Hero ran up to two unfamiliar girls. Cindy followed him, still carrying her school supplies.

"Hero, why on earth..." Cindy panted and looked up at the two girls and asked, "why was my cat running to you?"

"Boy, am I glad I didn't get a cat," Kitty muttered. "This place is crawling with them running wild." She stroked Diamond smugly.

"Hey, I was SUPPOSED to have a birthday cake today, but that exploded. Literally." Sarah laughed.
She smiled at the new girl.
"Mabey he smelt the chocolate, or he's LURV with Ginger." she laughed, and set her own cat down.
Ginger looked unintrestedly at Hero, disraguarding him.

"Hehe, maybe," Cindy chuckled. "I'm Cindy, by the way." She introduced herself. "Are you a first year too? Did you come to buy school supplies?"

"Yeah?" Kitty tried to sound like HER birthday was all layered cake and diamond dust. "Well, big day tomorrow huh. It's getting late too. Might catch some Zzz's." Kitty had never been so social before in her life.

"Yeah, i'm Sarah, i'm going to Hogwarts too!" she adressed the new girl.
"Yes, I bet I can get a room here too." Sarah said, turning to Kitty. She smiled and picked up Ginger. She squeezed her cat, smiling. "Night!"

Kitty had room eleven. It was rather gloomy, but compared to her room back at the orphanage it was heavenly. Kitty sighed happily and fell down onto the bed, which wasn't at all lumpy.

Cindy smiled as the girls walked away. She left to go book a room to stay in the Leaky Cauldron.

Afterwards, she headed up to her room which she was going to spend the night in. She yawned, climbed into her bed and stroked Hero.

What a day it had been for Cindy.

Sarah smiled. She'd had packed a few "Muggle" things. Her pajamas, for instence.
She smiled, and fell asleep rather quickly, Ginger on her head.

Kitty dreamed of arriving at King's Cross station, but the conductor wouldn't let her on the train, told her to go home. Then she dreamed the station was empty and locked. Then she dreamed that she got lost and missed the train. Then she dreamed she woke up back at the Muggle orphanage, and it had never happened...

Sarah dreamt of a Choclate frog mad at her for eating it's friends, and it ate her, but a giant Ginger came along and ate the giant frog.... Sugar makes her have weird dreams.

The next day, Cindy woke up and carried Hero down out of her room. She took a Charms school book and went to sit at a table while house elves upstairs cleaned up her room. Cindy began to wave her wand to experiment with spells from the book.

The next day, Kitty nervously spent three hours in front of the mirror trying to get a good look. It made her even more jumpy because the mirror kept yelling stuff at her like, "Tuck your shirt in, scruffy!" and "Take a shower, smelly!" despite the fact she was wearing a dress, not a shirt, and she had already taken a shower and applied perfume.
Finally she went downstairs, and after wolfing down her breakfast went and looked at what Cindy was doing. Kitty stuffed down the impulse to try and imitate her as it would just make her look stupid if it was a flop.

Sarah woke up with Ginger on her head.
She took a shower, threw on her regular clothes, and got into a fight with her mirror.
She quickly scarfed down a bowl of Trix cereal, and skipped around, trying to find everyone from before.
Ginger rode along in Sarah's arms. She had her wand tucked away in her stylish boots. She wondered if waving it around while saying "Hocus Pocus" would do anything....

Cindy raised her head to see one of the girls earlier. "Sleep well?" Cindy inquired.
She set her book down as she unsuccessfully tried to do a hover charm. "I never knew magic was so hard," she grumbled to herself.

Kitty said nothing, and sat down, trying to memorize some history. After a while her mind started to wander and she instead went back to Diagon Alley and ate an ice cream sundae.

Sarah skipped out of the Cauldron place, and back into the wonderful Diagon Alley.
She decided not to buy any more of those Chocolate Frogs, ESPECIALLY after her dream last night.

(It's easy to guess what House Sarah is. XD )

Cindy left the Leaky Cauldron and bought some cat supplies for Hero. Afterwards, she visited a very interesting joke shop run by a red haired man called Weasleys Wizard Wheezes. Cindy bought some Spell Checking, Self Inking, and Smart Answer Quills.

His mother ruffled his already messy hair and chuckled.
"You take care of yourself. That pouch of money should be enough. Be sure to buy everything on the list, 'kay?"
Lloyd nodded, sighing. Couldn't he get on with it? A key was held out to him.
"Here. The key to the room I booked for you until the school year starts... There's a little something in there for you. Now go. I see you when the school year ends..."
His mother hugged him one last time and left, leaving him on his own.
Lloyd walked down the hall, stopped at room 17, and opened the door. I tiny little room but good enough. His luggage was already there. And upon it sat a cage in which was a young Barn owl.
Lloyd sighed. The wizarding world was such a strange place...

Lloyd fell into one of the ice cream parlour's chairs and watched as the people filed past him as he ate his ice cream. He was nearly done with his shopping list. Just still needed the wand and some things here and there...
"Eh. I wonder how many of them I'll meet at that Hogwarts school." he mumbled out loud.

Carl paid 8 galleons for his wand and followed his family to get the rest of his supplies. The remaining part of the day passed in a haze. The only outstanding part was when he got his owl. His lovely, spotted owl. Boggart was his name. His dark eyes peeked at Cael from inside his cage. Cael sat patiently in his room at home, examining his school supplies with awe. Waiting for the school year to start.
