@xoxo5959 @jupiter_hollow @cutebirdy79 @epicthings451 @quillbunnyStrider had gone full-on quivering, his sides shaking with all the voices on the roof. He couldn't think, couldn't feel. All he knew is that he couldn't handle it. The last time he had this many people around him was at a public park when he was about eight, and that had been the worst experience of his life. Everybody, the mothers and children, ran screaming from the park after they had seem him in the air (because at the time, he thought it was cool to show off his supernatural qualities), one father even coming after him with a rolled-up newspaper, waving his fists in the air and shouting cruel things. He didn't like groups of people, to say the least. Scratch that. He didn't like people in general.When Alexin came to his side, he was still unable to process anything, besides the fact that things seemed to be calming down a bit. He hid his face in his palms, curling himself up even tighter. Strider was in no shape to face the world right now.

He climbed in and quickly held is nose for the smell. He slowly open the door and look left to right to check for anyone their. He walked out of the door and silently shut it. The stench fulled the hall and many students were covering their nose as well.Avery witness as Nick jumped and went inside. She ran to the front door and walked in. Sr tryed to find the hall that Nick would be in.

She saw Alexin beside the crow boy from earlier and some dark haired boy, who Alice took as a hot-tempered guy because he told a girl to shut up more often. Alice ran towards the building with ease and as quiet as she could be. She walked towards Alexin and crow boy. "Is he alright?" Alice asked, concerned. 'I guess saving that baby squirrel changed me for a bit' Alice thought as sh sat in front of the two boys. Alice stared at the crow boy for a few seconds before looking at Alexin. 'I think he can handle this. Time to go back to my normal helpless and sometimes cruel self' Alice thought. Then she smiled at Alexin and stood up. Then she made a running jump of the roof and landed on her feet. Then she ran inside, panting. When a teacher passed by she acted like she was just walking back to her dorm. When the teacher passed, she ran to her dorm slamming the door behind her.

@glazzie @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @cutebirdy79 @quillbunny-Frowning in worry, Alexin tightened his hand over the other's shoulder and glancing sideways at Eytan as in indication that he had no idea what to do.He himself hadn't gone to any severe traumatic experiences, since he'd been kept mostly away from the outside world, like most of the teenagers in the academy. Eytan treated his own problems like they weren't there and didn't even acknowledge them, so Alexin had never learned how to deal with somebody, anybody in a state like this.Up to now he had managed to deduct what the reason for the breakdown was, but until the rest of the people left, he couldn't quite tackle that problem. The other's shoulder was trembling beneath his fingers, breaths visibly coming in short gasps and he could guess his heartrate was skyrocketing as well."He's having a panic attack." he heard Eytan note behind him, the black-haired boy apparently observing Strider as well.He nodded in response, confirming that he knew, but looking as desperate as possible so as to signal that he stll didn't know hw to deal with this."Everyone scram." Eytan repeated again, making himself as clear and firm as possible, voice mainly targeting the loud girl.Meanwhile another girl had landed on the roof, making the situation perhaps even more intense. She questioned about Strider's state, to which Alexin replied with a brief absentminded smile and an answer of 'Not at the moment.'He briefly watched as she jumped off, nodding as a goodbye. Once again, she'd come and went.Alexin sighed, turning his attention back to Strider.He could guess there was emotional trauma, fear of socialization, introvertness and countless other problems hidden behind this dilemma. The boy truly was a tortured soul, one that humanity had stepped on a bit too hard and had broken irrecoverably. He looked... scared. Alexin's eyebrow locked in a worried look and he slipped his hand over the boy's back, rubbing small circles there.What did he fear...? Crowds? Conversations? Socializing? ...Opening up? Or maybe he feared people alltogether.

They mumbled something to each other but Nick couldn't make out what they were saying. Another teacher came by and caught him staring at the room "Did you had something to do with this?!" The brunette teacher asked him sternly. "Uhh no ma'am" Nick spat. The teacher narrowed her eyes at him but then walked to the science lab along with the other teachers. Nick let out a relieving sigh and jet out of that all. Avery ran and turned down a hall but then suddenly bumped into Nick "Ow...." Avery wined as she rubbed her head. She look at who she bumped into and saw it was Nick "Nick! There you are! I saw you on the roof. What were you doing up their?!"Nick rubbed his head and slowly looked at Avery "I ran into these guys and they invited me to join them."

He barely even registered Alice's short appearance, then her leave. The only one he could honestly feel right now was Alexin.Strider felt pain. A lot of pain. Pain when he realized why this was happening to him. Though it was not physical pain, emotional pain could hurt just as much as a sword through the chest, if not more. He couldn't calm himself down, though he was beginning to process things easier. Like how bad this was for his image. God, this was terrible. He would probably be seen as something fragile and delicate, now. And the more Strider panicked to calm himself, the worse the waves of trembling came crashing down on him. He wished he could disappear.The crow-boy now felt as if he drowning. Like this torture cycle wouldn't end. The only thing worse than reliving the past, was living it. And he'd already done that, and he wouldn't ever again, not for all the money in the world. But reliving it isn't pretty either, and that was what he was suffering right about now.

Eytan had always been closeted about his panic attacks, not wanting to remember or speak about them, much less bring them up... and Alexin feared that he would refuse to do so when another parahuman was in question."Can't hear us, probably can't even see." the black-haired boy informed him, crouching down in front f Strider and snapping in front of his face."Probably would react to temperature change. Or touch. Did you try calming him by touch?" he questioned, receiving a nod, as Alexin was still trying to relax the other by rubbing circles on his back."Temperature change then."Looking up at the other, Alexin nodded, moving in front of Strider and pulling him into an embrace, perhaps not as tight as needed, but nevertheless the proximity was close. His wings bent up, encircling both of them (though manly Strider) in a warm coccoon."You're safe, Strider." Alexin reassured, Eytan crouching behind the avian and placing a cigarette-warmed hand on his back between his wings.

@xoxo5959 @jupiter_hollow @cutebirdy79 @epicthings451 @quillbunnyStrider, as soon as he felt a soothing heat, not smothering, but something along the lines of being gentle, began to slow his quivering, his breath calming gradually. While he pressed up to the warmth, he felt the tremors cease and his breathing steadying, aside from the few hiccups here and there. His throat felt tight, and his cheeks were flushed, hair messy and pushed back off the front of his face.The avian boy's eyes were still glued shut, as he did not wish to open them yet. He felt another surge of panic rush through him and he jolted, biting it back. He didn't know what to do when he opened his eyes. He didn't know what to say.

Alexin cooed again, smiling as the other complied to the embrace, their warmth having a seemingly relaxing effect on him. Looking at Eytan over the avian's shoulder, Alexin beamed at the sight of him smiling, a rare expression on his face."He's doing fine." the other informed him, removing his warm hand and standing up, taking yet another drag of his cigarette and glancing sideways to the room, which, it seemed, was now invaded by teachers who apparently couldn't see them yet.Despite the commotion, Alexin remained where he was, attempting to block all noises with the feathers of his wings, still calming the other by touch.He hoped to be able to get him off the roof before the crowd of angry teachers arrived.

As soon as his warm, orange-tinted eyes met Alexin's muted, pale blue ones, he felt an overwhelming guilt, wanting to apologize a dozen times, then another million to him for the breakdown he had. The fact that he stuck with him through it made his heart swell with gratitude.

He tilted his head to the side, still observing him. He couldn't quite deduct if Strider was okay or not, knowing the recovery from a breakdown of such a degree, but hoped to never have to see the other in such pain ever again."Are you alright?" he questioned quietly, practically whispering the question, voice gentle and comforting. "Because if so, we've to get inside... Mob of teachers heading this way."

He couldn't fully understand why he wasn't left alone in his fit. Normally he would be, and he'd simply mull it over, dealing with it over time. But he had somebody with him to comfort him, and to say the least, it was a nice feeling.Strider blinked, nodding in silence. Right, he figured teachers would flip after all the trouble they unexpectedly caused. He couldn't help but feel it was his fault for wanting to go out here in the first place. But all he felt at the moment was guilt.

With a last glance at Eytan and an exchange of nods, he took Strider's hand and pulled him steadily towards one of the windows of the other rooms."Now, I'm not sure if the lock works... because it's glitchy, but I should be able to get it open." he mumbled, fiddling with the lock of the window, before finally undoing it and heaving the glass up. "Let's get in." he exclaimed, happy to have finally managed to do something right - after leading four people on a roof with a risk of falling, overcrowding Strider and then letting them get found out, it was refreshing to not get caught by an angry crowd of teachers.Crawling in first, Alexin soon discovered the ground to be further down than expected and tumbled in an almost perfect sprawl on the floor."Oomph!"

He carefully inched down into the room, helping pull the boy from the ground. The avian boy did feel as if he owed one to Alexin.He noticed Eytan with a half-nod. He was quite intimidating in his eyes, seeing as the boy could easily tower over him. He was tall for his age, but he was very lanky, his limbs thin and frail. But he didn't dare come up front with his slight fear of Eytan, not after what had just happened on the roof.

Alice heard a knock and opened the door. "Yes ma'am" Alice said, flatly."Um I happened to notice you running to your dorm. Do you have something to do with the science room incident?" The auburn haired teacher asked.Alice slapped herself mentally for having been so stupid for running in the hall and Alice needed someway to get out of school or do something. "Oh that. I guess you know how I work now. You may have been informed that I am a little angel but you should know that I am the total opposite" Alice answered, confident."Oh so you did that alone?" The auburn teacher asked, her eyes narrowed."Oh yes ma'am. I am a one woman operation" Alice replied with a smirk. Then auburn teacher held her hand to her ear and mumbled some words. Alice heard every world through her cat ears. "You can stop your search I caught the girl" the auburn teacher had mumbled. Then she turned to Alice and roughly gripped her arm. "Ooh guess I have to go see the boss" Alice said as she was roughly pulled along towards the princibal's office. 'Dang this teacher is rough' Alice thought as she let out a frustrated breath.--------As Alice was walking with the rough teacher, she heard a thud come from one of the rooms. The teacher stopped and faced the sound. "Hey it was probably a large rat or something" Alice said, loudly. The teacher ignored Alice's comment and pulled her towards the room. "Oh my gosh" Alice screamed. The teacher turned and looked at Alice, only to get scratched in the face. "Oops sorry. I got so scared, there was something running down that hallway" Alice apologized as she pointed to the hallway on the left of her. The teacher put her hand to her right cheek and glared at Alice and pulled her along that hall. (Alice trying to be a hero again 😋)

"I'm a bit clumsy with getaways." he joked, chuckling lightly, then standing up with Strider's help."Thanks. This is the Social Studies classroom by the way, just for future references."As the two avians had gotten inside, Eytan remained where he was, perched nonchalantly on the roof. If anything, fitting through the small window of the Social Studies was a hardy task for him and he didn't want to look like an idiot. And furthermore, staying put for the teachers to find would probably save the others some trouble.That very statement made him frown - it made him sound like a self-proclaimed hero, when all he wanted to do was remain where he was a have a smoke in fresh air. All that was left of his cigarette, however, wasn't much.Judging by the havoc going on in the hallways and the noticeable crowd forming beneath the roof as a result of Alexin's rendesvous, it wasn't a wild guess that Eytan was beginning to get annoyed. Going straight through the science classroom would cause some commotion, he was sure, and would land him in the principal's office, which he knew by experience was a tranquile place.Through the window it was.Crouching by the ledge, cigarette in hand, he unhinged the window's lock, heaving up the glass. Upon first contact with the ammonia clouded inside the room, however, his cigarette sizzled loudly. The chemical reaction between the two ignited the ammonia air and produced a minor explosion - it wasn't big enough to inflame anything else but the desks in the room, but managed to make Eytan lose his footing and hurtle downwards from the second floor window.The crash was outwardly nightmarish.He felt his arms take most of the pressure of the fall, audibly hearing the bone break, and growling in pain as his back also connected to the concrete below.His chest compressed, a few ribs undoubtedly cracked, if not broken.In the end, he lay mostly motionless on the ground, restoring his lungs' breathing capacity.Opening his eys and frowning at the sky, he heaved out a sigh."**** my life..."

Julie ignored the tall boy's rude comment and went a good distance away from the group. Just when she was about to jump off the roof, a small explosion sounded from the second floor. She saw the same boy who had made the rude comment blow out of a window below. 'YOLO!!!!!!!!!' Julie thought as she leaped off the roof. She ended her landing softly using all the energy she gained when she was falling and doing some summersaults. --Luke jumped off the roof before the minor explosion took place and landed in a nearby tree. He was not used to all these air stunts like Julie, so when reached the tree, he forgot to grab onto a branch. Instead, he landed on a pretty big tree branch and hurt his manly-body-part-that-really-hurts-when-you-hit-it-down-there. "Argh!!!!" Avery turned to Nick then jogged to catch up.Nick put his hands in his pocket "Nothing, nothing" He said quietly."Find don't tel-" Avery was cut off by a sound of a minor explosion. "What was that?" Wailing and screaming and pleading could be heard, also whining about the stench, following by a booming voice of a teacher. Strider flinched as he heard the whole hall scream at a muffled crackling sound, though he supposed it was a lot louder to the outside. He looked back the way they came. Eytan wasn't there. The avian looked back to Alexin, finally speaking up."Your friend's gone."

It seemed as if the science classroom was the center of havoc.Heeding Strider's words, Alexin glanced back at the open window, discovering the black-haired boy to be truly gone. He shrugged."Yeah, he probably came back inside." he stated, nonchalant as ever about what the other boy did. Eytan was usually a proffessional at getting himself out of harms way with or without alexin's help so the white boy had learned not to worry about him.Still, as soon as the words left his lips, realization hit hard and he jolted up."Oh my god, the science room!" he exclaimed, practically scrambling back through the window and onto the roof, looking sideways to find the window nearby smoking heavily. So it had been an explosion...Hurrying over, he reached towards the ledge, bent on going inside and finding Eytan, but saw the boy below the window as soon as he peeked over the roof."EYTAN!" he yelled, jumping off the shingles and slowing down the fall with a flap of his wings. He landed staight on his feet, crouching down to absorb the landing and scurried to the tall boy's side quickly."O-oh god, are you alright? Crap, your arm... you're not okay, god, I'm so sorry!" he rambled, hecticly checking the other for more injuries and whatnot as Eytan himself lay nonchalantly with his limbs akimbo.

The black-winged boy figured he caused the explosion, since he was holding a cigarette. He remembered that little detail.All this on the first day. Strider shook his head. He wasn't sure if he could survive if every seemingly normal day went like this. He'd be reduced to a nervous wreck by the end of the year. Surely this was just an odd day that just so happened to be the first day. He hoped.Strider perked up as he saw Alexin shout out and move over back to where they came. His eyes widened as he watched the other avian leave the room. Instinctively, Strider rushed to follow, but as he peeped out of the window, he was grabbed and harshly hoisted away from the window by somebody.That somebody was a teacher. Crap.Strider began lashing out, screeching and flailing to get out of this teacher's death grip."You a part of this?" he growled at Strider. Strider narrowed his eyes at him. He wasn't having any of this."Get off of me!" he shouted, fighting back, trying to shimmy his limbs out of the teacher's vice-like hold on him. It was pointless."Not a chance. Let's go." He watched the teacher signaled to the others behind him to file out to the headmaster's office. Strider went ballistic, flapping his wings and scratching at the teacher's arms, but it was to no avail. Strider yelled as loud as he could in defeat."ALEXIN!" It was more of a signal that he was being taken away rather than a cry for help, since he knew the other boy was busy tending to Eytan. Strider just wanted him to know that he wouldn't be able to help.
