Earth Day is a special day to bring our focus back to environmental conservation and responsible use of our beautiful planet. We encourage our Egg Cave users to support charities online.
This brand-new creature, the Erthona, will be available in the Cave through April 25 at 11:59 PM ECT. After that, it will go on sale in the Cash Shop Park. When it does, Egg Cave will donate 25% of the total sales for the Erthona to the Earth Day Network. You can find more information about the Earth Day Network at earthday.org.

@prairie well...i guess you shouldn't be mad....but i do say the description was a bit plain if i come across one of these creatures, i would put my CDWC in it's profile. i'm kinda disappointed, though @thedarkarcher

@icecloud101 haha sorry got a bit too annoyed their it just feels a little unfair that they was a lot of people who put effort and time into doing it to turn out no one won. I dont mind the description is very current with whats happening with plastic waste in oceans.

Although I guess it was pretty unorthodox for them to just scrap the CDWC completely, ultimately it still is their decision and the creature they paid for someone to draw and design so I guess it’s fair for Eggcave to implement some real life activism into the Erthona to tell us-

This appears to have just been an oversight rather than any malicious intent to undermine the hard work of our users who had entered the CDCW. Please be understanding and try not to hold too much of a grudge. I'm currently looking into the matter.

@jello Technically, I suppose not... though I am still unsure what will become of this mishap since weekends are generally quiet in terms of site maintenance, so it might be delayed til tomorrow (Monday).
