Apologies for all my questions. :'D I'm just a bit confused on the difference between holds and regular bids, seeing as you can still outbid a creature with a hold on it, and holds aren't winning bids?

Holds are if the person doesn't have the stuff to pay up with at the current time, thus the auction cannot end while a hold has the highest bid- it stops the timer, essentially ^^

Installments are just something you can do if the price is really big, it depends on the pet really ^^
For installments I'd usually prefer a 3rd-5th of it as down payment, but it's negotiable ^^""

This is an auction, and I may not always have the same ideas on value in mind as someone else's creature guide, although I always try to be fair! There's a simple solution to it though, and that is if you're not happy with the price here, then you're welcome to look elsewhere CX
You win in the auction when the reserve is met and your active competitors are vanquished. For that and any additional delays I apologize, but everyone's only human and some have busy schedules outside of this X3
