Hogwarts- School of Witchcraft and Wizardry~ An RP

"Took a while," Cindy murmured to herself.

All her life Cindy had been waiting for the moment for her Hogwarts letter to arrive. Her late mother used to tell her all about Hogwarts magic. Her father on the other hand, never bothered to mention anything to Cindy. He was always drunk and angry.

Smiling to herself, Cindy tucked her letter into her pocket and skipped good-heartedly down the stairs. With any luck, there might be a few leftovers at the table for her to eat.

Athen took her to the bank where she traded some of her "Muggle" money for some Wizard Money.

Then, Athen finally had to leave, but he gave her a train ticket first.
Something about a Platform 9 and 3/4? That didn't make any sense. AT ALL.
The again, she was a witch. Did ANYTHING make sense?
She hung out around Diagon Alley, popping into random stores.

Crystal huriddly ran to 9 and 3/4 next to Josh s
He ran through the wall and to the other side with Crystal right behind him. They got on the train and Josh high-fived one of his friends and hugged a girl.
"Hey kiddo go find a seat and I'll see you later!" He said and with that he was off. Crystal wandered around until she found an empty seat.

@smilies Can Kitty and Crystal meet? I think they would like each other.

Midway through her meal of stale bread, Cindy's door crashed open and a pale skinned man stormed through.

"Father," Cindy said casually. "My Hogwarts letter had arrived. Can you please take me to Diagon Ally so that I can buy my school supplies?"

The man halted and sneered at Cindy. "Why would I do that? I want nothing to do with magic any more. Surely you know that." His voice was soft but Cindy knew better. His tone was full of anger.

"I'll go by myself then," Cindy hastily replied.

"You will what?"The man suddenly yelled. "I will not let you go to some school full of scum! So don't even think about wasting my hard-earned money to buy some useless junk!"

Cindy stood up. "No. I'm going, whether you like it or not." With that last comment, she ran outside of her house, leaving her father behind.

"Get back here this instant!" said loud booming voice but Cindy was already halfway across the street.

"That's okay," Kitty relaxed and brushed a strand of her hair off her face. "First year at Hogwarts too?"

Cindy wandered through the streets of London, hoping to see some sort of clue of where Diagon Ally would be.

She passed a particularly old pub and walked inside. "The Leaky Cauldron" it was called. As soon as Cindy was inside, she immediately saw the familiar attire of witches and wizards. "I think that this is Diagon Ally," she thought aloud.

She meandered around the building. Nobody paid attention to the girl with shabby muggle clothes.

Pretty soon Cindy found herself in an entirely different place. She was on a street packed with bustling people. Looking up and reading a sign post which read Diagon Ally, Cindy smiled in triumph. She had made it! Now all she had to do was buy her school supplies.

Money wasn't a problem for her because her mother had left Cindy some money before she had passed on.

Well I learned all this today too so it's confusing to be too! So there are four groups! RavenClaw (the smart ones) HufflePuff (the kind ones) GriffenDor (the brave ones) and Slytheryn (the mean and cruel ones) Each group has their own commonhouse that they live in and dorms that they sleep in! Cool huh? Crystal explained excitedly. By the way I'm Crystal! She said holding out her hand.

"Mean and cruel?" Kitty laughed slightly. "Why would they have that as a house? I can't believe there'd be many takers. Ravenclaw does sound good. Kitty Jones," Kitty shook hands with Crystal.

Cindy bought herself her necessary school supplies. She also bought a calico cat named Hero who was one fourth kneazle (Crookshanks*s kitten) and she bought a wand which was Cherry, twelve inches long, with a dragon heartstring core.

"This us my brother Josh!" She said turning around to find him kissing a girl. "Nevermind, you can meet him later!" She said with an odd expression on her face.

As Sarah watched some kids plat Quittich, Sarah REALLY wished she could play, but couldn't by a broomstick, Ginger snuck away.
Sarah ran around the Alley in worry. She ran into the girls talking.
They had a Bejeweled Turtle, and an Owl.
"Hey, have you seen a golden tabby cat around here?" she asked the two girls.

"That's not Ginger." Sarah pointed to the cat that was runinng around.
She ran to check the dust pins out, and found a very dirty Ginger eating a mouse.
"Ewwww. Ginger!" Sarah laughed and shook her head.
"Thanks for your help... Are you going to Hogwarts too?" she asked the two girls. "I'm Sarah, by the way."

"Well, I'm staying at the Leaky Cauldron until we leave. They have rooms upstairs you know," Kitty said, in a slightly superior tone.

Sarah giggled as Crystal and her brother kinda fought.
"Mabey I can stay there too, since I can't go home." Sarah smiled, hopeful.
She opened a candy she'd brought earlier. A... Chocolate Frog?
Chocollate was always good...
She screamed as the frog hit her forehead, then jumped onto the ground. Ginger quickly snatched it up, and ate it in one gulp.
"That was weird." Sarah gulped.
"Hopefully Ginger is ok after that chocolate though!" she laughed, picking up her cat.
There was a small card in the package.
A man with glasses and a weird scar on his forehead were shown.
"Who is Harry Potter?" she questioned out loud.
She showed the card to Kitty and Crystal.

Sarah didn't hear Josh. She followed Kitty, chattering about random things, so was so hyper.
(Can you guess what House? XD)
She brought another choclate frog, and managed to eat it this time. She was all for trying new things, even if it meant ... frogs.
She was REALLY glad she didn't get a Toad now. She could imagine it staring at her now.... it's beady little eyes saying.. "Why?!? Why Sarah, WHY?!?"
She shook her head at the thought.
And appearently, Harry Potter and the other nameless person disapeared off the card.
Weird.

Cindy walked back to the Leaky Cauldron, Hero padding after her. She needed somewhere to spend the night.

Suddenly, Hero dashed a head of her. "Hey, Hero!" Cindy yelled, hurrying to catch the cat. She was NOT going to lose Hero, straight after she bought him.
