I have an Omastar. There was this huge nest at the playground near my house... there was also a Magnemite nest there too. And that's where I caught my Onix.

It's time to d-d-d--d DDDDD- #Pokemon Updates (why would us trainers duel?!)

Apologies in the delays in updating in events but oh my gosh! Legendary Raids are being tested in the staff servers of Pokemon Go.

Those participating in the Tiny Tourney are eligible to get some currently unobtainable-to-the-public Mega Stones ( @dragonnn if you don't already know)

There are Pikachus and Pichus (from eggs) running around with Ash's cap in Pokemon Go and Shuffle. You would have thought Pikachu would have learnt not to touch the hat by now, it's been ~20 years!

There is now a Weakness Cup competition on SuMo. If you participate in at least three matches you'll be eligible for Ampharosite, Altarianite, Latiosite, and Latiasite Mega Stones. Hopefully it's not too late to sign up because I need my Mega Altaria ❤️ May someone please ping me on the 20th to remind me to sign up, if anyone remembers.

I raided a gym! By myself! How bad is that? It was a Gengar, really powerful, and you only get two minutes to defeat it! I'm like geez, it's impossible!

30 mins before gym raids start, they give you a notification and then in that gym, an egg appears.

The weakest Pokémon I saw in a gym raid was a CP 4000 something Bayleef.

All right! I need the Latiosite for my lvl 100 Latios.
I saw Pikachu running around my neighborhood with Ash's hat. I missed it though. I wanted to get the net type of Pikachu. I only have regular and Santa hat so far.

I feel so old that I don't play PoGo anymore xD I think my best was like 1000 cp flareon before I deleted it because it was a battery drainer and took up a lot of space on my phone.

So I was revisiting the islands of Alola because I'm extra and I've realized so many things 😱

Melemele - This Island is absolutely beautiful in the night. The soundtracks especially on Route 1 and Iki Town make me feel like I'm in a cozy, homey village. The nature and culture enthusiast part of me screams when walking down Mahalo Trail. The way they infuse Polynesian cultural aspects into these roads are beautiful. Hau'oli City has a distinct "urban-Island" feel which later cities, like Konikoni and Malie severely lack. In my opinion, Melemele is best to experienced in the night. The soft glow of the moonlight on the beautiful island is very nice, and the soundtracks during the night are even more beautiful than those in the day. Unfortunately, Melemele Island is moderately small and the time spent there is less then Akala and Ula'Ula, but it's definitely the best Island. I WANT TO LIVE IN IKI TOWN :') ❤️

Akala - By far the biggest Island. The design is good for a Pokémon game, but nowhere near the beauty of Melemele. My favorite places are Brooklet Hill and Wela Volcano Park. The sheer amount of content in this island is a one time thing, but the better than average design makes this my second favorite island.

Ula'ula - Ula'Ula Island is ugly. From Po Town to Malie City, this island is an absolute disaster. Po Town is well designed, but I still don't like it. It's designed to make you feel uneasy. I wouldn't spend more than a minute revisiting it, just to get the skull tank from PMC. Mount Lanikila, Haina Desert, Hokulani are all very ugly and exactly like old games in design. Blush Mountain and Geothermal Power Plant are a mess and do not even feel like a mountain. More than a way to introduce the galloping mechanic. Malie City is absolutely ugly. Worst designed City in the whole game. It looks exactly the same as the worn out template of Konikoni City and Paniola Town, which had odd and random themes but were acceptable. Malie City just didn't feel like anything, just another obstacle. It resembled greatly cities from previous games, which was the point.. (to replicate Johto..) BUT the problem is... Johto is UGLY ITSELF, like most cities in previous games. For these reasons, Ula'ula Island is the lowest ranked on the four island despite the expansive size of it.

Poni - This was a big surprise for me. The tiny puny poni island is bare of content, cities, and pretty much anything, but it is very well designed. Poni Island does ACTUALLY feel like you are on an island. Exeggutor Island and Seafolk Village are beautiful and island-y places that are both beautiful in their own right. The settings actually made sense in Poni, unlike a random Japanese and Western Town in Akala or a random Johto Town in Ula'Ula. Poni Grove and Poni Gauntlet are absolutely beautiful. Naturistic and good replication of island ecology. The trainers are a bit too excessive, but it is supposed to make up for the lack of content. The downfall of Poni Island that drops it to my 3rd favorite island is everything other than its design. First off, it's absolutely tiny. The content is absolutely tiny, especially content during the main story. Also, Mina's lack of a trial is NOT made up by the fact of dragon trial. Mina's hippie vibes would have made AN AMAZING BEAUTIFUL TRIAL. Except she's too lazy to make one. Also, you are on the island for maybe 30 minutes when the kahuna decides to battle you. Like what? Hapu needs to chill, I want to check out Poni some more. Despite these major content flaws, Poni Island does come in as a solid third place

Can you describe all Pokemon games you play? I love it!

I believe PoGo did try and reduce the batter life it takes. Don't feel old about not playing Pokemon Go, I befriended someone between 30-40 years of age because he noticed me playing it. It was very well timed because a few minutes earlier my mother said, 'still playing that silly game?'

For the Tourney I'm not going to try and get a really good team, it would be too much work with what I have for now so I'm just going to do the bare minimum. I may try to breed for better stats but finding better items wouldn't be feasible for me.

I completed my first raid too! It was a Bayleef but it's a fairly strong one so I'm very happy with it!. I'm going to stick with level 1 and 2 raids until I get to lv 30, if I get to it within a reasonable time. It was 5000 CPish.

I believe Magikarp is the weakest raid available which is amazing because it allows lower leveled players to participate as well ❤️ I managed to snag two of the Hat Pikachus and there's still a week to catch them all (until the 22nd I think). So far, I've only found special Pikachus, not a single normal one! I do not have a Granbull, I haven't been able to track one down.

I don't have a Blissey either. Or a Snorlax and I really want to try and get one soon, why won't it appear at uni?

Iris, you may have luck looking at an op shop or second hand store for a console or try for a 2DS, it's much cheaper than the 3DS and isn't too slow. Or go to a retail store that has consoles. Even checking online would be good (I've been stalking for an Xbox 1 cheap online hehehe).

Have you leveled your Pokemon up completely? You definitely should have Pokemon capable of going over CP2000.

For the Chicago Fest if you're not in Chicago then there is no limited area for you. So catch Pokemon randomly until you run out of Pokeballs during the time period!
