried his face in the fur of his best friend. Her life was bleeding out before him and it was his fault, his fault. He looked up and shrieked his anguish to the world one more time, unaware that his cries were reverberating through clan territory, not caring about anything but the swiftly fading life of his beloved friend. He was deaf and blind to the world.@EmsThank you! I've really missed RPing with you.@Ashfire@MarinaLilyI really need Will right about now~@Dramatic@Angelwolfeh

@whitefire I've missed you too man. ;3@ashfire@i-dunno-im-sorry--Storm heard howls of loss. Her eyes widened, and instincts told her to run. So that is exactly what she did. She ran towards the reverberating cries until the metallic stank of blood hit her like a wall."Hello?!" She shouted, "Is someone out here?!" She had long since left her terriotory and entered the lesser-known parts of Swiftland, but something tethered her in place. There was obviously a fox out here dead or dying.
whitefire • 30 September 2013 at 9:50 PM
The fox stirred slightly as he heard a voice calling, feeling that the fur of his face was matted with blood and tears; he had placed his head on his friend's wounded side. He wanted to go back to his mourning, but he also knew his friend was still alive: he had to get help soon, or she would die.So he raised his head and uttered a single phrase:"Help her..."Then he bent to return to his sobbing, knowing full well he was outside of the Dark Purity clan's camp and that the other fox did not belong here, but it did not nullify the fact that his friend needed help. He turned back to her then stopped in surprise--her eyes were open! But upon closer inspection they were misted over, the eyes of one close to death."Sha-dyk..." she groaned in a feeble, broken, raspy voice."Sha-dyk, it'll be alright... Y-gr-yr-k's dead now... He can't hurt a-ny-one...""You're alive! Stay with me, please, I don't want to be alone... Don't die..." The fox's voice was scared-sounding.But the she-fox disregarded this."Sha-dyk... Don't leave me, just stay here un-til I'm gone...""What're you saying?! You'll be alright... You'll see...""Sha-dyk..."Then her eyes closed again.@EmsSorry for the late reply; I've gotta go to bed, too.@Ashfire@Dramatic@AngelWolfeh@MarinaLily

@whitefire it's all good. ^^--Storm heard muffled words and followed the scent. What she found surprised her. Three foxes. Two were seemingly dead, and the third was alive, sobbing into the female fox. "Hey! Get up, is she alive?" Storm barked, bounding over. The female was mortally wounded, and Storm was no healer.

Cloudfeather's ears twitched as she heard distant howls. She lifted her head and looked to where the sound's source direction was coming from. Did this have to do with the two foxes that had passed her earlier into that direction? She padded and then soon noticed a female fox lying on the ground, another dead fox, and a male fox. Her mind instantly froze when she noticed the dead fox female. It was the fox loner she had seen a few moons ago! Cloudfeather gasped and ran over to Storm. She didn't care if this was a Twilight River fox, Cloudfeather was a healer, and she couldn't let a fox die!"What happened here?" Cloudfeather demanded. @Ems@Whitefire@Dramatic@Nroosangel@Kurochi-Akuma
ems • 1 October 2013 at 1:27 AM
@ashfire @whitefire--"I honestly have no idea!" Storm yipped, backing away slightly. "I-I just heard some howls and I followed it and... And I found them..." Her voice dropped to a harsh whisper, the weight if the situation finally making it's crash in Storm's mind. She tried to hold back tears for the female's obviously painful death. "I want to help but I'm no healer, just a stupid fighter." She stamped her paw, growing agitated by the feeling of helplessness. The female looked bad. Very bad. The pain she must've been in... "And even if I was a healer, where would I find herbs?" She muttered, probably to herself.
whitefire • 1 October 2013 at 8:30 AM
"Ygryrk..." growled the fox, unmatched fury welling up inside him."Ygryrk... killed her..." His voice was uneven as his anguish turned to frightening rage as he leaped forward at the body of his employer, unsheathing his claws which were, like the she-fox's, studded with wolf-fangs and deadly sharp. He smacked Ygryrk's body hard with his paw, sending it flying into a tree with the force of the blow. A bone snapped in the already dead fox's back. The fox's eyes glittered with savage satisfaction as he turned back to the body of his friend, his only friend, without a clue that she was still alive, though only a whisker's length away from death. He sobbed quietly into her fur, remembering the times the two had spent together...Then he could cry no more. It was as though he had run out of tears. So quietly he stood up, turned to the two other foxes, and tried to explain what had happened."He sent me to kill her... I followed her... I chased her here, couldn't do it... he came out of the bushes... attacked... she killed... killed him but he... he got her first..."His voice didn't sound right to him. He had never heard himself cry before; it was strange. But he needed them to understand, needed his friend to get help..."Ygryrk did it... he was a tyrant... she knew too much about his colony, so he wanted her dead... but he loved her, why would he do it?!"Was his mission to control the other colonies more important than his love? The fox was so confused. Everything had happened so quickly...He hung his head in grief, hoping that the other foxes could help his dearest friend.@Ems@AshfireWhoops, I almost called you Ashfry! XD@AngelWolfeh@MarinaLily@Dramatic
ems • 1 October 2013 at 9:25 AM
@whitefire @ashfire--Storm flinched at the fox's sudden rage, which quickly faded back into the original grief. She closed her eyes as the dead body smacked against something, and she heard a bone crack. "I'm sorry." Was all she could manage at this point.
whitefire • 1 October 2013 at 9:02 PM
The fox closed his eyes."Why are you apologizing...? You didn't have anything to do with it... You didn't do anything... but I didn't either, I watched it happen! I could have saved her... But I just stood there and watched them fight..."It was true, it was his fault... if he had been vigilant like he was supposed to be he would have seen Ygryrk and been able to stop him before he attacked...'It's not your fault,' said a voice in his head. But he didn't want to listen. The she-fox stirred a bit, as though having a dream. The fox turned his head swiftly, watching her for any more signs of life, but she didn't move again, aside from the shallow heaving of her sides as she breathed in and out.The she-fox opened her eyes to see others grinning down at her. A white fox, like her, but with deep brown eyes rather than the piercing red of her own, female. A gray fox, very pale, with blue eyes, male. A very dark brown, almost black, fox with piercing blue eyes like Shadyk's, male. A dark gray fox with blue-black eyes, female. And two litters of fox kits tumbling playfully around their parents' paws. Each litter seemed to be missing one member...The adult female who resembled the she-fox began to speak, but just as the first syllable came out, a warm "Wel--", the she-fox opened her eyes to see blurry shapes standing around her.Quickly she found the shape she sought, that of her friend.@EmsSorry for the late reply; I just got home!@Ashfire@Dramatic@AngelWolfeh@MarinaLily

@whitefire Bro it's all good. XD Late is like, weeks late. 😋 I have school too. ^-^@ashfire--"Because I'm useless here." Storm muttered. "And frankly, I probably would've been as scared as you were right then..." She watched the she-fox stir, and looked over at the other fox. "Well? Can't you do anything?"
Deleted • 1 October 2013 at 9:23 PM
"Well, I am a healer," Cloudfeather said to Storm. Cloudfeather sighed, she walked over to the dead female's body and inspected it. The cut was deep, almost reaching bone, and she knew that the fox was close to dying.. "She is still breathing short breaths, but the slash is quite deep, I'm afraid there is nothing we can do... but try our best to stop the bleeding," Cloudfeather told the others as she shook. She had never watched a fox die so tragically like this one. Cloudfeather then noticed some cobwebs on trees nearby and quickly snatched them and put them on the bleeding cuts on the female. She then grabbed some Goldenrod and rubbed it on the bleeding cuts. "That's all we can do right now," Cloudfeather said, "we'll see if she will wake... or not."@Whitefire@Ems@Dramatic@Angelwolfeh@Kurochi-Akuma
