Bella started to wake up
"Ouch my arm, thanks Cody ,-WAIT! IS IT GONE!??!"
Bell a looked around for the spinarak.
Bella sighed "Oh don't worry I carry around band aids!"Bella reached into her bag and pulled out a band aid with a Skitty pattern. ( 😸 gotta luv dem Skittys)
"So...what did I miss?"Bella asked a bit more brightly.

Cloud said to the dazed Bella that slowly began waking up, flashing a hopeful smile at the Ditto's trainer.

@pegasus - Crystal had already picked up her Ditto. It's on her head. A regular Ditto.

Crystal smiled at the Trainers. "Well, if they battle is going to start soon, I should get going to the stands." Crystal stated to her new aquaintices.

Bella shifted away from the ditto Spinarak.
"Yeah I do carry around band aids ,why? Do you need one?" Bella replied clueless and nicely to Daniel.
Bella looked around the room for the spider pokemon
"Wow I just realized how gorgeous this place is decorated!"
Looks at mistletoe "Aww. Aren't the holidays so romantic?" Bella said dreamily.

Cloud hesitated, not wanting to say the word that followed. But she had to, for Giselle, and for her own reputation. Being a champion coordinator's daughter was awful.

"-battling."

Cloud finished, gritting her teeth ever so slightly and giving her perfect smile, the smile she used when things were going a bit roughly, to her new friends. Well, not as much friends yet, more like... acquaintances?

Cloud decided to watch the Trainers, practicing containing her composure. She sat in a nice spot in the near front stands happily, trying to build herself a perky mood to ease the blow of fighting Pokemon. She waited for the massacre to start.

"Hey." Crystal said, taking a seat by Cloud. "I never caught your name? What was it again?"

Cloud turned to a girl who had taken the liberty to sit next to her. She couldn't remember her name, Cloud didn't know if the girl had introduced herself or not, but she did recognize her as the owner of the Spinarak/Ditto.

"Kumo Kimura, retired Coordinator, daughter of Murasaki Kimura. Call me Cloud."

Cloud introduced herself proudly, smiling at the girl amiably.

"And what might your name be?"

"Crystal Chance." she paused, momentaily forgeting her cover. Oh, yeah.
"Pokemon fanatic." she smirked. Ditto, who was still on her head, rolled his eyes.
So turned to watch the the trainers face off across teh arena.
"So, Cooridinator, huh?" Crystal asked, feeling a Pokeball on her belt shiver with anticpation upon seeing the arena.

"Retired."

Cloud corrected with a sly smile, leaning back on one of the other stands. Other audience members began to slowly trickle in, like a water faucet leaking drop by drop into the drain. Cloud tried not to wince as the Trainers in the arena drew their Pokeballs, getting ready to send their Pokemon to fight to the death- er, knockout.

"So, are you competing?"

Crystal raised an eyebrow. "Why retired? You seem like you could still be a great Cooridnator."

Crystal looked at the arena, wondering what each of the trainer were thinking, their stragities, their Pokemon, ect.,ect....
She was brought back to reality by Cloud's question.
"Oh, no, i'm not competing. Just...watching." Crystal smiled, and then remembered something.
"Oh, yeah!" she exclaimed happily, withdrawing a Pokeball.
"Rai-Rai, come out!" she sing-songed.
With a burst of light, a Raichu exploded from the Pokeball, eyes on the Arena excitedly.
Crystal laughed, and patted Rai-Rai on the head happily.

"It's a mystery. Perhaps a backstory, or a scarring memory that arose, or a terrible accident..."

Cloud said mysteriously, a joking overlay to her voice that trailed off dramatically. She shook her head, swinging her wave of black hair out of her silvery eyes. Laughing to herself, she continued on.

"I'm going to be an MC for the Coordinating section of the competition."

Cloud explained, and then she looked at the Raichu that had exploded from its Pokeball in a burst of red light. Cloud smiled at the Pokemon with a bright smile that matched the light of its electrifying cheeks.

"Come out, Umbreon."

Cloud cooed to a shaking Pokeball, and in a stream of crimson light came Umbreon who immediately began scanning the arena, on the alert for signs of danger.

"Oohh, mysterious." Crystal joked, laughing.
She smiled at the Umbreon as it popped out of it's Pokeball.
"Umbreon, hm? I have an Umbreon, but she's...taking a vacation." Crystal laughed at the last part.
Rai-Rai pulled at Crystal's leg as a man selling Cotton Candy walked towards them.
"No, Rai-Rai, you've had enough sweets." Crystal chided in a motherly tone. Instead, she reached inside her bag and pulled out a rosy apple. She handed it to her Pokemon.
"Eat this instead."
Rai-Rai smiled, and took the apple happily, for they were his favorite treats.

"What was that for?!?"Bella questioned Cody angrily for ruining one of her moments.

Bella waited for the ref to say they could bring out their pokemon, in till then Bella fingered her red poke ball decorated with hearts.

"Umbreon, as you can probably see, isn't one much for social interaction. He's the man of our pack, more of a solemn type- he's like our bodyguard."

Cloud said, giving Umbreon a grateful smile, to which he puffed out his chest that was filled with pride. Umbreon fell into a defensive position as the man with cotton candy walked by, a deep growl rising in his throat as became ready to pounce.

"Now Umbreon, this man has done nothing to harm us."

Cloud scolded playfully, giving Umbreon a sweet pat on the head as he gave the cotton candy man a menacing glare. There was a rumble in Cloud's bag as Skarmory rushed out of her Pokeball. Silver metal wings shining in the bright lights of the stadium, Skarmory continually swooped down and took the cotton candy man's sweets, much to his anger. Cloud laughed, and handed the man 500 Poke.

Stevan trained and trained for ages, leveling up his weakest pokemon, Cryogonal. It had been the first Unova pokemon he had caught and he had kept him ever since.

Currently, Stevan was training the Cryogonal's Solar Beam because the beam was all over the place.

Crystal laughed at the angered Man, and turned back to the Arena.
"Hmm, seems as if they are about to start the battle." she remarked.
"Wonder if the Pokemon are excited." she added, as an afterthought

"I suppose they might be excited, excited for the massac...- Er, I mean, marvelous- battle about to unfold before them. Really must get their hearts racing."

Cloud finished akwardly, just barely catching herself. She studied Crystal's face to see if she had noticed, or registered, her slipup. Umbreon noticed Cloud's tension and hopped up on her lap, nuzzling her encouragingly, which was out of character for him. As expected, the kind action from the dark Pokemon was over seemingly before it had started and he was back to scanning the Arena.
