@skylark @silver_winged~~***~~Nehlil laughed at Kvaya's comment. She nudged Evarina's flank.>>See, not all dragons think it is funny, it's not just us two-legs<<Evarina growled gently at her in return and sent a wreath of smoke around Nehlil's head. It was full of dragon magic, and did not burn her hair, but Nehlil still looked around her in amazement. Every detail was clear cut and crisp but her vision was swimming in her eyes and seeing the flames dancing around her. Even when the fire faded, everything appeared brighter than originally.Nehlil stared at Evarina in astonishment once again,<<I said it was hard for me, never impossible.>> Her dragon's silent laughter shook her whole mind, and soon Nehlil was on the ground in laughter.

@fluffy ❤️3 @silver_winged @bunnyshadowAndrew put his slate beside yours, fluffeh-~~~~Dodododo- nothing~
Deleted • 16 March 2012 at 5:57 PM
@skylark - beside yours? Hmm? I don't have a slate...~~***~~Nehlil looked at him and leaned against his body. Evarina made an involuntary groaning sound in her head. She heard it and smiled inwardly."So... are you going to Saphira's island anytime soon?:
skylark • 16 March 2012 at 6:01 PM
@fluffy - Whoops, I ment he put his slate beside Nehlil xD~~~~Andrew smiled at Nehlil, his eyes laughing. He threw his chalk at Evarina, having heard that groaning. <<Hey! Don't get too jealous.>>Niamh rolled her eyes, looking blankly at them. She snorted and flexed her claws.

@skylark lol~~***~~Evarina curled up in the sun next to Niamh, not wanting to interfere with human affairs.<<What do you call a dragon in the sun?>> she asked Niamh, the same question she had asked Kvaya.Nehlil grinned back at him, her humanly traits showing more clearly now.
skylark • 16 March 2012 at 6:14 PM
Niamh yawned, <<A >> She laughed, <<No, a solus Bjartskular. Sunny Brightscales. How come, may I ask? >> Putting her head on the ground, she rolled onto her side, letting the sun get to her belly.Andrew put his arms around her and hugged her. A flow of appreciation and brotherly love floated from his mind to hers. >>I got you something.<<
Deleted • 16 March 2012 at 6:20 PM
@skylark (got Nehlil or Niamh something?)~~***~~<<Only needed to be Brightscales, but you've gotten closer than Kyava.>> Evarina purred and her golden scales flashed in the sun underneath her.Nehlil followed Niamh's direction and flopped on the ground, grabbing Andrew's hand and pulling him down with her.
skylark • 16 March 2012 at 6:25 PM
@fluffy ( Nehlil - Andrew can communicate through mind x3)~*~*~*~*~Niamh blinked in response to Evarina. The warden around them was filled with reflecting sun-rays off the dragon's scales.Andrew flopped onto his back, having been pulled down by Nehlil. Smiling, he pulled out a grass-like-box from his pocket. His slate was left in the dust, his chalk broken nearby it.
Deleted • 16 March 2012 at 6:29 PM
@skylark - ah okay, I just wasn't sure if it was to me or your dragon.~~***~~"Hmm?" Nehlil fingered the box gently and looked Andrew in the eye, "Is this what I think it is?" She looked at him in disbelief, not sure where this was heading to. Nehlil didn't really receive gifts other than the political kind. Even though she was a well-known figure in the Beor Mountains, she hadn't really had any friends her age.*I gtg*

@silver_winged Repost ~ you never responded xD~~~Both Sylvia's parents nodded their head. Sylvia's mother left for a few minutes , then led Ceren and the father to the third floor, into a library. Both sat down on comfortable chairs, and another fewchairs and a couch were nearby. "Sit wherever you wish.", Sylvia's father said. "But why do you need to talk privately?", He said, leaning back and crossing his legs. "All the servants and maids should be on the second floor, so their shall be no eavesdropping."
skylark • 16 March 2012 at 7:06 PM
@fluffy - that's alright! and awww, you have to go? bye! ❤️~*~*~Andrew shrugged, >>I am not sure what you might think it to be.<< The deluxe woven-grass box opened, and a beautiful stone of many colours gleamed. It turned slowly in the grass-box, sending rainbow rays everywhere. On the other side was a pocket watch, clicking each second with purpose. It was attached to a regular chain, long enough for a necklace or to be attached in a pocket. Around the edge of the pocket watch was 'Gath.'
___ • 16 March 2012 at 7:13 PM
>>Means 'Unite.' If you put the watch like this..<< Andrew picked out the watch and it became a boring-stone-encased-pocket-watch. He put the stone skyward, tilting it just so. A brillant shimmer of glitter made a random shape directly above it. He smiled, and shifted it a bit. The moving fairth completely disappeared. >>It is only visible to us and our dragons.<< Shifting it back, he looked at it & spoke loudly and clearly in his mind, >>Moving Fairth! Show me Nehlil, and her surroundings.<< in the Ancient Language. The shimmer changed, and the moving fairth showed who else but Nehlil, completely incased in sunlight, her slightly blurry background some grass & flowers. The moving fairth moved just as she did, but a bit more slowly. >>You can view anybody in this world expect for Eragon and Saphira. (I cut it off from them to give them privacy.) You cannot show it to people, but they will not be able to see the moving fairth. All they will see is a dull rock incased in a pocket-watch tilted just so. Even the engravement will appear to be a scuff mark. Oh, and its flaw is that it drains energy from the person who is being viewed.<< He looked at Nehlil. >>But, alas all that, I hope you like it.<< He placed the jewellery back into the box and it resumed its turning and gleaming.

@bunnyshadow - thanks! (:Want Andrew and Sylvia to chat?~*~*~*~
bunnyshadow • 16 March 2012 at 7:17 PM
@skylark Sure, whats andrew doing?~~~Sylvia strolled through the woods, a few memories playing through her head about her father. She wondered what Ceren and her parent's were talking about.
skylark • 16 March 2012 at 7:20 PM
@bunnyshadowJust chilling with his dragon, Niamh in a sunny spot. (careful, cuz @fluffy's charries - Nehlil and Evarina - are nearby)Don't forget, he's mute~*~*~*~Andrew leaned against Niamh's stomach, sunbathing even though his skin was very brown.
bunnyshadow • 16 March 2012 at 8:08 PM
@skylark~~~Sylvia walked into the clearing, to see a boy with a dragon. Sylvia wondered where Zaylia was and saw her behind Andrew, all of the sudden she pounced onto his arms and walked on his belly before curling up and sleeping. Sylvia toom a few steps closer with an O_o face.
hedwig68 • 16 March 2012 at 9:40 PM
Summer please sorry wasn't on my internet cuz down
skylark • 16 March 2012 at 10:20 PM
@hedwig68 - Ceren's talking to Sylvia's parents, and Sylvia's going to chat to Andrew - Nehlil is offline, so we can't do anything with her. If you really want details, it doesn't take too long to read 3 pages@bunnyshadow - Yes, I shall be to it now, sorry!~~~~~~~~~~~~~Andrew blinked, and patted Zaylia. He waved to Sylvia, >>How'd Ceren and your parents get along?<< he asked Sylvia, keeping his mind open to Zaylia, too.
bunnyshadow • 16 March 2012 at 11:17 PM
@skylark How does he know? .-.Sylvia doesn open her mind for anyone except Zaylia xD ~~~Sylvia immediately threw up huge steel barriers around he mind as a small tendril of thought attempted to wisp to her. She stared at Zaylia on Andrew's arms and the barriers thickened. She said with ease to Andrew,"Is that you...?" Sylvia was extremely experienced with guarding her mind, as Galbatorix WAS her father anywayz. Was. Zaylia simply jumped off Andrew's lap and started inspecting his dragon.
silver_winged • 16 March 2012 at 11:31 PM
@skylark @bunnyshadow @fluffy @hedwig68 Sorry for disappearing, I had to leave on short notice."I could certainly see that," Kvaya said to Niamh in a praising tone. "Without the ability to speak, Andrew must have a very powerful mind." She shifted her feet, trying to keep track of Ceren's actions as well as her own. "I much prefer riddles to jokes," she admitted to Evarina. "Besides, I think my answer is entirely valid." There was a sense of wounded pride. She watched with muted amusement as a gift was exchanged between the two riders. She did not understand the gravity such tokens held for the two-legs--especially with the two-legs-pointed-ears. Ceren read more into every object given and received than could ever lie with them, she thought.Ceren followed them to the library, taking swift, silent steps. Rather than selecting one of the many plush chairs, he perched upon a high wooden stool. "Atra nosu waise vardo fra eld hornya,*" he said rapidly. "Forgive me," he then added. "It is not that I do not trust you; I must be sure that we have no other listeners." He paused momentarily, shifting forward on his seat. "I . . . must make an inquiry as to Sylvia's ancestry." His eyes revealed nothing.*May we be warded from listeners.
bunnyshadow • 16 March 2012 at 11:33 PM
@silver_winged HERE IT GETS INTERESTING ❤️ Dun log off or i'll stalk your profiel till your online .-. XDLuv ya~*~~~Sylvia's mother seemed slightly uncomfortable, and her father asked,"Why?". Sylvia's mother stood up and left saying,"I'll get some drinks and snacks."
silver_winged • 16 March 2012 at 11:38 PM
@bunnyshadow Okay, okay. XD Did you list her parents' names anywhere? It would be helpful.-Ceren hesitated a moment, staring past Sylvia's father's face rather than at it. His expression was soft and contemplative, before his sharp eyes snapped back to Sylvia's father's face. "Ensuring the safety of the new legacy of riders is a priority of the riders of Eragon Shadeslayer," he said. His voice was calm and musical, though his hazel eyes were piercing.
bunnyshadow • 16 March 2012 at 11:46 PM
@silver_winged Uhm, lets call her mother Melody and her father Kyle xD~~~Kyle leaned back on his chair. "What would you like to know?"
silver_winged • 16 March 2012 at 11:52 PM
@bunnyshadow Works for me. X3-"Whatever you feel comfortable telling me before her mind is checked," he replied coolly. As a final safety measure, the minds of new riders were thoroughly scrutinized before the riders and dragons were permitted to the leave for the oversea lands. It was to prevent youths with dangerous mindsets or pasts from becoming too powerful; the daughter of Galbatorix could very easily be identified as a threat. Kyle, Ceren assumed, had to be fully aware that his daugher was at risk of having her link to her dragon severed, or perhaps worse.
bunnyshadow • 16 March 2012 at 11:55 PM
@silver_winged~~~"Promise to protect her.", Kyle said desperately. "Her past has not been very well, promise you'll protect her.", He said and lurhed forward on his chair his fists clenching. "Elves are people of their word? Promise in the ancient language."
silver_winged • 17 March 2012 at 12:00 AM
@bunnyshadow"I cannot yet make a promise," Ceren said simply, shaking his head slightly. "It would be irresponsible. I do not yet know enough; I merely have my suspicions." He shifted forward in his seat as well, mostly as a signal of his attentiveness. "First, you must tell me what I must know."
bunnyshadow • 17 March 2012 at 12:06 AM
@silver_winged Can he learn to like sylvia or something later? Im not gonna let her die :c Sylvia will spill the beans later xD ~~~Kyle sighed and crossed his hands on his lap, regaining his composure. "And what must you know? Personally, I don't k ow much about her past either, you must ask her."
silver_winged • 17 March 2012 at 12:11 AM
@bunnyshadow It's not that he doesn't like her. ^^; He just can't promise to protect her if he doesn't know anything about her situation.-"It would be more appropriate for me to speak to her, then?" he asked, expression betraying nothing. Inwardly, however, he had just confirmed that the man who claimed to be her father could not have been. Ceren was practiced in the subtle art of conversation; elven speech always held a subtext that had to be analyzed very carefully. While double-layer conversations were merely occasional amongst humans, Ceren's skills were useful in divining information.
bunnyshadow • 17 March 2012 at 12:22 AM
@silver_winged I know 😊 are you mad at me? You dont seem as friendly >.<~~~"But i can tell you one thing, the year erm... Galbatorix died, a few years back, a lady wearing a black cloak, with the hood on appeared on our doorstep. It was a dark night and the moon was full, and all we could see of the lady was a lock of long black hair. We could see nothing of her, and she said nothing, we tried to break into her mind to figure out who or what she was, but her mind was impossible to penetrate, the darkness seemed to envelop her but before she was gone, we could barely make out a word: Sylvia, and she was gone, and in her place Sylvia was standing.", Kyle said. He stood and continued,"We've raised he ever since and could never find out anything else, I think it best you leave now." Just thrn, Melody stepped in with a platter holding a cup of tea, she handed it to Ceren and nodded, as if she knew what had happened.
