Ginger then bounded out of the compartment again.
Sarah gave the boy a "Sorry!" smile, and ran after her cat.
She found her attacking a raven in it's cage, while a boy read a book, not caring. Sarah pried Ginger off of the cage.
"I'm SO sorry... Is that your raven? Aren't we only supposed to have owls?" Sarah asked the boy.
"Blackfeather is my PET. I have a toad for a familar." the boy said, expressionless, and still reading his book.
"So, what's your name? I'm Sarah." Sarah chirped.
"My name is "Go away." the boy said, somewhat annoyed.
"Okay, then..." Sarah replied, downcast. She grabbed Ginger and left the boy.

Cael's eyes followed Jane down the hall. Whatever. Girls. He shrugged and headed for the back of the train. Opening the door, he stepped outside.

Cael got bored with the unchanging scenery after a while and headed back in. Pulling his hood up over his head he walked back to his compartment. He opened the door and froze. There was a new guy. And Kitty. Wrong one. Cael turned around to leave.

The boy watched the girl and her cat leave.
He pounded on Blackfeather's cage and told him to stop squaking, then turned back to his book.
Okay, he felt A LITTLE bad fot chasing off that girl, but he decided not to let that bother him.

Felix ignored the person who asked him a question. He was already preoccupied with gazing out the window at the scenery, as if in a trance. "Hum hum, today, today is the day~" he hummed to himself. Felix stroked Iggy's feathers through the cage. Suddenly he looked up. "Huh? Did I miss something?" Felix asked as he watched some people file out of the compartment.

Kitty couldn't decide whether to laugh or to scowl, so she did some combination of both. "I don't believe you anymore, it's not worth my time."

Cael's eyes were starting to burn and he knew they would tear up soon. He so did not want to look like he was crying in front of a girl. So he blinked. Augh. He lost. Oh well. When he reopened his eyes, he greeted, "Why were you talking to Lloyd?"

Cael gave an indignant huff. "WHAT THE HECK?!" he demanded Lloyd, "it's just she never talks to people. Whatever." And he turned around and stormed out of the compartment.

Kitty managed to stop giggling after a while. This guy acted so cool... She looked at him with an evil measuring look, wondering what it would take to make him run away screaming.

She bounded out the compartment to follow Kitty.

On hauling her trunk off the train, she dumped it with the others and headed towards the voice calling, "First years! First years over here!" Rain was landing in huge splashes and Diamond took cover on the inside of her jacket. Scowling up at the sky, she hoped they wouldn't be waiting to long.
She smirked as several girls shrieked as they got drenched by a sudden downpour.

Cael suddenly noticed everyone exiting their cabins. maybe they'd arrived. He glanced out the window and saw the huge Hogwarts castle in the distance. Then he felt the train slowly shudder to a stop. Retrieving his luggage, he followed Jane who happened to be in front of him.

Lloyd pulled his luggage close behind him, doing his best to avoid others as he followed Jane and Kitty.
He watched as the non-first years went into the other direction where carrages were being pulled by dark, shadowy creatures...
"First years! First years over here!" the voice called out in the rain pulling him back into reality.
"Come on! We're gonna drown in the rain." Jane beckoned Kitty, Cael, and Lloyd to follow.

Kitty rolled her eyes at Jane. She loved the chilly thrill of the ice cold water sinking into her skin. Staring ahead through the crowd, she grinned as she saw their mode of transport.
They were going to get utterly SOAKED.
"Boats!" She told them, and pushed through the huddled group of first years to get a good one.
Oh, and she'd lied: boats didn't make her sick.
Or well, she'd never had the chance to find out.

Cael urged his hood over his head against the torrent of rain. slowly turning his head, he saw the thestrals Aidan told him about and some carriages. Following the movement of a hand, he saw that Jane was beckoning to him. Cael trudged through the mud to where she was standing.
