Chryssie idly watched the scenery out the window, Daja` lazily laid across her lap; getting white fur on her black outfit. When the trees blurred she began to feel nauseated; finally having to looked into the bare room. That didn't last for long when a boy shuffled in, almost tripping over his own bags. When he threw his suitcase aside, shut the door, and sat down; he locked eyes with Daja`. The small feline gently swayed her tail from side to side, never letting him leave her gaze. Chryssie didn't know what was wrong with him until he let out a scream, rather girlish at that.
"What's wrong?" Picking Daja` up to cross the small room to him, he became more frantic in pointing the cat out. So the kitten got sat on the side farthest from him.
"What's going on?"
"C-cca-at."

"Gryffindor, through and through!" Jane shouted, waving a fist in the air.
"But you only sort of want to be in Ravenclaw? You got smarts?"

Kitty laughed slightly at how ridiculous Jade looked waving a fist in the air. "Um. My marks aren't bad. Gryffindor sounds cool too, I guess." Kitty felt like she didn't really fit in any of the houses. It would have helped if she'd came from a wizarding family like Nick, and her parents and maybe siblings would have given her an idea of what they were like.

"Mmm. Hufflepuff isn't bad either! A lot of duffies go in there, but that doesn't mean that it's a terrible house to end up in."
Jane paused for barely a moment.
"And Slytherin, same goes. You're not a bad person if you end up in that house! Having ambition & power isn't bad."

Kitty paused, shocked, but not showing it. "A girl told me only mean and cruel people ended up in Slytherin!" Had she just been really mean to that boy earlier?!? Maybe I DO deserve to go in Slytherin then, Kitty thought, mortified. She was liking Crystal less and less.

Kitty scowled. "No. So, did you come from a wizarding family or what?" Kitty smiled, doing her best to try and be friendly. Because boy, was she doing well at that, she thought sarcastically.

"Hey, me too," Kitty said in what she tried to make a bright tone, but didn't work for her. Gah, she was SO not good at this social stuff... And she couldn't believe Crystal had told her that, now that boy would think she was weird and tell everyone else she was weird...! At least she had Nick as a friend. Although, HIS friend... She frowned, her default expression but this time for a reason. Why was this so hard?

Jane shrugged and paused for a moment.
"Could it be... that you're scared? So quiet. And those expressions on your face... so funny." She grinned and couldn't help laughing a bit.

Cael sat back and read his book while half-listening to the girls' conversation. Huh. That Kitty irk also wanted to be in Ravenclaw. Cael wasn't sure if he wanted to be in he same house as her. Removing his nose from his book, he asked, "Hey, you, Kitty something, you wanna be in Ravenclaw?"

Kitty scowled harder. "Well, if I WAS scared, we'd know I wouldn't be in Gryffindor," she rolled her eyes, and didn't answer Cael, because the only answer she could think of was wailling "I DON'T KNOW!" and that would so not suit her. So she then got up. This compartment was getting stuffy. "I need a breather," she excused herself.

"Aww~ I made a firstie mad~" Jane said jokingly not noticing the scowl.
She leapt up to follow Kitty, ignoring the fact that she most likely wanted to be left alone.
"Hey, Cael, wanna go exploring~?"

Cael looked up at Jane and remarked, "You know, she just might be antisocial." He stood up and brushed off his robes. "Sure, we need to pass the time somehow. Let's go."

Jane pouted.
"Who ever said I wasn't either... People can act you know..."
She plopped herself back into the seat and let out a long sigh.
"Mm~ She'll get a little mad... but okay!"
Jane leapt up and peered into the coridor. Not too many people seemed to be there. She beckoned Cael out into the hall...

Kitty wandered down the train, dodging other first years catapulting past. She wasn't in the mood to join in. She'd been so excited to get away from the orphanage, so happy to find she was special, abnormal, that she'd never thought what everyone else would be like.

Crystal sat alone. Like always. Everyday like this. By herself. She siged and woke up Charlie. They where almost there. She was in her school robes which felt awkward. She heard the compartment full of people a couple over. For some reason today she had become noise sensitive and Adair of shadows. This magic thing was getting to her. She thought as she rolled over to get some sleep.

Shuddering in fear from the kitten who herself looked like she could fit in a teacup, Bayden pressed himself against the window of the compartment.
"W-why is th-there a c-aa-t in here?" Shakily, his finger rose to point accusingly at Chryssie.
"She's my familiar, duh. There are cats probably crawling around this train." Scoffing, she plopped down beside Daja`, pulling some sweet desert from out of no where.
"What's your problem?" Licking the chocolate glaze from the sweet off her finger, she locked eyes with the boy and added, "You act as if she, the most adorable kitten in the world, my sweet kitten, was a spider."
"I've never liked them. They've always freaked me out." Eyes trained on the cat now sitting in the girl's lap; Bayden took one of the sweets she offered him. Where is she getting them?
Out in the hallway, Chryssie heard someone shuffling by. Curiosity getting the better of her, she got up and opened the door.

Joy crossed the hall gossiping with her friends. She saw a compartment with a girl alone in it. Her friends went: Awwww, firsty is sad. They giggled and walked away and Joy slid in. "Hey, are you okay?" The girl turned her head away and ignored Joy. "Fine, whatever." She said as she left the room.

"Thanks, I guess," Cael replied, "Come on Jane, let's go." Grabbing Jane's hand, he tugged her down the hall. As an afterthought, he called over his shoulder, "By the way, I'm Cael!"
