@greengrass100100 I totally agree! I was basing my old opinion on what I now think was some expired stuff a cafe put in my order a decade ago, and it was the first and last time I'd tried it in all those years, because I thought what they'd given me was how it was supposed to be. The quality of what you can buy has improved massively since then, as has the variety, but I'm just so glad to have something dairy-free that I can put in hot drinks that tastes + behaves like real milk ^^
naturegirl1999 • 4 August 2016 at 5:30 PM
Have you tried almond milk?I tried some at a camp last year and it was delicious. It has been a while since I had soy milk though.
phangirl • 4 August 2016 at 5:32 PM
@naturegirl1999I tried it at my grandma's and i really don't like it though..
naturegirl1999 • 4 August 2016 at 5:33 PM

Its deb day!! đLuckily I'm not my best guy friends special dance, phew!I'll be running around doing makeup later this afternoon. Took the day off my real job to attend the deb, yet I'll still be working today. xDI'm doing my sisters makeup, as well as a couple of other girl's. đAnd my own. Should be a good day!!

I've been trying out different styles (I guess) of drawing on my tablet (not a drawing one, haha). I'm not very good at it, but I'm having a little fun. Now, if I could gather the motivation to complete the rather major pieces of homework I was received to do over these holidays before they finish in about a week or two...
phangirl • 6 August 2016 at 4:28 PM
@sparklefoxYou know what gets me motivated? Listen to The Rocky Theme Song on Youtube. That could possibly help if you lile music... :]
sparklefox • 6 August 2016 at 4:30 PM
@phangirl - Oh, that song? Haha, great idea. I'll guess I should try.
naturegirl1999 • 6 August 2016 at 5:21 PM
Just listened to it and I like it.
crazyfeline • 7 August 2016 at 7:26 AM
@sparklefox I can't draw digital, never works out well! Good on you for giving it a go though! đ I used to do the same on my tablet (not a drawing tablet) too, always fun - but could never create anything serious đUggggh homework. I used to start mine the night before it was due to be completely honest. I used to never feel motivated to do it, it helps if you turn off your phone and do it in front of a really boring movie - that used to get me through it because I'd have the homework in front of me so I'd get bored with the movie and naturally just start it. đ đ~.~.~.~.~.~The deb was pretty fun. My sister best friend was her special dance, only she felt a little travel sick. So I said I'd do it, but I didn't know the dance. Another girl stood up and said she would and basically ignored me. My sister said she would have preferred me if not her best friend. But doesn't matter. đThe introductions went for way too long and I kept being slightly immature and pulling faces at the others on the table...the all sat there trying not to laugh. Sorry, but that part was too boring for me. The rest was good!My mum filmed me dancing to the nutbush with my friends and I need to delete that xD
fairy_tail • 7 August 2016 at 7:46 AM
I'm supposed to be painting some stuff right now, but I'm feeling really lazy...I'm also looking for breeders because I'm planning to buy new puppies since my house is kinda lonely with my only dog outside.XD
noah • 7 August 2016 at 10:06 AM
@naturegirl1999 I have! It's really delicious, but it doesn't blend with hot drinks too well. Still, it's a lovely drink on its own ^^
hayz • 8 August 2016 at 11:10 PM
Hey guys! So I'm gonna be a junior in high school and I'm gonna be taking the SAT!! (Woohoo, Death.jpg) Anyone have any tips on studying? I'm currently in summer prep but the highest I've gotten is 660/660 on both math and english, which is considered mediocre there. :'(
mastergemma • 9 August 2016 at 7:27 AM
@crazyfeline Never be embarrassed of the nutbush, it's a must for every celebration. At my 18th I remember doing it, I love it so much. The nutbush and the macarena are always must dos. I didn't go to my high school's deb, the tickets cost over $150 and the females had to purchase the tickets for the males and it included 10 dance lessons. Looking back it was probably a decent deal to learn how to actually dance. @hayz Good luck with studying, try listening to music without lyrics. I've heard that it does help. When studying I normally listen to any music but I keep it on a low volume so I can still hear myself thing. Also, take breaks every once in a while and during the year when you don't have too much to do go over your notes from classes so when you do have to study for a test hopefully you will remember more. Ahh, I haven't found a new Vocaloid song that I've wanted to listen to more than once in a while now. Hopefully I can find one soonNutbush city limits!
crazyfeline • 9 August 2016 at 8:01 AM
@mastergemma Seems like a fair bit actually. đąMy sister did it with her boyfriend and they had to pay $100 each, that was it. đ (other than whatever was spent on dresses, makeup, hair etc haha)Then tickets were $30 and paid by whoever wanted to come. đHahaha I'm still highly embarrassed about it! I don't dance. :')Well, actually that's a lie. I dance at any opportunity and look highly stupid doing it. xD~.~.~.~.~.~.~IM GOING TI ALFIE ARCURI IN NOVEMBER!! Concerts â¤ī¸
lailaluckyseal87 • 9 August 2016 at 9:10 AM
@crazyfeline XD I love dancing but I think I fail miserably. Whenever I dance my sister stares at me and laughs. (She's 5 months though XD)
crazyfeline • 9 August 2016 at 9:19 AM
@lailaluckyseal87 hahaha awh!I'm sure you don't fail!I have a friend whose dancing is star jumping. Couldnt help but crack up laughing the first time I saw that! :')

My stint with vegetarianism/veganism has come to an end today, I think. I'm feeling restricted and bored, and I keep cooking the same stuff over and over again, which just takes the joy out of the whole thing. My philosophy's not going to change- I'm still determined to make everything I can from scratch, but now I'll be able to utilize all of my cookbooks again, and serve meals for everyone, rather than just myself. I won't abandon all my veggie recipes, either- I cooked plenty of them when I was last omnivorous- I'm just going to use the last couple of months as a learning experience, and take my kitchen adventures from there đ Have a great Tuesday everyone, and eat well!
hayz • 9 August 2016 at 2:38 PM
@mastergemma Thanks! I almost always am listening to music pretty loudly, so this will definitely help! đI mean, I guess I'll try to take breaks, but thats a pretty hard thing to do when your teachers are pummeling work at you 60 miles per house :' )(You probably have heard of all these songs but I just????? ?? love them so much ?? ???)For Vocaloid, you can almost never go wrong with Hitoshizuku x Yama! Their newest song, Blessed Messiah and the Tower of AI, is especially good! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiEC329xPostoa is also one of my (many) favorite producers! Even after all this time, I'm still listening to Patchwork Staccato and Music Music on repeat! Their official yt channel is here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEoSVgHlCKPVEHDIve3K7NANeru's new Dappou Rock is.... well, Neru! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5mHVUwDf_0Kurage-P's demo for the new Otomachi Una is super catchy! http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm29315733 Her voice is so strong and clear I just!! â¤ī¸ â¤ī¸ And I absolutely love the instrumentals in this!!!!! Niki's also out with a new song, Arrow! http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm29348475There's also this super cute video on the official Miku yt channel with Hachioji-P's Blue Star! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_6I_LLheAYOther popular songs that I love are: n-buna's Mairieux https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jak2qiq_jJo Especially in love with Reol and Rachie's english cover of it! http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm26464664 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMiYE2BfIRA respectively.JubyPhonic's english cover of Kokoronashi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xM-6fHqXvigYasuhiro's Dance Orchestra! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QljUIemirMKurokomo's cover of Watashi no R https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9iotI6mj9cThat's all I can think of at the moment :')

@hayzI know a lot of study tips!!! Try getting an understanding of your strengths and weaknesses and focus on learning those areas. Khan Academy is a helpful site, and there are study guides you can get like Barron's. There's also a math guide by a guy named Chung and a reading guide by someone named Metzer if I remember correctly. If you need any specific help, you can PM me. đ

@hayz aaa Hello friend, I heard studying. And you know from experience how much I love to study đ .I have a few tips for studying but to be honest it kinda depends on you and how much time you're willing to spend on it. I usually have a timer on my phone just to time myself to see how much I study and how much more time I need to study. So I'd say: Hey I'm gonna study like 5 hours a week, and I'd have a stopwatch on my phone to log it. Many people have used Pomodoro methods where they set a certain interval to study and a certain interval to take a break. like: Oh I'll study for 25 minutes and have a 5 minute break. and repeat. From a fellow junior from me to you, don't stress yourself out too much. (But I digress, since you mentioned studying, let's study for the SATs together some time.)

@vkaito Hello friend, I'm not gonna remember this during the school year hit me up then :')
Deleted • 9 August 2016 at 10:30 PM
@hayzB) I gots you. But I'm pretty sure you'll do really well on the SATs. You can take it several times and they'll take the higher of the scores.
naturegirl1999 • 10 August 2016 at 7:41 AM
What does SAT stand for?
Deleted • 10 August 2016 at 9:32 AM
@naturegirl1999 The SATs used to be an abbreviation for something, Scholastic Aptitude Test, if... I wasn't mistaken. A sister test to it would be the ACT (American College Test), but the ACT is more fast-paced and has the addition of science as a topic being tested. All in all they're just standardized tests that colleges want you to take to see if you're up to "standards" for college.

@lykhaos117 my family uses khans academy a lot. especially with math. Though I think they are going though some changes because some of the things seem to be broken. :/
lykhaos117 • 10 August 2016 at 3:14 PM
@dragoniiThat isn't good. âšī¸ I think they plan to add government lessons if they haven't done so already, so maybe they need to reformat or something. I might be wrong though.
