Velvet nodded back at him, then decided to nap by the border. She saw Will eating a rabbit by the border too. She nodded at him, then walked further away into a spot in the sun.


"Sure!" Said Velvet as she saw Crimson.

Crimson looked at Velvet, a bit annoyed at being ignored. "Velvet? Are you still up for the hunting trip?" She said with a bit of a tone.

Cloudfeather looked around. Nothing was new, just the same old chatting among the foxes. She lay down, thinking about what to do next. She yawned.

Will finished his rabbit, and searched the area for herbs. Him and Mist had cleared out much of the herbs when they had come, but Will picked a few unlucky sprouts anyways. Heading back to camp, he entered his den, and was pleased to see the abundance of herbs that were there waiting for him. He would be ready for anything at this rate.

Crimson smiled. "Ok then. Wanna go down by the creek to try and catch some fish first?" She asked, wanting fresh meat.

Mist frowned. 'I can't wait until midnight, I'm getting out of here now.' She thought. She stood up, shook the dew off of her pelt, and ran down the ragged slopes of the mountains.

Storm pulled herself out of the den at last, feeling reluctant to do so. Her fluffy tail twitched behind her. Storm sighed, deciding to do some hunting; although it wasn't her job. She'd just catch a mouse for breakfast, and maybe play around in the forests for awhile. She did love the forest.

Mist soon reacehd the soft wet earth of the morning creek clan. She continued ot run along the border, She then slipped into the forest, headed towards the twilight river clan.

(Yup, my post was a bit late xD)

"Okay." She smiled, waiting by the river for a trout to come along. She saw a slim black shape in the water and hooked it out with her claws. It was a tuna, but it was fine. She striked it with her paws until it went limp, then she flung it into the grass, waiting for another one to pass by.

-Description: Fire-orange with white underbelly and tail-tip, black paws and long claws.

-Personality: Violent and loves watching the other Clan's' foxes die. She is loyal to Dark Purity and is quite stubborn too. She is only kind to Clanmates.

-Others: Foxes FTW -- She's powerful and is Velvet's older sister who turned on her old Clan.

Storm smelled something off as she began her hunt. Was it... No! An invasion from Dark Purity! Her fighter instincts took over her mind, and the black fox crept around in the bushes, seeing the lone invader crossing the borderline. "Intruder!" She snarled, tackling the other creature to the ground.

"Give me a reason not to rip out your throat."

Crimson stared intently at the water. She began to think abotu her life. 'I would rather be on Genko's side then die. I'll run away to Dark Purity tonight.' She decided. She quickly snapped up a jackfish and killed it.

Mist was startled. "Please don't hurt me, I am from dark purity, but chose to run away and join another clan. I have a rival in morning creek so I chose to come here. I come in peace." Her voice was innocent and sincere.

Will busied himself that day by giving all the foxes routine checkups, making big deals about little wounds and scolding others for their carelessness. But there was one fox that was missing. Mist. Curious, Will left the camp, following her scent towards the Twilight River border. "Mist!" Will called. "What are you doing?" There was no accusation in his voice though, just curiosity.

"Is there a problem Crimson?" she asked, "you seem deeply troubled by something." She looked around. "Is it something to do with Genko?" Cloudfeather sat down beside Crimson. "That's a nice fish you caught there."

Mist nodded. "Thank you. I heard my name being called, Can I go for just a second?" She asked. 'Will!' She thought. 'He probably is wondering what I'm doing.'

Crimson looked at Cloudfeather. "Yes, Can I talk with you?" She asked. 'Please understand my decision...' She thought. Well, if Cloudfeather and Velvet were her true friends, they would understand and wish her luck. She would never kill her friends. On the day before the attack, she would warn them, tell them to run off and not tell anyone why. Yes, That would work.

Will caught sight of the fox before she saw him, and bounded up to Mist. She was standing by the border, and Will felt a pang as he figured out what she could possibly be doing. Running away. Alas, she could also be thinking, or taking a walk; there were so many other possibilities. "What are you doing, Mist?" He asked quietly. "Are you going somewhere?"

"Will, Please understand. I can't stand my life. I needed to get away, forever. I"m joining twilight river. Don't tell anyone please." Whispered Mist. She was sorry that she was leaving, but she didn't want to go back.

Crimson frowned. "I-I would rather be on Genko's side then die. I-I promise, the day before we attack, I warn you and Velvet, and you can take off and not tell anyone. Please understand." She said desperately.

Cloudfeather blinked. "Genko will not win in a war," she began sharply, "Genko will not kill you as well, Morning Creek and Twilight River will kill him." She then sighed. "Well, it is your choice, go where you want, do what you want."

I would leave myself, but I fear the judging stares and that I would never be able to practice my healing as well." Will bowed his head. "You've always been much braver than me." A thought came into his mind unbidden. "Go quickly, then, before Genko notices your absence."

Will stood there for a while, watching and feeling Mist's scent drift farther and farther away. Sighing, he turned back towards camp, walking slowly, thinking of what to say. After all, he would have Genko to answer to when he got back and Mist being Genko's favourite fighter wouldn't help much either.

Cloudfeather nodded, and then stood up to walk back to camp again. She entered her burrow, looking around hoping to find something interesting, but no. She then went back outside, looking at Velvet. 'I best to keep an eye on her,' Cloudfeather thought.

Velvet sighed. She remembered Cloudfeather telling her to stay with Morning Creek at the Gathering, but the Gathering was where all the Clans mixed. She desperately wanted to know more about Will because he seemed an interesting guy and he could help her a bit with herbs. She decided to wait by the border to see if he would come back.

Will continued to walk back, skirting all the borders until he saw another fox. Will didn't want to look like he was sneaking around, so he cautiously stepped out of the bush, revealing himself and the identity of the fox who followed Cloudfeather around. "Hope you're not sneaking around," Will said flatly, sniffing the borderline.

Cloudfeather then nodded when Velvet said she could collect herbs. She yawned, sorting her herbs in neat piles in the dirt. Each in it's own spot in the den. She felt hungry, she heard her stomach growl. She hopped out of her den and grabbed a thrush.

Velvet just sat beside the border. "Im not on the other side. Anyway, about the gathering.... Im sorry about Cloudfeather. You know the tensions between Clans this year. Anyway, I believe you are the healer." She smiled, hiding something under her paw. She lifted her paw up, revealing four green leaves. "Borage. It's mating season. With mating season comes kits." She pushed two across the border. "A healer to healer gift. Although Im only an assistant."

Will awkwardly accepted the gift, pulling it to his side of the border, and sat beside the leaves.
"I do know about the tensions," Will said. "But thank you for the gift- I cannot bring anything back for you at this moment though, I'm afraid I've already cleaned out my side of the border of herbs." He paused. "Perhaps another time," He lied. Will knew that if Genko's way was done, then he would need as much herbs as possible. "You will make a great healer one day." He praised.
