Cael eyed the new additions to the table. Girls. He would never understand them. Finishing his ice cream, he attempted to sneak a bite of Crystal's.

Lloyd wandered off, bored with their chit-chat, and entered the little shop. An old man stood behind the counter.
"Ahh... you're here for your wand? Come, come." He beckoned Lloyd into the store as he pulled out little rectangukar boxes from the shelves.
He pulled out one after another, placing each one in Lloyd's hand for merely a second before replacing it with another.
They went through hundreds
"Er... what are we waiting for?" Lloyd asked.
"The wand chooses it's owner," the old man mumbled.
He pulled out another and placed it into Lloyd outstreched hand. The air shuddered around them and it felt as if the wand sighed in his hand.
"Ah... 10 and a half inches, ash wood, pheonix feather. Funny, funny."
"Huh?"
"Nothing. 9 Galleons."
Lloyd eyed the man and paid before quietly leaving.

Kitty jumped when she looked at the time. Distracted by thoughts of insulting boys and possibly traitorous friends she hadn't noticed 1pm creeping up. She dashed to her room, grabbed her wheely bag she'd packed the previous night and hurtled down the Muggle street to the station.

@redfire77 I use mah iPod. It's quite fast 😊

Cael rolled his eyes and glanced at the clock. Shoot! He was supposed to be home by 1. He stood abruptly and rushed away without a backwards glance.

He sighed and ran through himself. There were so many other wizards everywhere...

Crystal realized what time it was and ran off to find Josh. He was sitting on a bench his eyes red from crying.
"Josh are you okay?" Crystal asked.
"Yes." Josh stood up. "Let's go!" He pulled Crystal through the slowly moving crowd, to their room and then to the station.

Rushing in the front door, Cael got his trunk and was bustled out the door by his mother, his brother closely following. When they arrived at the station, Cael's mother motioned for him to follow Aidan. Bracing himself, he copied his brother and ran straight at the wall. And ran through it. Looking around for his mother, Cael saw her hugging Aidan. As his brother boarded the train, Cael's mom(or should I say mum? XD) hugged Cael and said her farewells, "Be safe, take care, don't get into any fights!" He said goodbye and boarded the train.

No one had told Kitty how to get into the platform. But the other wizards and witches didn't make it difficult for her. She followed an extremely pretty girl talking fast to her mother through the barrier and on to platform nine and three quarters. She flicked her hair elegantly as she passed a group of boys and took her own carriage at the back of the train.

YOU MAY NOT REACH HOGWARTS WHILE I'M GONE.

Josh and Crystal ran through the quickly. Charlie. Fluttered around in the cage while Josh went and chatted with some of his friends. Crystal looked for Kitty but couldn't find her.

Cael looked around for an empty compartment. Finding one, he stowed away his trunk and sat on the bench. He dug out his bag of coins just in case he wanted to try Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. He wouldn't let Aidans taunting deter him. He would eat ALL of them.

((I had school today! Now I'm usually on Eggcave after 3.00am ECT.))

Cindy sighed. She had just read Hogwarts: A History and learnt about the houses. There was ravenclaw, slytherin, gryffindor and hufflepuff.

She wasn't sure where she wanted to go into. Definately not gryffindor or hufflepuff. Cindy didn't consider herself brave or loyal.

She'd probably go into ravenclaw which didn't seem bad. Slytherin seemed okay but the house has a bad reputation.

Cindy shrugged and started reading A Beginners' Guide to Transfiguration.

The Hogwarts Express had just left the station with a rather loud blaring noise when the door of Kitty's compartment opened. She looked up from her book, scowling at anyone who dared disrupt her. But the look faded off her face when she saw him. He immediately struck her as one of the people you just couldn't help but like, just because they are so LIKABLE. "Mind if I sit here?" He asked politely. "Everywhere else is full. Kitty smiled hesitantly and nodded.
He smiled warmly and held out his hand for shaking. "My name's Nicholas, but you can just call me Nick."
"Kitty Jones." She shook his hand.
A strange look flickered across his face for a moment, then was gone. "Oh, but you didn't get a cat?" He laughed, looking at Diamond.
She pretended to scowl, but joined in.
The talk turned to houses.
"I don't know what I'd do if I got in Slytherin," Nick shuddered. "My family would kill me. They never regained their honor after the battle of Hogwarts, they're a disgrace."
Kitty nodded. She'd read about it in a more recent history book she'd bought, all about Voldemort's rise and fall.
"But all the other ones sound fine. Although, everyone says Hufflepuff is a bunch of duffers," he laughed.

Cael was reading his A HISTORY OF MAGIC by Bathilda Bagshot when the door to his compartment opened. A little redheaded girl poked her head inside and asked, "Can I sit here? You seem nice." Cael laughed to himself. Hah! Nice... But manners required him to say yes so he replied,
"Uh, sure. I guess." Great. Another girl. This place was full if 'em. Cael buried his nose back into his book, trying to avoid her. Bu the girl had other ideas.
"So," she asked happily, "What's your name? I'm Isabelle, but just call me Izzy, only my dad calls me Isabelle. Are you a first year too? have you tried the jelly beans? What about the frogs? Ooh, what book are you reading?" Jeez, this girl was full of questions, Cael thought.

Crystal dragged her feet by the door everywhere was full or everyone said no. She saw a compartment with only 2 people in it. She poked her head in and asked if it was full.

"Err... Nice to meet you too, I'm Cael, I ate a whole box of beans and I don't like chocolate.This book is a requirement for first year, it's A History Of Magic. And yes, I'm also a first year." Cael rattled off his answers to her questions. Phew. Just as he finished, a girl poked her head in. Great. ANOTHER girl. He noticed she was the one with pistachio ice cream. Ah well. "Hey," Cael called out, "we have room for a few more." Anything to keep Izzy from talking. He shuddered inwardly.

Hey, try this flavor of beans, it looks like lime! Can you believe this is happening? It's all so new!" she gestured frantically with her hands as she rambled.

Crystal sat down and tried to coax Charlie out. He refused after biting her finger. She siged and leaned back. Cael was finding a way of cussing without actualy swearing and Lizzie was jabbering on about the candy. This was going to be a Looooong ride.
