✧ WELCOME to the New Year's Nostalgia raffle hosted by Polaroid!
This may be the biggest raffle ever hosted by somebody on Eggcave but we'll see how it goes! 😋 You will pick a number, 80 or less, and I will randomly generate the picked numbers it in a random number generator. If your number is picked, then you win!

✧ 'OMG polar why are you doing this?! You're gonna go broke!' Because it's the season of GIVING! I want to give. Besides, you may notice it's a new year raffle instead of a Christmas raffle. I'm doing this because well...I want to start fresh in 2016. I made a lot of mistakes this year and I want to put that behind me. So I'm starting now. ❤️

To enter, your account must be at least 3 months old (I'll be checking) and ACTIVE (by active I mean you must be on at least once every 2 or 3 weeks).
If you get a creature and you are planning to quit long-term you must either gift or trade it away to someone who would take better care of it or return it to me. This is the season of giving, not taking!

Goal: Definitely to make more friends (maybe you?) and achieve more WL creatures.

Reflections: This year was really a letdown actually (should be my expectations are too high), I had expected more from Egg Cave, these 2 years, nothing had impressed me except for some creatures or stuff. But there was a lot of new thingies, Thief Shop, Leila Oasis (i can't remember) so on so forth. Surprises was what I had been given. Including all the new thingies. Friends too, new friends, new acquaintances, not those that will give Egg Cave up. Those that stayed. One great thing that Egg Cave had given me is Starshine. She had been with me throughout this whole year and is still doing so. One new friendship from 2015 was the thing that is worth most from 2015.

Reflection: This last year, I've gone through a lot. I thought I was the happiest I would ever be. My friends were the longest I've ever had, and everything was great. And of course that's when we found out we had to move. We had had some false alarms for a while, but we were beginning to be convinced we'd even stay in California, but such was not to happen.
I went through a long period of depression and anxiety. Fear that it would be Indiana all over again: bullies, hostility, and nowhere and no one to turn to. Delving into more and more social anxiety as I sat alone in my new home, watching as my old friends melted away other than one, I searched for a community, someone to help me through this. I saw a little egg on someone's Neoboards signature, clicked it.. and here I ended up.
I had the luck to find an Aerlo and traded it to achieve my first dream- my creature SanDiegoDreams, a Tawny. This site and the people on it welcomed me with open arms. Since I've been here, I've made dear new friends and seen just how kind people can be. It sounds so sappy, but the people on here have really let me rethink how I perceived people, myself, and society... There really are a lot of kind people in the world, as long as I open myself up them. I have to remind myself that every day.
Now, it's my first Christmas in my new home, and on EggCave... But I have loved both of these places much more than I have ever dreamed.
And I wouldn't trade this for the world.

Reflection / Goal: In lieu of a reflection which I'm bad at, I'll tell ya some of my goals of which I have many ^^; One goal would be to pick an actual major this year for my college courses. As of right now, I'm a general studies major with no idea which direction I wanna go .___. My second goal is to be less lazy this year and actually get things done- should mention there's no correlation with this goal and my college goal ^^; Schoolwork, though I do procrastinate, takes priority. Third and final goal I will list would be to find another job. I love my current job and all the critters I get to work with (I took a six minute video of kittens playing last time I was there 😸), but the place is going to pot, most of my concerns kinda go ignored, and it'll only get worse when one of my coworkers leaves this spring o-o so there are some of my goals.

Reflection / Goal: This year, since I already made a start at it over the summer and it's been going really well, is to start losing weight. My brother began a new diet plan since his roomate as recently been diagnosed as diabetic, where each meal has to potions of starch and one portion of everything else on the food rainbow. This plan has been going well for them, and I hope it'll serve me well as well!

Reflections: I've been kinda disappointed ever since the old artist on Eggcave left in 2013, as following that, less LE cave critters were released and user suggestions were created less. However there have definitely been amazing updates on the site as well making it just as fun and interesting 😊 Along with the people on this site of course 😸 Hoping that 2016 will be even better!

Reflection / Goal: Wow I really need to get my life together. I'm really just BSing my way in life right now. LOL. Hahahahaha, /weeps/ what am I doing with life? People actually plan for their life? What is this nonsense? I envy them.

I also need to reconnect with some people....you start to drift away...people change.

Concerning EggCave, holy moo moo, I got some wish list creature that I never thought I get. What is this, magic? Thank you kind people of EggCave! To think I started out this account with a common egg...NOW I HAVE A WHOLE COLLECTION OF THEM!!! Just look at my maser account! YAY! Which reminds me I need to collect ~800 more.

Reflection / Goal: It's weird, time seems to pass so quickly, too quickly for changes to occur...I certainly didn't notice any changes...But if you look back, I used to be that quiet girl in the back of the class, I literally meowed at all my teachers. While I still don't constantly voluntarily speak in class, I'm a lot happier, I honestly don't know why >~<.
In Egg Cave perspective, I supposed my rl changes affected my interactions with the community as well 😋 When I look back to my posts and wall comments from before my hiatus, I'm kinda surprised... I'm a lot more open now, though I still don't like trading much. I've revised my commitments on this site, whatever cc or ec I get is going to gifts for friends ❤️
As for goals, I hope to get into a good school, been preping for three years to take the tests ><...I still need to hug everyone in my school before the school year ends *sighs* I went and hugged a classmate on Wenesday and he ran away screaming T^T. I want to get enough cc to fulfill some of my friends wishlists...😋 Probably never gonna happen though....

Raflection: I was all over the place this year. Moved school twice. That was difficult for me to get through but I'm glad I was able to. I made a bunch of new friends along the way and that makes me really happy. At the same time, I feel like I've wasted opportunities that pass me by. A goal for next year would probably to work on my grades more cause they have dropped dramatically this year.

Reflection / Goal: This year was not the best year but not the worst either. I had to say goodbye to my friends in elementary because I was moving out early and was going to middle school. And on top of that, I missed graduation. Well, this year was a good opportunity for me to make new friends, so I did and I got so close to them. Yet, I still miss my friends back at elementary. The year is closing and I can't wait to start anew 😸.

Goal: Make more friends and express myself more

Reflection: Throughout the year i have found that i have been able to overcome some fears and personal issues that i had been struggling with, that i believed i wouldn't be able to get through but finally did and was able to support and help friends who were also dealing with loss and other issues and i believe i was able to help them by always being there for them and showing that i love them. Overall it was a year of rediscovery and hope and my main revelation was that to always be true to yourself and to allow others to help you ❤️
