This is a negative site, somewhat, but if you speak with people enough, it's a really nice and fun site. Or was. Things change.

jillianjil • 5 July 2012 at 5:16 PM

@iulianna1
OMG I swear that is one of the CUTEST ideas on the whole site EVER to exist!!!! 😸 😸 😸 😸 😸 😸 😸 😸 😸 😸

boxofcrayons • 5 July 2012 at 3:36 PM

@snow_angel618 It's blu eggs that are worth so much, but depending on the person the offer will vary. That's the thing with this site, there are no really definite values, because each person has such different tastes.

@harrypotter123698 Yep Thats what I was trying to say 😊. Can ya sign me up for that item raffle?

cubexline • 5 July 2012 at 2:56 PM

@chowchow2012: I love love love word games(I play on this one site that has boggle, word whomp and tumble bees, all three really fun word games).

twilight_raptor • 5 July 2012 at 12:37 PM

And about the posting your profile link on a site, do you get 1 point per day for posting on a site each day or is it just one point for posting on that site throughout the whole contest?

@phalen I wont win, because I only know one site xD But yeah, Ill help

Deleted • 5 July 2012 at 3:05 AM

@mika_milile - pls dont advertise your topics in mine, and i will keep count myself

@vanilla - no - all counts start today in this thread

@sunshinecat - i said one point PER SITE - not multiple postings on same site.

sunshinecat • 5 July 2012 at 2:58 AM

@phalen Fed list.

I can use BB code to immortalize. But the multiple site rule seems a bit...strange, since you could just post it on any random site which doesn't get that many views and if it's posted on the same site multiple views from the same people don't count o-o

@infinity99

Quote from Meteoroid:

"The 'Terms of Service' for the Egg Cave mentions that "All Cash Shop Park items are property of Egg Cave and cannot be sold for other currencies outside of Egg Cave."

I do not believe it extends into more detail on the matter, but I assume that th...

@huari

Welcome to Eggcave! You'll love being on this site, I know you will 😊 You can add me if you want, or trade some eggs with me, i have a few on my profile 😊

huari • 4 July 2012 at 11:36 PM

Hi everyone, my name is Huari and I'm only minutes old on this site and I'm already very fond of it. I'm hoping to get to know people around here and get into the swing of things here, and this seems like a good way to get started!

If anyone has some tips about things they would recommend doing, I...

whispers • 4 July 2012 at 10:34 PM

CC has ruined my experience. I can't trade anymore with just my creatures. It's annoying. I apparently have to have CC to get my dream cove. When my parents won't allow me to get CC, it's hard ☹️

Everybody's all "CC this..." "CC that..." I just wish it would stop!
And I know Ia...

bunnyshadow • 4 July 2012 at 9:31 PM

I've seen it on a few other sites. I think it would make the site funner, and it could get rid of many complainers. You should be able to earn 1 Cavecash by referring one person to join the site. The requirements to get the Cavecash will be listed here.

To get the CC:
1) The referred person must ha...

april__ • 4 July 2012 at 9:22 PM

@whispers

But maybe writing related, maybe.

Though it would take a lot of time and effort. I guess if the site gets bigger, Ian can have more people working on the site.

Then maybe we could have a poetry competition about creatures on the site, or even short stories or something.

whispers • 4 July 2012 at 8:55 PM

I don't think this is a good idea. Many people who buy CC may stop to save up. And Ian may run out of money to keep the site up. He has to pay for us to have this place ^^;

balletninja • 4 July 2012 at 8:48 PM

Eek. Bad idea.

Weeworld does this and there are a TON of scams. I vote no. It really just brings down the site's reputation.

I mean I am all for easier ways to get CC seeing as it is like the ONLY way to get pets on here but this is only good in theory.

icymuffin • 4 July 2012 at 8:39 PM

I really like the site itself & how "small" it is. That's why I stayed.

I love the peeps here.
Though I don't deny some I'd rather not have to see again ^^"

I also love the laid-back "atmosphere" & how everyone isn't as whiny or aggressive as on other sites [those...

cubexline • 4 July 2012 at 8:39 PM

My favorite thing about eggcave is the creatures and nice users 😊 I 99% like what Ian gives us and stuff. So far nothing about this site turns me off, just the negativity, but I ignore that as much as I can. I just wish he would tell us when CRW starts, I love that event! xD

april__ • 4 July 2012 at 8:09 PM

Personally, once I get CC creatures, or CC I will only be trading for CC but that's because of how hard it is to get. But if I do have extra, I do hope to gift to some users that can't get it.

Honestly, I would buy CC in a heart beat if there was a different way to buy it.

I hope Ian gets there...

april__ • 4 July 2012 at 8:03 PM

@conrad

I really hope you don't quit.

While I agree there is some negativity, hence my attempt at a positive topic, there is also a lot of nice people on here that are very grateful to Ian for the site.

(And dang, I keep writing Iain because that's how my dad's name is spelt before respelling i...

jazzyleia • 4 July 2012 at 8:02 PM

@conrad

I agree...I am not to the point of quitting but it bugs me that people just have to say all these negative things about Ian and this site.

conrad • 4 July 2012 at 8:00 PM

This isn't a 'please don't quit' or whatever thread. No one here knows me. Aside from a couple people I spoke to briefly.

My question is... Why is there so much negativity on here?

I came on here, after being told this was a 'happy' site but all I've come across since I came here has been negative...

Im sure there was a more polite way to put this :/
Maybe he forgot that he said that, its only the 2nd time its being released, and I wasnt here last year and i think its great that I have a chance to get it.
He made this site, and he's done so much to keep it up and try to adjust the sit...

april__ • 4 July 2012 at 7:56 PM

@whispers

Was it ever specified when it was released it would only ever be one time thing? Or did people just assume?

It could be the type of creature that is released annually.

Besides, I was able to get one a month ago, before I gave it to a friend for 250k. That's not much at all.

I really t...

april__ • 4 July 2012 at 7:53 PM

I've seen way too much negativity lately. Way too much. About the Chocob re draw, about the 4th of July. And I hope you guys understand how much effort Ian and the other site creators must put into this site.

I've accepted that you can't make everyone happy, ever, but...

It makes me sad, and has...

balletninja • 4 July 2012 at 7:08 PM

Okay so CC trading has seemed to become the only trading around here. More recent Cave LEs are thrown out like trash in the trading business and if you do put a lot out with LEs alone for a CC pet, it barely gets good offers.

It is really disappointing, a while back I decided I would no longer buy...

@Darcy
Finally! A user who understands my arguments without saying "Well this is blah blah blah, and you're SO wrong about that because blah blah blah and I don't agree I mean people should trade the whole site is about trading if you didn't trade you wouldn't have any of your creatures and the...

christened_moon • 4 July 2012 at 6:42 PM

I also have an immortal, LE storage that I use. I can't say I put a lot of work into it, but I did put a decent amount. Considering I'm a college student, I do go months without getting on. Instead of just getting rid of immortals though, why not eventually up the ante a bit? Like, eventually making...
