The animals which appear to be a witch's or wizard's "pet" is actually, not a pet at all.

They are called a magical "familiar".

Ron's rat, Scabbers, is not a familiar, it's a pet. Ron discovers this in the third book.

I know.. I'm a witch... But, I don't know the list of animals a familiar can be.

Let me rephrase this

I don't know the list allowed to bring to Hogwarts
I doubt you can bring a wolf/lion/zebra with you, but it can be someone's familiar.
So I wanna know what familiar's are allowed into hogwarts.

And yeah. Scabbers is a pet. But the owl was his magical familiar.

In her lap sat a small female kitten, eyes starring up at her with curiosity. Chryssie had easily picked her, even though she loved all the animals and all the animals genuinely liked her. What caught her attention of this feline was how her knowing green eyes contrasted so harshly with her fur as white as pure snow. Those eyes, who looked as if she was trying to say something. When the child wrapped her in her arms - a warmth came over her. The warmth you get when you've been out in the cold and eat hot soup; it warms you from the inside out. After some thought, Chryssie decided to name her Daja.
Amy, short for Amilia, sat in front of her daughter drinking some kind of sweet drink. Beside her was the bags of stuff Chryssie would need for school; books, clothes, food for the train, sweets since her daughter had a large sweet tooth, and her wand. The wand took Chryssie a bit to find. Many of the wands looked so beautiful, but what sealed the deal on this long cherry wood was how the handle was black and had pretty markings on it, it had a painted vine wrapping around it, and even though it shined with polish; it looked hand carved.
At this moment, her goal was to not spill crumbs from her cake on the now sleeping Daja`. Later, it would be to leave her family; which would be hard for her.

Cael's mother pushed him into Diagon Alley with a bag of coins and told him to make some friends. He just sighed and rolled his eyes and walked into the streets. Finding an ice cream shop, he plopped into a chair and ordered.
