@lenamilove I read the descriptions first and was surprised to see something resembling a mammal.Unfortunate that it seems to die early. Though it is reborn, won't its memories with its owner be forgotten by it? This would be going against my selfish wishes, but that is a good thing..With the (instantaneous?) sharing of knowledge, are they more intelligent, or are they just hive-minds?Love the art. @dragonnn It is similar to a hive-mind, but not quite the same... It's as if you had a constant, huge array of knowledge to pull from, about everything. They can form their own opinions, memories, and have their own lives, but can always draw from this pool of knowledge. You'd never have an excuse to fail a test, at least. And as for the process of being "reborn" so to speak, it's similar an "immortal" jellyfish species I read about, where it goes through life and basically reverts to a child again. I suppose its memories could remain intact, considering its the same creature.. But who knows? Thanks for questions and support, glad you like it.
