Eveningmist padded to the warrior's den," Stormwhisker, Mothflame, Clovertail! You're on sun-high patrol!"

The warriors nodded and left.

Blazestar nodded. "Go find the rest of the patrols. We need to get all cats back to camp quickly. This storm is a bad sign. I don't like it." Blazestar meowed before retreating into his den. His fur bushed up, not from the cold, but from pure terror.

Eveningmist dipped her head,"It's fine Wolfpaw."

Eveningmist walked out of camp her fur prickled. She knew everyone was in camp except for... Mosspelt, Nightpaw and Shadepaw! She raced to the river shore panting.

"Mosspelt, Nightpaw, Shadepaw!" She cried,"Follow me back to camp."

Mosspelt and Nightpaw followed as Eveningmist quickly dashed back to camp. They entered camp soaked.

Shadepaw was wondering why the intrusion of their practice. She finally saw the rain and her fur became damp. Just when she finally trained the first time, great.

Sunsetheart determined to at least catch one fish, caught two minnows and rushed back to camp exhausted from running in the mud and wet.

Nightpaw turned to Shadepaw,"It's unfortunate that the rain ended our practice."

Moonsplash stared out of the medicine cat den and saw Tanglepath.

Mosspelt went under cover and shook out his fur.

"It is, if it keeps raining daily, will the land we thrive on be filled with squishy mud?" Shadepaw asked shaking her fur carefully not to splash it on the others. She started to clean herself a little then stopped.

Tanglepath continued to watch the storm. He forced himself to tear his eyes away and head into the warrior's den. As he walked, he caught Moonsplash's stare.

Nightpaw shrugged,"I guess so." He paused and started to clean his fur as well. He sighed, his fur was caked in mud.

Moonsplash looked away and examined Wolfpaw's work.

Tanglepath thought about going to ask Moonsplash why she was in the medicine den, but decided to give her privacy. He padded into the warrior's den, but stayed by the entrance to watch the storm.

Sunsetheart went to the fresh kill pile and placed the fishes down on it. He was glad that at least he helped out in a way. He leapt back to the den, steering away from the rain.
Would I have to still be in the rain to catch the fish? He questioned himself.

Shadepaw padded over to some area and suddenly tripped out of no where on the mud.
"Gah!!" She yowled. She got back up sighing at the wet places. Now dirty again she was starting to clean herself, licking, again.

Moonsplash watched as Tanglepath padded away. When was she going to be better?

Nightpaw bounded over to Shadepaw,"Are you alright? The mud is pretty annoying."

Wolfpaw nodded before she slipped back into the medicine den. Dropping her herbs in the store she began sorting them out. Until all were gone.

She stayed by the entrance though, wary if tracking water and mud all through the den.

Tanglepath's eyes darted back and forth, following the lightning. Thunder clapped and Tanglepath purred to the sound. He began to clean the rain off his coat.

"Yeah... Thanks for asking anyway!" Shadepaw mewed, happy that someone cared for her well being a little. "It is annoying, but the rain will get the prey out more, and it'll be easier to find them with their paw prints."

Nightpaw nodded. He padded to the apprentices den and started to clean off his pelt. Eveningmist padded into the warrior's den and saw Tanglepath,"How was the prey running for you?"

Shadepaw annoyed yet grateful for the rain looked at it deeply, then she stopped, cutting off her gaze to the rain. She continued to clean her fur until the mud is gone.

Sunsetheart laid down wondering when shall the rain stop so he can continue on his duty for catching prey for today. He purred happily closing his eyes.
The rivers and ponds shall be filled with prey all of sort!

Mosspelt had managed to make his pelt more or less clean he stopped and curled up in his nest and went to sleep.

Moonsplash slipped back into sleep.

Tanglepath purred. He closed his eyes and listened to the thunder. Opening his eyes again, he asked Eveningmist, "Is it weird I like storms? They just have always seemed to calm me."

Eveningmist cocked her head,"Storms are powerful they can remind us of the power StarClan possesses." "Though they haven't spoken in moons..."she muttered. Nightpaw curled up and went to sleep.

Shadepaw turned around about to ask a question, but soon saw him sleeping. Deciding it's better not to disturb someone while they sleep, she kept quiet gazing upon the rain again.

Sunsetheart felt hazy now from the storm, giving him a fuzzy aura of sleep.

((Minor time skip as everyone is sleeping. It's now nearly dusk. And the rain is stopping and the clouds are clearing away))

Wolfpaw, bored of just sitting around, stood up. Placing a hesitant paw into the rain and watching as the rainfall slowed. Until it was barely sprinkling now.

Her orange eyes alight, she turned to Amberflower. Shaking her mentor awake. They would have to be ready to head to the Moonpond soon. And she couldn't exactly go without her mentor.

Eveningmist crept out of her nest and padded into the now slowing rain. Mosspelt followed her out and stretched. Moonsplash tried to get up and that didn't exactly work. She managed to raise herself into a seated position. Nightpaw uncurled and padded into the center of the camp.

Shadepaw wondered what is happening, is it Nightpaw's ceremony? If so she was supporting it greatly for a new warrior to the clan. She walked over to the center of the camp towards where Blazestar is, watching where her paws are going to avoid falls.

Sunsetheart pranced for the announcement today at dusk, although he kept stretching tired now.

Tanglepath opened his eyes, realizing the storm stopped. He was kind of sad, it stopped, but glad the rain was almost gone. He got up and walked over to hear what Blazestar had to say.

Blazestar, satisfied that enough cats were awake stood up on the Tall Rock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here beneath the Tall Rock for a Clan meeting." He called out, his eyes scanning below him for Nightpaw and Mosspelt.

Mosspelt nudged Nightpaw forward. Eveningmist watched intently as Nightpaw stepped forward. Nightpaw had butterflies and was very excited.
