So, I thought I'd open a topic about this strange "bug" that seems to be occurring since yesterday.

When feeding creatures, very often the error "Ooops, there was a problem processing your request" (or something like that) pops up and the feed button is stuck on "loading&qu...

@lykhaos117

The forum was mad at you for not saying anything. 😈

so it's a site problem.. okay. ._.
thanks

I took that as a jocular remark, but I could be wrong...?
Quoted:
"This is really great you guys, I love reading the arguments back and forth because I don't really care either way. I'm mainly here for the community and such. However it has come to my attention that most of the users gunning f...

@dawnfur ya, we arent the only ones, its a site issue right now :/

yam • 1 August 2015 at 11:44 PM

I'm having the same thing happening to me. I thought it was a cache issue, but if it's happening to other people then it might be a site wide issue.

dawnfur • 1 August 2015 at 6:40 PM

@sugarsprig

i don't know about that.

Unless this was made and you had to buy it for each creature for cc, i don't think so.

Nobody would buy freezes anymore, and I don't think that would be good for the site.

jitters • 1 August 2015 at 5:55 PM

@yam

Im hoping to get one then, haha.

This site is so cool and creative ;u;

jitters • 1 August 2015 at 5:28 PM

Thanks! I'm really loving this site.

Hi, I'm giving this site another try since my sister @ami_utsukushii convinced me to come back. I'm going to put out some creature suggestions later so check them out please! I like gorillaz and Harry potter my house in Harry potter is SLYTHERIN. I've also been here since 2011 but I just got back on...

@mintyminny98
@ami_utsukushii

I like the idea ^-^

However I would suggest something a Little bit different (I do apologize if it's already said before I didn't see it T-T)

Once a year (Christmas time sounds nice 😸) you could ask for one of your dream creatures (by writing it in advent calendar...

@dragonnn

This is why some sort of manual account linking feature needs to be added. If your side account was linked to your main account with this new feature whenever you logged onto any of the accounts in the link it would register as you logged into all of them.

netherling • 30 July 2015 at 11:28 PM

@aquari
Some people are trying to find alternatives, I guess that's how it came up. The main points on both sides are:

Non-supporters: we spent a good amount of money on creatures and don't want that to be wasted.

Supporters: prices for creatures are super high and its harder to get them now bec...

I think Inactive accounts over 5 years should b purged it gives more than enough time for someone to at least check in. If a purge rule is going to b used everyone must follow it the rule can be updated through the site blog that way everyone knows what is going on. If the beasts are going to b rec...

netherling • 30 July 2015 at 10:51 PM

There are some people who quit who completely forgot about the site or forgot their passwords. Those people wouldn't come back because they can't. I lost access to my other account that way. Forgot the password and lost my last email account. If we did purge other accounts, the ones that need to be...

moopana • 30 July 2015 at 9:55 PM

An account purge seems like it would be okay FOR ALL FUTURE ACCOUNTS. (or people who are on past the point of implementing) People who have already stopped visiting did so under the assumption that their eggs would be kept. It'd be unfair to get rid of their creatures now. But all future people woul...

maleficent • 30 July 2015 at 9:26 PM

Egg Cave should be an active community. Dead accounts are not productive to gaming sites and why they purge.

Since Egg Cave is a gaming site using references about what works and does not work on other sites has merit. Vouchers, Items, Auctions, etc were done on other sites long before being implem...

@promise

I was going to say that myself. 😊 2 years seems more reasonable.

Although I can see a problem if someone spent like $500 on the site and just happened to come back and saw all of it gone. xD

@bluewolf

3 years seems even more reasonable. x3

jrtalon • 30 July 2015 at 8:03 PM

No, I definitely don't support re-releasing people bought these with the idea that they would be "retired forever" that's grossly unfair to people who supported this site by spending their hard earned money to get a creature that's suppose to be unique and special. Off course people who...

@murdermansion

It's so cuuuteeee! Would you mind if I made a suggestion?

I know it'll be a hassle to redraw, but maybe have its different stages be in different poses? That seems to be the trend for most creatures on site. I can tell it's maturing, but other than turning around it's sitting in the...

@kollais
I mean, the population of users is growing and the population of certain creatures is dwindling... No one is saying do the April Fools joke again but real this time. No one wants that. People just want a chance to get these creatures at a reasonable price. So yeah, you're right.

Everyone...

kollais • 30 July 2015 at 12:35 PM

First of all, I'd definitely say YES to re-realises.

I think we need it. Community is getting bigger, everyone is in love with Onny\Tine\Macbot etc., but we still have so little of them, while number of people, who want to have them is growing. My opinion is that re-realises are a good thing if imp...

raitonchidori • 30 July 2015 at 12:08 PM

@werewolf actually, an user account is only deleted when the user itself contacts the site asking so, except when the player doesn't respect the site rules.Anyway, I don't think users delet their accounts before they have already given away or send their creatures to other accounts. Then, I don't th...

Hello everyone!
As the topic title says I want to become an artist egg Cave 'cause I like to draw a lot !
I tried a couple of creature suggestion too and I really want to see creatures drawn by me on this site .

@despair

" We don't want to just get the same creature and it's all good. We don't want re-releases in the first place. "

That, to me, seems just like being close minded, actually.
Sorry for sounding rude but... well, I'll make an example.

Many users got their dream creatures worki...

@wererage

I totally agree with what maleficent said before.
Nobody forced people to pay so much for the creature they bought. They decided on their free will to spend money on it. They can't complain or blame the others who decided to make different choices If the market change.

As stated numero...
