"Hmm.. Tri-attack? Margot should know better! Murkrow is just gonna knock Digit out using Sucker punch!" Bella exclaimed looking quite bored.
"At least it's almost Christmas!" Bella cheered
"And they are having a party tomorrow night at the Ceremony Plaza !" Bella said.

@belle That sounds like a plan. X3 I might be able to reply to the roleplay from my phone today and tomorrow, but it probably won't be too often. Sorry!

We'll say Christmas is the day after the Tournament. XD However long the Tournament lasts. And that'll be the day Candice the gym leader gets snatched. Yay for plotting ahead of time.

I've been tossing around an idea for another Pokemon roleplay with a COMPLETELY different plot from this one, but would it be weird to have two Pokemon roleplays running at once? ^^;

@dragonstorm78 Porygon-Z is normal, and Empoleon is Water Steel, you know, and it's Taya's only long-distance attack, plus Dragon ain't much better against Empoleon 😋

By blasting Ice-Beams straight up to create a path, Taya flew out and up in her Ice-Beam's wake (using the occasional Dragon Claw when the going got tough) through the Avalanche as it came down upon her, emerging with minimal damage. She shot the Empoleon a cheeky, "How's that?" kind of look.
Spike's Altaria WAS his second strongest, not counting his absent Special.
It wasn't that any of her stats were good: (except for speed) but she was an amazing flier, great at strategy, and unlike most of Spike's Pokemon, reasonably calm.
Still, Spike doubted even she could pull that trick off again.
He HAD to distract them long enough for Krow to roost: there was no way he could handle these two by himself, and even if he took down the dying Porygon, Taya simply lacked the power to defeat the Empoleon. None of her moves were effective at all!

The Empoleon growled, as much as a birdlike Pokemon could. This Altaria shouldn't have been out still.

He looked back to Garett, with a look that clearly said "Please let me do another Avalanche on her."

Smiling as his trainer nodded, Empoleon ran right toward the Altaria, like he preparing to let forth a heavy-hitting Flash Cannon. Of course, he would then run to the side and let out another Avalanche, but they couldn't have known that.

Margot watched with worry as her Pokemon pretended to charge the attack. It was beginning to look like Murkrow wouldn't take the bait. "Come on," she murmured to herself, frowning. The Porygon-Z faced the Murkrow completely, and seemed as though it was ready to collect the multi-elemental energy into a beam. She wasn't sure how much longer he could fake the attack before it was obvious they were stalling.

Daniel smiled watching Umbreon play with Bella and the poke-toy. "I'm surprised you were able to raise such a beautiful Espeon."Daniel remarked smirking as the little Espeon jumped up and curled on his lap.

"I give up," Spike sighed. "Come on Taya. It's time for the First. Let's go."
His Altaria nodded, determined. This was it.
At first, nothing seemed to happen.
Then the icy ground rippled, a hint of amethyst showing...
Spike reached into his pocket and dug out something, then slapped it over his face, it covered from just below the eyes down.
The ground was now coated in a thick, venomous purple ooze: just one touch would leave you badly poisoned, instantly. Not only that, but the air too turned to a lilac haze: breathing it in would have the same effect, if slightly slower.
There was no escape from Taya's deadly toxic. The Altaria herself soon began coughing: even after her extensive training, she was not immune.
Spike realized everyone would probably have to be admitted to hospital if this took too long. Mmm...

"Aww thank y-,WAIT WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN?!??!" Bella suddenly snapped as she realized it was an insult and a compliment.
"Hmph."Bella said turning Away her arms crossed,only to be embaressed with Skitty coming out of her pokeball and tackling her.

Margot watched with worry as the ground began to shift. It couldn't mean anything good. "Digit, hover higher," she said rather tentatively. Then, the fumes reached the outside edges of the arena.

Suddenly, her lungs burned like fire. She began to cough heavily, her eyes watering until tears rolled down her cheeks. She clawed her knit scarf in front of her face and tried to take deep breaths, but now a nauseating feeling was rising in her stomach.

Team Rocket was notorious for smoggy Pokemon. Margot had been hit by smoke from a Koffing or Weezing more times than she could count. She'd breathed in spores from Venonat and Dustox, been tackled by a Croagunk (and had to replace her uniform), and shut in a room with a Skuntank; she'd even been bitten by an Ekans and spent the rest of the day in the emergency ward for antivenin treatment. But whatever this was, something told her it was worse than anything she'd had before. Even as she stood at the edge of the arena, she could feel her muscles trembling.

Even through all that, she smiled--Spike may have written the end of his team. Empoleon was a steel type and completely unaffected by poison moves. Digit didn't breathe--as long as he stayed out of the dense cloud at the bottom, maybe he'd be all right. That only left Altaria and Murkrow- and that Altaria was beginning to look a bit woozy . . .

Cody laughed to himself at the moment, flying Skitty's and Daniel's somewhat rude sense of humor.

"Haha yep, your Skitty is very optimistic."Cody picked up Skitty and helped Bella up who seemed a bit dazed and red.

Bella stumbled to her feet a bit faint,
"Uhh thanks...Ouch my head."Bella stumbled over to her seat
"Skitty return..."Bella yawned turning her attention to the tv.
Bella rubbed her eyes and realized the field covered in purple smog.
"WOW! Look at the field!"Bella jumped up.
"Will they be alright?!?!?"Bella asked nervously.

The announcer waved his flag wildly. "This match is officially over!" He declared. "All teams will move on to the next round."
Then he fainted.

Taya ended the attack, then flew down to Spike, looking smug. He ripped off the gas mask, returned her, yawned, and finally sauntered off stage.



Face it, everyone wanted to win so bad, this wasn't gonna end well. @silver_winged Maybe you should do it like the Hunger Games, draw it outta a hat XD

Empoleon stood tall. Even though Steel-types were immune to Poison-type attacks and Pokemon (and proud, Empoleon thought), he still was worried about Garett. If the poison reached his beloved trainer...

He didn't wait for a command from Garett on this one. Empoleon knew that he needed something big to protect his trainer and defeat the opponent Altaria. He would not even give her the respect of calling her by her trainer-given nickname.

He released a quick Swords Dance, upping his attack power quickly. The poison seeped closer, and Empoleon brought out the biggest Avalanche attack he had ever done upon the dragon/flying type, and put a few rocks right in front of Garett, to protect him even slightly from the noxious toxic attack.

. . . if the fighting gets so bad that the ref faints, I suppose the management can just wave them all through. XD But I don't want to be unfair to all of the other people who are going to battle . . .

Melody looked at the toxic, and gave Spike a horrified look. "Krow, get out of-"
That was all she could get out before she fainted.
Krow squacked, and flew a bit loopsided to Melody, pecking at her trying to wake her up, looking a bit green in the feathers himself.
