@hawk @pitch1226 @ushafuse @thebrokenvibe @izziebee1017 @cyson Moonspash woke up and noticed the scent of Tanglepath. She shrugged, she must still be sleepy. She got up and padded out of the warrior's den. She saw Eveningmist was already up so she walked up to her. Eveningmist was staring at the sky frowning slightly. Moonsplash padded up. "Eveningmist would you like to go on border patrol with me?" She meowed.Eveningmist looked down and nodded. "Sure," She replied. She saw Tanglepath and Blazestar were preparing to hunt. She flicked her tail and led her towards the camp entrance.

@izziebee1017 @thebrokenvibe @emeraldfirefly @pitch1226 @hawk @cysonDarkclaw was in the den, still sleeping soundly. Bramblefur woke up and looked around, some of the cats were still asleep. He got out, the ground damp, and peeked into the apprentices' den, Bluepaw was still sleeping. He got out and went to hunt.

@ushafuseTanglepath heard someone and saw Bramblefur. He didn't know who it was, but he hoped to later. Right now, he looked forward to hunting with Blazestar.

Sniff sniff nothing out of the ordinary... sniff still nothing... sniff not hi... Wait! what is that... sniff... a FOX! "Fox!" Eveningmist whispered to Moonsplash. They crouched over and snuck through the underbrush. There in the clearing was a russet red fox. Eveningmist leaned over,"It's rather small, it must be on the younger side."Moonsplash nodded. They slipped to opposite sides of the clearing. Eveningmist flicked their tail and attacked lunging forward.

@pitch1226 @emeraldfirefly @ushafuse @izziebee1017 @hawkBlazestar nodded. "Let's stick close to the river, there might be a few water voles. But fish seen rarely bothered by rain so a few might be ours." he said heading out of camp and sticking close to the river.

@thebrokenvibeTanglepath shuddered as he remembered his earlier visit to the river. "Ok. Sounds fun. I cant promise you I'll be able o catch many fish though. I always land in the river."

@pitch1226 "I'll be able to show you how to properly fish if we come by one." Blazestar offered, sympathy in his eyes. He pauses then, reaching a spot where the river splashed up onto the smooth bank."Here we are." He announced before he walked to the edge, looking over to Tanglepath. He flicked his tail for the other to join him as he sat down.

@thebrokenvibeTanglepath looked at the river warily. He sat beside Blazestar and stared at the water. He took a deep breath and looked at Blazestar, waiting for instruction.

@cyson @hawk @pitch1226 @ushafuse @thebrokenvibe @izziebee1017 Eveningmist charged at the fox landing squarely on its back she dug her claws in its pelt dragging her claws through. Moonsplash hid in the underbrush waiting for an opening. The fox snarled and swerved it's head to try and bite Eveningmist.

@pitch1226 @emeraldfirefly Blazestar looked down at the water as Tanglepath headed towards him. "When fishing ensure your shadow is not on the water or the fish will avoid it. Then stay completely still, watching the water. When you see a fish, use only one paw and flash it into the water quickly hooking claws into the fish." He said, demonstrating what to do and pulling up a slim minnow as he did so.

@thebrokenvibe@emeraldfireflyTanglepath watched closely, noting every command. "Ok, I think I get it." He sat at the edge of the river, careful not to let his shadow in the water. The tom waited for a fish to swim by. Finally, a small minnow came up the stream. Tanglepath stood completely still. Then he lashed his paw out, catching the minnow, but also leaned in a little to far. Tanglepath crawled out of the river with the minnow in his mouth. He spit onto the ground. "At least I caught it this time."

@cyson @hawk @pitch1226 @ushafuse @thebrokenvibe @izziebee1017 Moonsplash was surprised by the cat who came to their aid, but aid was aid. She leapt at the fox's face, the most dangerous part, determined not to let it bite her friend. She clawed at it's eyes managing to to blind one, but not before it turned back at her. She leapt away and slipped around it biting hard on it's throat until she tasted thick horrid blood. She leapt away again, unfortunately it landed a blow on her with it's claws creating long gashes on her side. She gasped and crept into the underbrush once more. Eveningmist was also surprised at the helper. Especially since it was a rogue one of those cats who killed her parents! Okay maybe not this particular one but still. She channeled all her anger at rogues into creating scars that mangy fox would remember. She gasped as Moonsplash was scratched. She added that anger into the equation and the fox was starting to have stripes of scratches along its back.

@thebrokenvibeTanglepath nodded. He sat at the stream and waited for another fish to practice on. However, none came by. The tom's mind traveled to thoughts about Moonsplash. Stop! He thought to himself. Focus on the fish! Tanglepath felt so confused with himself.

Then she turned around and eyed their helper. She scented like the one who had killed the rabbit from earlier. Eveningmist lost her anger for a second."Thank you," Was all she said for the fox and the rabbit. She turned back to Moonsplash and raced over. "Moonsplash!" She cried,"Can you walk?" Moonsplash shook her head. "I (cough) can (cough) sort of...," she replied.

He saw a small water shrew that was feeding on a snail. He stalked it and pounced, killing it. He bit it and continued looking for other prey. Darkclaw was awake now, he got out looking for Bramblefur but supposed he was out hunting or patrolling.

@izziebee1017@thebrokenvibe@emeraldfirefly@hawk@cysonTanglepath finally saw another fish. He went through the motions again. First, no shadow in the river. Next, stay still. Then, using only one paw, hooking the fish. He grabbed it and quickly used his tail, trying not to fall in the river yet again. Finding that he wasn't soaking wet, he smiled and put the small fish with the other two.

We'll try and get to camp."It's lucky that the camp was relatively close to them. "Thank you once again,"Eveningmist said dipping her head. Moonsplash leaned heavily on Eveningmist. Unfortunately Eveningmist had no knowledge of herbs and could only hope they got to camp on time. It was a long slow walk and Moonsplash groaned a lot. Moonsplash felt like here pelt was on fire. Her vision was hazy and she noticed they were near the river. Eveningmist saw Tanglepath and Blazestar fishing. "Help me," Eveningmist gasped,"carry Moonsplash to the medicine cat den. She got scratched up by a fox."

Viperfang said as she caught up to the Clan cats, she spit a was of cobwebs before the two she-cats. "Wrap these around her scratches. It should help while you get her to camp and to Amberflower." The former Clan cat added, as she turned to head off.

She stiffened at the scent of blood coming off her. She allowed Wolfpaw and Eveningmist to bring her up from the river. Eveningmist sighed as she examined her friend's wounds. She probably would be fine.

@emeraldfirefly @izziebee1017 @pitch1226Blazestar nodded at Tanglepath's improvement. "You are doing a good job, I wouldn't have expected you to catch on so fast. But minnow are easy to catch. Further downstream there are bigger fish, and they can be a bit tricky to catch, even for the most experienced hunter." The leader explained.

@emeraldfirefly @pitch1226 @izziebee1017 @ushafuse @hawk @cysonWolfpaw stopped as they reached the medicine den, dipping her head in thanks to the deputy. She darted into the herb store, grabbing horsetail and comfrey along with more cobwebs and moved over to Moonsplash, cleaning the warriors wounds with moss before she applied the poltice to Moonsplash's wounds and wrapping them in cobwebs. Sealing the whole thing with some burrs to prevent it from coming undone.

Moonsplash winced as Wolfpaw added the poultice to her wounds. She nodded thanks to Wolfpaw as she bound her wounds. Mosspelt was grooming himself outside of the warrior's den. A tuft of fur simply refused to go into place.

Shadepaw woke up late, a newcomer in the new clan she's in. She padded out of the den wondering who might be her mentor. She tried to steer way out of Sunsetheart's sight, wondering where she should go she wandered in the camp cluelessly.Sunsetheart didn't have a assignment today so he tried to find Blazestar eager to work dedicatedly. Also too wandering about the clan thinking about asking someone for directions to Blazestar, but was too scared of disturbing any of them as busy as they seem.@thebrokenvibe@pitch1226@emeraldfirefly@ushafuse

The apprentice proceeded to pull burrs out of her paws, digging them out of the thick fur there.It wasn't her best idea to use them, but it would help the wrappings stay there for a while.She looked up then, eyes wide. "Don't do anything strenuous for a few days." She whispered, watching Moonsplash intently all of a sudden, breaking her vow of silence for the first time in moons.

Shadepaw started to doubtly walk in towards a direction, but realized she doesn't even know where it is and then circled back. I'm too new to this...
