@pendulum: I just noticed it now a bit more 😋 And congrats on the position 😊 Let me know when it opens, I might give it a shot for fun, what kind of site will it be?

pendulum • 24 June 2012 at 6:33 PM

@cubexline

Yes. I agree with it, but I also might add in if I may...

That Egg Cave has been turning a bit sour for a long time now. I thought this would be a loving, supportive community...but it really isn't. At least maybe EQUAL if not loving and supportive the way it was when it was developing....

@bunnyshadow

That's what I mean. You don't have to.

A jersey number, time zone, and other small things you may not realize can be dangerous.

Any ways, I'm done with this topic. It's not my business. I know I'll not be allowing my cousin on this site to post their picture, and that's about all I...

I'm new to this site, and I've found this through a link on another website that I visited daily so I figured why not? eggcave seems a fun web-based game, and can you guys help me out with clicking my pets? creature? So yeah, help me please ; )

ade323 • 24 June 2012 at 5:29 AM

I've read this over and over, and decided to give my opinion.

What people don't understand is that Eggcave is not the place to let off some steam. Yes, freedom of speech and all, but there is a time and place for everything, and Eggcave is not the right place to do it.

May I remind people that Eg...

Honestly, this is one of my fave music groups. They make such good songs! They have a ton, but here are two I just simply feel in love with!

armageddondoll • 24 June 2012 at 2:05 AM

More than 15% of the Internet is primarily pedophiles and other bad characters. All of which can take a single picture from the net and build an entire persona out of it to lure someone into thinking that they are a 16 year old who goes to such and such a school, does whatever hobbies and sports etc...

@dearprincess: Welcome 😊 If you have any questions, you can ask me 😊 I'm sure you'll love this site, it has some very cool and pretty creatures to adopt 😊

hay7199 • 24 June 2012 at 12:04 AM

@jaidyn I used to be Emo when I was like 8. I dressed in black clothes and put on ALOT of eyeliner and mascara. I cut myself alot. Then a few years later I joined this site and that picture was taken after I stoped being Emo. I can still see a scar on my arm....

Alright. I meant like the feature of hiding rant threads or having the option. That could possibly take time to implement on the site as a whole?

I didn't mean adding a thread meant for rants sirs and madams. xD That would be easy. ;p

just_peachy • 23 June 2012 at 11:26 PM

Hi, I'm Peach! It's nice to meet you!

So, this roleplay isn't on this site, but if you go over here:

http://www.neopets.com/~not_a_praying_mantis
(don't worry it's not on neo either)

then you will find a page explaining all the details and telling you where to go.

You can just send the applicat...

pendulum • 23 June 2012 at 11:23 PM

@stellalunagirl I understand that.

But for now, I am sure it would be a long and tedious feature to even think about implementing or maybe it's not?

All I am saying is for now, wouldn't it be easier to just try to ignore it? 😱

pendulum • 23 June 2012 at 11:07 PM

@james-bond I have read it. Through and through but what people have said I am replying to.

The topic has gone astray as it is.

Again, once again, I will always say in my opinion which is not to make anyone mad, if people don't want to see or reply to it, then don't. As far as I am concerned, ther...

balletninja • 23 June 2012 at 10:59 PM

@mewlynnmagic More like a person face palming their keyboard.

I don't want to get nit-picky though. I would give examples but I might be thrown off the site >.> But "Omg" is fine, and a few others that I would maybe get banned for saying.

Maybe it does justify cussing if you use ab...

pendulum • 23 June 2012 at 10:58 PM

Yes. In any discussion, generalizations will be made. YES, I agree some rants will warrant attention, but is it NEGATIVE attention?

No.

We're all here for the same purpose and that's because we like Egg Cave and the community and we SHOULD all care for one another. ❤️

And this is an online com...

pendulum • 23 June 2012 at 10:54 PM

I think that rants belong in non related Egg Cave forums. @james-bond

I mean, I have ranted, and seen many many users get help from "ranting". They formed bonds with people just because someone lent their time and advice on any situation that was going on. In my utmost personal opinion, t...

mewlynnmagic • 23 June 2012 at 10:54 PM

@whispers

Exactly ._.

And I see people it these 'rants' saying cuss words. REAL ONES. but they got thrown off the site. "^%$^#$^@$#%" stands for a cuss word, right?

pendulum • 23 June 2012 at 10:50 PM

@james-bond

For a person that reads a criminal justice book (being me because that's what I do when I get really bored) getting arrested for busting into a rant to some stranger is not entirely justified.

However, you will get strange reactions, looks, or however a person will deal with that.

And...

whispers • 23 June 2012 at 10:32 PM

@cubexline
IKR! o.o And the site doesn't ban the users for it...

whispers • 23 June 2012 at 10:27 PM

@cubexline
Yeah >_>
And that one site is for like 5 year olds >_>
And sometimes I let my little sister go on my acc to play around since she's not old enough to get one, and I won't let her get on anymore because of it

cubexline • 23 June 2012 at 10:25 PM

@whispers: I see that too on another site I use, I won't cite examples 😋 I understand the whole freedom of speech thing, but not on a kids/pg site where younger kids can get in trouble because of someone else cursing or something.

whispers • 23 June 2012 at 10:23 PM

@cubexline
Yeah. It's like, they replace 1 or 2 letters, and you can sitll tell what the word is. On another site people were misspelling the word with letters that still make it sound like the word. I hope that doesn't start on here ☹️

james-bond • 23 June 2012 at 9:31 PM

@dionaea You say welcome to the real world. A) This is a virtual site. B) People act differently on the internet than they do in RL. This is a suggestion, which can be used to make egg cave a better place. I think egg cave would be a better place without rants, and for some reason people think rants...

dearprincess • 23 June 2012 at 7:58 PM

Hullo random people that will see this topic~ So... I'm an avid player on Transformice and have several dragons on DragCave. I like to crochet (and no, I'm not 100000000000 years old, okay?). I'm interested in click to grow pet sites like this~ XD that's basically all you guys need to know about me....

pendulum • 23 June 2012 at 7:37 PM

I disagree. Er, I think maybe in the future more alien based creatures should be added to be able to get.

However, I am not saying to "retire" the first 3 creatures. Additionally, I think the "chances" of getting a creature even when new ones are added shouldn't be improved. I t...
