After Aizel's outburst, Ray was silent for a time, slightly ashamed. Then, slapped a hand to his face, looking tired. "Sorry..." he genuinely apologized. "I don't want to fight... Really."
He stared up at the sky, lost in thought. Maybe he really ought to go on his own. It'd probably do them all a world of good. And him, too. Ray never got so riled up, it wasn't natural. Yes... Him or Fang, one or the other of them was definitely on the wrong side.
"Well... I'm going to go... Get ready... Won't take long. Yell if there's anything I can do to help.... Or something," he sighed despondently for what felt like the zillionth time today, before heading to retreat behind a building.

Drawing in a dep breath, Aizel let it out in an exasperated sigh, heading after the boy in annoyance. All she'd intended to do was stop their fighting, not draw someone away. As everyone else, she had been forced to put up with the numerous events of today as well and it seemed as if particular people stood on the end of her nerves. An outbburst should have been fairly expected, given that the rest were presumably tired and annoyed as well. It had been a matter of time before someone blew up and it just happened to be her - strangely she regretted it being so. Taking the liberty of scolding both boys had earned her a guilt trip to Wonderland (she felt bad, but had no idea what to say).

"Dude, hold up, wouldya?" she exclaimed, trotting to catch up with the boy. Stopping at a distance from him, she yelled loudly. "I didn't mean to imply that!" The words made her pride wince - again, she had nothing to do but apologize. "Just didn't want you being on each other's necks." she continued, in a quiet manner, remembering Madge's warning - Chitauri could be anywhere and given they were near the Tower, it was a lot more dangerous. "...Sorry."

"What did I say?" Fang asked. He stared at Aizel with a weird expression before he sighed. "I think I'm going insane." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I NEED TO SLEEP. I've never gone so long withought sleeping. It's killing me." Fang said. He turned towards Margot and clung onto her arm.

"LET ME SLEEEEEEP. PLEASE. PELEASSEEEEE."

- O_O ... Agh. I must be REALLY tired... let me try that again...-

Fang shrugged and watched as Ray stormed off to who knows where, and then the girl, Aizel follow him and apologize. "How come I don't get an apology? I wasn't even arguing with him, if I remember correctly."

Ray shook his head to himself. Why should she apologize?!? It was him who'd acted so stupidly... He thought of Fang. Even if it had been a completely justified, and reasonable reaction. Anyway, he wasn't backing off because he was hurt of anything stupid like that; no, it was only because he was BURNING to... What should he call it? Create.
After walking a fair distance and finding a suitable spot on the grass; not damp, and flattened out the long stalks, he then closed his eyes and meditated.
Eventually, his fingers began moving, apparently on their own. It was a little like tracing the ghost of a string. You could feel it, but not see it. All there was to do was follow that little ghost string until you reached the end.
It didn't take long this time. When he was done, Ray tucked whatever it was he had made into his pocket, without so much as a glance. The only thing he noticed was that there were two of them.

Aykay looked sadly at the group. So much discord... it would be their downfall when the got to the hive.

"Having a randomly assembled group is not ideal." She said quietly, not wanting to assert herself. "Rather than choosing who goes where by volunteering and... by who we don't want to be with, we should be choosing based on the person's individual skills and abilities."

She wished she could go back to tiger form, but she needed her voice.

"A fire would be a lovely way to flush out the machines, but my only difficulty is that a fire will attract the machine master..."

Flashback again to the machine master barking orders at the machines and Aykay huddled in the corner, hoping she would ignore her. Maybe she'd visit the cell next to her instead...

Aaron nodded slowly. "Heavy sleeper... yeah, that sounds right." He smiled brightly at fire girl. "No worries! It was an easy fix. Flexing alright? If you put too much strain on it, there's a chance it will seize up. Just be careful when you're swimming as the foot flexing downwards can be painful to your healing."
Aaron put a hand to the mark, for the third time. "Oh, it's stopped hurting now, you're forgiven." He grinned sheepishly, "Thanks for shmucking me... I probably needed it. Oh? Your shade? You water this tree? Cause I think it needs a bit more water, looks a bit shabby."
He smirked at her, right before she started yelling at everyone to shut up. A bit dumbfounded, he watched her rage, sigh and then follow Sunshine.
Aaron shrugged then got up, and saw Margot. He looked away, blushing a bit. Why was he embarrassed? Well, touching her leg was quite a big part of it. In fact, it was the whole reason why he was embarrassed. Then, he saw them make plans, talking as if the Towers were a bee hive. They had no idea how right that term was.

Sylvia rolled her eyes as she bent down to pick up the Apple. She threw it up in the air and caught it a few times, before letting it rest on the small glass table besides her. Sylvia picked it up again, before throwing it at a chitauri.

Aykay clutched her head. The flashbacks were painful reminders of what she had vowed to keep away from... those nachines and that death trap of a tower...

She sat down and leaned up against a tree. Why was she going back? It was hopeless... and the machine master...

-These people are strong.- said the voice. -It's different than last time. You have a chance at making a difference.-

She wished that were true...

As Ray departed behind the building, walking out of view, Aizel was quick to trott back to her shady willow, under which still resided Aaron. She had arrived just in time to hear Aykay's speech and paused in her tracks, flashing her a wide grin while Aaron moved to free her shady space. "That's what I was trying to say!" she chirped to the tiger girl, plopping down on the ground where Aaron had sat. She had to admit, after Aykay's performance with the rabbit meat, she had believed the girl to be a mindless savage, but now she regretted her opinion. The shapeshifter could prove to be a powerful ally, a smart one too. And Aizel was more than willing to give her extra points for sharing her lunch...

Lowering herself down to lay under her willow, Aizel crossed both hands behind her head, giving out a content sigh and letting her eyes wander upwards. Her gaze travelled over every branch of the tree, every small emerald flower buds, embrased by opulent green leaves. The bark of the willow - a beautiful auburn color, stood out on the willow's rich green crown. For a small while, she would let herself depart from Madge's reality, from Frost and Ray, and Aykay, which stood nearby. All the familiar faces evaporated from her mind, a better, more beautiful sight occupying it. Thin rivers of sunlight seeped from between the branches, shining merrily on her face and making small sunny spots on the grass around. The tiny, content smile on her face was illuminated brightly.

Aykay decided to motivate the group a little.

"I think we should get to know one another in order to best plan this mission..." she said. It sounded so cheesy... "Names... powers... y'know?"

"Okay, so I have two traps, one cooked rabbit, and one uncooked squirrel." She said. They would find a way to use the traps, and probably eat too.
She listened to the tiger-person say something about a fire as a distraction. A fire? "If you need a fire, I can help," she said, taking the lighter from her glove. She could also just light it up personally, but she still wouldn't. She never told or showed the ability to anyone, mostly just because she was afraid of the chitauri recognizing her, and attacking her. Of course, joining the group made her a subject of the chitauri already, maybe even of someone who controlled them. Aside from Loki, there was no way he could be paying attention to them.

While taking a few moments simply to rest, leaning his back against the cool stone of the ruined building, Ray suddenly remembered something he'd already made, something with a... Similar feel, quite a while ago. He wondered if he still had it. Digging around in his backpack for a moment, his hand chanced on something; small, hard, sort of teardrop shape, that was it.
He fixed it to his ear and adjusted the connection and range with a simple touch, like he'd done it just yesterday.
"...order to best plan this mission... ...Names... powers... y'know?"
That was Stripes's voice. So, it still worked. Hearing amplifier. He listened in with interest. Powers? What was she talking about?? Ray recalled Vampsy saying something similar to him once. He scratched his head in puzzlement.
"Okay, so I have two traps, one cooked rabbit, and one uncooked squirrel." A voice, belonging to a girl he couldn't quite put a name or face to, spoke. "If you need a fire, I can help."
Ray considered himself lucky he hadn't made a lighter or some such. He knew that much, at least.

Aykay sighed. She supposed her usefulness was limited to her knowledge of the tunnels.

-Stop that.- said the voice. -It's depressing.-

She transformed back into a tiger. Her time for talking was done. She could return to her comfort zone. She rolled over onto her side and decided to let the others make the decisions.

Frost silently groaned. They were all so..childish, sometimes....she wished she could just get out, give up on this, and just get the He double-l out of there. Besides, she was a pretty impatient person. She started to look for exits, traps, or chituari, but it seemed quiet. That tiger-girl had turned back into a tiger..so Frost took out her clip and changed it into her archery set.

Aaron clenched his jaw and fists, angry that they weren't doing anything. "Sitting ducks, sitting ducks.. sitting, ducks." he murmured to himself, then stomped the ground. "GUYS! Tiger's right. We need to get together and work this out. We need to get to the Tower, and no one can do it alone. So, make a list of people's names and their abilities. Then, we can all mutually agree about who goes to the distraction group, the tunnel group, and the top-floor group. 3 groups, 9 people, which equals to 3 people per group." He whipped out a piece of paper and a stump of lead, quickly jotting down names. The list read;
'Aaron - healing
Aizel - ???

Fang - walk through objects
Frost - ???
Margot - laser eyes

Ray - ???'
"I'm missing a few people... Trap-girl, new girl, and Tiger."

Startled from her peaceful rest under the shady willow, Aizel jolted up, annoyed expression firmly fixed on her face. Messy hair fell nonchalantly over her squinted black eyes. She sat up and scooped closer to the tree trunk and leaned against it, drawing out a sigh.
"Fine, fine." she whined, glancing sideways at Aaron, scribbling in his piece of paper. He was amusingly goofy, she had to admit that. He was either gravely silent or yelling his head off. She grinned. "Tsk, troublesome." she muttered, crossing her legs and resting her hands on them.

"Okay, I'll start." she announced proudly, a wide grin stretching her lips. "My name is Aizel Kay Lauren Tylk!" her loud voice penetrated the silence.

Andrew had a piece of magnet in his hand, and was levitating it. It was sailed through the air and hit the apple mid-flight. The apple hit the chitauri's head and the magnet inside exploded, causing the chocolately apple to explode on the chitauri, making a terrible mess.
Andrew chuckled to himself, amused. The chitauri spun around and started chattering angrily in his native language, accusing the other chitauri while rubbing the back of his head.

Aaron looked up at Aizel, "Okay... what's your power? I'm also missing Frost's power/skill and Ray's power/skill too." He looked around, trying to figure out who he was missing. He scratched the back of his head, and wiped his forehead. The lead from the stump left a huge mark on his forehead, so he looked like a warrior or something. Oblivious to what he did, Aaron tapped his lip with the lead, marking even more on his face.

"This is like show and tell." Fang said with a roll of his eyes before he stopped slouching and instead stood like a normal human being. He tried to smile warmly, but instead it looked creepy and cold. "Hi everyone!" he said cheerfully. "My name is Fang, I eat raw meat, I like blood, and my special power is the ability to walk through solid objects!" He paused, and looked around. "Oh ya, and I forgot to mention, I can bite people with my fangs and turn them into vampires." When he finished talking, he leant against an old street light.
-
Sylvia bit her bottom lip to keep from laughing. After a few seconds, she couldn't hold it in anymore, so she turned away from the chitauri and tried taking a few deep breaths. It wasn't the exploding chocolate apple that was making her laugh, but what the two aliens were yelling at each other.

"If only you knew what they are saying." she whispered.

Raising an eyebrow, Aizel observed as the boy dirtied his hands with some lead. "Oi, look out, that's-"... 'dirty' she had been intending to say, but Aaron had already slapped a whole lot of lead on his head. She stared a while, wide-eyed at the huge spot of black on the boy's dark skin and then doubled over, laughing. As if to worsen the situation, Aaron had stained his mouth with it too.

At that point, she had already tipped backwards, tears brimming on her eyes from laugher. "Sorry, sorry, your face." she hiccuped, holding her stomach.

"Aykay. Shapeshifter." She said. "But that much is obvious."

Margot could fill most of the list in herself. Frost had her morphing weapons, Aizel could street fight, and Ray could run fast. Then there was Warm Hands, the girl who'd volunteered to go in place of Ray, and Stripes. The groups were starting to come together quite clearly in her head.

"Top floor group can only be two people; I can't carry more than one person up with me," she reminded Aaron. "But I think we have these groups worked out. Aykay, you're captain of the underground team. I want you to take Frost, Fang, and . . . " Margot pointed at the girl with the warm hands. She couldn't remember her name. "Her. That's assuming she can start fires. If not, switch her for somebody with a lighter or matches.

"Ray, I want you to captain the distraction group. You can run faster than anybody I know, which is going to be a useful skill. Aizel, blonde girl, you're with him. Aaron," she said, her voice trailing off. "I guess you're going with me. Can't have you slowing them down. Any objections?"

"Sure." She tossed the squirrel to Fang. Since nobody else said anything, she started digging into the rabbit.
She heard them say something about invading, and knowing their names and abilities. Abilities? She could say something... Or not.
"Name, Pyra. Ability, I'm not saying anything, just keep me in mind if you want a fire." She stuck the lighter back into her glove.
"Oh, and does anyone have a handy place for a knife?" She was not going to stick it up her glove too.

Aykay was stunned. Captain of the underground team?

No. Absolutely not. She could not be expected to lead anything could she? Navigate the tunnels, yes. Have responsability for three other people? No way.

"Hey, um..." she wished she knew Bossy's name. "I don't think I... should be in charge... I can navigate, but..."

-You are wise in this. You don't exactly have prime leadership skills.- said the voice.

This was true, but somehow it hurt her feelings a little.

"I can hold your knife." Fang said as he shot a creepy smile towards Ray. He caught the squirrel, and ripped the animal in half, before throwing the top half towards Aykay. "For the rabbit leg." he said.

Fang turned towards Aykay when she spoke. "Your the only one that knows the tunnels. I'm sure the 3 of us that are going with you can take care of ourselves." he said.

Suddenly, he stopped. "Oh my f***ing god. I just tried to reassure someone."

Heading back, Ray raised an eyebrow at that, having heard Margot's voice loud and clear through the amplifier. Distraction? That wasn't... To his liking. But he supposed it wouldn't be too bad, with Aizel and whatshername blondie, which was a good shot better than the other alternative. He sighed, and after a few more moments, turned the corner.
"How very flattering," he spoke innocently as he took a seat, at the same time hurriedly removing his amplifier before someone spoke and blasted his ears off. Ray tilted it in his fingers so that it caught the light and smiled mischievously.
That faded as he grew serious. "You sure you want Wonderboy with you though?" he did ask, just to make sure. "As much as I am concerned about your health, he is our only healer," he counseled. And though he didn't know the building, it sounded like they'd be the most isolated group, the smallest, and less likely to have Chitauri trouble. Ray should've put the kid with the largest group, for safety on both sides- but, hey, Margot was leader.
"Anywayy~," he glanced at the two girls of his team and resumed his smile. "I guess this could be fun."
He pretty much ignored Fang and his freak-out, despite it being incredibly amusing.

Aykay transformed quickly and caught the squirrel in her tiger mouth. She quickly devoured it, spitting out the bones and fur. It wasn't much, but she did get the top half...

She wasn't quite sure what Fang's issue was, but he was a strange guy. As for the other two... There was the girl who'd called herself Pyra who had offered the fire-starting and then Bossy had said something about a girl called Frost... She wasn't sure which one that was...

Margot stared down at Aykay for a moment, frowning slightly. Not wanting to be in charge was something she'd never wholeheartedly experienced. Power, in her opinion, was a good thing. "It just makes sense for the one who knows the way to be the leader. If you really don't think you can do it, I'll have Frost step up. But try to consider it." She raised an eyebrow at Fang. That certainly was out of character for him.

So Pyra was the girl's name. It was oddly appropriate. "That's just what we need," she confirmed with a nod. "And Fang can back you up. We want a fire on every floor, if you can manage it. Every other floor if you don't think you have time. Aykay, you know how to get them through the building. Try to pick the best spots for fires. Fang, see if you can do some scouting ahead, seeing as you can run through walls. Frost, I'd like you to keep your bow out and fire at any Chitauri interference. You're the heavy hitter of the group. Keep 'em safe."

She turned to frown at Ray. He was certainly feeling very sassy. "He can't go with you or Aykay," she pointed out. "Kid can't run. If either of your groups gets into a sticky situation, he'll be the first to go down. And we do need a healer. If all goes according to plan with me, all we'll be doing is stealth. Seems like the safest place for him."

Aykay nodded. Maybe she could...

She transformed back to her human form reluctantly and turned to the others.

"We should go right now. The entrance to the tunnels is way out of the way, so we should get a headstart on the others." she instructed. "In order to get there faster, I'm going to have to transform, which means I can't talk. So you all are just going to have to watch me and keep up, because I won't be able to yell instructions. If you see the machine master either on the way or in the tunnels or the tower, make sure the rest of the group is aware and run. Do not try to fight her. Any questions?"

-Impressive speach.- laughed the voice.
