Aykay was relieved to hear Margot's reply. She felt her way through the dark, since Pyra had not yet answered about lighting up the tunnel."Next left." She said, feeling the wall of the tunnel. "Pyra, if you can, a little light would be wonderful."She turned her attention back to the transmitter."Why exactly are we going in, Margot?" She asked. "What are we hoping to find?"@silver_winged@leafpelt@bunnyshadow@meixiaotian

When Akyay got back up, she turned her attention away.Pyra stared at one of the walls for a while. Why were they going to Stark Tower? What could they possibly need there? She only had two ideas. Either there was something that could overthrow Loki in there, or one of the Avengers were somehow there, prisoner. But that wasn't possible. The only living one was Thor, and he was not here. Those would be the only things she would choose to plunge into one of the only important, chitauri-infested places for.So what was going to happen anyway? They weren't going to be able to peacefully survive, and they were not going to be able to fight Loki. She heard one of them say something, but she ignored it. Then she realized they had started to leave. Fuzz! She hurried to follow."Next left." Tiger-person said. "Pyra, if you can, a little light would be wonderful."Oh yeah. She dashed back to the the entrance and ripped off part of the wood. She pulled out the lighter. It didn't work at first. It did the second time, after she pressed on it with her bare left hand. Her glove was placed back on and she went back to the others."Light. Don't worry about me either, my gloves are fireproof." She said.

@silver_winged Aaron quickly looked up at the call of his name. He stood up, and blushed furiously when she asked him to 'grab around my waist.' "Um.." He started, then cut off. "Ah, ok." Wrapping his chubby arms around her slender waist, Aaron bit his lip at the thought of what they were going to do. Gosh, would he live? He hoped so, he wished to have kids.. and lots of them. "Are you sure?" He asked quietly, not really about what Margot's thoughts on wall-climbing but more to reassure him about this quest.
dada_dragon • 29 August 2012 at 8:34 PM
Aykay nodded and turned. She walked about halfway down the tunnel when she saw something shining in the light of Pyra's torch. She picked it up. It was a bracelet..."Amira..." she said quietly. So she had found the tunnel as well..."Down this side tunnel." She said, pocketing the necklace. They were close now and she couldn't get distracted now.@meixiaotian@leafpelt@bunnyshadow

"No funny business," Margot warned Aaron sternly. She wrapped the tape measure around the both of them and tied it in the front like a belt. "And yes, I'm sure. This needs to happen."Truthfully, Margot had quite a set of potential plans for when they broke into Stark Tower. First and foremost was to snoop around Stark's personal living space. She had no idea what they'd find, but somewhere, there had to be relics of his technological work. Anything from blueprints to a prototype of the Iron Man suit. Something that would give them a leg up.Deep inside, she desperately wanted to take back the building permanently. It was an abomination that such a symbol for justice be perverted by Loki's cruel sense of humor. It served as the base for the Avengers, once upon a time. It only seemed appropriate for it to be the birthplace of the revolution.-c

Additionally, Stripes had been talking and talking about the prisons within the tower. From what Margot had been able to gather, Loki was using it as a prison for rebels. Assuming they could get their act together, they could free imprisoned rebels. She believed that if the time came, humanity would stand behind her in the battle against Loki. But for now, this would be the easiest way to rally an army. Additionally, every prisoner had at one point been deemed a threat to the regime. They were the perfect soldiers."Hope," she replied to Aykay. "We're going in for hope. Tell me when you're in." With that, she slapped her hands firmly to the building, hitched her first foot against the wall, and began the climb.

Her clunkly spaceboots clicked against the ancient, broken roof tiles of bygone days as she walked. The great thing about these huge chunky things was their amazing grip. The girl's balance was pretty good, but it was windy at this height, and the roof tiles were, as previously said, old and treacherous. The wind, which had been wrestling with her hood, suddenly succeeded and the latter fell back, revealing a mass of wild pink hair, which when released tumbled down to about the halfway mark of her back. The girl smiled slightly; she had never cared for the neat and tidy, it was only out of persistent habit had she absentmindedly restrained her locks earlier that day.Wrapping her button-heavy and rather impractical (fashion rather than weather-protection?) trench coat tighter around her tiny torso (motivated by desire to prevent the coat's annoying flapping, not the cold), West proceeded along the rooftop, her face completely blank. Not expressionless or without emotion exactly, just utterly blank. Like she wasn't thinking of anything. The building she was standing on now was in fact the second tallest as far as the eye could see. She liked high places, despite numerous bad experiences in the past of them. The only taller one... Her distant, dreamy gaze slowly fell upon the tower."I suppose... We'll go there, Muu," she looked down, apparently speaking to the soot-coloured cat plushie she was hugging childishly to her stomach.Unsurprisingly, there was no answering response.

As they walked down the tunnel, Aykay fingered the bracelet. It brought back old memories...
skylark • 31 August 2012 at 8:59 PM
Aaron nodded meekly when she warned him. Secretly terrified, he shut his eyes as he bit his lip until he could taste blood. The wind surprised him; he'd never been this high. Not even a hovercraft or an airplane or anything like that... much less the side of a tall glass building.

@Aizel @Skylark @Silver_winged @Asi @Dada_dragon~~~"True." Sylvia said. "Or." she added as she turned from looking out the window to Andrew. "Who do you think he is?" Sylvia suddenly asked, referring to the boy with the long hair that they had met before.-Angel stopped when Aizel motioned for her to stop. She paused and scanned her surroundings, her gaze stopped on a rather large group of chitauri in the street. Angel pressed her back to the wall and tilted her head to look the other way, and in addition to the darkness, both Aizel and Ray couldn't see her face. She pulled out a small communicator device and whispered into it, warning both Sylvia and Andrew that the rebels were heading for Stark Tower. Angel glanced back at the chitauri, before speaking again, but this time, of their plan.Once she was done, she pocketed the small device with ought listening for a response, then she turned her head towards Aizel and Ray, with questioning eyes. "When do I cross?" she mouthed.-Fang watched as Aykay picked up a silver bracelet from the tunnel ground. "How long till we're there?" he inquired.
jupiter_hollow • 1 September 2012 at 4:50 PM
@bunnyshadow @asi 😸Crouched by a wall with Ray nearby, Aizel poked her head slightly from behind the corner, inspecting the view - the Chitauri seemed to be talking about something (she hadn't even suspected they could speak) Well... more like arguing, hence the affray that eventually broke out between them. The beasts were distracted, it was probably Angel's only chance.'Now' she mouthed back at Angel, raising a hand and motioning for her to approach cautiously. As nobody else had view of the Chitauri, she made sure to keep a firm gaze locked onto them - she needed to monitor their activity strictly. In case they decided to approach them, she would be the first to know. As of now, things seemed calm. There was a lot she worried about, though. In case they were seen or spotted, they'd definitely be overpowered by numbers. Ray and her were easy - dude could run and she had her guns. Angel on the other hand seemed to be the weak link. The girl hadn't crossed yet and if she blew up their cover, she'd be the first one to go down. So all had to remain discreet until the blonde was in safety.Another thing she wondered about... They were the distraction team, the ones who should draw the Chitauri's attention away from Stark Tower in order to give other teams a clean way in. So far, they'd done no distracting whatsoever."What do you hear?" she asked Ray out of the blue. She recognized the device hooked to his ear.
asi • 1 September 2012 at 4:57 PM
Absorbed in trying to catch and decipher the Chitauri's conversation and footwork, to know if they were coming this way or not, Ray was surprised when he heard Angel's voice muttering something, interfering with his hearing. At first, he was merely annoyed, as he assumed she was talking to herself, mumbling some kind of prayer. But when he caught, "Stark Tower," he immediately changed plan and tuned his hearing enhancer onto her. He got enough that he knew she was talking about their plans. An ally? Unlikely, or else she should have mentioned it. More likely... An enemy. He slowly turned his head to Aizel and gave her a significant warning look, laden with dark implications. She could make of that what she would.

@asi @bunnyshadow 😱😊😸😃😊😋"What do you hear?" Aizel questioned Ray again, fairly annoyed when she didn't receive an answer, but once she turned to face him and caught glance of his expression, she frowned. It was noticeable that something was wrong. Not that Ray was always a bouncing ball of sunshine or anything, but her first wild guess was - trouble. She'd been distraught and cautious from the beginning of their 'mission' but had kept quiet, mostly because of her previous argument with Ray - it would have been awkward to complain to the person you yelled at about having butterflies in your tummy... But now, she regretted not doing so. She was sure something was off, it wasn't a premonition, it was something she knew would happen...Returning the warning look with a confused one, Aizel frowned."What's wrong? Who do you hear?" She didn't fear Chitauri or any mechanical beasts, but Sylvia and that other one, the emperor guy - they made even her shudder. She refused to even think that it was them Ray detected. She looked around, noticing the situation they were in. The street was evenly arrayed with colossal buildings and some plain flats, which didn't offer a good hiding place - any building could be a potential hornets nest for the disgusting creatures. There also stood the question about distraction... In case of an attack, they were obliged to create a diversion for the monsters and draw them away.

@jupiter_hollow@asi~~~Angel crossed as quickly as possible, as soon as she saw Aizel mouth the word 'Now'. She arrived just in time to catch Aizel's questions. Angel turned to give a questioning look towards Ray, and just as she was about to say something to the boy, her eyes locked onto the device Ray had hooked to his ear. Her eyes narrowed for a split second at the idea of being discovered simply by this over-looked detail. But, it would be best to feign innocence until it was obvious that they no longer trusted her.
asi • 1 September 2012 at 6:06 PM
"The Chitauri are heading back towards the Tower now. Obviously, that's not so good. We'll want to draw all the Chitauri outside the building, of course, so that when the fire starts up we're behind it and in the tower, and they can't get to us," he whispered rapidly, ignoring Aizel, instead taking leadership and going over everything just to make certain everyone understood. "Lights, camera, action," he mused to himself, under his breath. "Now," he smiled sweetly at both of them, careful not to focus on one any more than the other. "If anyone happens to be in possession of some kind of sound amplifier or some such transmitter, or, you know, a communicator like the kinds I gave Aykay and Madge? Now would be a good time." He made sure to keep his expression as innocent as possible.
dada_dragon • 1 September 2012 at 6:11 PM
"Right up there." Said Aykay, pointing up.A short ladder lead up to a trap door. This door would open up into the basement level of Stark Tower."Fang, you're our scout, so you go up first and let us know if you see anything dangerous."-You had better hope he doesn't die, or it's on your head for telling him to go first.- taunted the voice."Just be careful." She added.@bunnyshadow@leafpelt@meixiaotian
bunnyshadow • 1 September 2012 at 6:25 PM
@Asi@Dada_dragon~~~Angel shook her head, not quickly, but also not slowly. "Why?" she asked quietly, before shifting her weight to her other foot. "It doesn't matter. I don't have one, anyways." Angel stated, just as softly as before.-Fang gave a small nod, before walking in front of the others and looking up at the trap door. With a small sigh, he put a foot on the ladder, testing to see if it could support his weight. When it didn't break, he started climbing. Once he got to the trap door, he opened it and went up.
dada_dragon • 1 September 2012 at 6:45 PM
Aykay watched as he went up. She once again looked at the bracelet.
asi • 1 September 2012 at 7:10 PM
"Because," he explained, "with very little effort I'd be able to get in the Chitauri frequency. We'd be able to hear every message they send to each other, every message anyone higher up sends them... And we'd be able to send them OUR message," Ray concluded. "So, are you sure you can't help?" he looked at her through his dark eyelashes, a shockingly good puppy impression.@Bunnyshadow
bunnyshadow • 1 September 2012 at 10:50 PM
@dada_dragon~~~Once Fang had gotten up, he took a quick look around, and he closed the trap door in case anything saw him. He backed up against the wall, and his form shimmered before he went through to the next room. This went on for a while, and almost every single room on the current floor they were on had at least two chitauri. The hallways also had them pacing back and forth. With a sigh, he headed back towards where he remembered the trap door would be. Just as he was about to open the door that led back to the tunnel, he was spotted. The alien started clicking and chattering, before pulling out his a gun and taking a few shots. Quickly, before the alien could cause any more noise, he ran at it, while pulling out two knives and slashing it's head off it's body.He kicked the body onto the trap door, as he picked up the head. Better not leave the dead body behind, as to not warn the other aliens that they were around. Fang opened the door, and kicked the body done, before throwing the head down. Once he was sure the body and head had reached the ground, he stepped onto the ladder and pulled the trap door closed.

Aykay shrieked as the machine fell almost directly at her feet. Its head was clean off... must be Fang...As he descended the ladder, Aykay breathed a sigh of relief."So what's up there?" She asked.By the looks of it, there were definately machines... but only Fang knew how many...@bunnyshadow@meixiaotian@leafpelt
bunnyshadow • 2 September 2012 at 1:44 AM
@Asi@Dada_dragon~~~"Yes, Ray." She said calmly, though her eyes flashed menacingly. "I'm very sure." Angel clenched her hands into a fist, her nails digging into her skin. "Why, are you asking?" She added, this time sounding more like her normal self.-"Chitauri. And a few humans that are on Loki's side." Fang said.
asi • 2 September 2012 at 2:09 AM
Ray rolled his eyes. This was... More difficult than he'd have liked. This girl was NOT his kind of person. Ray should have admitted himself a spy with a bow and a wave (before skedaddling) if he'd been in her shoes. Of course, Ray hadn't even asked if she were one, he'd only asked for the communicator, sheesh. Should he press this now..? Well, it'd be no good to have her stabbing them in the back later."I really, really hate liars, you know that?" Ray sighed, leaning casually against the wall. "And we have to hurry. So we can do this the easy way, or we can do this the hard way. Angel. I'm not going to tell you a third time. Give me one good reason why I should let you keep that communicator and breathe." He wasn't threatening, or annoyed. In fact, he merely looked... Disappointed in her.
bunnyshadow • 2 September 2012 at 2:16 AM
@Asi~~He knew. Angel knew that he knew. And Ray probably knew that she knew that he knew. An arrogant smirk appeared on her face one Ray finished speaking. "So you heard." Angel said coldly. "I do wonder where you got the hearing enhancement device." She waited for the boys response, all the while keeping an eye on Aizel, as well as mentally preparing herself for the usage of her.... power.
dada_dragon • 2 September 2012 at 2:43 AM
Aykay nodded."Okay. In that case, we need to alter our plan a bit. Last time I was in, there were no patrols in the basement levels. Obviously they know that I got in through the basement, but haven't found the trapdoor yet. We need to attack and be lighting fires at the same time, seeing as they aren't about to just sit there and watch us torch the place."She pointed at Pyra. "You'll be lighting fires, obviously, but I know I can trust you to defend yourself as needed." she then pointed to Fang. "I'm going to go ahead and assume that you're a stronger fighter than I am, so I'll take your lighter and you'll combat the machines." She pointed at Frost. "Whatever you can do to stop the machines, go for it. Any objections?"@meixiaotian@leafpelt@bunnyshadow
asi • 2 September 2012 at 2:56 AM
@Bunnyshadow We will now wait for @jUPITER_hOLLOW, agreed?"Duhh. Made it myself, of course; you can't find anything this good in the factories, and definitely not in shops," Ray looked at her searchingly. "So, you're going to be difficult. And not so long ago I was thinking about how well we were all doing."Considering his fight with Aizel? Pretty laughable. Still, even though they had argued, he did LIKE Aizel. She was a bit like Margot. He felt as though he could learn to understand her.Well, they'd better be able to work together now, because it looked like little Wings wanted a fight. He lifted his armored hand up to his face so that their angelic friend couldn't help but notice, and clenched it into a fist. Ready to fight.Although, he rather hoped Aizel could handle it by herself. Mm. Well, he supposed, the sounds of battle would draw Chitauri to them like bees to honey...

Andrew thought, then shrugged. "Probably a neutral. Or a secret Loki follower. Defiantly not a Avenger Rebel." He said before a small device beside Sylvia buzzed, then a young girl's voice crackled out of it. She said something about Rebels heading to Stark Tower. Andrew raised his eyebrows. "Ooh, looks like there's going to be a party." He grinned, then ordered more defending Chitauri to the Tower. "Make sure you don't underestimate the Rebels. Most of them are kids, but strong kids." He told the transmitter.@bunnyshadow
bunnyshadow • 2 September 2012 at 7:02 PM
@dada_dragon~~~Fang pulled the lighter out of his pocket and tossed it at Aykay. "Very well." he said. "A warning: There MAY be chitauri searching in the room the trap door leads to. I wasn't very quite about killing the alien." Fang said.-Sylvia smiled playfully at Andrew. "He's not fairly bad looking." she said. Sylvia didn't turn her head as she listened to Angel speak, but she did sigh as Andrew spoke. "Very well."
dada_dragon • 2 September 2012 at 8:09 PM
Aykay sighed. Good thing that Margot had picked a good team. She did a mental summary.Frost had that transforming weapon. Aykay wasn't sure of the extent of its abilities. Fang's powers were a mystery to her, but he had decapitated that machine pretty cleanly, so she probably didn't want to know. Pyra was also a mystery, but she'll dropped enough hints that it involved fire in some way or another so the specifics weren't important."Okay, let's move in."@meixiaotian@leafpelt@bunnyshadow
leafpelt • 3 September 2012 at 12:32 AM
@dada_dragon@bunnyshadow@meixiaotian~~~~Frost rolled her eyes. At first, Aykay seemed cool, but now she seemed like Margot Version 2. "Sure,"she said, then muttered, "Mother." She thought about what weapons her clip can use. A scythe would seem cool, even though it could be considered a farming tool, she thought. Focusing on an image of a scythe, she stared at her clip. It turned into a scythe, all sharpened and all. But when she tried to focus her clip into a gun, they're weren't any bullets inside. Frost sighed and kept experimenting absentmindedly.
