"Bella make sure milotic is careful, Ninetails just use dig." He warned his partner.

"Swamp!!" Swampert unleashed his Focus Blast at Cody's Roserade.
The field became covered in dust,in till it cleared and Ninetails had disappeared.

"Swamperttt!"Swampert fell to the ground fainted the solar beam had been a critical hit on him.

"Alright Roserade!" Cody cheered for the pokemon.
When the dust cloud had cleared Roserade can to another rough landing.
"Rose.."Roserade winced and fell over ,She had been majorly hurt.
"Good job Roserade you did good." Cody said returning his pokemon.

The fighting pokemon jumped out and had a swift entrance.

Meanwhile Milotic continued to slither around the field.

Daniel sighed and returned Swampert with a grateful smile.
"Let's go Flygon!"
"Use dragon claw on Lucario!"Daniel commanded at Flygon who replied with a small nod.
Flygon took to the sky and swooped down toward Lucario using dragon claw.

Milotic came to a halt waiting for the Ninetails to come to the surface where Milotic would for surely hit it with a hard Jet like Water pulse.

"Myooo.." Milotic called saying she could feel the vibrations underneath.

"Haha, Bella you're a fool! You know this Ninetales, we've practiced! Lets use one of our best elements...surprise!" The ninetales, as quick as lightning, stopped aiming for the Milotic and instead quickly came out of the ground. Stevan was hoping it would hurt the Flygon

@silver_winger first of all i wasn't controlling the other character. you said we can't control the character, and i interpreted it to mean person. second of all, i wasn't actually controlling pokemon either, I was controlling the hit, which I said hit the Lucario. Maybe it just looked like it was hitting by an effect but it actually wasn't, it's all up to Cody.

Now you said pokemon. different things, and I wasn't even telling the Lucario what to do.

Pokemon are characters, too. They think and act and are controlled by the roleplayer of the character that owns them. In other words, they're not NPCs, and they belong to one specific person.

The decision of whether or not an attack hits, then, is the decision of that one specific person. It is also their place and their place only to say how much damage a Pokemon has accumulated.

This system places a lot of faith in the individual roleplayers to be reasonable about attacks hitting or not hitting. It's not perfect, but I believe it to be fair. This is just how I run my roleplays.

I agree ,I love the way you run this role-play and just look at @Cody and @cinder , Cody's Roserade didn't havento faint but he made it to make the battle more interesting 😸
Also soooo,did Milotic hit Ninetails? *bella has an anime sweat drop* "Akward..." hehe

WOW! NVRMIND! (saw circus left) Sooo do me,Daniel,and Cody end the battle and move on? I'm fine giving up my spot in the competition to Cody and Daniel so they can move one to the second round, since I'll be in the pokemon contest also 😊😊

"Well I guess im good at Battling but it's just not my thing, tell you what,I'll give you my spot,one on condition STOP. CALLING. ME. PESKY."Bella snapped while holding Misty's Mallet. (hehe I luv myself a mallet)
"Anyways good luck in the competition you two!" Bella perked up again happily giving Daniel and Cody a group hug.

Okay, we'll say that they all talked it out with the tournament administration. XD Stevan forfeited (for a reason I shall soon come up with), which would automatically push Bella and Cody forward, but she steps up and gives her spot to Daniel. Not sure how it's "legal", but whatever. X3

Moving forward to round two!

Could all the characters still participating move into the hall by the arenas? Thank you!

After the group hug Bella let go and then stopped Cody
"Oh ya! And because I gave up my spot for you and Daniel, YOU BETTER WIN THIS WHOLE DANG THING!"Bella fiercely and firey snapped suddenly at Cody
"Got that?hehe!"Bella suddenly was her old cheery self again as she winked at Cody and walked away.

Cody walked up toward Daniel and Bella as she pulled out a mallet and looked like she was going to smash Daniel,
"Hey thanks for saving my pokemon out there your a good trainer!"Cody called toward Bella who explained she was giving up her spot, and then gave a tight group hug,once she let go, she turned towards Cody and her emotions switched from cheery to frightening as she told him he had to win.
"Ok!ok! Ill try my hardest! please don't use the mallet!!!" Cody begged frightened.
Suddenly Bella was back to her normal mood and skipped off
toward the hall with the other trainers.
Cody sighed thank god that was over!
He followed Bella into the hall.

Margot turned to look at the TV as it began making noise. It had been silent for a while--something had happened with one of the competitors that the announcers didn't seem to want to tell the crowd. As the announcer's cheery voice resumed, however, it seemed that they had reached a decision. "We apologize for the, er, technical difficulties," the man recited (clearly from a teleprompter), shuffling his papers. "However, we can now announce that the two trainers moving on from arena 1 are Cody Griffin and Daniel Kingsley! Congratulations, these two trainers will be moving onto round two." As the announcer began to talk about some of the other battles currently going on, Margot's attention waned. She strolled away from the couches and looked down the hallway, searching for any familiar faces.

Bella walks over to the other trainers and friends, happily taking a seat, while watching the tv for details on her awesome half-battle.(lol)
"I wonder what and who the next battle will be against.."Bella asked everyone tilting her head sideways.

Garett couldn't help but be surprised. Bella, the one with the odd temperament, had given up her spot to let the other two pass, just because the other, Stevan, had forfeited.

"Now what kind of battle is going to be next?" Garett thought to himself.

Suddenly Bella had one of her mood swing yelling at Cody and Daniel,
"Yeesh! Come on Pes-...ky, like you think I won't win?"Daniel smirked as he watched Cody trembling and pleading.Suddenly he was suffocated in a group hug when Bella ran off,him annd Cody followed.

Garett waited patiently for the announcement of the next round. He couldn't help but envy the trainers who could easily let their Pokemon out of their Poke Balls and let them roam around a bit.

"I should get another Pokemon to add to my team," Garett thought.

Well, the first. Round battles are over ,and the semi finals are going to happen right now,the semi-finalist are Margot,Garett,Cody,and Daniel
And soon after the tournaments over,it's Christmas in sinnoh and we r going to have a party at the main hall or pokemon center,(idk 😋) but that's when we'll all give are poke-related secret Santa gifts 😃 , and after that the Pokemon contest will begin.😊😊😊
