I'm really disappointed when comparing the original version and the real version of the Poplin, it's really frustrating, I don't get why they did that, they should've kept the Poplin just the way it originally looked like.

The new creatures are out tomorrow, 4 new creatures, I'm just hoping that they will make this right, because if they don't, several users are going to be quitting, one of my friends, said that she would, if the new creatures aren't pretty tomorrow D=

I haven't liked the monthlies since Jan. o_o I used to love all the new monthlies, what has happened!? D:

I understand we're going to have new artist, and every artist has their own style, but they could at least look around the site and see EC material ;-;

It's a sad, sad, sad tragedy!
The site still interests me, because I haven't been here that long, but to some old users, yeah, it might have been going downhill, the new art is definitely 100% better, I wish I knew what had happened to the old artists...

I think the mods meant that they really wanted 2013 to be booming, but they're not the official site admins, and presumably, they can't foresee Ian's plans and stuffs, hence they couldn't do anything about it!

I've seen a lot of potential creature suggestions that I though were actually going to be made, but the afterwards decisions keep letting us down =(

Mods know things. They knew about a lot of the plan for this year, which they thought would help this site. But they were wrong ;-;

I've been here for a while, and there's nothing to do. We can't trade CC any more and that's one of the major downfalls of this site. That's something everyone enjoyed ;-;

And yea, quite a few users have amazing ideas (and artwork) but they keep getting overlooked. And I don't wanna sound rude, but I'd rather they not get made, that way they don't get ruined. (Unless, of course, the art is just breathe taking, or at least EC style)

Here's another person who is pretty scared for tomorrow. xD Been anxiously wishing and waiting for them to be better than the ones from the previous 2 months..

I wonder why the artists always overlook our creature suggestions or, what's worse, make changes in their designs which the original creators didn't necessarily want to happen. u.u

I'm not saying I truly despise of the creatures we got last month (and this month as well), I'm just not fond of them at all. Like someone already said, they don't fit in the travels and they don't even have that "Egg Cave atmosphere" around them.

I hope we won't get more insects tomorrow...

@sony I like the 1st stage, and kind of 2nd stage of the hydris, but the rest is all reddfaces, and reminds me of my brother when hes angry. I also like the original poplin better...

No offense to people that like zugflugs or kinkas. I think their eggs are great! BUT the hatched through adult for kinka has a weird looking mouth, and weird looking eyes. There is something wrong, but I cant explain what!

The 1st stage zugflug pretty much looks like a flying catipillar to me, and the 2nd and 3rd stages remind me of flies. I thinks the pognot is even better than it. There is something wrong with this months creatures, but I cant tell what!

@safikei I am scared too, what will the creatures be like. Better or worse? I hope its better!

@olimpt Yes, I do think they copied the 2nd stage for the 3rd stage, the only difference is that the 3rd stage is a teeny tiny bit fatter, its tail is longer, and the leaves around its neck are a little bigger, and it has arms.

I personally like only the Lissams and Odons, which were the oldest Cave Monthlies, it's so true that the older creatures look better than the newer ones! xD

The Kinka is, in my opinion, a smaller, purpler version of the Riggert, pay attention to the Riggert, the poses are all the same, except that the Kinka's last stage is the Riggert's second stage, and the Riggert's second stage is the Kinka's last stage! 😱
I know, shocking.
Lack of imagination, they did bad! =(

And yeah, it's ok to not like something, it's personally how an individual feels, not like you're obligated to like everything that EC puts out.

What you thought was not explainable, I think, was the shading, and the colors, the new creatures are ridiculously shiny, while the older ones aren't. And the colors on the newer ones aren't as complicated as the previous ones, either, and the art, the concept, the design, all are too simple!

What do you think? xD
