Felix smiled as he sat down. "Sup." he said. One older student patted him on the back. "Welcome to the group." he told Felix and sat back down. "I'm Barney." Felix restrained a snicker. Barney, the purple dinosaur. "Call me if you need anything." Barney told him with a smile. "You, small fry?" Barney asked. Felix scoffed at the insult to his height. "Hey, I'm younger, I'm still growing. Felix. You heard 'em call me." he said and grinned smugly. Barney rolled his eyes and sat down.

"GRYFFINDOR!" The hat shouted. A few sorts later ("Pryce, Louise," "HUFFLEPUFF!" "Rhodes, Melody," "SLYTHERIN!") and it was "Sinderly, Nicholas." @smilies I'm so sorry! I have been sick for the past weeks and couldn't do anything much.With everyone's eyes now trained on Cindy, the girl walked confidently up to the stool and sat down upon it. In her ear she heard a voice which no doubt belonged to the hat. "Hmm... an abused child, am I correct? You have a kind and loyal heart you know." Cindy's heart sank. "I don't want to be in Gryffindor or Hufflepuff," she thought fiercely. "Tut, tut, I think you ought to be in-" "Don't you DARE put me into those houses! If you do then I'll hunt you down and burn you!" Cindy yelled back at the hat.The school was still looking at Cindy, wondering why the hat hadn't called out her house yet."Fine, put it your way. I'll put you in... RAVENCLAW!!!" The hat yelled and Cindy's heart lept. She skipped merrily to join her house at the Ravenclaw table while almost everyone else clapped.

@SmiliesSorry it took so long, I was making a cake... 0-0Jackie glared at the few people who dared to laugh at her name. Slowly she walked towards the sorting hat, and placed it on her head. The right side heavier than the left. "Ahhh! Waffles is it?" It hissed in her ear. "Is that OCD I sense?" Symmetry? I must disgust you then." Get on with it! Jackie thought angrily. "I'm going! I'm going!" There was a moment of silence before it spoke again. "Hufflepuff wouldn't fit, no.... Gryffindor....no.... Ravenclaw?" I glared up at it. "No? Better be SLYTHERIN!" Almost instantly Jackie threw off the asymmetrical hat, and rushed off to the Slytherine table. She was bursting with joy when the other Slytherines clapped and patted her on the back.

Cael muttered under his breath when he saw yet another girl join the Slytherin table. She seemed angry at the hat for some reason. He gave a snort and thought how hypocritical he was being. Scowling, he turned towards the girl and questioned, "Why do you hate the Sorting Hat?"

With the last boy sorted, ("Zachary, Blake," "HUFFLEPUFF!") the Headmistress, Professor McGonagall stood up. "Welcome to another year at Hogwarts. I have a few things to say but it would be a complete waste of time to say it when your stomachs are all empty," she sat down, and everyone clapped, then food magically appeared on the tables.

Then, much to Felix's delight, the food appeared in front of him. He cheered and then pigged out and didn't even used a napkin.

Sarah gasped happily at all the food on the tables. She hungerily grabbed for the things on her plate, and started to take to some of the other Hufflepuffs at her table. Miles grinned as the food appeared. It looks DELICIOUS. He put down his book and went after the food.

@randomkitty17My friend Tim got me hooked, and Death The Kid is showing up in everything I do, even if I don't mean to! xDJackie reached for a large turkey leg unhappily, she didn't now anyone. If only someone would talk to her.... While tearing the meat from the bone a ghost floated right through her plate! Jackie angrily chucked a spoon at it's head. It passed through the ghosts neck, and hit someone in the head. Jackie ducked, so no one would see her.
