I prefer the beach since itβs more open, and thereβs more things to do there! :-^
cranberrycat1 • 4 February 2023 at 9:33 AM
It kind of depends for me like i feel more free in the pool + it is cleaner, but I also like the ocean because there is more stuff to do there
mango91 • 4 February 2023 at 9:40 AM

parona • 4 February 2023 at 9:53 AM
The beach, unless its crowded.
snowywinter • 4 February 2023 at 11:08 AM
like most others (hypothetically/nostaligically speaking as i can no longer go to either) for me it depends on what mood I'm in / what I want to do, how many people there are, the cleanliness, and the temperature.Plus side of a pool is generally not having to worry about rip tides and such (even small inland lakes can have currents. But some pools do have really strong filters. : / )Advantage of a beach is being out in nature, finding neat stones/shells/creatures to look at, the beachy smells in the air. (among some of the first things that come to mind of my favorite things about beaches - gull cries, loon calls, pumpkinseed sun fish, and near shore button strawberries. The sunfish are soooo pretty! I have no idea why I've never met anyone who likes them.)

Sea\river waters, no pool.

nerdbear • 6 February 2023 at 3:19 PM
The beach is just more fun overall. π
aoiegg • 6 February 2023 at 5:36 PM
Neither preferably, but probably the beach if forced to choose- there's a lot more activities that can be done there as well
stormdragonxi • 6 February 2023 at 9:21 PM
Beach sounds more relaxing... Pools are too crowded.
wonder404exe • 6 February 2023 at 9:27 PM
Pool. I got sunburn on the beach ;_; and the sand is just UGH clams and shells are nice
saturna • 6 February 2023 at 11:09 PM
Depends on my mood probably-- Beach gets a slight edge since shell-searching is a lot of fun

deshee • 7 February 2023 at 12:20 AM
I don't particularly like the beach because I'm afraid of sharks, but I do like to build sandcastles.
calenlass • 7 February 2023 at 12:56 AM
The beach, definitely.
jazzanna • 8 February 2023 at 12:32 AM
The beach! I don't get there nearly often enough.
mzpanda • 8 February 2023 at 7:39 AM
I;ll take the pool..
sunflxwer03 • 8 February 2023 at 9:15 AM
a lot of these comments are making me rethink my decisions..
hikanu • 8 February 2023 at 7:26 PM
Depends on my intentions, where I am (at home or on vacation mainly), the time of year, and the company I keep. I do find myself on the beach more often than at the swimming pools, though. Mom and I like looking for pretty or unusual rocks while dad tries finding fossils or big sea shells. I don't understand the concept of sunbathing. XD
amelialightwing • 8 February 2023 at 9:35 PM
I like pool more
tortoise • 8 February 2023 at 10:08 PM
I prefer the pool since I donβt like the feeling of sand on me and the water can pull you in too deep. The beach is more relaxing but pools are nice because you can just float around in a still body of water. π
nanami • 13 February 2023 at 4:56 PM
Team Beach π
soupcan • 16 February 2023 at 12:41 PM
gotta be the beach, always cool stuff to find in tide pools and the waves are the best!
platypup • 18 February 2023 at 2:50 AM
I always want to find cool shells at the beach
pauloacacio • 14 July 2023 at 6:10 AM
None of them.
mindassala • 14 July 2023 at 7:09 AM
Beach! There's nothing like the sound of the waves breaking on the shore. π
musical_slytherclaw • 14 August 2023 at 2:10 PM
I'll have to pick the beach. I love the ocean and I've always wanted to picnic on a beach with some friends. ^-^
provo7demons • 15 August 2023 at 10:03 AM
I prefer the beach, especially ones where the water's clear because I love looking at all the fish π
heatherm19 • 17 August 2023 at 8:26 PM
Neither, nowadays, but it was definitely beach when I was younger. I grew up close to the ocean and especially in the summer my parents would take me to the beach a lot. Like, multiple times a week in the summer. We would spend all day there, with a cooler of snacks and big beach towels... I came face to face with a seal underwater once. There was a small cave that my dad and I used to explore. I went to the pool a lot too, but I have more good memories of the beach.

The beach is wonderful, but I prefer to swim in my own pool. Nothing in there wants to eat me.
