The Mars Mining ~*Role Play*~

It was unheard of when the first man stepped on the moon. People challenged them, they didn't believe. Though, some of them believed in the once was fantasy, and saw it the whole way through. They watched it in the ups and downs, but didn't lose hope.

Then about a thousand years later, they had launched another rocket, but this time it was headed for Mars. This time though, everyone believed it could be done. If we could fly to the moon, why not Mars? It had been questioned for so long, and it worked.

Now about twenty years after the landing of the Mars rocket, humans have settled on the planet. They live life like they did on Earth. Most jobs on Mars, however, are mining. Well, ever since they found the rocks that were deep inside the planet.

After they found the rocks, it seemed that whoever came in contact with them got very sick, and then died. It didn't matter if the person was on Earth or Mars, they still died if they touched it.

Then they released that it wasn't cause by the jewel, but by the glow. It didn't stop sales though, and more families lost loved ones. Almost everyone who had family members who worked in the mines, wanted them to stop, to shut the mining companies down.

It didn't happen, more people died. Earth, where almost all of jewels went too, died out. The plants, animals, and humans were all dead with in a few months. Now, it only the inhabitants of Mars that's left, and even Mars is dying out.

Name: Kat Morgan
Age: 13
Gender: Female

Appearance: Kat has a small frame and strawberry blonde hair. Her face has a bridge of freckles that goes over her nose and onto her cheeks. She has hazel eyes, and long lashes. Her strawberry blonde hair reaches her chest and falls down in small ringlets. Kat has bangs that partially cover her left eyes and are straight. She's average height for a 13 year old girl.

Personality: Kat is sarcastic, but isn't when it's not a good time. She's also very quiet sometime, and shuts people out. Kat isn't good at expressing when she's sad, and usually puts on a mask of happiness, that usually falls apart.

Crush: None

History: Her father worked in the mines and quickly fell ill, and passed on. She took on odd jobs while her mother sold the gems. It was just here and her little sister when her mother died, and then her little sister went. Kat now takes care for herself and is looking for someone who really knows what's going on.

Name: Narcius Bayonett "Noir"
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Average heigh, well built chest and shoulders, slim and fast legs. He has a natural healthy tan, blending with his medium brown (chestnut) hair, cut to reach no lower than his ears. So far, nothing special. His most striking feature, however, are the eyes. His left one is colored a dark chestnut brown, a few hues darker than his hair, while the right is a contrasting electric blue.
Personality: Quiet and withdrawn. At first sight he seems to be an introvert, but in all truth that's not the case. He's simply lost the ability to socialize and finds it difficult and embarassing to do so. Therefore, to keep from doing that, he tends to subconsciously draw people away from himself. His nature is analytical and often, he finds himself inspecting from the side, decoding expressions and calculating silently. Through his different eyes, he can see past an emotion, feeling, past any kind of behaviour, and unravel true intentions. He arrogantly finds everyone around him transparent, capable of being looked into, even though he himself isn't a good actor, and often lets strong feelings (mainly anger) show underneath his surface. Despite all these flaws, he hasn't lost the capability of being human - to the very few people he finds a connection to, he is kind (although to an extent).
Crush: None.
History: Born on Earth, in a family of salesmen and forced to practice that craft, Noir grows up to be an intelligent boy, despite the lack of proper education. When the gems were introduced to his country's industry, he too became intrigued with this Moon product. Lester, his greedy excuse of a father, quickly began trading with the expensive gems, but soon found himself on a death bed Noir gladly farewelled him from. Having no desire to expose the rest of his family to the hermful glow, he gathered all gems and set off along his way. Keen on discovering further information of the gems, he proceeded to investigate on the planet Moon - their source. Now resides on Mars.
Family: Mother - Nadia (unknown location), bigger sister - Marion (unknown location), father - Lester (killed by gems).

Gender: Female
Appearance: Cassandra is a tall girl, at a height of 5'9, with a slim figure. Her hair is an odd, bright blue color, with black tips, and curls down to her waist. She has many piercings, a bellybutton one, 3 piercings on each ear, nose piercing, and a lip piercing. She is also known as the 'emo' girl at her school, and was often teased about it, and bullied because of it. Her natural hair color is a light blonde, so light, it could almost be white. Her eyes are a deep emerald green, as if someone carved out emeralds and inserted them as eyes, paired with long lashes. She also has many scars on her skin, made from her daring personality as a kid.
Personality: Cassandra is a daring teenager, willing to take extreme risks and dares. Her scars were all made from dares her friends gave her, most of them like ' jump off a moving car on the highway ' and ' jump off the tallest tree in your yard, and try to land on the concrete side walk . ' She is easily angered as well, although she cannot hold a grudge, at all. She also hates when people are mad at her, she can't stand it at all, as it makes her feel like she needs to do something about it.

History: At a young age, she suffered from depression, and she began cutting herself, and became known as the 'emo' girl at her school. She was often teased and shunned because of it, and didn't have many friends, though the friends she did have were quite close, and special to her. Her parents didn't care much about her, and preferred her younger brothers, who, unlike her, were little shy kids, unwilling to socialize with others. She could do anything she wanted, really, and her parents wouldn't mind. Cassandra was bullied often, and when she complained to her parents, they said to ' grow up and fight back' .

She also considers Tristan a brother, although they aren't really related.

Gender: Male
Appearance: Tristan is a tall, muscular boy, with auburn colored hair, and light blonde tips, which falls to his shoulders in an 'emo' style. He has a lip piercing, and a nose piercing. His eyes are a startling electric blue, and if you look closely, they seem to be turning gray towards the middle. Tristan, like Cassandra, has many, many scars covering his body, all of them from dares that Cassandra, and his other friends made. At school, he was known for his great art skills, something he got from his mom.
Personality: Tristan, similar to Cassandra, is a daring teen, willing to take large risks, and stupid dares. They are both quite similar, although he is not as easily angered, and is actually quite calm. When angered, though, he can throw quite a fit, and is dangerous to be around. He is used to being hurt, and called names, due to the kids at school who bullied him.

Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: straight dark brown hair, that looks like black. He wears his hair usually down to about the middle of his ears. Ky is fair skinned, with bright blue curious eyes. He is medium height, 5 10'. Ky is somewhat well built from being on a regular swim team. He usually wears a thirty and jeans, nothing to flash, or fancy.

Personality: Ky is very laid back, and working would not be the first thing in mind. He is good with his hands though, tinkering and building small contraptions. Always in a somewhat happy mood, and tries his best to be in a good spirit. People tend to yell at him a lot, as he tends to get on people's nerves. 😸
Crush: not many girls like his type...they prefer to go to the hard working ones, the leaders...but...he can hope...xD
History: Came to Mars with his family, had lots of friends back on earth, was on the basketball team on earth, Ky was always around people, and life always kept him busy, so coming to Mars was a different experience for him.
Family: Originally came to mars with his family, his family has died off, except for his sister that he hopes to find one day. This has made him strong as a person. Always has that little smile hinting on his face.

Name: Lydia De Wraith
Age: 19
Gender: Female

Appearance: She has long, dark and somewhat reddish brown hair that falls past her shoulders and to her wrists, that gets more and more wavy at the middle then almost curly at the ends. Her eyes bear a strange lavender purple with violet specks. Her skin is pale and almost flawless, but she has under eye circles that are lightly colored with a light purple, and her very noticeable cheekbones, sharp nose and oval eyes give her a sharp look. She is tall, but not unnaturally so at a height of 5'8 and is rather skinny, but still with a healthy look to her. Her outfit bears a long-sleeved, black turtleneck shirt that falls just a bit past her hips, a lavender scarf that has silver specks, lines and swirls around the edges, dark gray jeans that flow at the end and gets tighter at the waist with a black leather belt and black, somewhat tight boots that have straps on it.

Personality: She is one for discovery, science and adventure, adoring the idea of finding a strange phenomenon, calculating how many blood cells an unhealthy human has, or going out to find another unknown creature in the wilderness. Although she almost always has her nose stuck in a book, she also loves company and to speak her mind a lot in conversations, debates or just little chats. Lydia meets many people because of this, but she doesn't trust people quickly. And thus, she has to practically know everything not too personal about someone male before getting to even actually like them.
Crush: To be discovered.
History: She use to work in a lab in somewhere in Houston Texas. She went from being a quiet, shy test subject to a bubbly and talkative master scientist. People guess all of the testing drove her crazy, although truth be told, she does gets a bit happy in the worst times. When she heard about the Mars jewels, she told her family and they all decided to try and sale them, but since Lydia just inspected them with very protective rubber gloves her parents and siblings all died. This left her alone, but still she researches and tries to discover new things.
Family: Her mother was named Lena and her father Ross, and she had two brothers named Terrin and Dustin.
