Ariana ran after the Iccilah. "Well that was unexpected," She said as it fled. She stopped, looking back at everyone. Tikk had woken up, while Ash was still asleep. Nero was standing up, looking around.

Melanie woke up from the noise and looked around confusingly.

Ariana looked at the Iccilah. "I just want to ask you a few questions," her voice was sounding so clam it was almost menacing. Ash was asleep. Tikk tried waking him up, but it didn't work. Nero glared at the Iccilah.

Melanie watched the Iccilah as she pushed herself to Thea. She tried waking her up as Thea opened her eyes drowsily.

Hummerblade forced himself to run faster, but the Rathdrop's poison was still making him dizzy. He tried to chew the remaining vines off his wings as he stumbled along, but that made him clumsier and slowed him down. He fell with a groan, got up and started running but fell down again.

"Well, you can sting me if you want but then I'll die and you won't get any 'information'!" he growled.

Personality: Elegant, Delicate, Always Questioning, Full of Knowledge, Doesn't like to Share, Calm

Talents: Moonlight has a talent for logic puzzles and strategies. She has hoards of knowledge in her head that keeps growing. Moonlight can stay calm in the most violent of fights, for she knows that anger will take her nowhere.

Faults: Moonlight will persue knowledge no matter the cost, and more than once has gotten her into grave danger. She is very weak in physical fights and tries to avoid them. Moonlight hates sharing what she learns, even if her knowledge could prove for the better. She is very calm, yes, but she will never step in to stop a fight. Knowledge is more important to her.

Other: If Moonlight isn't gazing at the sky, stars, and everything around her, she is pondering why the world is how it is and is always asking others why Ark is so.

Hummerblade kept his mouth firmly shut, but his eyes flicked around looking for escape.

Grisallia felt tired, so tired. She had been on the watch for danger for a long time, and so far nothing had happened. Then she noticed a terron sitting up in the branches of a tree, and knew that nothing would attack them. Terrons didn't attack other creatures like her. They ate vegetables, and would scare the other bad creatures off. So she went to sleep.

Moonlight soundlessly moved out from the woods. The Grisal had finally fallen asleep. She was getting worried that the Grisal had insomnia or wasn't tired. She crept passed the sleeping creatures and hurried in the direction of where the Iccilah had run off too. Dangerous or not, that Corunis was going to ask him some questions. And answered questions meant knowledge. Maybe it would answer some of her own questions.

Moonlight had hatched after the terrifying noises had stopped. She had wondered what had happened to the other creatures, and thought maybe they had been attacked due to the sudden quietness. Obviously their parents didn't just leave them there. That would be silly, and very illogical. Perhaps the Iccilah had something to do with it?

Moonlight continued ahead and saw the three creatures. The Iccilah looked ready to escape, and Moonlight was anxious he would. She would probably go after him and get into a fight. She would lose. She knew that.

The Nym felt a slight breeze and blamed herself for not checking the wind direction. She did so anyway, even though it might be too late. Moonlight breathed a sigh of relief when she realized it was going downward. Only the sleeping creatures might smell her, but they weren't awake to do so.

Moonlight kept a safe distance so the creatures wouldn't spot her. She perked her ears up and she found she could hear what they were saying. She settled down but planned an escape route just in case.

Ariana kept her eyes on the Iccilah, moving closer to the entrance. If it wanted to escape it'd have to go though her. "If you try to escape then I will kill you," Ariana stated, then growled "Who knows what or who you'll come back with."

Tikk stopped trying to wake Ash up and dragged him closer to Nero. Nero placed his head on his paws, but was still alert.

"What..?" Thea muttered, then rubbed her eyes.
"Look, the Iccilah." Melanie replied.
Thea turned to where Ariana, Rodrop and the Iccilah where, and rubbed her eyes again.
"The Iccilah.. Rodrop!" Thea said.

Tikk held her staff close to her, she could wack the Iccilah if it came too close to her. It wasn't much defence but would give her some time. She glanced to her right.

Nero was breathing calmly, his eyes slightly closed. From far away it would look like he’s sleeping. While Ash was out like a stone. He was snoring, which annoyed Tikk. You need to start snoring right now? Tikk thought, sitting down.

Then she looked over to where Melanie and Thea were. She could understand how worried they were, their friend was near a creature which just tried to kill them. But she believed Ariana would stop the Iccilah from killing him, even if she has been acting weird lately. Even so, she’s still worried.

Hummerblade growled and slumped to the ground, knowing that he wasn't going to escape. Then he remembered something, and cursed himself for not remembering earlier.

Using his magic, he warped / teleported past the terrified creatures and out into the night, and since the vines no longer bound him, he gave a shrill cackle and flew off clumsily away into the darkness.

Moonlight cursed silently under her breath. The Iccilah had gotten away! At least she now knew they could teleport, it would be useful in the days to come.

The Nym started to pad quietly away from the area, staying calm even though the Iccilah had gotten away.

She looked down at herself, and admired her bioluminescent fur. It was always such a sight whenever the moon came out.
Moonlight equally hated and loved the night. Hated it because enemies could spot her white and blue fur. Love it because the night sky was such an interesting place.

Moonlight traveled a little ways off from where the other creatures were located. She wondered if she would ever be able to find that Iccilah again. Who knows, maybe does has valuable information.

The Nym shook her head. It would be very hard to find him again, much less actually capturing him. She would have to lie low and wait for another opportunity.

What? No! I have already waiting long enough. I'll have to find another way to gain information. But how? Moonlight wondered, gazing at the sky.

An Obarn stared at her from a nearby tree branch, which gave her an idea.

I got it! Iccilahs fly, don't they? And the only reason those other creatures were able to capture him is because he wanted to fight! Moonlight shivered at the thought of fighting for the fun of it. She would never understand other creatures.

I'll just have to act weak and stand in a clearing so it looks like he can easily defeat me, right? No, no, I'll have to look menacing so the Iccilah will think I'm worthy. Wait, no, that doesn't make any sense!

The Nym kicked the ground in frustration. Guess I'll have to study them more. So much for that battle earlier.

"Well," Ariana muttered, shaking her head, "I didn't see that coming. Anyway, we should all get some sleep." She walked to the back of the cave and settled down.

Nero closes his eyes fully, a bit annoyed that the Iccilah escaped. They may need to move, but for now they'll sleep. Nero didn't mind it when Tikk settled down next to him.

Ash was already asleep and Tikk didn't want to drag him back to their sleeping place.

Moonlight crept near the cave, thinking that a group of creatures might attract the Iccilah again.

Should I talk to them? They might think I'm an enemy, so I can't just waltz in. Maybe I could make some noises in the brush. They'd defiantly come see me. But would they attack on sight?

Moonlight decided she defiantly didn't want that. She sighed, I suppose coming up to them is the best option. I hope this doesn't lead to a fight.

The Nym slowly stood up and came into view. "Hello?"

Hummerblade flew and flew and flew. He landed at his original spot, and with a surge of anger saw his sister sleeping on the ground. He galloped up and kicked her so hard that she was thrown into the air.

"YOU!!!" Hummerblade snarled. "YOU LEFT ME!"
Dynatasia stared at him blankly. "You deserved it. Why didn't you bring and food back? I suppose you ate it all, you fat block of ice."

This made Hummerblade even more angry.

"These stupid creatures tried to capture me. They bit and stung me. Did you care? NO!" he growled. "I could have DIED and you weren't there." The anger was clear in his voice, but he was straining to hide it. In an effort to prove his point, he thrust his bloodstained limbs out at Dynatasia to prove his point.

She gave a gasp at seeing her brother in such pain, then her face hardened.

"They attacked me as well. If that stupid Grisal hadn't stabbed me, I would have brought back that little sorien and we would have a feast."

Her eyes narrowed.

"If we could get rid of the strong ones...then we could capture the weak ones and torture them. Then we can feast. But we already know that we can't beat them. If we call for reinforcements from the rest of the tribe, they'll steal all the food."

Hummerblade nodded slowly, as his cold, calculated mind began to work a plan.

"We need someone to slip beneath their ranks. Then that person could lead them into a place where we may attack. It can't be an Iccalaih. Our prey already knows that we're trying to kill them..."

Rodrop looked sharply at the Nym. He didn't know quite what to do. He raised his tail at him. "Come in, but don't do anything weird, or else."

Ariana nodded to Rodrop's statement, then closed her eyes. It took a while for the Gryp to fall asleep. The last thing she heard was a strange voice, before she fell into a light sleep.

Tikk, however, couldn't fall asleep. She wanted to know more. Maybe if she had done something, they could've gotten some information.

She shook her head and focused on the sound of Ash's snoring and Nero breathing.

Splashnose woke up with a start. She looked around where she was. No-one was there. She sniffed the air. Nothing She thought, walking off.

She was alone again.

Dreamflight fluttered from branch to branch, before she found somewhere to sleep. There she closed her eyes and drifted off.

Moonlight followed Rodrop, knowing that she couldn't and wouldn't do anything anyway. What would she even attempt? And why would she even attempt to kill them? There was no purpose there.

Melanie looked at the Nym as it walked in. She was too tired to think about the Nym, or the Iccilah, she closed her eyes and rested again.

Splashnose continued to walk through the forest. Fatigue began weighed her down. The ruby coloured creature knew she had to find a place to rest. Slowly she padded towards a bush. She was only half in when she lay down and fell asleep.

Moonlight opened her eyes and lifted her head up. Is everyone asleep? She scanned the cave, and saw that Rodrop was still keeping watch.

She quickly put her head down again, hoping nobody had seen her. Her eyes still darted around the cave, and her ears twitched with impatience.
