It's back! Egg Cave's annual Easter Egg Hunt is on! Find the 30 eggs that have been hidden around Egg Cave to receive your prize of 1 creature (the Alleniwer) and 4 indestructible toy items (Egg Painting Kits).
Easter eggs will looking something like this: (and be clickable). They can appear on anywhere on any pages of Egg Cave. When you see one on the page, click on it to claim it.
The Easter Egg Hunt will be open today through April 21 at 11:59 PM ECT.
We'll be honest: we have made the Easter Egg Hunt more challenging than ever before this year. Eggs will become more difficult to find the closer you get to finishing. Don't stress if you don't find them all in a day — it might take a few! We hope you're up for the challenge!
To balance ourselves out though, we have also made another change that we think you'll like a lot: once you successfully click on and collect a hidden easter egg, you will not see the same easter egg displayed again. In other words, you will never receive a "you have already collected this egg!" message like in years past. Every time you see a hidden egg, it will always be a new one.
Easter eggs are hidden in different places for each user, so there isn't any use in sharing where you found them with others. Their locations and links are unique to your account and are completely randomized.
You are permitted to find Easter Eggs on any of your main and side accounts; however, you are only allowed to claim your Easter Egg Hunt prize on your main account. Abusing multiple accounts to get multiple Alleniwer creatures is not allowed.

I agree w/the "not liking this event". I havent even tried to find the eggs when I read the blog & saw how small the eggs r. Really!? Have enough eye strain on laptop already...Dont need anymore here. Not gonna play this event much at all. Sry @Ian ☹️ Not "my" favorite.

I didn't think they were much smaller than previous years. They do appear to be more pastel in colour (looking more like a spot on my dirty screen), and with the no repeats, seem rarer, but I haven't noticed much difference in the size. But that may be my memory playing tricks.

Something that is not only awfully small, but also light grey is very hard to spot for someone with a visual impairment like me

I found already 14 eggs in an hour and half just by feeding... It's not that hard at all, and there are enough days to get them all without struggling. Just arm yourself with a bit of patience!

From looking through the comments, I'm guessing that the eggs are much harder to see than the previous years (which seems to be a theme). This will definitely be fun with my awful eyesight and dull screen.

I always love the egghunt! These seem a little harder to find (only 2 so far), but since there is still so much time left, I'm not worried yet. 😸

Alright. Call me crazy..... But I find it to be easier on mobile in a way. Just cause certain places have Smaller screen size.

The only good thing that's come out of this event so far is that I've thoroughly cleaned both of my computer monitors and phone screen. Otherwise? My eyes just hurt lol.

@foxbit I've found 3 refreshing the Thief Shop, just hitting the back button after each one. Haven't found a creature for sale in weeks though.

@calenlass All the ones I've found have been on the white near the top. TS/Oasis near titles, Archives near species name, feeding near species and forward/back arrows. Although I have given up scrolling, so that may influence that.

I was feeding and found an egg on one of my creature's profiles. Went back to continue feeding and the same egg popped up next to the creature's name, with the text being centered. tl;dr: Look for realigned texts on your creature's profiles, there might be an egg.

Advice: you need a lot of pattience, open the Thief shop page, enlarge at 200% and hit refresh about 200 times. Already found 6 eggs.

I was having such a hard time until I realized I leave EggCave zoomed out to 70% XD Bumped it up to 100% and suddenly things got much easier LOL

Oddly enough I've been able to consistently find eggs after leaving Egg Cave for 10-15min. The next page I visit nearly always had an egg on it. I usually go make it World Maps/Ark City so it's easy to spot

So far I've only found them in the white pages near the header, so that must be where they always are! Though no guarantees that I'd actually see them in the background because my eyes haha
