The Poplin's actually a user suggestion's creature, so you might want to be a bit careful when it comes to using words, I'm just saying!

In fact, the original Poplin design was amazing, it looks really lively and cool until EC turned it into an ordinary rabbit-doll.

For the rest, I kinda agree, the Danaus looks ok in second stage though, however, the Cave Monthlies have been going downhill...
They really need to step up their game if they want to keep users with them!

No offence to the new artist who was supstitutiing for the old one, but they could have done much much better on the Poplin.

Infact, barley any effort was put in. It looks like it was made in ms paint AND the 2nd stage art is copied and pasted for the 3rd stage!!!
I'm not saying it looks like it was copied and pasted, it WAS copied and pasted -.-
I'm not going to lie, I truly miss the old artist.

I'm sorry for bashing, but it doesn't look like eggcave standard to me.

Yeah a lot of the art is getting worse especially the cave monthlies, I also agree about the fact that the Poplin looked much better before in the original design.

I don't think the art is bad, it's just not Eggcave style. It doesn't fit with any travels, and they look weird around other creatures o-o

The monthlies though x_x I have no words for them ;p

I would tend to agree with you, I think the creatures need a bit more detail & maybe some sharper lines so they don't look so... plain really. I haven't bought any CC's in months because of this.
& Let's not talk about Cave Creatures...

I give kudos to the artist though for trying so hard, I'm sure it's not easy to be assigned the task of designing/creating the creatures for such a popular site especially with so much hype to live up to from previous artists...

They're doing the best they can I suppose.

I have to are right. I like the old creatures so much better than the new ones, but maybe because the ideas are running out? Or maybe the awesome artists are leaving.☹️ But I hope we can step up the game. Maybe you guys can make a creature suggestion?😸
