"Ugh," Margot growled, throat still burning. "Digit, end this now! Tri-attack on Murkro-" She burst into another coughing fit, barely able to stay on her feet. But she wouldn't give up without a fight- not after Ramses sacrificed himself that way. "NOW!" she rasped, trying to bury her face in the arm of her jacket. The poison was now stinging at her eyes, turning her eyes slightly red and drawing tears.

The Virtual Pokemon fired the attack, wobbling slightly as it did. "SYSTEM HAS TAKEN ON VIRUS," it bleated, the image of his arms and tail fizzling in and out. "Sh-sh-sh-shutting down to prevent fur-fu-further . . ." Digit spasmed for a moment and then sunk like a tank, hitting the ground without a sound. Margot pawed at her belt for the Pokeball and called Digit back, then felt around for another Pokemon. "E-end this battle so I can c-clear the air!" she sputtered, hands trembling while they held her Skarmory's Pokeball.

Krow started to use Defog himself, (He can use more than 4 moves OUTSIDE of battle right? >< keep it more realstic...)
and tried to wake up Melody, who had passed out, but eventually fainted himself.

Crystal sighed and shook her head. "That was a sucidal move." she frowned.
Ugh, she wondered toherself if this counted as a "GPU emergency".
Anyway, she pulled out her Gardevior's Pokeball.
"Gardevior, Safe Guard the stands filled with the audience!" Crystal commanded as the Pyschic Pokemon shot out of the ball, and did as commanded.
Crystal recalled her Raichu, and asked Gardevior Telaport the trainers and their Pokemon out of the arena, and into the stands.

Spike went back to his hotel, after a surprisingly short 10 minutes of being lost. Next he used the room's private spa pool, then had a dinner consisting of an energy bar and a glass of tap water.

Margot could feel her stomach start to heave as she continued to cough; then, the world swirled around her and suddenly she was somewhere else, where the air was clear. She trembled as the coughing began to subside, clutching at her sides. "Icarus," she sputtered, calling out her Skarmory. "G-go down and clear the air." The Pokemon took off, swooped down low over the arena, and landed in the middle of the arena, beating his wings to clean out the poison vapors. As a steel type, he wouldn't get hurt.

Margot eventually lifted her head to look at the trainer who had teleported them out. Something about her seemed oddly familiar, but her head was still too hazy . . . "Call the medics," she murmured.

Bella pushed aside Cody's arms blocking her view.
"Cody, I think I'll be fine!"Bella said finally getting a glimpse of the TV.
"Or...not..!" Bella said falling back down faintly in her seat looking sick and pale. XD

Crystal found that Melody and Krow were both in too severe of conditions to go, so she took them to the Pokemon Center herself. (The Pokemon Center would help Melody, for she was posioned by a Pokemon's attack.)
She left them there, and after a few seconds of thinking, left a present for Melody that she might enjoy.
Then, Crystal called the GPU agent that was in charge of the protection of the contest to inform him that if she had been walking around, (Doing her REAL job) instead of "scoping out the arena" (Slacking off), she wouldn't had been able to save those trainers.
Her boss finally gave in and gave her permission to watch the rest of the battles. (Crystal did a fistpump)
She did hope that reckless trainer got disqualified though..... That was an idiot move.
(I'll post Crystal's form on here later. 😊 )

((Okay, that's three votes for option 3, so I'll push that one.))

The intercom crackled before the panicked voice of the announcer returned. "All spectators, please move away from the arena while the situation is handled! I repeat, please move away! If you believe you have breathed in the poison gas, report to the medical station immediately!" There was the faint sound of a door opening, and then a rustle of paper. "Because Garrett Reidar's Empoleon is the last Pokemon remaining, the team of Garrett Reidar and Margot Abeln has won this round and will proceed to round two. Again; if you believe you or your Pokemon may have inhaled this poison gas, please report to the medical station as soon as possible. Also, would Shomari Spencer report to the tournament check-in building. Thank you."

Margot blinked the remaining tears out of her eyes and looked over at the arena. The tournament staff had brought in several more flying types who were using various moves to clean out the arena for the next battle. "Icarus," she rasped, summoning her Skarmory back. "Take me to the Pokemon Center." The bird Pokemon stooped as she climbed onto his back and then took off, almost throwing his weakened trainer off his back.

After his "dinner", Spike managed to get himself lost, AGAIN.
And somehow he ended up at the Snowpoint Gym.
Since he'd been going out to train anyway, he went inside. "You guys ready for some Ice training?" He asked. "That's what let us down and you know it."
He and his pokemon knew he could have pummeled those weaklings anytime. Dumb restrictions. Where he came from, there were no restrictions. Life or death, simple as that.
Spike wouldn't stay in the gym long though. Because he knew people would see that move he'd made with the Toxic.
And they'd know it was him.
And they'd come.

Toxic is a legitimate move recognized by the Pokemon League, so they can't arrest him for it or anything. X3 The tournament management will just be mad at him for a while.

Melody awoke after a few hours of treatment. Krow had already been awoken, since Pokemon sometimes tended to heal faster than humans.
Krow happily flew back to Melody's head, and started to make a nest in her short raven hair.
A Nurse Joy explained everything that had happened, and Melody got FURIOUS at that Shomari guy who had made her lose the tournment.
But she got a better mood when she found out she had a gift waiting for her.
The gift was a Pokeball with a letter attached to it.
It read,
Dear Melody Summers,
I was watching the battle you were in, and saw you had some diffculties with your Sneasal, while your Murkrow obeyed you without question. It occured to me that your love and care you put into each of your Pokemon might be a bit biased.
I'm giving this Sandile, nicknamed Sandy, to you, in hopes that you will raise this Dark/Ground type well. At don't worry about Sneasal, he'll comearound sooner or later.
Yours truely, ???"
Melody smiled at the letter. But she didn't think her love was biased... or was it? Maybe she SHOULD spend a bit more time with her other Pokemon....

(OOC// Well, I wasn't expecting that. xD My last roleplay post still stands; Empoleon used Avalanche to shield Garett from the poison on the ground. I'll start from there...)

Garett knew this round was over. Empoleon had let out a powerful Avalanche to shield him from the poison on the ground, but the fumes were still strong.

He had got by so far, but he had noticed that the referee had fainted. The audience had been taken care of, so now for himself and his Pokemon.

"This is going to be a risky move..." Garett thought.

"Empoleon! Bubble Shield on me, now!" The trainer said to Empoleon.

A fast Swords Dance attack stirred up the toxins on the ground, and then a Bubblebeam sprayed Garett at top speed. It was enough to make a gas mask for him.

"That's great! Return, Empoleon!" After making sure his feet were covered in bubbles, too; he recalled Empoleon to his Poke Ball.

"Now for the hard part..." He muttered. Garett made a sudden mad dash to the open door of the arena.

Panting, he noted he had safely made it inside. Garett realized he had barely breathed in any of the lethal toxins.

After making it to an area where flying-types can fly safely, he took out a Dusk Ball. Smiling, he threw the ball up into the air. "Crobat!" The purple bat Pokemon came out in a red flash.

"Use Fly to take me to Snowpoint's Pokemon Center." He said.

"Crobat!" Crobat said, getting ready to take off, but then, stopped. "Cro... bat, bat? Crobat cro bat ba cro?"

Garett, knowing his Crobat, knew it translated to something to the extent of 'Wait a second... Garett? Why do you have bubbles all over you?'

"Haha, don't worry." He chuckled. "Just Empoleon's Bubble Shield again. Now, let's go!" And with that, he and Crobat took off for the Pokemon Center.

Margot awoke at the Pokemon Center with a headache. She sat up slowly and looked around to find a couple other people in the room with her, all looking to be in a similar condition. "Bet they all got hit with Toxic, too," she murmured, slowly swinging her legs over the side of the Center bed and standing. She dd her checks; all five Pokeballs at belt, PokeNav, wallet . . . nothing was missing. Satisfied, she headed for the front desk to check out.

Nurse Joy stood at the desk (as usual), but even she was looking at the television above the couches in the corner to watch the tournament. Margot glanced over as well. The next match-up was shown on the screen in big letters, with a small headshot of each trainer next to their name:

BELLA VALENTI + CODY GRIFFIN VS. DANIEL KINGSLEY + ZELLERS

Margot chuckled. Somebody had forgotten to register their last name. After a brief conversation with the nurse, she left the Pokemon Center, feeling the cold air sting her cheeks. Something then occurred to her. "Ramses!" she exclaimed, calling out her Pokemon. The Houndoom appeared in a flash of light, looking a bit broody. She took his face in her hands and examined his muzzle in the glow of the Pokemon Center. Across his maw were two long, pale, ghostly scars.

Crystal was outside, enjoying a strawberry icecream cone she'd brought herself, congratulating herself for getting a break from REAL WORK.

A rather annoyed-with-her-friend Gardevior materalized out of her Pokeball, looking cross.
Gardevior shot Crystal a look that clearly said, 'You should be WORKING.'
Crystal laughed at her freind, and patted Gardevior on the head lovingly.
"What are they going to do? FIRE me?" Crystal grinned.
Gardevior rolled her eyes, and Telaported Crystal back into the arena, where she should've been.

Crobat let his trainer off at the Pokemon Center. Garett noted that the bubbles had fallen off during flight. "Thanks a lot, Crobat," he said, recalling the purple bat in a flash of red light.

"Omg! They are posting the teams!"Bella squealed Beckoning everyone over to the tv.

TV ANNOUNCER: "Once again congrats to our first winners of round one Margot and Garett now here are the teams for the second match!" The tv announcer said joyfully.

The tv flashed different names and faces in till they came to a stop of Bella and Cody vs Zellers and Daniel.

"YES!" Bella thought to herself ,no being on a team with Daniel! if anything Bella was going to take him down!

He would have died if he had to battle along side Bella...and her rapid emotions.....XD

"YES!"Cody thought (hehe copying) I'm on a team with Bella and battling Daniel this will be a fun battle!

Cody turned to Daniel and Bella
"Oh ya, I guess we are on a team,and I guess we are battling each other." Cody shrugged like it was no big deal.
