@bluewolf Since the update I have not had gobblers appear back to back. It takes a few minutes before I see another gobbler

@icecream Dang, I see. When I saw the update I thought it only meant that we couldn't go more than 3 minutes without seeing one. Didn't realize that it'd affect the overall rate that they appear. :/ Guess I can start opening more than 5 creature tabs at a time for feeding lol

@kleineprinz It is not only you. I already fed hundreds of eggs and creatures today and found four (!) gobblers.

Yesterday the game was fun but today I've fed for over an hour this morning and found only about 5 gobblers. I can't afford to spend my time like that unfortunately. Which I am bummed about because I was really enjoying the game.

@kediset I noticed too. I go to the game from time to time to catch one... I don't bother feeding lots of creatures anymore because I can't find anything that way. @alraune3 @jazzanna Courage to find the few Gobbers who point the tip of the nose

Found about 20 gobblers today. Only finding about 1/60-100 feeds (even zoomed out to see whole page.) (Only found 3 in half hour of feeding last night.) Better luck on other pages as I do other things around the site. Still, no plans to stop feeding hungry creatures.

This suddenly got a lot more boring ☹️ I keep forgetting to look for them because the waiting between gobblers means I get quickly distracted by other things. Found like.. 3 today >.<

this year its very hard to find any gobblers,i search everywhere and there is nothing.

I'm so confused how people are going so long without seeing a Gobbler. Supposedly one will show up no more than 3 minutes apart, so it seems like a lot of people are just not seeing the ones that show up. Feeding for 1 hour should give you at least 20 Gobblers, you just need to--

- look for them. From my experience, I've been getting plenty of Gobblers because I check full pages and know roughly what time frame. I'm sure I have an advantage by being able to play for hours at a time, but I can't be the only one happy about this change, am I?

@heatherm19 logically speaking I'm *for* this change as it just makes sense... But personally I'm not even finding it as fun. My brain isn't getting that endorphin rush, and it's draining having the long wait between them. - I just have to adjust to not expecting them. ...

@heatherm19 ...still, it's a positive trade-off for not having to be glued to the site for hours on end searching for them. (Lots to do IRL, including tending to some sick *REAL* animals.)

The technique for finding Gooblers has now changed from opening several pages to just having one small page (ie; Leila Oasis) open and refreshing it every minute haha... I do think there should be more winners or you get the creature after reaching a specific amount of Gobblers.

@valorie100 They're about 1/4 the size of a regular gobbler, not transparent, and do a little jiggle when they first pop up on a page.

@hinokazes I remember he said that too, but since the update I have never had a gobbler appear just a few seconds after the last one. It usually takes around 2-3 minutes between gobblers for me. Sometimes as little as 1.5 minutes, but that’s rare for me

@icecream tbh I have a low amount of gobblers because for now I don't search after them, so I just get one time to time when I think of checking to try in the cave. Can take me more than 1 hour to think doing that :') So I can't say if I have trouble or not currently

@elluwah Yeah, if has. When 1st started, ppl went "waaa, too small, can't see". Then turkey got bigger and it was "waaa, still can't see, waaa got RL so not much time but no fair, oth ppl catching so many". So now, a wheel comes around and drops 1 on everyone's page every...

... 1-3 mins. No need to make any effort and get any kind of satisfaction from accomplishing a good hunt. We just look when we remember and if it's there, great, if it's not, next round, babe.

@hinokazes They aren't showing as often for me anymore either. And I'm yet to find any on the Found or No Gobbler page since the cooldown started (a noticeable amount of mine came from the No Gobbler page after multiple tabs opened). The thrill isn't there as much for me anymore.

They definitely appear significantly less frequently. ☹️ Yesterday I was probably finding on average 1 gobbler for every 15-20 feeds. I just finished feeding over 800 creatures and collected 6 gobblers total the entire time.

@bluewolf @minnie298a They are appearing much less frequently for me too. There is a lot of waiting between gobblers and it's not as fun anymore in my opinion ☹️

@icecream I agree, it's not as fun anymore (imo). I feel really bad saying that because I know that the update was made with accessibility in mind, with the goal of everyone having a more equal shot at getting on the leaderboard. I think its had the opposite effect though.

Random stats - Over 4 1/2 hrs, I feed 3885 creatures (cleared the XC) for 389K ec and 55 gobblers. As I opened 32 tabs at once I also got 37 "No Gobbler here" doubles. So I gained 1 gobbler for every 70 feeds, but could have gotten one for every 42 feeds by opening separately.

@icecream Definitely slower, and I'm OK with that as the collection is different. Feeding in general is slower for me in Nov due to hunting. The closest I can find from my Oct notes (I don't take them every day) was 831 seeds from 3761 feeds, or 4.52 feeds per seed.

I've just realized a mistake. It was 2 1/2 hours not 4 to clear the XC. My notes say I started at 12.15am ECT and finished 4.45pm my time. Midnight ECT is 2pm my time. So to repeat something I've said before - Time zones are confusing.

@minnie298a Why don't you just use that clock on the EG page? It shows EG time so you don't have to trouble youself to calculate the time diff.

@calenlass I did use Egg Cave time the first time I wrote down the time. Used my local computer time the second time as I wondered off to cook dinner. Hence why 12.15 AM and 4.45 PM where only 2 1/2 hours apart in my notes and I needed to convert that.

Is Gobblers is not appear on phone's web browser? I can sit long at my PC cause my work so I try to find some with my phone but the Gobblers is no where to find

I don't know about the phone thing, but i do know that finding Gobblers this year on smaller tablets is a P.I.T.B. since Android no longer allows zooming out ( can only make text smaller.) They're there, but you can only see a small fraction of the page at a time.

@icecream @amysnow are you both only using mobile for the duration that you are both mentioning? And scrolling through the whole page, not just the top area. The Gobblers are not like Easter Eggs and can appear on non-white surfaces. Gobblers can also appear over advertisements.

@icecream @amysnow if the above does not help, please consider making a forum thread about this if this continues as this is very abnormal behaviour. There shouldn't be any differences between PC and mobile and if there is, this difference needs to be highlighted.

@mastergemma I mostly play on my laptop and can find gobblers about every 2-3 min that way. But the times I have tried on my phone I can't find them even when I look at the whole page. I just tried on my phone again; even when I wait for 3 minutes and check there is no gobbler :/

@mastergemma I scroll all the way, maybe I will test a litte more. Because it's does appear, like 1 time a day when I fisrt log in by my phone, but can't find any other. If it on my PC at home, there is 1 after 1 or 2 mins but not for phone' web

Personally, I prefer the update. I didn't want to do the event, because switching to F5 a page isn't fun. But knowing that a turkey will arrive every 1 to 3 minutes is more pleasant.

In one day I caught enough to go in the ranking, while I had only had 5 or 6 in 3 full days. I find the game more motivating this way. Thanks for the change ^^

Personally don't mind the change. I still find Gobblers whilst feeding and browsing, and that's all that really matters to me.

after the recent change I've been getting about 1 gobbler every 10-20 eggs fed which isn't too bad imo, I'm also a very distracted clicker and not on very much every day but trying to cling on to the bottom of the rankings 😃
