e-e Must I keep reviving this? C'mon guysss! This is such an epic rp! 😃 @silver_Winged @bunnyshadow @hedwig68A dark, looming shadow stood on the beach. The impossibly tall figure had wild red hair, lashing about in the strong winds. Her black drapes whipped around her, and her ghastly white hand was on a parent Shade, leeching the life of everything around it. The grass became brown roots, the flowers blackened, and the small creatures breathed no more every time the shadows breathed. The skies were an unnaturally dark black, unless there was a great deal of Shades around. Crackling and cawing like a crow it is, great big black wings spread from the parent and took off into the center of the hurricane with the red-haired on its back.

@skylark Thanks for reviving. 😃 Saria felt the coldness of the air and she woke up immediately. Her and Firan got ready quickly then rainout the door towards the cold. They pushed the large wooden doors open and yelled out into the cold night, it would have been beautiful if not for the Shade. Saria frowned and drew her rider's sword ready for a fight. Firan however said, "We can not take a shade on alone we need help." So Saria did the only thing she could, she cupped her hands around he mouth and yelled, "Help! Shade!"

@hedwig68 Sweet. 😃 Oh, you could be the one who spotted them leaving and set everyone to panic! Like the chef, sailors who came with us, Yellowbeard(captain), servents, trainers, and dragons alike. O:Re write your previous post though, I don't want to litter this up with information regarding the plot 😋

@skylarkREVIVAL TIMES 2! 8)
silver_winged • 22 May 2012 at 7:19 PM
Revival times three! >8D@bunnyshadow @skylark @hedwig68Ceren and Kvaya burst out onto the balcony. The young elf was still fixing his belt around his waist, having hastily dressed at the warning call. A sinking feeling growing in his stomach, he turned his eyes skyward. Up above, a dark shape lingered, broad and shadowy like some angel of death. All he could distinguish from the figure was a humanoid head, and the silhouette of streaming hair."Shade!" he repeated, hoping to call awake the rest of the riders. Unarmed but for light leather items with minimal spells placed on them, he leaped onto Kvaya's back and gripped her neck spike as she took off into the night. He fixed his legs into the saddle straps as she gained altitude."Saphira!" Kvaya called out with her mind. She was ever the sensible one. "Eragon! There is danger!" She soared higher, intending to rise above the figure and then come in closer for a look. The height would give them an advantage should the creature choose to attack.

@silver_winged Eragon and Saphira however had left the previous morning to venture to the other side of the island. There was trouble going on between the wild dragons and they had to fix it quickly. They had no idea that here was a Shade threatening the young riders and would not be back till the next day.Saria continued to yell for help, even after Ceren and Kvaya appeared. They needed all the help they could get and continued to yell for the elves, older dragons, and other more powerful then they. They soon ran out of breath and were breathing heavily, they felt a little light-headed from all the yelling but didn't care. Firan then drew up his head proudly and he lifted himself into the sky. Saria stayed on the ground as she didn't think Firan could support her weight yet. They got ready for a fight.Rynia and Sky woke up as they felt the cold and said quickly, "SHADE!" Rynia grabbed her sword and ran outside as quickly as possible with Sky at her heels. Rynia looked into the sky and saw the shade, as horrible and dangerous looking as ever. She hopped onto Sky with speed and they flew upwards until they were about at the same height as the shade. Rynia glared and yelled, "What do you want shade?!"@bunnyshadow@skylark

I must be the bad guy! D:@bunnyshadow @silver_winged @hedwig68The Shade laughed wildly, a shrieking cawing of utter happiness ever generated by such dark beings. The parent roared and lunged with its fearsome beak at the blue dragon who was too close for comfort, aiming for its neck. The red-head Shade spotted and pointed at Ceren and Kvaya, muttering something unheard of to the parent. The parent crow turned an eye to them, and cawed loudly. Quickly ditching the attacking of Sky & Rynia, they turned tail and flew rapidly into a dark whirlpool which completely disappeared after them.Andrew was out of bed at the third or tenth yell of a Shade, his hair terribly out of shape and his shirt on backwards. Thankfully, his amour was on right and Niamh wears her minimal amount all the time. Grabbing his thin cold sword that had a long silver blade and beautiful, adorned gold grip, he sheathed Hvass Arget and hopped onto Niamh's strong back. Fear and excitement quivered through both of them as they took off quickly. They saw the last of the red hair, large black feathers and the violet time-warp before they vanished and quickly realized what happened. >>Everyone all right?<< Niamh questioned, reaching everyone by mind.

@skylark@silver_Winged@hedwig68I have no idea what's going on xD~~~Sylvia: O_O
hedwig68 • 29 May 2012 at 6:53 PM
Sky and Rynia heard Niamh's question and said << I believe that nobody was hurt but what could have drawn a Shade to follow us this far out, especially when a well know Shade slayer lives here? >> Rynia sounded worried as if she was expecting the Shade to appear again. She and Sky landed next to Saria and Firan who were looking a bit frightened. Rynia leaned over and had a quick word with Saria before walking over to Andrew and Niamh. "We have to speak to Eragon about sending everyone on high alert, that Shade could and probably will come back." Saria and Firan glanced at each other and exchanged a glance. What they had just experienced had been one of the scariest moment of their lives. They realized that they could have easily been killed all the Shade would have to do was stab them. They had to be trained and ready for the next time something like this happened. They hoped it wouldn't but something deep inside them told then that it would.

>>I truly do not know. A new rebellion must be rising, it would be silly to not think so.<< Niamh told Sky & Rynia. She took on a worried frown, saving a glance at Ceren and Kvaya. Andrew nodded to Rynia, and quickly intercepted the message to Eragon & Saphira. Eragon was just talking to Saphira about the wild dragons, having safely settled the problem when the wind sent Andrew's message loud and clear. "Eragon, Saphira! Set the wind to your wings and return quickly; there was a Shade sighting just a moment ago. We are all fine; just worried that they may come back. Hurry, and may the sun shine on your backs and the winds be high for you." Saphira's wings were stretched to their longest as Andrew's blessing finished, dying away in the soft wind. "What do you think of it, Saphira?" Eragon asked as they took off. Saphira blinked a great big blue-eye at him and answered firmly; "Andrew would not be joking about that." With that, the only sound made was the chirping of birds as they changed their path for the ginormas blue-dragon who passed them. @silver_winged @hedwig68 @bunnyshadow

@skylark @bunnyshadow @hedwig68Even as the Shade lifted his hand, Ceren drew his silver longsword from the sheath at his waist. Kvaya let out a fearsome snarl, a lick of flame rising from her throat and curling around her teeth. With a sharp shift of her wings, she dove. Before they could come into close contact with the Shade, it vanished into the night."Coward!" Ceren accused in the Ancient Language, though the creature was long gone. Kvaya quickly winged her way down, swooping to fly alongside Niamh and Andrew. "Fine," Kvaya replied in place of her rider. The young elf was glaring forward, steely-gazed. He still held his sword as if he expected the creature to reappear at any moment. "Are Saphira and Eragon on their way back yet?
skylark • 1 June 2012 at 6:39 PM
@silver_winged @bunnyshadow @hedwig68 yessss 😃~*~*~Andrew nodded in answer to Ceren's question, and Niamh suddenly snorted. She explained to herself, >>I am trying to answer my confusion as to why the Shades would rise again. So far, I have nothing.<< Andrew shrugged at her thought.Saphira let out a roar that set the ground shaking, and the wild vibration shivered through the group, making Niamh's amour clank against itself. Then, the large bright light-blue dragon swooped underneath them as Eragon quickly did a head-count. "Alright, Saphira, there is no danger." Eragon said as he watched the group from his seat. Saphira snorted, >>But nevertheless, we should be on guard.<< "Of course, come on. We should talk to them, you know." A small grumble came from Saphira as she slowly rose to the groups' height. "No one is hurt, right?" He nodded to himself after they affirmed that. "Ok, let's land and everyone will tell me exactly what happened, in the dining-hall. I haven't had anything to eat for a while, and neither has Saphira."

@skylark Sorry, I'm being very slow at replying today. XD@bunnyshadow @hedwig68Kvaya tipped her head slightly in a nod toward Niamh. "We shall find out soon enough," she replied in a muttering tone, a low growl humming from deep within her chest. The sound was soon overcome by a deafening roar from Saphira, who appeared beneath the two dragons.Ceren glanced over in time to catch a sight of Eragon, his frown deepening slightly. He was in no mood to land and talk things over peacefully. "Kvaya and I will patrol," he said rapidly in the Ancient Language. "and make sure the Shade is not hiding anywhere else on the island. You may still reach us through mind-speak." With that, Kvaya pulled away from the group, her platinum scales glowing brightly in the moonlight. With two steady flaps of her wings she was headed over toward the beaches.

(Short reply!)@skylark@silver_winged@bunnyshadow I don't know how to summarize the events do far. XDSaria, Rynia, Firan, and Sky were speaking quietly amongst themselves, they were discussing about the Shade but soon stopped the conversation. They turned to the others and Saria said, "We should have someone else patrol, two people can split the area and it will be done faster." Rynia spoke up, "I will patrol the woods and the mountains, Ceren can patrol what he wants." She then without a word took off toward the forest.

UGH. I FEEL SO STUPID. *brainfart* gosh that was a terrible idea wow i had no clue I was so stupiddddd@silver_winged No worries! 😃 @hedwig68 @bunnyshadow You sure?~*~*~Andrew and Niamh nodded to Ceren and Kvaya, and flew to the forests to thoroughly check for any signs of Shades. Niamh, using her bat-like sound ability, scanned the jungle's floor.Eragon sat in his seat, embarrassed to redness. >>Told you that was a stupid idea.<< Saphira inquired lightly, with a smile on her face. Eragon scowled, still red, and crossed his arms whilst looking away.
