"What?!"she yelped in alarm as someone screamed what was going on. A earth-shaking roar echoed distant and menacing.

Her maternal instinfts kicked in, and Gwennie started to carefully roll the egg out of the cave. "Okay, all of our parents are dead and I think something is coming to hurt us. I need to go see if there are others."

She soon made it to the opening of the cave where she saw two creatures arguing. Gwennie stepped forward and said, "My name is Gwennie. We need to round up everybody and get them to safety. Something is coming."

I am adding one more creature:
Name: Amari
Gender: Female
Species: Cumula
Personality: Optimistic, adventurous, and feisty.
Faults: She can sometime be rude and blunt, but always has good intentions at heart.

"Shhhh!!" whispered Grisallia. She did a quick check of the people around her, including Carrie who had seemingly materialised out of nowhere.

The rain poured down in sleets, and the trees shivered in the torrents of darkness. She hoped Jaxie could stay calm.

THERE WILL BE DANGER SO STAY BEHIND Grisallia mouthed to her followers. She continued to makeher way through the dense undergrowth, careful not to step in the puddles of muddy water pooling round her hooves.

She had been creeping for a few minutes when she heard them. A branch snapped somewhere off to the right, and she froze. Then it suddenly occurred to her that if she rolled in the mud she would be harder to see among the dense foliage. But they would certainly notice her if she moved.

Then she noticed something odd.

It seemed as though that vine was moving. Apart from the freezing rain which drenched her in it's icy grip, there was no wind. Then she saw a huge thing slithering along the soggy earth, with a...

Grisallia could not hide her fear longer. She nearly screamed, but all that came out was a strangled choke. Her feet seemed to have turned to blocks, and her heart skipped a beat.

A GRISAL.

There was A DEAD GRISAL strung up by a vine in the trees. The corpse's eyes stared blankly back at her, locked in horror in the final moments of life. And even worse, THERE WAS ANOTHER CREATURE EATING THE DEAD BODY!!!!!!

Grisallia ran. She cared not where she ran.

The poison ivy scratching her fur as she flew past? Not a problem.

Her breath coming in ragged gasps which with every one she took? She could tolerate it.

So long as she put as much distance between herself and the Grisal-eating creature...

She shrieked in alarm, and then covered as many creature's eyes ad she could. Gwennie herded into a bush out of sight of the hortible scene.

"Alright who had the strongest nose?" She asked as commandingly as she could while being nice.

SilentSounds was horrified by what she just saw, but she didn't want to run away...yet. She crawled over to the Sorein and pulled him over to the where the pyarguin is.

"Shhh." SilentSounds shushed them quietly. 'I feel really bad for pulling the sorein and shushing them it seemed quite rude. Now let's not get side tracked. WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT?' She thought.

"Should you find your friend first?" SilentSounds whispered. "I know we're complete strangers,but right now for me it doesn't matter right now"

Jaxie nodded. "She's pretty strong and fast. She'll be back in a few..."

Grisallia burst out of the trees, gasping for breath. "Guys," she said, looking all around her. "We have to leave. I have no intention to tell you what I just saw. We all have to leave this place NOW."

She started to walk around, gathering everyone up.

"Griss?" asked Jaxie. "I found someone. I think she is a Ringtail because she has a ring on her tail."

He turned to Silentsounds.

"That is Grisallia, and she is my best friend. She is a Grisal, and my name is Jaxie."

"Hello, my name is SilentSounds, it's nice to finally meet you." she whispered. "Can you trust me for now? Where should we go?" 'Well I hope they trust me, I don't think they're going to trust me much later.' " I can tell you how I found you later when we're somewhere else safe" SilentSounds mumbled. She tried to stay a little far away in cause she gets attacked.

The Corunis was running away from something when suddenly, a giant plant monster appeared out of nowhere. "WHA IS THAT." he thought. He ran back to where the others were, "LOOOOOOOK!! GIGANTIC PLANT THING! RUANNN!!" he panicked.

Somewhere in a bush, a egg started to shake. It was purple with bat wings, and a fluffy light purple bunny tail also sticking out of it.

The egg started to shake more violently, and a small creature, resembling a sort of mutant kitten broke out. It struggled to it`s paws and sniffed around the bush curiously. "Mom? Dad?" it mewled loudly. "Where is everyone?"

Suddenly, a rush of memories hit the little creature, and it realized its name was Amari. No one was there to tell her, it was just a sense of knowing. The creature, Amari, picked up a strange scent.

Holding on to a fierce hope that it might lead her to her parents, she quickly followed it.

She yelped in alarm, and defensively pushed the egg behind her. "Could that be the thing that killed our parents?"

Dreamflight lay in the tree trunk with her friend, not sure of what was going on outside.

A strange monster went straight past Splashnose's hole. She was covered in dirt, which blocked out most of her scent and it was raining.

"HEY!! COME AND GIT ME YA STINKING SLIMY FUNGUS-BRAIN!!" Yelled Grisallia. She stuck out her tongue at the creature and hopped from foot to foot. The Garguaith turned to face her, it's eyes burning with rage. Slowly it turned and roared in anger, reaching out towards her with barbed tentacles.

Grisallia turned and fled in a direction away from her friends. The Garguaith thundered after her, hissing and spitting in anger. It tore chucks of rock and dirt out of the earth as it chased her, hurling them like deadly missiles.
Woah, it's fast! thought Grisallia as she ran...

"GRISS!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!" howled Jaxie. The Grisal was getting further and further away, so Jaxie flew after her. A few seconds later he clooapsed and landed with his face in the mud.
She's leading the monster away!! thought Jaxie with both admiration and intense fear. She's saving our lives!!

'What is that grisal doing she's going to get in a lot of trouble' she thought. SilentSounds was scared to go after her, but she did for some reason. 'It's not safe to be alone with that thing.' She walked slowly looking around her surrounding closely. After about 35 minutes she found Jaxie. "Are you ok? Where did Grisallia go?" SilentSounds asked as she tried to help the sorien up.

A rustling in the bushes behind him indicated that Grisallia was back. Jaxie drew in a quick gasp as his eyes fell on her.

"GRISS!!" he yelped, before scampering over and hugging her. The moment he touched her, he knew that something was wrong.

"Ouch!!" Grisallia moaned, pulling away from him. Jaxie stared at her wounds in horror.

"GRISS!! OHMYGOD WHAT DID THAT STUPID GARGUAITH DO?!?!?!?!?!"

"Nothing, Jaxie. I'm perfectly fine-"

"YOU CALL THIS FINE?!?!?!?!!! YOU'RE COVERED IN SCARS AND HAVE A BANDAGE AROUND YOUR HEAD AND YOU CALL THIS FINE?!?!?!?!!!!"

Grisallia leaned against a nearby rock and let out a long, wheezing breath.

"Is there any raw honey or cayenne pepper around here?" SilentSounds wandered around and found a river. She took a giant leaf and gathered the water and hurried without spilling the water. SilentSounds tried to wash the wounds. "It might hurt only a little so try to not yell. Or that thing might hear us. Wait for a little I'm trying to find some honey so it can treat and heal the wound" SilentSounds tried to find some honey. She didn't want to go far so she sticks somewhat close.

Grisallia heaved another painful breath as she leaned against the cold stone. Her wounds burnt like fire as the ringtail poured the water over them, but she didn't utter a sound.

"Don't worry. They hurt, but they only go down to the skin and not any deeper. I'm pretty sure they'll heal quickly, it's nothing really serious." She sighed.

Jaxie saw something bright red creeping out of a muddy hole in the ground. He was about to shriek out in alarm when he realised that the creature wasn't a threat at all, she was a corunis.

"Oh, hello!" He whispered.

SilentSounds found some how miraculously found some honey on a stick. 'It looks like someone spilt it on a stick and it splattered everywhere. She grabbed the stick with her tail. 'I have to make sure it doesn't touch anything. She says it's nothing serious right...' When she came back she saw another red creature. "Um can I ask what's your name and what you are?" SilentSounds quietly asked. She slowly turn around to the Grissllia "Are you ok?" she asked the red creature. "Grissalia are you sure you are ok to?"

Grisallia was still breathing heavily, and was obviously in pain. "I t-think I'm okay. It's just a few scratches, nothing much. I led the Garguaith to a raging river and tricked it into jumping into the water. I think it drowned because it went under and didn't come up..."

"I don't think you're ok. I'm going to use the honey for healing your scratches faster." SilentSounds whispered, but try to say normally. She tried to apply the honey onto her wounds. "Try to rest for a while, and don't move to much for now. By the way how did get those scratches? I know what I ask is dumb, but please don't doubt me." she gave a second of cold icy look. "Sorry for giving you so much pain with these cures." She walked away "I'm going to lie down somewhere else." SilentSounds found a hollow tree with a hole in it. So she jumped into it and lied down.

"Yeah...well.....it fell into a river and didn't come back up..." Grisallia murmured. "My name's Grisallia, and you're Splashnose, right?"

She sighed and sat down.

"I think they're called Garguaiths, pretty nasty creatures but not very smart. The ringtail you just saw was named Silentsounds, and she's pretty good at bandaging wounds..."

Grisallia winced as her scar began to throb again, but she still continued. She raised her voice a bit so that Silentsounds could hear her better.

"When I ran from the Garguaith, it tore lots of stuff out of the ground and threw it at me. If It had actually caught me, I doubt I would be here right now. Ouch, it hurt."
