@Bunnyshadow (Did I ever mention your character is... Very very creepy....? ._.)Ray's first instincts would have been to thrust his metal-coated hand into the guy's stomach. He managed to stop the potientially-deadly motion halfway, but didn't lower his guard. "Uh... Nice to meet you too, Vampy," Ray gave him a weird look and put a few casual steps in between his ear and the freaky's fangs. "He a friend of yours?" he addressed Margot with a slightly tetchy tone. Because God, if he was, then she seriously lacked taste in people.

@asi @bunnyshadowMargot stared out into the dark, her muscles tensing as the person stepped out into the open . . . however, it wasn't the mysterious stranger she'd been expecting. A frustrated sigh escaped her and she rolled her eyes in Ray's direction. "Far enough," she all but growled in reply, frustrated at having gotten so worked up about such a nothing.Suddenly, Fang appeared, and from out of nowhere. Margot jumped out of fright, her brown eyes growing wide and her hands flying up in front of her in self defense. When she recognized this person as well, a full scowl appeared on her face. "[yeep]," she spat, with an extra profanity thrown in before that. "Back off," she muttered in Fang's direction. "I know this kid."
bunnyshadow • 19 June 2012 at 10:32 AM
@asi (xD Are you kidding me? Fang's so cute x))@silver_winged~~~Fang's red eyes glimmered slightly with amusement at both Ray's and Margot's reactions. Then, at Margot's word, he shrugged and took a few steps back. "Do you have any food?," he asked Margot. He glanced at Margot as he spoke. Then, his eyes traveled to Ray, and Fang's gaze lingered on the boy's face and neck area. (._.) "If not, I'll have to eat him.", he said, referring to Ray.

@bunnyshadow *dies of choking*@silver_winged @jupiter_hollow @asi @skylark~~~~~~~~~~~~Frost saw Margot outside and headed out. When she finally came out, she saw Ray. To her surprise, Fang was already there. She cursed. How had he gotten there so quickly? she thought. "Do you have any food?" There was a pause. "If not, I'll have to eat him." Frost heard that as she came closer. "All right, Ray," Frost called, morphing her clip into a bow and a set of arrows. "What do you want?"

As Margot showed him go to the alley, he quickly nodded and waddled his way there. Embarrassed, he checked around him before he did his business. The alley was gloomy and stank of rat urine. After fixing his pants, he walked back, relaxed for the first time in a long while. While the randomly thrown-together group chatted, Aaron slipped back into sight. He quickly put the name Ray with the new guy, and Fang was looking idiosyncratic. Putting a note in his head to keep away from him, he wondered if they found a nice place yet. Smiling as he watched the quaint group that he was part of, he laughed to himself. His white teeth clashed with his dark skin and his already small eyes shrunk as he laughed, a deep ho-ho-ho.
asi • 19 June 2012 at 2:19 PM
"Now, that was just plain unnecessary," Ray sounded hurt, yet his eyes glittered softly. It was hard to put his finger on it, but... He didn't feel... Powerless, anymore. And he wasn't, either. Also, he didn't like this creep. Not in the least. He decided to ignore Vampy as much as possible. He was relieved to see Frost, though, and relaxed. "I was so worried about you guys! I came back to see how you were doing... And chyeah, was I right! Weren't you going to flee? You guys clearly don't know the first thing about running away!" he honestly looked concerned, but at the same time his casual smile was amused.
leafpelt • 19 June 2012 at 2:27 PM
@asi"Oh, my weapon? Just a reflex." Frost was cautious. Ray didn't seem the same. "Where have you been?" she asked automatically. She had to know. "That running away thing? Fleeing doesn't mean that. It means staying out of the radar. Besides, you don't seem much better yourself."Frost scoffed. It was true. If Ray was a little more careful, he probaly wouldn't have been spotted.
asi • 19 June 2012 at 2:42 PM
"Oh, no, not you. Him," he gave a careless gesture towards Fang. "Hmph. -I- never said anything about running," there was a new trace of arrogance in his tone. "As for where I've been..." he sighed. "You know, I'd have preferred a nice, friendly, "How have you been?" Mm. Well, I have to say, pretty good. Loki's hospitality really doesn't leave much to be desired, does it?" he remarked with a smirk.
leafpelt • 19 June 2012 at 4:06 PM
@asi Mind pinging me? XD~~~Frost was nearly ticked off by the sound of Ray's voice. He was so..smug. "Of course,"she said evenly. "Loki doesn't exactly give everyone free hugs and kiss babies. And you should know that I don't do nice and friendly. It's not my attitude." Frost added. "You seem to be traveling. Care to join?" Frost's voice was sickly sweet, almost poisonous. She rarely used it.
asi • 19 June 2012 at 4:34 PM
@Leafpelt (Scry X3)Ray shrugged at that. He hadn't been laying heavy on the sarcasm; he really had been implying that he'd enjoyed the stay, but whatever. "Depends. Where are you going?" he asked, looking innocently at her through his lashes.

Aaron decided to go ahead and go inside their new... home. Walking in, the kitchen in the first room had a faintly running tap, a broken stove and battered stovetop, the fridge was full of mould, random items and and dead bugs. The countertops were full of broken and dirty containers and the couch across the floor was in an ok shape. Overall, the main room was better then most other places and things Aaron had seen. Off either side of the kitchen were two similar doors, but one had a hole in it. Entering the one with the hole, Aaron sighed when the room was empty and really dirty, with a faint blue colour. The corner that faced the city was waterlogged and sagged towards the floor. Quickly backtracking, the second door without a hole had a small mouldy mattress and a upturned sidetable in the corner of the room. But, the walls, the floor, and the ceiling were a once-bright pink colour. "Ew. This is defiantly the girls' room." Aaron said outloud, to no one in particular.
silver_winged • 19 June 2012 at 7:29 PM
@asi @leafpelt @skylark @bunnyshadow @jupiter_hollowMargot's first priority was dealing with Fang. Ray's nickname for him seemed entirely appropriate--from the red hair to the pointed teeth, he seemed positively supernatural. Along with that, he was now threatening to eat her friendly acquaintance. "We have food," she replied slowly, with an intimidating amount of quiet control. "Just hold your [yeep] horses."Ray and Frost had continued their conversation while Margot had been addressing Vam--no, Fang. She shook her head just slightly, as if the disrespectful nickname might fall out one of her ears. Ray was behaving as his usual self: goofy, unfocused, always speaking with a meandering kind of criticism that made her wonder whether or not he was being serious. It would have discomforted her if he'd been speaking any other way.-c

"We're heading to Stark Tower," she replied decisively to Ray. "But we all need some food and a couple solid hours of rest, so we're settling down for the night. If you can keep yourself out of trouble, you can stay. Let's head in," she announced, raising her voice slightly to get the attention of the others. With that, she strode over to the entrance of the apartment complex they'd emerged from several hours earlier. She noted that Aaron had since disappeared from the group--she'd last seen him enter the burned house that Fang had investigated. With a scowl and a frustrated sigh, she called sharply, "Aaron! If you want to sleep in there, that's fine with me, but if you're staying with us then hurry it up!"
asi • 19 June 2012 at 9:19 PM
"Stark? Tony Stark?" Ray blinked. Well, DARN. Tony Stark had his own TOWER? This he HAD to see. But he really should be getting back... His nice prison cell seemed less alluring by the minute, and Stark Tower... Wow. His idol had a tower. He freaking had to go there.
bunnyshadow • 19 June 2012 at 10:02 PM
@asi@silver_winged@leafpelt@skylark@inkstep~~~Fang stood by as Margot spoke with Ray. He saw a tiny corner of what seemed to be an metal device sticking out of Margot's pocket. He stepped closer and stared at the device. "What is that?", he asked slowly. Fang impatiently waited for an answer.
leafpelt • 19 June 2012 at 10:29 PM
@bunnyshadow @asi @silver_winged @skylark Frost saw where Vamp-Fang was looking. That nickname was catchy. He was looking at the journal hologram cube/video. "Oh, that?" she muttered from the side of her mouth. "You really have to know everything already?" Then, she said tiredly, "At this rate, we might as well go straight to Stark Towers." Frost had wanted to treat her wound and rest up before traveling again. She turned to Ray. "You coming?"
bunnyshadow • 20 June 2012 at 12:10 AM
@leafpelt@asi (They're here for you >:-O)~~~"No.", Fang said. "It would be better to rest first, we've all decided already." He tilted his head to the side and showed her his vampire smile. "OK?", he asked, although it sounded like a statement. -The group of chitauri that Sylvia sent out earlier to get Ray have arrived two streets away from where everybody was. They split into groups of three and searched the buildings and alleys for the boy. Occasionally, when they found a rather large box or cabinet that could hols the boy, they would use an large blade and slice it in half.
asi • 20 June 2012 at 5:24 AM
Ray nodded eagerly, barely restraining himself from acting like a little schoolboy on a class trip. He couldn't begin to IMAGINE Stark Tower... He couldn't wait. Yet he had a strange sense of premonition; something bad was close by, they should start moving.
skylark • 20 June 2012 at 2:14 PM
Aaron quickly followed Margot's voice as she called his name. "Sorry!" He said quietly, hating to be in trouble or a bother. He wondered what Stark Towers was. Well, the name pointed out the obvious; Tony's buildings. But what would they contain? Much less, where were they? His eyes wide and full of wonder, Aaron was sure he'd never sleep tonight.

@skylark @asi @leafpelt @bunnyshadow @jupiter_hollowMargot angled her body so that her arms covered the pocket that Fang had been staring at. Her expression shifted into a defensive frown. However, she didn't spare a word on the topic, as the conversation had continued to move along. She shook her head in response to Frost's suggestion, despite the sudden enthusiasm of Ray. "Food and sleep," she asserted, and then turned to face the apartment complex. "In. Now."She strode to the doors with long, hasty steps, and then held one open for them. Margot decided she would be the last one in--she felt far safer if she did the locking up herself. Besides, it would be good to do a head count and make sure nobody was missing. Her mind strayed to the camcorder in her pocket that Fang had noticed, and she began to frown. In the past forty-eight hours, she had electrocuted the beloved daughter of Loki and then stumbled across the video diary of Tony Stark, dated before (and possibly during!) the fall of the Avengers. She had battled Loki's forces and amassed a small group--and on top of it all, Aaron's question still lingered in the back of her mind. It seemed to her that he had been asking if she herself was with the Avengers . . . her little midnight scavenger hunt had escalated into something she never could have imagined.
bunnyshadow • 20 June 2012 at 9:42 PM
@silver_winged@asi@skylark~~~Fang gave Margot an rather annoyed look when she didn't respond to his question. He waited until everyone had already stepped inside the building, before giving Margot a quick glance about how she stood by the doors, then he walked in himself. As he stepped inside, a large sigh escaped his lips, and an regretfull look crossed his face. Then, he sat on an old chair that seemed on the verge of breaking, and said, loud enough for everyone to hear,"Can I have something to eat now?"
asi • 20 June 2012 at 11:10 PM
Ray hesitated, then stepped inside. He felt uncomfortable, seeing Margot lock them up, but he suspected she wouldn't take very kindly to the idea they left the place open, and he knew she was the kind of person who could make his life very, very uncomfortable. He reminded himself to try and not get on her bad side. On noticing how the space was divided, he had to restrain himself from bashing his head against the wall repeatedly. "If you think I'm going to sleep in the same room as Vampy," he began shortly, rolled his eyes, then stopped. "Ah, forget it. There's no way I'll catch any Zz's in any case," Ray admitted, stretching. Distractedly, his gaze strayed over to the window, and he immediately sunk into a trance, deep in thought.Tony Stark... Why did these guys want to go there, anyway? After a moment, he decided to voice this query.
bunnyshadow • 20 June 2012 at 11:35 PM
@Asi~~~"I don't want to go there.", Fang said, accenting the 'want' in the sentence. "I'm just here to figure out what you all are doing." Suddenly, he turned and faced Ray. "Did you just call me Vampy?", Fang questioned as he looked out the shattered window set high in the wall. His thoughts began to stray to the time before Loki. He remembered eavesdropping on older people, and adults, as they talked in hushed voices about the time before the world was run by Emperor Loki and his army of aliens. He heard of sunshine, happiness, and huge advances in technology. There were beautiful structures and buildings, as well as animals. It made him sick just thinking about that time. Wonderful animals that would probably be extinct in this present day.His mood darkened.
asi • 21 June 2012 at 12:05 AM
"Correction; I just called you Vampy for the second time," Ray pointed out, trying not to sound too superior about it. He seriously wondered why the others didn't just tell this freak to beat it. They WERE breaking just about half the laws Ray knew off, and probably dozens more. Having someone who didn't even pretend to be friendly, trying to figure them out... Well, HE wouldn't have invited Vampy along, had this been his party. He didn't even know whether he'd invite himself along. These guys were a bit too friendly for their own good, in Ray's opinion.
silver_winged • 21 June 2012 at 12:23 AM
@asi @bunnyshadow I'm just going to move things along.--After making sure everybody was inside, Margot turned the lock to the double doors and then barred the handles with what had been a desk leg. After testing both those measures, she located the second desk they'd used to bar the door and dragged that up against it. Confident that they'd be all right for the night, she let out a sigh and headed for the stairwell."You'll eat once we get upstairs," she muttered to Fang, followed by: "Shut up, Ray. I don't want to hear it." Margot found herself thankful that Frost had volunteered to take the first watch--she was aware of her irritable tone and recognized that she probably needed some sleep. At the ninth floor she exited the stairwell and brought them out into a hallway. It was dark and shadowy; the multitude of electric lights that framed its walls had long been dead. She guided them all down to the end of the hallway (it seemed like it would be the biggest apartment) and forced the door open with her screwdriver.
asi • 21 June 2012 at 12:30 AM
Ray's lips twitched; he was amused. That was Margot, all right. "You can't always have what you want," he quipped in an annoying, sing-songy tone, humming as he followed her up the stairs. "I'll only stop bothering you when you answer the question, you know. I hate unanswered questions," he added. He was one of those people who, once they found a hole, couldn't stop digging. Curiosity, of course, killed the cat. Fortunately; or unfortunately, as they had nine lives, he wasn't a feline.
bunnyshadow • 21 June 2012 at 12:35 AM
@silver_winged@asi~~~Fang hissed at Ray. "I'll bite you.", he said in a grave tone. Then, he pushed himself up from his position on the ground, and started after Margot. He didn't even know why he asked for food in the first place. He wasn't the least bit hungry for the kind of food they probably had. Fang glanced at Ray's neck-face area again with a hungry expression.
leafpelt • 21 June 2012 at 12:42 AM
@asi @bunyshadow@silver_winged@skylark~~~~~Frost went to the guys' room. "Either you stay here, or sleep in the streets."she replied testily. She was losing patience. She tossed some food to Vam-Fang. "Would you stop asking for food?"she muttered. Frost started to wonder if Fang was emo.At Ray, Frost said, "If you don't trust him, get a stick." To prove this, she kept her arrows and bow out. "Who wants next shift?"she muttered quietly, hoping that no one would hear, although Frost was feeling slightly tired. She sat down on the couch, eating a can of oranges while watching for any activity.

@asi @bunnyshadow @leafpelt @skylark @jupiter_hollowThe apartment looked like it would have been very expensive. It had an open floor plan, with different rooms designated by oriental rugs or rows of counters or bookshelves. The kitchen was wide and spacious, with bar-style seating and stone countertops. Margot gestured at the pantry with a jab of her thumb. "Knock yourself out," she said in response to Fang, and then turned to face Ray.She took a moment to examine him with her lips pursed and her eyes narrowed in an unamused expression. There was some risk of explaining to him why they were heading to Stark Tower--namely, he'd have a lot more to report to Loki if they managed to catch him again. However, Margot had some trust in him, and silence was priceless. With a deflated sigh, she motioned for him to follow her into one of the bedrooms. The room looked as if it had belonged to children. A set of bunk beds was nestled pleasantly into the corner of the room, opposite a closet whose doors were painted with a mural of a phoenix. A toy chest sat up against the wall, and figurines of knights and dragons lined the dresser. The room was clean and tidy, as if someone had known that the children might not return to it for a while. "Close the door," she instructed Ray. She didn't want Fang eavesdropping on their conversation.
leafpelt • 21 June 2012 at 1:04 AM
@asi @bunnyshadow @silver_winged @skylark @jupiter_hollowFrost settled herself in. It was very...extravagant. It was tiring to stay on night watch, but it was better than the risk, Frost mused. She looked around. It almost seemed too quiet. Just almost.
