@dada_dragon @jupiter_hollow @cutebirdy79 @epicthings451 @glazzie Avery faced the two parahumans who she had asked what everyone was suppose to do. She exhaled then spoke "Well I'm Avery and this is my brother Nick." She smiledNick smiled and nodded as Avery introduced for him. He recalled that he saw the two on the roof earlier. The wolf parahuman was Luke but the leopard girl came from surprise. He was starting to get hungry but how would the students get their lunches without any teachers to take them to eat? Nick sighed. All the teachers were probably working of the explosion mishap in the science lab.Avery's hair whipped behind her as a crisp breeze blew by. She studied the other parahuman and remembered the wolf boy from somewhere. Avery thought for a moment trying to remember where see saw him. Memorizing where he was from was like trying to memorize a dream you had the night before. Finally it came to her. Avery saw him on the roof along with Nick.

As soon as they walked through the doors, they heard yelling. Ethan sighed and looked around for someone to ask for directions."So much for peace and quiet..." Ethan said, trying to ignore the noise. "I was hoping it wouldn't be as loud here as our old school, but clearly that was asking too much... You don't see anyone around here, do..."He had turned around to find that Aykay was headed towards the noise."What are you doing?" he asked, chasing after her."Duh." she answered. "Where there's yelling, there's people. And maybe those people can help us find where we need to go."Ethan didn't really want to get involved in whatever that yelling was about, but he knew better than to think he could change her mind, so he followed. When they reached the room the noise was coming from, they saw a lady trying to reason with a male student and another student standing by and watching. But before Ethan could say anything..."Hey! Is there anyone here who could show us where to go?" interrupted Aykay, despite the obviously tense situation. Ethan couldn't believe how pushy she could be sometimes...He took a closer look at the yelling kid. At first glance, he looked like an ordinary guy, but Ethan was starting to feel unsettled around him, like there was something... off about this guy.@glazzie @xoxo5959 @epicthings451 @cutebirdy79 @jupiter_hollow

@glazzie Dude, ping me if you're interacting with Eytan or Alexin or whoever. xD 'Cause otherwise I don't see the post. @dada_dragon @xoxo5959 Praise on you both xD @epicthings451 @cutebirdy79-Alexin and Eytan continue their trekk upstairs, advancing slowly but surely albeit with a lot of discomfort from Eytan's side. Not that he was ever going to admit that.Pausing halfway, Alexin slightly turned back to Strider, enough to see his face in peripheral vision and smiled."No need to worry about us, Strider. I know you're tired and lunch is coming soon anyway. Why don't you go shower and I'll meet you in the cafeteria?"-The scene was close to folding as Arsenic seemed to have snapped mentally and was advancing on the woman with a dizzying velocity. Face twisted in a snarl, he roared at her."I DON'T WANT ANOTH-"As if snapping out of a trance, he instantaneously stopped in his tracks as another voice resonated in the hallway. The tone was of a voice seeking for attention and though she was not as loud and outwardly domineering as him, the female had spoken up despite the obvious demonstration of violence and superiority he was trying to depict, and that made Arsenic immediatelly coil in on himself. His head snapped towards the source of the voice as if it was put on a spring. His expression and body seemed to undergo a transformation, furiously glinting eyes widening in curiosity and wariness, twisted face going blank in shock. His shoulders hunched, head narrowing down and at that moment he resembled a predator that had been disturbed by an enemy in the middle of its hunt -- and if not, then a deer in headlights. The latter suited his dilated irises and parted lips. He was terrified. But upon setting his eyes on the person that had yelled, he found himself facing a plain girl (though perhaps more noticeable and audible than most - maybe stronger as well, but that was debatable, since she didn't look like she could use her strength properly). Now he was more intrigued than afraid, but maintained his open expression, restricting a calculatively squinted look from surfacing, instead observing the girl through scared eyes.He took a step back, fear painted in his every move and recoiled from the two teens, hand straying backwards in Draco's direction. He needed the other.Said other quickly pushed himself off the wall and sauntered over to Arsenic, stopping by his side and waiting for further instructions. He soon found himself with an armful of a toxic parahuman, as the younger had glued himself to his chest and now watched the brother and sister over his shoulder.Putting a protective arm over Arsenic's back, Draco threw a nonchalant sideways glance at the duo, the tip of his lips twitching up in a snarl."Whattaya want?" he snapped at them.

Ethan spoke up before Aykay could make things worse."We're terribly sorry to interrupt, but we're new here and we were wondering where we should go to drop off our bags and get our scheduals." He said. "I'm Ethan Kapelle, by the way.""And I'm Autumn Kappelle, but I go by Aykay." Aykay added, then before Ethan could do anything to stop her... "What's that guy's issue? I could hear him all the way down the hallway..."Ethan elbowed her in the side. She was always asking for trouble, that one. It wasn't as though she was cruel or anything, she just couldn't keep her mouth shut, and usually it happened at the worst times. It was bad enough she'd interrupted their argument... Though quite frankly the teacher seemed a little relieved...@jupiter_hollow @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79 @glazzie @epicthings451
jupiter_hollow • 4 December 2013 at 12:28 PM
@dada_Dragon @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79 @glazzie @epicthings451-"Yeah, well you missed the admission queue by a long shot." Draco half-glared at them again, raising an eyebrow at the raven-haired boy's ridiculous language. Draco found himself slightly confused by their stark differences. The sister was as nosey as a fox and the brother was a nerd in the word's fullest capacity.Furthermore, Aykay or whoever she was, sounded to be rude too."Watch it, snakebait!" he hollered at her, baring his venomous fangs, his tongue clicking in warning. She was a feisty one, but he could reduce her to fear in a few days. While the serpentine parahuman was thinking nonsense, Arsenic's mind locomoted quickly. The sophisticated locution was enough of an indication of their status or used-to-be one, but the fancy surnames gave it away immediatelly. Most probably aristocrats, either rejected any right because of their origin or disconnected themselves from the family by choice -- disliking separation or isolation they probably had to undergo.Twins, dyzigotic - not identical, though very similar. However, it was their spliced DNA that baffled him.Tilting his head to the side, he observed them closely, noting the black ears on one and contrastingly white ones on the others. The animals were the same species but polar opposite subspecies - a nearly impossible coinscidence if it were normal animal DNA experimenting. Most probably created or spliced by the government... No doubt an important project.Yet he hated not being sure of his guesses...Suddenly zooming out and away from the duo, Arsenic became aware of the woman's chattering voice nearby."-no need to go back down for the admission lines if you have been given the keys to your dorms, so we only require the number of your dorm and you're set." she attempted to arrage things so as to get Arsenic off her back and escort the two students out unharmed of the hallway. However, Arsenic was having none of that.As the woman began to lead the two away, he tugged sharply away from Draco, his fingers clutching the other's shirt and pulling him along after Aykay and Ethan.Maintaining a safe distance, he walked behind them, tilting his head to the side."How were you made?" he asked, voice loud enough to echo in the hallway.
glazzie • 4 December 2013 at 3:29 PM
@jupiter_hollow @dada_dragon @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79Sorry, yo. DX I'm forgetting a lot lately.--Strider cleared his throat, tilting his head upwards as the white-haired boy spoke. With yet another curt nod, he advanced up the stairs, sliding up quickly to his dorm. The crow-human flared out his wings slightly as he let out a huff that could be justified as a sigh. The way back to his dorm wasn't as simple as he guessed it to be. He found himself turning down unknown corridors, past unfamilar classes, and somehow knocking somebody's books over in the process. And when he finally thought he found it, the commotion in the hallway caused him to believe that the dorm was not in fact his.Just to be sure, the blonde strolled by the scene nonchalantly, looking at the door to get a peek at its number to be sure it wasn't his. But he was mistaken. Amber eyes widened as he read the number: Dorm #9. Clear as day. Strider swallowed painfully and slowly eased his way into /his/ dorm, evidently uncomfortable with all the new faces."Why are you all in my room?" he squeaked out, cursing to himself as his voice cracked slightly.

@glazzie It's alright hun, it's a hectic week. @dada_dragon @epicthings451 @cutebirdy79 @xoxo5959-And another.Once again, like clockwork, Arsenic's head snapped around within a milisecond of hearing the additional voice and, like before, he froze in his tracks, staring shamelessly at the newly arrived.A characteristic tilt of his head and cool green stared into distressed amber ones. Observing the boy with a flick of his eyes, he lowered his raised eyebrows -- this one was different. The male was an avian, black feathers, recognizeable, large wings flared wide enough to give a calming but false sense of protection; hunched over posture, signifying anxiety, perhaps even panic issues judging by his broken voice, which coupled with the unusually pale skin and reddenned face, as well as the tremble in his fingers, could have very well meant that he'd had a panic attack just recently - or at least a proper hyperventilation breakdown. He looked distressed, partially scared -- hiding it behind his wings, under his hunched shoulder and the black hair hanging slightly over his eyes, but his entire body language spoke of anthropophobia. He was... trying to hide from everybody.Arsenic let his mouth tip slightly upwards, frozen in an intense stare towards the boy.Soon the eye contact was broken and he let out a giddy childish giggle."Hi."
glazzie • 4 December 2013 at 4:40 PM
@jupiter_hollow uvu It has been. *sighs* At least I got an A- on my test, thank god. @dada_dragon @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79Strider raised an eyebrow, discomfort still buzzing in his head, but confusion and uncertainty were the more prominent emotions at the moment. If just to humor the other, the avian gave a small wave of his hand."Hi." he softly said back, unsure as to why the iciness he originally saw in this person's eyes as he took a glance into the room before walking into it was not there anymore. However, Strider still felt the littlest bit intimidated, even if this new creature\human mix didn't seem terrible. But, for one thing, he couldn't be positive or trust his thoughts, and another, this parahuman towered over him, much like Eytan, and he had felt the same way. He didn't turn away from him, but instead shot a glance to the two others behind him, a mix of 'do you know what he's doing here' and 'why the heck is everyone in my dorm'.
jupiter_hollow • 4 December 2013 at 5:26 PM
@glazzie That's an actually awesome grade >w< Congrats Liz! =D @dada_dragon @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79-He towered over him, much like Eytan. Now, Arsenic could have resented that statement because his height made for average, not towering, but then again, he wouldn't have made an attempt to contray said sentence either... Because he did tower over the bigger avian parahuman.Although he himself was small and Eytan resembled a brick wall in all his might, the two seemed to have a similar effect on the boy he was facing. Whereas the avian intimidated with only his looming presence and the heavy stench of strength and superiority, Arsenic compensated with an intense stare of wide blank eyes -- curious, shocked and observant at the same time. Perhaps a mighty strength and a weight incapable of being moved scared Strider, but being inspected (as if under a microscope), looked into, pulled inside out and completely exposed -- it would leave him crippled, and it was what Arsenic had noticed right away. The avian boy was one of the people that humanity had stepped on a bit too hard and had broken irrefutably...And that made things interesting.Smiling widely and waving back with a childish expression of giddiness, Arsenic hung off of Draco's arm, who was currently glaring daggers at the blonde girl, Aykay Kapelle."I was talking." he announced (apparently having caught up on Strider's questioning look), thick ukranian accent ringing in the hallway along with his always-too-loud voice, and pointed at the twin duo. "They are strange. Very. Very strange." he informed the entirety of the hallway, nodding vigorously to himself. His head snapped to Strider again. "And you?"
glazzie • 4 December 2013 at 5:38 PM
@jupiter_hollow >o< Thanks. @dada_dragon @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79As the voice rang in his ears, Strider flinched a bit. The fellow was certainly fine with having everyone in the whole hallway know of their presence. It was unnerving, but not exactly enough to turn him on his way. He listened on.Wait.He said strange....Strange? The twins? He fought the urge to turn and look at the two behind him again. They seemed normal to him. However, Strider deemed this not to be the time to sort out different opinions (and honestly, he didn't want to deal with the possible outburst that could come by him sharing his thoughts, seeming as that was this person's personality), so he gave a simple nod, as always. A signature move of his.Strider found himself confused once again. He opened his mouth to speak, silently drawing in air as he attempted to settle his wings on his back, like they usually rested. Cautiously, not knowing what to expect at this point, he asked."And me?" The question was not clear to him. He bit his inner cheek, waiting for a response from the grinning boy in front of him.
jupiter_hollow • 4 December 2013 at 5:44 PM
@glazzie @dada_dragon @cutebirdy79 @epicthings451 @xoxo5959-Head narrowed and body curved in a strange angle, depicting his desire to intrude the other's personal space, he bore his paper pale eyes into Strider and smiled softly, a foreign expression on his sunken face."How strange are you?"
glazzie • 4 December 2013 at 5:50 PM
@jupiter_hollow @dada_dragon @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79The question sat in his head, like a burden, as he parted his lips to speak, only a few syllables stuttering out. How could he answer the question? He didn't know what to say.Strider could feel his cheeks flushing in frustration as the moment continued, tension unsettling. The room was mostly silent except for the shuffling of his shoes against the flooring. And then he just began thinking of how strange he was to the natural human world. His expression faded to something more of the clearly upset nature, averting his gaze to the side nervously."Very strange, it seems." he choked out before he could think of a better answer.
jupiter_hollow • 4 December 2013 at 6:19 PM
@glazzie @dada_dragon @epicthings451 @cutebirdy79 @xoxo5959-"...I figured." Arsenic breathed out, face frozen in curious awe. The other seemed more intricate and complex than he'd imagined and this only enhanced his drive to make him squirm, to unfold him."You look strange too." he informed the other, nodding absentmindedly and stepping forward, hands locked behind his back and face holding a parody of a knowing smile.Reaching Strider, he came into close proximity, tipping his head to the side at a 90 degree angle and smiled toothily."We're all strange here."Meanwhile Draco stood aside, silently watching and wondering why the other was bothering to intimidate the lowlife of an avian. He was itching to throw an insult at the vulnerable teenager, but knew better than to do so in front of Arsenic. Still, it seemed ever so easy to make the boy nervous.
glazzie • 4 December 2013 at 6:33 PM
@jupiter_hollow @dada_dragon @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79Although he would fail to admit it, yes, it did not require much effort at all to make Strider tick. The poor avian felt his fingers shaking again as the other came close to him. He didn't want to move away, but he couldn't stay still, knees weak and eyes certainly giving off a look of fright, much like a scared child. All of his ability to cope had been lost already today, so undergoing more stress was the last thing he needed. He could probably break at any moment, like something of a time bomb, he could positively explode. Strider was not used to this feeling. He had felt it earlier this day, but he hadn't felt it in a long time since he was spat at by society, which by his standards was pretty long ago.The avian felt a little dizzy, as if he was going to fall, but he knew he wasn't. He couldn't. He just felt...uneasy. Sick. He was silent; he harbored no words at all. Instead, he let the lack of sound swamp the room, white noise ringing in his ears.
dada_dragon • 4 December 2013 at 6:50 PM
Aykay rolled her eyes. "Yeah, we're all strange. Whatever." She said, then turned to the creepy guy. "To answer your question, our mom brought us to the government to be spliced when we were too young to remember it.""She did it because they offered to forgive her debt if she did." Ethan added. "It was during the experimental stages of the project, so the government figured it'd be easier to convince someone desperate for mone to let her two kids go through tests and to sign questionable waivers..."Aykay nodded. She had noticed the other boy glaring at her."Do you have a problem?" She asked.@jupiter_hollow @glazzie @xoxo5959
jupiter_hollow • 4 December 2013 at 7:00 PM
@glazzie @dada_dragon Sorry hun, we posted without ya D: @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79 @epicthing451 You too guys :/ We went ahead of ourselves... but then again, this roleplay is awesome >w<-He didn't want to break the silence that made him squirm so delightfully, neither did he have any desire to interrupt the current tranquil state of their interaction. Unlike Draco, he didn't need words to get a message across. It only took a glance at Strider with his most childish expression to tell him 'I know that you're hiding'.Because he knew the other would see it clearly if he took a close look - would notice the crooked twist of his upper lip and the stray black curls falling in front of his face; innocence masking deadly intelligence and insanity concealing a mastermind. to a well-adjusted human being, he and Strider would seem so normal... but he who possessed a similar mind, drive and act, could very well spot the deceit in both of them.He knew Strider would be able to decode his message - he only had to look his way with his best mask on and wait for the other to figure it out.He blinked. The gesture signified his brief transformation from the psychopathic stare to his fairly normal expression. As always, he'd been right in his guess and nodded in satisfaction as the boy spoke."Same species, opposite subspecies - it is why you are so different." he clarified further, still nodding vigorously to himself. Glancing at Ethan, he made a wild guess. "Older? Endured more pain." he stated on a whim with widely blown eyes, hoping he was right. The male did look more introverted and closed off, kind of like him and about half the population of the academy, it seemed. He was reserved and polite, which lead Arsenic on the thought that he'd been taught how to behave better... whereas the girl acted like she'd never gotten a proper beating before.

@jupiter_hollow @dada_dragon @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79We could probably do a big sum-up for our mods in the Discussion Topic, since I don't think they need to go on reading all our stuff. Mostly because none of our characters are interacting with any of their characters.Draco, Arsenic, Strider, Aykay, and Ethan are all in Strider\Arsenic's dorm. Alexin and Eytan are gradually getting up the stairs. Alice & Bryce are together. @xoxo5959 and @epicthings451's charries are all with each other, so they really have nothing to do with any of our characters in their situations at the given moment. So I'm not sure if they want to read all of our paragraphs. ^^"--The black-winged boy hunched his shoulders, backing his face away from Arsenic's, though his eyes were still watching him as he continued to stare back.Strider's mouth had run completely dry, drinking in the air leaving an irritating, arid-like feeling in the back of his mouth. Wing that were once settled were now finding their way around his sides as he tried to protectively contain himself, the soft, thin, cinder-colored feathers now ruffled. His eyes searched the other's with the intent to hide his insecurity in the situation, although Strider knew himself that there was not a single point in trying. He could practically feel Arsenic reading in between lines, figuring him out, his feelings, what he was thinking, how this all was due to his past. And it was probably the most unnerving feeling in his life. He then knew he never wanted to see this person ever again.(But little did he know that he'd be seeing him just about every day of this year). He felt everything blurring together until he couldn't feel it anymore. His fingertips went numb, no, every part of him went numb. It was mental torture to the dot. And it was happening all over again, but on a different level, and to a much different degree. Strider didn't dare move. For some reason, all he could do was stand completely still, his current expression locked onto his face, although he flipped through emotions as fast as you could snap your fingers, taking in the situation bit by bit.He definitely did not want to undergo this experience again. He wished to never cross paths with Arsenic again in his life.(Oh, the irony of it all).

Ethan was confused by the question."Yeah, I'm older, but only by like ten minutes." Ethan said. "And I'm not sure what you mean by 'more pain'."Aykay smirked. "Well you've had to deal with me your whole life, haven't you?" she said, not taking the boy's question seriously at all. "In that case, I'd say you /have/ endured more pain."She turned her attention back to the other boy. "Hey, I asked you a question. Do you have a problem? Because whatever it is you're glaring about, it isn't worth a punch in the gut, so how 'bout you turn your angry little eyes elsewhere.""Aykay, please..." begged Ethan. "Not on the first day..."@glazzie @jupiter_hollow That's totally fine. I was at work anyhow. @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79

@dada_dragon @glazzie @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79 Sorry for da delay guise ^^" Busy week, that kinda crap.-From a leftwards tilt, he craned his head to the right and locked his eyebrows in a tight frown."Didn't live in the laboratories?" he mumbled absentmindedly, more of a statement than a question, despite the quizzical tone of his voice. He felt slightly embarassed for having been wrong in such a whimsical assumption, furthermore one that regarded the duo's past. Still, he guessed that being right would've been worse since it would've hit close to home for him.He smiled, unfocused eyes going wide."Mommy and daddy must've loved you then." he exclaimed in a sing-song voice, locking his hands behind his back and narrowing his body forward in a curious pose.Despite mainly speaking to the twins, his gaze periodically (the equal time intervals added even more eeriness) strayed towards Strider and lingering there long enough for the other boy to be able to catch the mischevous glint in his eyes, ebfore averting them. He didn't want to scare the boy too much, since he looked crumpled already so he decided to let him off for a while.Meanwhile, Draco had retained his eye contact with Aykay and now fully glared at the defiant girl, body slightly curved backwards in a seemingly nonchalant lean against the wall. In all truth, he was furious. The little thing had dared bug him. And because of this of all things. The last sentence, however, was a cross over the line and he actively bustled, pushing himself off the wall with a snarl"I have a problem with your attitude. Y'know, just like your parents did." he growld out, a frighteningly savage smirk on his face. He'd picked that up from Arsen.

Ethan caught Aykay's arm before her fist could even come close to coming into contact with the guy's face, though by the look of that guy, she wouldn't have managed to hit him anyways. He wasn't like the kids back school, he looked... Deadly..."Aykay, stop." He warned her, forgetting completely about the other boy's strange questions. "This is pointless."Aykay smirked, her eyes still on the guy. "It's probably for the best, Ethan." She said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Wouldn't want to mess up his pretty little face, now would I? That'd be a terrible shame...""Stop, Aykay." He said more forcefully. "Let's go find our dorms."He dragged her off by her arm. It was only the first day and already she was making enemies. That was the last thing they needed right now. They were supposed to be getting away from that kind of thing by coming here...@jupiter_hollow @glazzie

@dada_dragon @jupiter_hollow @glazzie @epicthings451 @cutebirdy79Is it me or did the rp suddenly stop O3O--Avery stepped towards Nick and whispered softly "Was that guy on the roof with you?" Avery stepped back and waited for his response.Nick looked down at the grey wolf parahuman his sister was referencing to. Nick took a quick moment to remember his name "Oh, his name was Luke. Hehehe, sorry about that." Nick smiled with guilt. Avery rolled her eyes at Nick's forgetfulness. Then Avery set her vision on the leopard parahuman beside Luke. She opened her mouth to speak "Hey, what was your name?" Avery asked shyly with a little resistance in her voice.Nick look back tot eh school behind him. Seem as if that weren't going to lunch after all. He looked back as Avery tried to get the golden hair girl's name. 'Julie or Julia' He thought of. He turned to the group of parahumans "Well, I'd like to stay and chat but I'm going back inside. I guess I'll see you guys later." Nick make a quick wave and walked through the school doors inside. He made his way to the boys hall. Nick finally got there till he saw quite a few people in the hall. He stood motionless. Unsure of what to do. They seemed to be very tense with one another. 'Should I walk passed?' Nick asked himself.(I'm trying to get involved ^^")

@xoxo5959 Nope, sorry xD We just sort of decided to wait for the others to post and they didn't. I personally felt guilty for leaving you guys out ^^" @dada_dragon hey dad o3o @glazzie LIZ C'MON! ❤️ @cutebirdy79 @epicthings451 Les get this party rollin' 8D-Draco hadn't expected to face a punch, but he had to admit it would've got quite interesting if her brother hadn't interrupted. He retained a psychopathic smile, showing the girl that he didn't mind a fight at all - if she reconsidered obeying her bore of a brother then he was sure they could have some fun with flying fists."Oi, what's wrong? Giving up?" he yelled after her, baring his fangs in a challenging grin. They had already turned a corner so he doubted they could hear him, but it was worth a try. His fists were practically itching to start a fight. And as if on queue, he noticed a boy timidly standing aside, watching the interaction with curiosity. Despite knowing that Arsenic would dislike his rude attitude, Draco just couldn't bare to pass a chance at wrecking havoc. With a savage smirk, he confronted the boy (Nick)."Hey pipsqueak, what'cha standing there for?"Meanwhile Arsenic was back to staring intently at Strider, wondering when the boy was going to finally break -- since he seemed ready to do so from the moment arsenic had set his sights on him. Upon hearing his bigger friend yell at somebody unknown, he averted his gaze from the black avian to look at the boy Draco was yelling to, tilting his head to the side peculiarly and inspecting him from head to toe with wide curious eyes.

Nick felt a uncomfortable chill run up his spine. He was speechless. One of them studied him closely while one sternly asked him a question. He didn't want to seem weak, he tighten his fist and narrowed his eyes at him "I was trying to get to my dorm." Nick responded firmly.Nick really was fearful inside. He wasn't sure of what he was doing. His mouth ran dry and his heart rate started to speed up. Cautiously wondering what will happen next.

"I was just saying!" Julie said back. "Hey, um, I'm going to go back to my dorm to drop off my map. I practically memorized the entire school. Ethan unpacked his stuff. It seemed that - for now - he was the sole occupant of his room. Aykay was also, which was a great relief to him, because he wouldn't wish that on anyone. He glanced at the schedule he'd been given and the copy he'd made of Aykay's. The only time he wouldn't be with her was one of the clubs... he had signed up for book club, while she had signed up for archery. This was a recipe for disaster. He wasn't there, and she'd be given a weapon...Aykay, meanwhile, was throwing her clothing haphazardly into her drawer, raging to herself the whole time. Her door was wide open, but she didn't care who heard. She almost hoped that guy would walk by and hear her. Then at least Ethan wouldn't be around to interfere..."That idiot... Who does he think he is..." she grumbled. "I could just punch him... What a jerk..."She threw an old stuffed polar bear on the bed. It wasn't like she needed it or anything, but it had been a gift from Ethan back when she'd accidentally exposed her ears at school and had gone three weeks without leaving her room out of embarassment. It was sweet of him."Next time I see that guy... He'd better run..." she continued, too angry to be sentimental.@epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @jupiter_hollow @glazzie @cutebirdy79

@xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79 @jupiter_hollow @dada_dragon @epicthings451 I'm sorry I haven't been on, guys. Life happens. It's been a super tough week. --Strider watched as Arsenic frequently looked back at him, then elsewhere. Every time he was under his gaze, he felt the burning need to glance away, not wanting to make eye contact right now. He came to shower and get ready for lunch. He did not expect a band of wild circus animals to be set loose in his room. He curiously looked over to the fight, seeing as they were loud and attracting attention. The crow-winged boy wondered how long it would be until a teacher got involved. Or two. Or three. He sighed, looking down and letting the noise blur away into pointlessness in his head. Strider couldn't say he knew what exactly he was to do at the time. Not like he could just announce he'd be taking a shower and then proceed to do so with four complete strangers in his room. The thought of doing that made his stomach churn.Though, based on her personality, he could honestly see Aykay doing just that in this situation. He almost smiled at that thought.(EDIT: Adding this, 'cause I didn't read well enough.)He watched the pair, brother and sister leave the room, a small wave of relief crashing over him as the stuffiness in the dorm decreased by just a bit. But, then again, there were two others still with him, and he felt his hopes of being alone crumple again. Strider kind of wished the other, tall one in the room would have gone after the sibling pair, but he guessed that he was not leaving Arsenic, assuming that the two of them knew each other.

@glazzie @dada_dragon @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79---Draco outwardly chuckled in the boy's face, coming within cloe proximity of him and flashing a serrated smile, his twisted fangs visible."You're not getting to your dorm before I allow you to."While Draco was messing with the boy in the hallway, Arsenic had remained inside the room by himself, the only other presence being Strider, though he didn't count the boy as anything more than a mouse he could scare for amusement. Still, he had to admit the mouse had an impressive pair of wings and he couldn't help but slowly saunter over, circling round the male until he was standing behind his back."Hm..." he hummed in approvement, noting the silky black feathers, then leaning forward to inspect them closely. Definitely a crow -- he'd determiend that before, but was just assuring himself that he didn't make anymore wrong assumptions (those upset him very much).Reaching out a curious hand, Arsenic ran his finers through the fluffy feathers, ruffling them, then tugging on them ever so lightly."Pretty." he muttered under his breath, eyes wide and curious.---Step by step, as waddly and slow as they were, Alexin and Eytan were steadily advancing on the second floor medical office. They had climbed the stairs at a fast pace, both aiming to get the pressure of their shoulders, and had soon reached the top, where their steps slowed down, partially because of the black avian's pain. They had no desire to go inside. The wooden door painted white didn't differ from any of the others lining this hallway, but the simple knowledge of what the room within actually held made them uneasy. And though it seemed ridiculous to be afraid of a human being clad in white and holding a thin harmless syringe, the memories of blood-stained white and needles protruding from their skins flooded back as soon as they entered the office."Alexin." Eytan clutched the albino's arm, earning himself a reassuring pat on the side of his neck. Amongst the sterile air and bleached walls smelling of chlorine, he found himself chasing his breath and gasping for oxygen, which the room seemed to be in severe shortage of. His constant steel mask managed to conceal the panic, just like his firmly clenched fists hid his trebling fingers. He felt a reassuring hand on his back, ever so warm and gentle -- a comforting presence in the otherwise uncanny room. And surely, he sensesd his muscles gradually uncoiling, relaxation rolling over his nerve ends like a sedative.Blowing out a breath, he nodded to indicate his calmness."Let's go ahead." Alexin suggested now that the taller avian's initial shock had passed. Since the fear had passed, all they had to deal with now was controlling Eytan's anger and wariness, both of which acted up as soon as the doctor entered. He growled at him.Said man was middle aged, partially bald despite not yet being old enough to suffer from hair fallout. He had a straight face, lacking wrinkles, but looked impossibly old because of his tired green eyes."How may I help you?" he wondered, sarcastically raising an eyebrow at the rumbling beast of a teenager a winged white-haired 'angel' seemed to have brought in.He had to admit, it wasn't the strangest thing he'd seen."I'm Alexin and this is E-""Sit down." the doctor mumbled to Eytan, before the white boy had even said his name. introductions were unnecessary and, considering the broken arm was painfully visible, he didn't need any additional chitchat other than an explanation of how everything happened. As for ow, he simply required the tall one to sit down.Something that he apparently didn't want to do. The bulky giant was glaring at him fercely from above, jaw set and eyes squinted. But although his fists were tightened, they were shaking."Sit down." the doctor repeated.Placing a hand on Eytan's bicep, Alexin looked up with a leveled gaze, very much soberly thinking now that he'd pushed aside whatever fears he had to aid Eytan with his. The command in his actions was audible and it made Eytan simmer down onto the berth, laying in full length."Now hold still." the man instructed, coming close with a pair of gloves, which made the avian shiver upon first contact with them. However cold the rubber was, he didn't feel pain yet, so he kept his nerves at bay as the doctor felt up his arm, nodding acknowledgingly as he periodically flinched or inhaled a sudden breath. It seemed as if the man's frown was deepening (as was Eytan's wariness), until he stood up, sighing."I'll have to give you a shot of morphine first."That was the line that did it for him. Letting out a protective growl, Eytan sat up, coiling in two and narrowing his body so as to look like a coiled spring, eady to pounce. His teeth were bared and he extended the feathers on his arms, appearing larger, taller and more threatening."Eytan!" feeble hands pressed down at his chest -- a fruitless attempt to tame him. Soon Alexin pressed himself against his chest to stop him from tearing the man apart limb from limb. The taller didn't push back again, careful not to knock his friend over, but retained his furious expression, nostrils flaring in anger like an angered bull. "Eytan... Don't." at the sound of Alexin's tired voice, he looked down, finding the other's equally tired eyes with his own. He knew Alexin hadn't sounded like that on purpose, but couldn't help but detect the note of dread in his words. And he knew that Alexin had been through a lot. Not only was he the more emotional and unstable of the two of them, but also theone willing to put more effort into doing good. And now, considering that all the good Alexin had tried to do today had resulted in misfortune, the smaller boy was probably a nervewreck. This made Eytan plop back down sharply, clench his fists in his lap, then shortly lay down. Drawing in a deep breath, he lay his left hand out for better access. Soon, said hand was gently taken, a reassuring, thankful pat on the back of his wrist signifying Alexin's gratitude.Still, there was still time for an accident. As the doctor approached, rather wearily, with a syringe of sedative, Eytan's clenched fist seemed to shake more."Hey, hey, don't look at it." Alexin advised, taking the other's chin and angling his head towards his own, so they could lock eyes. "Focus on something else."Looking at Alexin, Eytan managed a light quirk of his lips.It made him recall something entirely true. As he'd been told before -- His apathy was universal, while his affection was singular, and he knew very well where that lay.Not half an hour later, Eytan was exiting the medic's office with a bandaged chest and his arm in a sling, since he hadn't allowed the doctors to put it in a sling. He had a light smile on his face.

Ethan walked down the hallway, totally lost. He had decided to wander around for a while, but now he had no clue where he was.He was about to give up when he saw a couple of guys down the hall. Figuring they couldn't be any worse than the creepy kid and his angry companion, he jogged up to them."Hey, I'm kinda lost." he said, trying not to stare at the bandages on the one guy. Up close, he was a little more intimidating. He was a little taller than Ethan, much more muscled and covered in tattoos... Was everyone in this place this frightening-looking? Mind you, the other guy looked like death... "I was just wondering if you could tell me which way the dorms are. I need to check up on my sister..."

@xoxo5959 @epicthings451 @cutebirdy79 @dada_dragon @jupiter_hollowAnd then there were two.Strider watched Arsenic with a more cautious pair of eyes than anything else, the shimmery, orange-flecked irises following his movements carefully and silently until the figure went out of view, and was determined to be standing behind him. The defiant crow-human did not turn, nor look behind him, being quiet and attentive, waiting for him to speak. As his feathers began to be touched, then ruffled and disturbed, he couldn't help but flinch a few times, turning to try and glance behind him to see what Arsenic was up to. Although his wings were rather grand, they were sensitive, and quite delicate. Pain could be brought upon Strider simply by pulling at the soft feathers. The boy fought back the burning urge to flap his large wings right into Arsenic's face in annoyance, but they did flutter a bit while they were being poked at by a foreign touch. The avian remained silent, only tilting his head in the slightest at Arsenic's comment. Sure, his wings did give him a hint of modesty, but he personally wouldn't classify them as pretty. His feathers may have been soft and pleasing to pet and touch, but all of them stuck out in weird directions, since he never bothered too much to tame them down or keep them neat.

@dada_dragon @glazzie @xoxo5959 @epicthings451 @cutebidy79-Eytan's head snapped left and he automatically narrowed his eyes whoever was speaking before even bothering to give them a once over. He straightened into his full height, letting out an indignant growl low in his throat, then turned to the white-haired boy currently exiting the medical bay, having been held up by filling up medical papers."Oh hello." he chirped upon noticing the additional company, peeking from behind Eytan's shoulder, as the larger avian blocked his view of whoever was speaking. Despite the entire needle ordeal, Alexin seemed awfully content, even now when it was obvious that the least his partner wanted was to socialize. It wasn't as if the albino didn't notice his frown and glare, he just pretended not to. Truly, he had no desire to along with Eytan's crap at the moment -- the stranger seemed nice and was worth a little socializing."I'm guessing you're new?" he wondered, head tilted to the side in curosity. "And lost?" at this he let out a sheepish chuckle, scratching the back of his neck. "Just assuming here.""Yeah." came the curt reply from Eytan, who, obviously, wanted the entire ordeal done as soon as possible. After glaring at and receiving a scolding look from Alexin, he turned on his heel, heading towards the girls' dorms."Move." he ordered the two before Alexin had even had the chance to open his mouth and protest against his grumpiness. The albino sighed, turning to Ethan."Sorry what were you looking for?"----From a leftewards crane, he tilted his head right and blinked with wide, curious eyes at the array of silky feathers. The dim light in the room made them seem almost fluorescent, as the sunrays crawling through the window illuminated them, painting each feather multiple colors. They were so beautiful...Coming close, Arsenic buried his face in the base of one wing, reaching out to glide his fingertips over a feather, eventually taking hold of it and ripping it out.
