Ramses tumbled a few feet before lying still, unconscious. Margot was quiet now as she called him back, holding the Pokeball close to her face. "Good job," she murmured softly before placing it back into her Pokeball belt. A composure seemed to come over her as she drew her next Pokemon, holding the Pokeball out in front of her. "All right, Digit. Let's give 'em a show." The Porygon-Z emerged in a flash of light, twirling his arms merrily. His whimsical disposition cheered Margot up a bit. "Nasty Plot," she said, taking advantage of the time they had before the other trainers could target them. She listened as Digit made a series of ping sounds, signaling that the move had worked. "Garrett," she said, trying to get her partner's attention. "Can you cover Digit next turn?"
dragonstorm78 • 22 December 2011 at 7:53 PM
Garett looked at Margot, hearing her words. "What? Oh, yeah, we can do that." He looked back to the Empoleon.
taffy789 • 22 December 2011 at 7:55 PM
Krow hardly had time to gloat about his victory over Ramses, for a wild Shelly started to Roll everyway. Krow quickly took to the air, flying upwards to get away from any attack that were trying to belittle him, severing in the air, and sometimes showing off for the crowd by doing loop-de-loops.

The rolling Shelgon ball of doom was heading straight for the Empoleon, and gaining speed.@dragonstorm78 XD
dragonstorm78 • 22 December 2011 at 7:59 PM
Garett saw what the Shelgon was doing right away. "Empoleon! Use Bubble Cloud to change into Swords Dance!"Empoleon nodded slightly, letting out a cloud of bubbles as he twirled around in a Swords Dance, even after the bubbles had stopped coming.

"Great," she replied, trying to keep from smiling. She didn't want the other side predicting their next move. "Dij!" she shouted, gathering her Porygon-Z's attention again. "You see the Shelgon?" "Affirmative!" he chirped, turning to face the rapidly rolling dragon type and nodding."Why don't you show it your favorite move?"The Virtual Pokemon made an excited noise and shimmied its body before flying over the arena and planting itself directly in the pathway of the shelgon. It paused for a moment, a soft "bloop" issuing from it.A massive stream of energy shot from the Porygon-Z, bright white and five feet across. Hyper beam was base 150 power, Margot remembered reading on the label of the TM. Powered up by STAB from Digit's normal type, his silk scarf, and the Nasty Plot he'd just used . . . it was set to decimate. The only major downside was that Digit would be very vulnerable in about seven seconds.
taffy789 • 22 December 2011 at 8:05 PM
Both Melody and Krow's eyes widened as the Hyper Beam shot at Shelgon. "Krow, get it from behind with Fly!" Melody fiercly commanded Krow, who flipped upsidedown in mid air, and started for Digit. Why wait 'till it stopped? She could hit it right now. Krow zoomed in closer with his Fly attack, heading straight for Digit....
dragonstorm78 • 22 December 2011 at 8:09 PM
"Nice Hyper Beam," Garett murmured to Margot.Empoleon was now fired up and ready to attack something after the Swords Dance. He had evaded the Shelgon's Rollout, and was ready for something else. And Garett could tell. Grinning, he knew what his Empoleon wanted him to call out."Empoleon!" He called to the Pokemon. "You know what I'm talking about, topple it!"And he did. Empoleon could sense that Digit was running out of energy quickly after the Hyper Beam, and knew he had to cover him once again. With a quick bellow, the attack Avalanche came down upon Spike's Shelgon.
silver_winged • 22 December 2011 at 8:21 PM
"Remember when I asked if you could cover me?" Margot said hastily, nuding Garrett gently. "Well, you can take care of that Murkrow!" Digit, its attack finished, was frozen mid-air, nothing moving except for the spinning rings of its eyes. "Recalculating," it said in its GPS voice, staring straight ahead as the effects of Hyper Beam wore off. Margot stared with worry at Krow, who seemed to be flying down very quickly.
taffy789 • 22 December 2011 at 8:23 PM
Krow raced at Digit, gaining awesome speed, from flying down from so high. He gritted his beak together, and flew straight for Digit's back, trying for a powerful attack. Melody watched, hopeful for a solid attack.

Feeling the vibrations of the Hyper Beam charging in the air, Shelly instinctively crashed into a wall of the arena, doing a little damage but nothing worrisome. Spike couldn't believe his luck."Quick, Shelly, FIRE BLAST, straight up!!!" He was terrified at the thought of losing Shelly, so quickly. The intense heat of the Fire Blast melted the snow before it hit the Shelgon, turning into much less harmful water. Shelly was pounded by it when it hit, but it wasn't very effective, and didn't do much.EDIT: EDIT:Wait, where did the Hyper Beam go??? XD
taffy789 • 22 December 2011 at 8:30 PM
@smilies - It stopped by now. XD
smilies • 22 December 2011 at 8:31 PM
@taffy789 ...The Avalanche protected Shelly! 😃
silver_winged • 22 December 2011 at 9:12 PM
Margot cursed under her breath. That attack most definitely should have hit! "Stupid . . . " She muttered, her hands balling into fists. There was nothing she could do now but wait.Suddenly, miraculously, Digit made a loud "PING!" noise. "Make a U-turn," it said calmly in its GPS voice, but whirled around to face Krow. Digit let loose a Tri-Attack, bouncing once in the air. A swirling beam of fire, ice, and electricity zoomed at the Murkrow, effectively forcing it to choose between both or neither Pokemon taking hits. Margot breathed a sigh of relief. "I love you, Digit."
taffy789 • 22 December 2011 at 9:20 PM
Krow couldn't stop now, even if he wanted. He slammed into Digit, while still taking massive direct damage. He then fluttered off into the air, now flying a bit loop sided.
smilies • 22 December 2011 at 9:23 PM
Shelly was breathing heavily. Her heavy weight and strong outer shell were advantages when it came to Rollout and other physical attacks, but they reduced her stamina and speed ridiculously. "Light this place up, Shelly," Spike sighed.Shelly nodded, sending out several powerful Fire Blasts so that even the cold, icy ground was ablaze.
silver_winged • 22 December 2011 at 9:26 PM
Digit flipped a ways through the air before righting itself. It shook its head rapidly, seeming to clear its vision. It paused now, tilting its head to the side. Margot saw the air shimmer around it; the Porygon-Z had used Nasty Plot again."Your pick," she said to Garrett, looking at him from the corner of her eyes. "Would you rather handle Shelgon or Murkrow?"
dragonstorm78 • 22 December 2011 at 9:30 PM
"Preferably, the Murkrow." He said.
smilies • 22 December 2011 at 9:43 PM
"Hmmm.... Three-Four on Three?" Spike tried, bored. Shelly, immune to the flames licking around her sides, shot him an irritated glance, and curled up in a defensive position.Either she was still recovering, or sulking, Spike sighed.
taffy789 • 22 December 2011 at 9:53 PM
Murkrow landed on a snow drift, and started Roost again. Melody watched as the Murkrow kept a sharp look out while still trying to recover some... (So, how do we decide who wins? xd)~~ In the stands, most of the people around the girl had moved away from her, for she was now scarfing down a plate of nachos and a large Coke while her Raichu was licking some cotten candy. "Hmm, a pretty intresting battle..." she remarked to herself. " They are all evenly matched..." A loud buzzing intrupted her. She rolled her eyes, and pulled a small communicator with the intitials GPU on it. She clicked the button on it. "Hello?" "Crystal! Are you watching around for any compromises to the safety of the competion, or are you watching the competion?!?" a voice hissed on the other end. "Ugh, I-bzt- can't-bzzt-hear-Bzzt-You-Bzzt- Speak-bzzt-up-Bzzt." Crystal made the fake staticty noises as she faked a ruined signal. "Oh, you DON'T want to try that with me! You-" Click. Crystal frowned and shut off the communicator. She turned back to Rai-Rai, who was now COVERED in cotton candy, looking confused, as if even HE didn't know how'd he gotten into the situation." Crystal laughed, and started to pull the fluffy candy off of her Raichu.
cody • 22 December 2011 at 11:37 PM
" What a well trained pokemon." Cody praised Digit."Unlike some skitty I know...." Cody laughed to himself.@cinder @belle Cody took a seat next to Bella and Daniel who were glued to the TV." Hot chocolate or poke-cider anyone?" Cody handed a cup to both of them and placed a mug of cider for Umbreon.

@taffy789 We see who gives up first...? XD I don't really care if I win or lose.... Though it'd be kinda sad to sit around watching everyone else... 😋
taffy789 • 23 December 2011 at 12:12 AM
Then chu can start battles with the others! XD That what's i'd do. XD
silver_winged • 23 December 2011 at 1:27 AM
"All right then," Margot responded, nodding slightly. "We'll take the Shelgon. Digit! Lock-on to that Shelgon, if you don't mind." The Porygon-Z looked around until it found the Shelgon before freezing for a moment, data flashing across its eyes. "Target acquired!" it barked, using a voice that had to have been taken from some shoot-out video game. Margot wasn't entirely proud of this strategy. She rarely ever used it, except on certain squirmy Pokemon that refused to stay put. But this battle needed to end; her Houndoom needed his face treated, and she needed a warmer pair of gloves. "At your leisure," she began, frowning slightly, "Hyper Beam." ((If you lose there's still plenty to do. X3 Non-tournament battles, contest, the Pokemon show, exploring Snowpoint City . . . ))
smilies • 23 December 2011 at 1:41 AM
Spike saw the Porygon start charging and rolled his eyes. "How lame," he muttered. "As much as I don't care about winning, I'd hate to see someone who relies so much on boring brute force get the better of us.... Wouldn't you, Shelly?" He asked. Also, he'd hate to lose without ever getting to use his full power... Although, his FULL power... Yeah. Best not to. His strongest Pokemon then."Shelly," he called out to the Shelgon. "Two-Four defense combo, before it hits!" There was no way of course, a slow Pokemon like Shelly could dodge. He had to just hope she could endure.
silver_winged • 23 December 2011 at 1:49 AM
The Porygon-Z paused for a long moment. Margot mentally smacked her forehead; she'd forgotten Digit's "specific wording" rule. At his leisure could have meant any time within the next week. "I change my mind," she called after the Pokemon. "Now would be good." Digit gave an affirmative "blip" before loosing another devastating Hyper Beam. Margot could see what the Nasty Plot had done to her Pokemon's special attack; the beam blazed brighter white this time, reflecting so harshly off the snow that she had to squint and raise a hand to shade her eyes.

Just in time, Shelly slammed the snowy ground with a Dragon Rush, creating a hole, and jumped down in her Rollout ball of doom, like a dive bomb, which made the hole even deeper. However, the attack was not called Hyper Beam for nothing.Shelly did not emerge from the hole, which was now invisible, covered in snow. The announcer looked like he wasn't sure whether to raise the flag or not. Most of the audience thought the blast had completely destroyed the Shelgon, and several small children started crying over the adorable round thing."What a drag," Spike groaned.
silver_winged • 23 December 2011 at 2:19 AM
"Reconfiguring . . . " Digit bleated, frozen in the air once more. Margot frowned at the snow drift. Something didn't seem quite right. She wasn't going to be very popular with the crowd, she realized with a sigh, but better safe than sorry. "Once you unfreeze, ready a Tri-Attack. If anything in that pile moves, fire." The Porygon-Z began making a series of bleeps as he recharged, each one rising in pitch.
smilies • 23 December 2011 at 2:32 AM
Whoosh! Something covered in snow shot out of the ground, not from where Shelly had been when the Hyper Beam had hit, but from behind Digit.Shelly wasn't stupid. She'd survived, but barely. She was on her last legs and would faint any minute. So, she put all her energy into one last Fire Blast, which lit up the whole arena like nothing else, the heat so intense that heat waves rippled like water. Then Shelly fell into a dead faint, all her energy gone.
silver_winged • 23 December 2011 at 2:39 AM
Digit let out an alarmed bleep and was tossed through the air by the fire blast. He skipped off the snowy ground several times before levitating again, whirling his arms as if to regain his balance. "HP 19%," it called out to its trainer, who had her head bowed in relief. "You're the best, Dij," she replied, looking back up and nodding. "Now let's help Empoleon take out that Murkrow."
