Cloud bit her lip, hesitant, as the battle began to start. The ref, dressed in black and white stripes, gave the signal for sending out Pokemon. Suddenly, it was as if everything was black and white, like his stripes, flashing. The world was spinning and coming towards her like a frenzied kaleidoscope, all of the colors muddling into a pool of black and white.

Cloud stumbled down towards the front row of the arena, clutching her head in one hand. Putting her other hand on the gate of the arena for support, Cloud breathed deeply to herself, trying not to hyperventilate.

"Don't be nervous we got this!" Cody smiled with a thumbs up.

"Swampert,Ice beam on Roserade now!"
Daniel commanded.
Swampert arched his back and launched a hard ice beam toward Roserade.

Pokemon emerged in blinding flashes of light, adding to the mess in Cloud's mind. The Pokemon's cries merged into one muddled sound, a mix of charming coos and ferocious growls. They were flooding Cloud, succumbing her in the overwhelming sounds and colors.

"No, it's too much..."

Cloud mumbled, her feet stumbling as her mind's commands were drowned out by the seemingly defening cries of the Pokemn as her legs quaked and shivered.

"Too much, stop, STOP, STOP!"

Cloud shouted to herself, the words only blending with the confusing messages sent by her senses.

Bella noticed Roserade helplessly trying to dodge an ice beam,
"Milotic! Protect on Roserade and yourself quick!"

"Meelllooo" Milotic Swiftly came over to Roserade's assistance although slightly being hit by ice beam in the process, Milotic rapped its majestic tail around the flower pokemon and sweetly waving it's tail side to side causing a wall of green light and a calming aura which Milotic also aimed at Cloud in the stands as if telling her "it's alright." in a sweet lullaby.

Cody's eyes widened as too attacks headed straight for Roserade ,Roserade was slightly hit by fire blast when Bella's amazing Milotic came to the rescue using protect causing the audience to ooo and Ahh.

"Thanks Bella, Roserade close combat on Swampert now!"
Roserade broke through the green shield and gave a ferrous Close combat toward Swampert.

Mixed feelings arose in Cloud's mind, yet they were all soothed and pushed into a deep, quiet corner of her mind, locked in the strong gates of confidence. Gingerly, Cloud breathed in air, calm, cool, quiet air. The calls and sounds of Pokemon were dulled, and she could breathe.

Umbreon shot a look of approval at the Milotic in the battle arena, rushing over to Cloud's side and giving her a reassuring nuzzle as she leaned over, almost collapsing against the wall.

"Swa---pert!" Swampert cried out in pain as Roserade furiously swatted at Swampert."
Daniel gave his signature smirk and pointed toward Roserade,
"Swampert, hammer arm now!"Daniel shouted.

Bell a looked toward the stands where Cloud was, Bella gave her a quick reassuring smile to comfort her and the turned back to Milotic.
"Milotic,dragon tail on Ninetails!"Bella knew her best chance was to knock the quick Ninetails off it's feet.

"Alright Roserade!"Cody shoutted as Roserade furiously kicked and punched at Swampert
"Roseeeeiii!"Roserade cried out being thrusted in the air.
Roserade caught herself from falling with a rough kneeling landing.
"Roserade use petal dance on Swampert now!"Cody shouted

"Roseei."Roserade replied sprinting around Swampert letting petals flutter around him.
Roserade sprinted away from Swampert and stuck out one arm "Roserade!" Roserade shouted,all of a sudden the petals came razor sharp down on helpless Swampert.

"Oh no,this is bad.."Daniel was thinking to himself for he could not say it, he was known for staying calm in these situations!
"Swaaamp!"Swampert cried from the critical hit.
Daniel sighed as he noticed Swampert couldn't go for much longer,
"Swampert Focus blast on Roserade now!"Daniel commanded

Swampert nodded and started to charge his Focus blast.

Bella looked nervously as the quick Ninetails jumped into the air, gosh was that pokemon quick.
"Oh I know! Milotic use Waterpulse on Ninetails now!"Bella shouted at Milotic. This would be a good move since Ninetails was in midair and vulnerable from dodging dragon tail.
"Mylotic."Milotic swiftly lauched herself at Ninetails in midair now rushing at it with a powerful jet like water pulse.

Hey, maybe you could make a rule that you can RP for your partner when they're offline JUST for the battling portions? I think that'd be helpful.

Rai-Rai was looking worriedly at Cloud, not even looking at the battle.
Even Tran (Ditto) had awoken from his spot on Crystal's hat to look at the girl.

Cloud mumbled, struggling to her feet. She was too exhausted to be greatful for Crystal's help right then, which she definetly was thankful. Clutching tightly onto one of the gates of the arena, her knuckles turned white and her cheeks redenned as she finally managed to stand up.

"Really, I'm fine. I guess I just need... Er, something to eat."

Cloud said, this time with confidence in her words as she gave Crystal what she hoped was both a reassuring and thankful smile. Skarmory flew over from her seat eating the cotton candy she stole from the man and held Cloud up by her jacket straps.

Crystal raised an eyebrow, know Cloud was lying, considering she had been shouting, "Stop, stop!" towards the Pokemon battle.
Crystal didn't bug her about it though.
BZZT. BZZT.
Crystal looked down at the commincator strapped to her belt.
"Sorry, that's my Pokegear. Better take it." Crystal lied. "Watch Rai-Rai for me, okay?"
Crystal quickly went to take the call in the less crowded hallways outside of the Arena.

"Ok let's fight fire with fire, Roserade solar beam on Swampert now!"Cody called

"Rosei." Roserade replied now charging a solar beam that would coincidently hit the same time as Swampert's focus blast.

Stevan was looking at the colliding focus blast and solar beam. as they collided a fog rose over the field, which was perfect for ninetales.

"Ninetales! This is our time to shine! Use Dig!" Ninetales dug into the ground, looking for vibrations to know where the pokemon is staning above him.
