As Jaela walked, she went over the plan in her head. Get a disguise, Turn the others in, they break out, Get into the boss of the humans office and figure it out from there.She finally reached the others and pulled out a gun, keeping her fingers well away from the trigger. She jumped out from behind a tree and shouted, "HANDS UP!" At the avians.

Raina's wings fluffed out in shock as she jumped a few feet and screamed. "What the heck! How did they find us!" she yelped.

"We know everything. We know your friend is in the city. We've captured her already." Jaela grinned, happy to keep the joke going.

Lyon plays along and puts his hands up. "Ah, we've been caught. We shouldn't resist, this 'human' looks tough."

"Shouldn't resist," Raina protested. "We need to fight." This was weird, she thought to herself, usually Lyon would be up for a battle. She formed a shadow lance in her hand, and pointed it at the weird officer.

"Raina it is a disgued form Jaela so it is fine" Fang tells Raina in her head.

Jaela notices they all are less shocked than they should be, so she drops the joke and takes off the hat. "Time for phase two. Hands, please." Jaela sys, holding up the handcuffs.

"You do have the keys for these, right?" Lyon asks, hesitantly extending his arms.

"Nope. But I stole an extra one to demonstrate something." Jaela hastily clamped the handcuffs onto Lyon, then put some on herself. She held them up, gently jangling the chain. Then she jerked them apart and the handcuff chain snapped apart. She pulled on one cuff's hinge hard and it bent to the point of breaking. She did the same to the other cuff and waved her free hands in the air. "It'll only work if you're strong." she said.

"I hope this isn't another joke," Raina grumbles as she held out her arms. "This better work out. If not we'll face death, or even worse."

"Hey! Don't put them on me if you don't have the key!" Lyon yells at Jaela.

"Relax. I do as well." Jaela shot a glance at Fang. How could he have keys? He didn't follow her to ambush the guards, did he? Jaela held them up as she cuffed Raina as well.

Lyon sighed. "Thank goodness. Let's get going, these handcuffs aren't very comfortable."

''I think the comfort thing is't on purpose." Jaela put her hat back on. She gestured to the way into the city, saying, "I'll let you keep your freedom for a bit longer. Follow me." She started to the city entrance.

"How long is it gonna take to get there?" Raina whined. "It's been so long." She yanked at her wrists, trying to get more comfortable.

"About two minutes, at least that's how long it took me to walk." Jaela says. The wall of the city loomed over the group. She walked to a jagged hole in the wall and went through. "This way." Jaela says.

Raina stumbled and cursed quietly under her breath. "Walking with handcuffs is harder than I thought."

"Oof. You kiss your mother with that mouth?" Jaela called, hearing Raina's cursing. She kept walking through the tunnel.

"Sweet. I scouted around and found the cop base. I'll turn you in there, then it'll be up to you to get out." She handed them each a key. "Don't lose this. It'll be your way out." Jaela went over the plan. "West of here," She pointed. "There's the human king's building. I should be there. You just need to get in. Good luck, everyone." Jaela said.
