@jupiter_hollow @cutebirdy79 @dada_dragon @epicthings451 @carter "I'm in art and archery. What about you?" Avery replied, taking a couple sips of her coke.Nick finished his food but was still so hungry. He stood then faced Avery "Avery, you want anything else? I'm going to get more food." Nick explained."Um, nah. I think what I have is enough" Avery said looking at her food which was barely touched.Nick turned to Alice "Do you want anything?" He asked

@Jupiter_Hollow @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79 @epicthings451 @glazzie @dada_dragon---Being steps away, Samuel watched with pale eyes drowned in worry as the other parahumans came extreamly close to a full fight. Slowly bringing himself closer to the bunch he asked in a small whimper. "Is everyone okay?" He gave a glance at Draco, the snake having almost been thrown over the railing. "Why does everyone always have to fight?" Sam's words were more for himself as he mumbled the seemingly familiar question. He glanced over at the others and wondered who they were for a moment but reminded himself to meet them later. Sam noticed one of the bird parahuman's broken arm and wondered how in such a seemingly happy place it could have happened. Well, on the outside the place seemed happy once stepping inside however the K9 was beginning to doubt how nice the place and its people were. -Jax gave a soft grunt of disbelief as the girl said the gender actually did not travel in herds. His ear flicked as she said good-bye to him though he didn't get food right away. The cat stayed near the door and looked over the parahumans already eating. A rather awkward looking Fox caught his eye but he decided not to go speak to the person who was sitting on a suitcase for some reason. Glancing back through the propped open door he wondered if anyone else would be gathering soon having heard the commotion outside but not bothered to interfere.

@xoxo5959 @jupiter_hollow @epicthings451 @dada_dragon @carter"I'm in Art and Horse Riding" Alice replied as she took another bite of her salad and noticed it was her last bite. 'I want another one Alice thought and as soon as she did, Nick's question ringed in her ears."Um can you get me another tuna salad?" Alice asked with a smile.
xoxo5959 • 4 January 2014 at 4:30 PM
@cutebirdy79 @carter @jupiter_hollow @epicthings451 @dada_dragonNick nodded and walked back to the buffet line. He grabbed another sandwich and a tuna salad for Alice. There was certainly a lot of food, it was a shame most of the students weren't here to eat. Walking back to he's seat he noticed another parahuman sitting at the table. Nick placed the salad in front of Alice and sat back into his seat.Avery stared off to space after Alice mentioned "Horse". Avery never like horses after that town fair experience. Terror caused a chill to run up Avery's spine. The thought of it was very unconformable.

Ethan backed up a little. Sure Eytan /looked/ tough, but this was strength beyond anything he'd ever seen. Eytan's strength made Aykay on her worst day look like a particularly feisty kitten... There was no contest...And snake-guy was no pushover either...Ethan moved as far away from the others as he could in the cramped staircase. Aykay called it cowardice, but he called it self-preservation. He wasn't an idiot. He knew when he was out-muscled...Snake-guy made it very clear that he disliked Ethan, and he got the impression that his very presence irked Eytan from the glares he got every time he talked to Alexin... Trying to help the situation would be ill-advised... Better to leave that to Alexin.@jupiter_hollow@xoxo5959@epicthings451@carter@glazzie

~7: 30~Luke quietly sat down and ate his dinner. Julie walked over to the table Luke was sitting at. "Hope you guys don't mind." Julie said and sat down, scarfing her dinner down. In just seconds, Julie's dinner was gone in an instant and Luke was still eating. @dada_dragon @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79 @carter @jupter_hollow

@dada_dragon @carter @glazzie @xoxo5959 @epicthings451-Eytan hadn't pulled back yet, frozen firmly in mid-motion with his fist pausing halfway through the swing, stopped by Alexin's weak fingers clutching the fabric of his sleeve, free hand resting over the giant's wired forearm in a feather-like touch. His head was craned down to look at the shorter boy, who was pleadingly returning his gaze. Eyes narrowed, jaw still set, but his tightened fist was wavering under the invisible pressure of Alexin's voice."Please..."The monstrous vulture's poised hand dipped down, retracted from the fight defeatedly, then came to lay protectively over a white-clad shoulder, sliding lower and further over the little dove's back until he had it hooked around the smaller boy completely. His body leaned forward, almost pressing flush against Alexin and he angled his head above his shoulder in a protective embrace, tugging him to the side and away from Draco, who seemed far to amused by the display of affection to care that the boy had been within striking range.Once again, he found himself fixed with a pair of obsidian eyes, which glared fervently over Alexin's shoulder. The amused smirk on his face melted into a confused smile as he began descending down the stairs backwards, still observing the duo with great interest."Come on kid." he urged the dog parahuman, reaching the lower steps without looking behind himself whatsoever. Even despite their broken battle stances, he and Eytan continued to maintain eye-contact, one glaring and the other simply looking back. The little dove raised his hand from Eytan's bicep to the side of his face, then cupped the giant's jaw and patted it slightly. Eytan looked away, deflating in the white boy's arms as soon as his gaze left Draco.

@jupiter_hollowDid my reply not even send? I seriously wrote something up a day or so ago and posted it and I can't find it. --Although Strider hadn't noticed Arsenic's quiet curse, he could see the noise was making him uncomfortable. The avian didn't think the noise was loud, but he obviously thought differently than Arsenic, if he knew one thing. "I don't know where Alexin is right now." he said, mostly mumbling to himself. "But if we're going to get any food in our systems, we've ought to get moving to the cafeteria. I haven't had lunch or breakfast, now that I think about it."
jupiter_hollow • 4 January 2014 at 8:16 PM
@glazzie I'm sorry Liz ☹️ I did notice you online some time ago so I thought you were writing a reply and you were, apparently. Happens to me all the time. ^^" 'specially with skype roleplays .-.-Arsenic flinched once again when the silence that had prevailed after the end of that horiffic noise was suddenly interrupted by the avian's voice. While the sound wasn't louder than a whisper, it still resonated in Arsenic's head and made him hiss in discomfort. It felt as if his eardrums had been violated. He had coiled in on himself, crouching on top of Strider's bed with both arms wrapped around himself protectively, fingers threaded in his hair and palms draped over his ears to block out any disturbing noises that could hurt his sensitized ears. Despite the barriers to his hearing, he detected the avian's suggestion loud and clear, making a face at first. The idea of locomoting through a crowd of hundreds of people and most probably having to elbow his way through it, made Arsenic even more angry. Still, the unmistakable waddle of the walls of his stomach betrayed his hunger. He hadn't eaten either."Fine." the parahuman hissed, jumping off the bed with one clean leap that landed him in the middle of the room, then latched an arm around Strider's hand and tugged him towards the door without even having put his shoes back on.

@xoxo5959 @epicthings451Alice smiled when Nick brought her tuna salad back. "Thanks" Alice exclaimed. Then she began to chow down on the salad. As she was eating Alice noticed Avery was in la la land. "Nick, what's wrong with Avery?" Alice asked.Bryce looked around at everyone again. "Alice introduce me to your friends" Bryce exclaimed.Alice ignored Bryce and kept looking at Avery. "Hey, are you okay?" Alice asked her.Bryce didn't like being ignored but he just accepted that Alice didn't want to talk to him. 'What did I do to her?' Bryce wondered as he glanced at her.

Ethan stood up, for the first time realizing that he was crouched on the stairs, having tried to make himself smaller without realizing it. These guys..."That was the guy Aykay was arguing with." he said quietly. "He's a real piece of work."He looked down at his hands. They were shaking. He tried to hide it best as he could. He hoped not all the parahumans here were this quick-tempered.@glazzie@jupiter_hollow@xoxo5959@epicthings451@carter
glazzie • 4 January 2014 at 8:35 PM
@jupiter_hollow *shrug* The crow-winged boy went along, not fighting against Arsenic. He seemed unhappy with the loudspeaker's noisy rasp, so he didn't want to refuse and worsen the whole kerfuffle. Honestly, Strider wasn't too fond of the sound himself, but it had not bothered him nearly as much as it seemed to bother Arsenic. The cafeteria did not sound pleasant to Strider in the slightest. It would be crowded. Too many people in one place. Maybe he could just get the food, and then leave. Or run. Or sprint.
jupiter_hollow • 4 January 2014 at 9:00 PM
@dada_dragon @carter-Glancing sideways to the crouched boy, Alexin smiled sympathetically, knowing his fear well. He himself was trembling slightly, not having witnessed anything as nerve-wrecking as this. The other parahuman had seemed fully capable of matching Eytan's strength and further topping it. more frighteningly, he'd held back and still managed to all them both half to death, sans the black avian, of course.Alexin sighed, relaxing on his feet as Eytan let him actually stand on his own, then moved slightly over to Ethan, feeling the need to coddle him as well."You alright? He kind of... loomed at you too." he mumbled. Would the reptile come back to bother Ethan further, seeing as he didn't have any kind of protection. "Jesus, I can see why she did."While he was busy worrying about the other boy, Eytan was already poised to go down the stairs again."Is your sister in the cafeteria?"@glazzie-Once outside, the parahuman froze over for a second, then glanced down at his bare feet. The marble floors stung at the pads of his toes and after flexing them, he realized the chills were beginning to climb up his legs as well. Being cold-blooded, of course, this didn't bother him at all. He just had to make sure he was well adjusted to the cold when they reached the cafeteria, in case the floor there was different material.Shuddering slightly, Arsenic picked up a slow, lazy pace, sauntering along the hallway, head craned sideways and wide eyes throwing a gander beside himself at Strider."No running." he warned the other, knowing full well a crowded place such as the cafeteria would predispose the avian for choosing flight instead of fighting with his anthropophobia.
glazzie • 4 January 2014 at 9:17 PM
@jupiter_hollowStrider easily flinched as Arsenic told him not to run. No, what if he had to? This wasn't a thing he could just brush off as yes or no. He glared at Arsenic, obviously in attempt to give him this vibration. He couldn't possibly not give into his fear. That's all he's done all his life. It was his only way of doing things. There was no way around it.He could feel himself scaring away again, his mind shutting down and fingertips going numb. No, maybe he could just...maybe he could just sit out on this meal. He'd make it till tomorrow. Yeah, no, right now wasn't a good time to eat anyway.
jupiter_hollow • 4 January 2014 at 9:38 PM
@glazzie Ah, poor Strider though. *cuddles* @carter HE NEEDS SAM CUDDLES! =D-He could feel the avian bustle next to him, the aura of his panic engulfing them both. It was ridiculously easy to hear his hectic, quickening breaths in the background of dead silence. His trembling fingertips were very much visible to arsenic's peripheral vision and the fidgety motions of his body gave everything away even further. He wondered if a comforting touch from him would help the situation or worsen it, so, driven only by barbaric amusement, and perhaps a little bit of well-meant sympathy, he reached over and closed his fingers over Strider's wrist."Don't be scared."
glazzie • 4 January 2014 at 9:49 PM
@jupiter_hollow Yes, poor Strider. He's literally based off of me in public, except I don't panic. XD As much as comforting touches are helpful, it clearly wasn't enough. Strider yanked his hand away, closing in on himself as the overall panic began to set in like before. Giving a few shakes of his head, he began to back up. No, he didn't want to be in another crowd. He didn't want to be near so many people. There was no way he could manage that. It wasn't in his ability. The avian could feel the dizziness getting to him. There was really only one person who could deal with him for good, and that person was his brother, who he wouldn't see today, nor tomorrow, nor the next week. Everyone else who attempted to calm him did help, but it was only temporary.
jupiter_hollow • 4 January 2014 at 10:00 PM
@glazzie *huggles both of you* My poor babies... And even more poor Strider because I'm sure in the future Arsenic would get annoyed at one of his breakdowns and let him hyperventilate himself to unconsciousness. My characters are terrible, if you haven't noticed. xD-At the sight of the retreating avian, Arsenic pursed his lips, wide eyes shadowed by his furrowed eyebrows, the expression depicting insane determination. He resented having to deal with /this/ every day. The anthropophobia had proved to be intense and by the looks of things, fear often caught up to him, which implied frequent breakdowns. He already had himself to deal with, so another freak sharing a dorm with him would tip the scale of sanity and most probably land either of them in the infirmary soon... most probably Strider. If anything, he had to figure out how to deal with the parahuman.Lowering his body down to a crouch, Arsenic tipped his head to the side and motioned down to the floor, speaking to the other firmly."Sit down... There's nobody here. Nobody will know your secret." he reassured the avian, settling down on the marble himself. "Tell me how to calm you."
glazzie • 4 January 2014 at 10:27 PM
@jupiter_hollow Well I still love them anyway. xD--Strider was a very high maintenance parahuman, it seemed. Usually, he would never be this triggered to have such outbursts and panic attacks, but he was in an environment where he was no longer sheltered from other people. It was frightening, even if these people were all parahumans like himself. The last time he'd been around other people he was beaten down for flying, and ever since, he simply stayed indoors. His brother took care of him. The crow-boy did sit, even if it took him a while to steady himself enough so to bend himself to sit down with ease.Otherwise, he would've fallen. Truth was, exactly four others knew of his "secret", those four being his brother, of course, Alexin, Eytan, and Alice. Well, maybe Alice, if Alice paid enough attention to know that Strider was having a breakdown, he wasn't sure. Strider didn't know how to calm himself. It was usually such a rare occurrence that this happened, and he wasn't completely sure if he remembered anything his brother did for him. That was so many years ago, nearly seven, when he last needed the consoling. He began tripping over words, stuttering like a fool. His thoughts weren't able to flow smoothly when under this terror.
dada_dragon • 4 January 2014 at 10:43 PM
@jupiter_hollowYeah, but she's in a bit of a... Mood... Don't expect much along the lines of pleasant conversation..." he said. He looked up at Eytan timidly. "Uh... Hey, thanks for taking care of snake guy... I'll admit he's more than I can handle, but you... Well thanks."
jupiter_hollow • 4 January 2014 at 11:32 PM
@glazzie You're a darling for making an effort. XD Strider on the other hand is really easy to adore-The panicky parahuman wasn't all that predisposed to calming down it seemed... Not having to keep balance would help - sitting down was a first step to calming down, but nothing else was going accordingly thanks to Strider's apparent tendency to lose tongue and word during his breakdowns.Arsenic sighed in exasperation, rising. He himself doubted his own abilities to calm down the parahuman. Despite outweighing Strider in intelligence, he couldn't figure out what to do on his own, the methods of reigning a panic attack differing from person to person, and he doubted he could keep his cool long enough to receive a proper answer from the boy."Should I call someone else?"---@dada_dragon-Eytan had begun to descend down the stairs already before the bear boy bothered to finish the sentence. That wasn't what he was speaking about. He refused to take Alexin's offered help and pushed the boy aside while he attempted to walk as calmly and steadily as possible."Which means she won't be in a mood to see that other boy either..." Alexin clarified the reason of Eytan's question. "You mentioned she brewed up fights..."
carter • 5 January 2014 at 4:29 PM
@Jupiter_Hollow @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79 @epicthings451 @glazzie @dada_dragon---Samuel remained silent for a while, the absence of words was a rare occurrence for the K9 but offered the people around him a moments peace. Behaving like a lost puppy he simply followed the person closet to him, unfortunately for Draco he was the closet. The silence didn't last long however as Sam could find something to talk about luckily this time it wasn't random obvious points and it actually had something to do with what had just happened. "What do you guys have against each other?" He asked with a glance at the two. Draco still seemed rather angry or at least looked like it to the K9 but the other was apparently calmed by the White dove next to him.
dada_dragon • 5 January 2014 at 5:14 PM
Sudden realization dawned on Ethan. He had been too shaken by what had just happened to realize that... Ethan's face went pale and he ran down the stairs towards the cafeteria.
jupiter_hollow • 5 January 2014 at 5:57 PM
@carter @dada_dragon-Draco still had his head craned lightly towards the staircase, not exactly looking at the people there, but keeping track of their movement in his peripheral vision. He remained wary of the vulture even as they exited the hall and strode towards the cafeteria.Transferring his attention to the dog parahuman, Draco clicked his tongue, placing a hand over his disheveled hair and ruffling it even further, a slight smirk stretching over his face at the boy's innocence."Big boys always wanna be the best, kiddo. We're kinda the biggest." he clarified, shrugging with shoulders and eyebrows alike, then sticking a hand in his pocket and leaning back, stiff step turning relaxed and nonchalant like before as the vulture was out of sight. He wasn't looking at anything in particular, but briefly inspecting the entirety of the cafeteria with a scarce glance, when oh stars, Teddy Bear popped out of nowhere, less hostile and more cocky than before. Was a strange change, not exactly welcome, but otherwise interesting - the chick wasn't throwing fists on her own, but actually made an effort to provoke him...That was usually his method. Still, the roles weren't switches - he wasn't suddenly eager to start a fight, but on the contrary, decided to tease the troublemaker."I eat rats like you for breakfast." he retaliated calmly, flicking a round ear. A little big bigger and less hairier and they really would've resembled a pair of mouse ears. Not far behind himself, he detected some movement. Sticking the tip of his tongue out, he flicked it against the air, registering the familiar trio. One of them (the other rat) had nearly reached him, while the little white dove and the vulture followed behind. He felt his spine bustle.Gosh, surely, he could steer a fight... The brickhead bafoon didn't know what he stood against and he intended to prove it, against him or anyone else.
dada_dragon • 5 January 2014 at 6:27 PM
Aykay flinched a little when he flicked her ear, but kept the smile on her face."I've got a riddle for you then, snake. What's the difference between a rat and a polar bear?" She said, the smile on her face growing. She could see Ethan and his new buddies walk up, but she didn't care. He wasn't going to make her walk away this time...Ethan walked up to Aykay, standing far enough back to avoid making her more angry, but close enough to intervene should things get ugly.-Please don't be an idiot...- he thought.@jupiter_hollow@carter@cutebirdy79@glazzie@epicthings451

Julie walked over to a nearby trash can and dumped her trash in it, then she walked over to the "To Wash" pile and placed her empty tray on top of the others. She walked back to the table Luke was sitting at and sat back down at the rather silent table. Looking around, Julie saw that Nick, Avery, herself, Luke, a girl she didn't, and a boy she also didn't know were all basically at the table. Luke finally finished his dinner and walked over to the closest trash can and dumped his trash. He too walked over to the "To Wash" pile and placed his tray on the top. Then he walked back over to the table and sat back down. "So, Nick, you feeling better after that event in the hallway?"@dada_dragon @jupiter_hollow @carter @glazzie @xoxo5959@cutebirdy79
jupiter_hollow • 5 January 2014 at 6:56 PM
@dada_dragon @carter @glazzie @xoxo5959 @epicthings45-Draco snorted, tipping his head to the side and let a matching smirk occupy his face as well. She had some guts, he had to admit it. Either that or she didn't have enough brain capacity to estimate her chances in a fight with him. Either ways, he was endlessly amused at the moment."In your case - just the color."He glanced once at the snow white fur covering her ears and raised an eyebrow. Ah, so fluffy. Fluffy ears could make anyone look adorable. He placed a hand over Sam's head to refrain from ruffling the girl's hair like a kid. Then again, it'd probably start the fight.Reaching over, he aimed to do just that, a wide 'stretchy' kind of smile on his face.
dada_dragon • 5 January 2014 at 7:09 PM
Seeing his hand move towards her, Aykay shot her arm up to grab his arm."What's the difference between a rat and a polar bear?" she asked, her other hand already in a fist. "You might have a chance against a rat."She swung her fist at his jaw.@jupiter_hollow@glazzie@carter@xoxo5959@epicthings451
jupiter_hollow • 5 January 2014 at 7:27 PM
@carter @dada_dragon @glazzie @xoxo5959 @epicthings451-His head snapped leftwards from the force of the fist.Perhaps while inspecting her actions, stance and the challenging words she'd said, he might've predicted the upcoming attack, but oh, where was the fun in knowing when or where the fist was going to connect with his face? Or seeing it coming, for that matter. The only thing he'd registered were a pair of knuckles inches from him before the ache bit at his jawline. That was the fun part.He detected her hand continuing by inertion past his face, the force gathered to do that one punch apparently great. With a fast reflex he twisted his free arm to grasp her bicep, aiming to suspend the limb closer to her body and heave her towards himself, knee bending up at lightning velocity, meant to meet her stomach with a kneecap."Ahah..." he giggled out like a psychopath, the sound of his laugh raw and followed by a wheeze of laughter. He had his teeth gritt, the line of his lower set slightly bent in direction of Teddy Bear's punch. He parted his lips, widening his mouth to its very extent before producing a loud pop, that resounded in the cafteria. Both the straightening of his jaw and his attack happened in the same amount of time and he sadly realized the girl would probably miss the sight of his disfigured jawline.
dada_dragon • 5 January 2014 at 7:41 PM
The wind was knocked out of her as his knee connected with her stomach. She coughed, trying to regain her breath, but still managed to wrap her left leg around him, attempting to trip him... Then she'd have the high ground...Ethan wanted nothing more than to jump in there and pull Aykay off him, but he suspected that all that would happen if he tried would be him getting injured, or worse, getting pulled into the fight himself..."Guys, knock it off!!!" He yelled, knowing full well how ineffective that would be...@jupiter_hollow @carter @glazzie @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79
jupiter_hollow • 5 January 2014 at 8:04 PM
@dada_dragon Okay do you mind this? It's kind of not godmod, because it's Draco abusing his power, not me. xD @carter-He was pretty much still wrapped around Teddy when a hindering leg came to a hooked halt behind his and almost caused him to tip backwards. His flexible body bent downwards, hands still grasping the girl's bicep and using her as a mainstay of sorts until he could wedge a leg under himself and regain his balance. One of his hands was still in Teddy's grasp, bu he managed to grapple forward to her other bicep as well, gripping tightly. during the short fistfight, his spine had let out a few cracks, already enlogated to its limit, as was his neck who now angled his head downwards beyond breaking point, so he literally looked down on the girl. His mouth was hanging open, jaw protruding lower than it was supposed to, though he had his lip still tightly pressed into a 'stretchy' smile. How fun... He wondered how much broken bones exactly a polar bear could take. His slitted eyes widened and Draco dug his nails in her skin, the muscles on his forearm bulging as he dipped low. He let out a groan, supporting her substantial weight until he'd lifted her aloft pretty much leaning her on himself as he coiled his muscles in for the throw, then slammed her (and himself as additional dead meat on top of her) against the nearest vertical surface - the wall to his left.
