Again I'm here!Joy stepped forward with confedance she would get GriffenDor just like her friends. But she was disappointed when the hat brushed her hair and yelled "RAVENCLAW!" She gave her friends a sad half smile and sat down next to a girl at the RavenClaw table.

After that a boy called, "Ingot, Christopher," was made Hufflepuff.A B C D E F GH I..... J. Kitty knew as the I's ended it would be her."Jones, Kitty!" She was called. She stepped up, not noticing the ensuing whispering after her name. Jones....."Ooh," a small voice whispered in her ear, she recognized it as the singing hat. "Lookie here. You have bravery, but only to an extent. You are loyal, but only to an extent... Yes, you have brains....Yes.... So that makes you..."Just please, not- Kitty started to think."SLYTHERIN!" The word was shouted to the hall, and people clapped, although some of Ravenclaw didn't, half of Hufflepuff didn't, and only a few from Gryffindor put their hands together at all.Slytherin! Kitty finished desperately. She sat there frozen for a second. "Dearie, everyone's looking at you," the hat whispered, and angrily Kitty dropped the hat back on the stool, ignoring the temptation to drop him on the floor and stand on him, and sat down at the Slytherin table.

Sarah clapped for the girl she'd met earlier. "Poor girl, Slytherin has been looked down on for a long time." Miles mumbled. /And considering my dad was in it.../ he thought glumly.

Miles paused. he took a deep breath, and strolled up to the stage, trying to seem confindent when he was actually shaking on the inside. He sat down and let the hat fall over his head. "Ok hat, NOT Slytherin, whatever you do, NOT Slytherin."he pleaded with it. "Hmm...... But you want to prove yourself, don't you? You aspire to be something big, and that are the perfect qualitys for a......" "SLYTHERIN!!!!!" the hat bellowed. Miles bite his tounge to avoid cussing out the hat. He got up, and sulkingly walked to the Slytherin table, and sat by the girl who was also just called. /He's a Slytherin too, huh?/ Sarah thought, wondering which house she would be in.

Miles noticed the girl. "Need something to do?" he asked. He was reading about Transfiguration.... a match into a needle..... Wouldn't a MATCh be more useful than a needle?

@smilies my turn XDAs his name was called, Cael took a deep breath and went up to the stool. Sitting down nervously, he tried on the hat. "Oh my," the sorting hat whispered into Cael's ear, "Smart one, aren't you? Witty too." Cael sighed with relief. That meant Ravenclaw, right? However, the hat had other ideas. Whispering again, "but you use those wits for sarcasm. And you are oh so cynical. And you take pleasure from others' pain. Oh my, an added perk, extremely pure blood lines. Hmmm..... " Cael shut his eyes tightly and hoped for Ravenclaw. "SLYTHERIN!" the hat bellowed. Cael flailed mentally. Nooooo! He was supposed to be in Ravenclaw. What would he say to his mother? Oh, I was placed in the house of baddies cuz I'm FREAKING SADISTIC. That would work out well. Cael didn't even want to see the look on his brother's face, so he swallowed and scowled and stared straight forward as he trudged to the Slytherin table.

Cael eyed Kitty and the other Slytherins as he sat down. He shut his eyes tightly, pulled his hood over his head and slammed it down hard on the table. Ouch. He hadn't meant to do it that hard.

Felix sighed and slowly made his way up to the hat. At least he wasn't the kind of person to get stage fring. 'Please, please, not something bad..." he thought. He put the hat on and waited a second. "GRYFFINDOR!" The hat called out. Well, that wasn't so bad. The coat of arms for Gryffindor had a lion on it, so that was cool. He made his way over to the Gryffindor table and sat down.

The Sorting crawled by. With every student a house gained, the houses clapped harder. As far as Nick could tell, most went to Hufflepuff, then Ravenclaw, then Gryffindor, then Slytherin. ("Lynch, Drew!" Barely sat down- "SLYTHERIN!" "Myre, Xanthe!" Sat there for nearly four minutes- "RAVENCLAW!" Many heads turned as this girl sat down, and Nick couldn't help but notice she was extremely pretty.)Next was, "Parker, Sarah!"@taffy789@taffy789@taffy789@taffy789@taffy789

Kitty looked up slightly: it was her friend Sarah. It would mean a lot to Kitty if she had a friend in her house- or well, a girl friend- but remembering Sarah's personality, she doubted it.
