"Step away from the boy" Alice hissed as she came up beside the boy. Bryce got bored by staring out the window so he stepped out of his room and began to wander the halls. Then he saw a white haired boy and other people but he decided to not talk to them and kept walking. Then he smelt food from a close vending machine. "I guess I'm so hungry I smelt the food from here and through the vending machine. Gosh" Bryce murmured to himself as his stomach growled and he walked towards the vending machine.

Heh. c;--Strider flapped out his black wings a bit as Arsenic finally got through to him when he spoke. But he couldn't possibly... forget it. The avian didn't need any trouble, he might as well do the best he could and that be it. He wasn't too keen on being intimidated into doing things this other boy's way, as he wanted Strider to do, but he figured there was a slightly dangerous element somewhere in Arsenic that he would not like to toy with.So, on he went, into the bathroom of /their/ dorm. That gave him the chills. The fact that this was what his year would have in store for him, this Arsenic character, would be living with him. He honestly didn't know how to feel. He had no words for the matter. Besides the prayer he sent every fifteen minutes, that he could just go back home to his older brother and everything could go back to the way Strider liked it best. And that was not just primarily because of Arsenic.It had been only more than half a day he'd spent in this academy, and he was already frightened of it. He resented it, almost. It was crowded, there were people he didn't know, and his anxiety levels were out the roof. He never stopped having that breakdown- the one of the roof of the place- he simply kept it down, deep underneath, he was screaming. This his probably the worst he's felt in a long time, and his ability to keep himself standing upright was slowly slipping from his firm grasp. He was dizzy. Everything was spinning. And he had a feeling it wouldn't stop.Strider took a long, deep breath, moving himself to start the shower. He, of course, preferred his showers scalding hot, and that's exactly how he had it. The black-winged boy had already rid his clothes to step in, not even bothering to check the temperature. He couldn't feel it, not when his senses were this numb. Strider make quick work of washing himself, trying his best to keep his wings out of the way of the steady flow of water from the shower head. He felt his stomach churn as he simply thought of spending the school year here. The thought made him weak in the knees, and he pushed it aside to a dark corner of his mind. He'll think about it later, if he manages to feel okay by whenever "later" was.

Ethan smiled knowingly."I can see how that would be a bit of a problem." he said.He was a little relieved to hear that though. He'd been worried that their dorms being apart would give her a chance to get into trouble, but maybe the proximity to the teachers would make her think twice.No, probably not..."I hope I'm not putting you too much out of your way." he continued. "Um... I don't think I got your name..."

Julie finally found her way to the boys dorm hallway and saw both Nick and Luke on the floor. She walked over to the small group consisting of Avery, Nick, and Luke. "What happened?" she asked as she bent over to look at Luke. "T-That.....bully slapped the crap out of me." Luke managed to say but then cringed in pain. "And no, I don't need a medic or anything." he quickly added in. "Um, ok..." Julie said and turned towards Avery. "Avery, by any chance was this... kid a snake?" --For this part of the post, please keep in mind the following:The school is not smack dab in the middle of an isolated forest. Its in a normal town just like any other normal school. The possibilities of government agents are higher now that some physical damages have happened, such as the explosion in the science room. And now I continue......--Outside the school campus~Government agents strode along the side walk, but they were disguised as normal teenagers. The word had spread to the government that a small explosion had happened at a school known as Lehigh Academy....@dada_dragon @glazzie @cutebirdy79 @jupiter_hollow@xoxo5959

The other did look like a dog, he mused, though not in a bad way. The scruffy pelt refused to stay slicked against his head, his tail wagging around excitedly, and it all made Draco want to find the kid something to fetch. He thought it'd be a bit insulting, but 'Sam' seemed gullible and hyperactive enough to actually throw himself after a stick like a real canine.Looked like he was more dog than boy -- in all honesty, the fluffy puppy look fit him adorably well.Bending down to the boy's eye level, Draco smiled stretchily."'Course you're Lassy, kid." he droned out, as if it was a common fact. "Kinda lackin' the pointy ears though..."He flicked the boy's ear again, threading his fingers through his quiff to ruffle it a second time.The fingers in-between the boy's strands curled instantaneously as a sharp hiss made him startle. His head snapped rightwards suddenly enough to crack a vertebrae, making his neck emmit a subtle snapping noise."Wht!?" he mumbled out incredulously, voice muffled by surprise. He still couldn't comprehend the situation half a minute later, despite staring intently at the angry girl. Which, frankly he couldn't understand what she was angry about, why she had decided to randomly pull the hostility card on him even though she'd never in her life seen him before... Furthermore, why she was trying to apparently... protect the dog boy?He frowned in confusion, then grimaced tastelessly. Was this chic an idiot? A schizophrenic? Psychopath? Did she like little boys or something? Jesus, she looked insane, if anything."The heck do you want, dude?" he rumbled out in confusion, voice raspy and slightly tired.Relaxing his body and shortening his spine, Draco discovered that with his lighter body, he was still much taller and pretty much twice as heavy as the 'thing' that was trying to pick a fight. The reason for said fight was also generally unknown to him.He'd just bumped against the kid, then started a casual conversation, which...apparently had triggered the crazy girl to jump at him. With unsheathed clothes, nonetheless. Possessive much? Or, like he'd suspected just batshit crazy.---@glazzie-An eye roll was befitting to the situation...Slow, scrawny and distressed to the point of irking Arsenic, Strider had turned out to be a strange roommate. Then again, the younger boy mused, he was sure to turn out interesting, if anything. His antics, behaviour and the pinch of emo all combined in a ball of weird called after a Lord of the Rings character... He half expected the kid's real name to be Aragorn, or Estel or whichever of the ridiculously many aliases of the Kind of Gondor...Sauntering over boredly to the bed on the room's other side, Arsenic kicked off his shoes and settled on Strider's bed, crossing his legs so he was sitting next to his luggage. With the nonchalance he usually depicted, he opened a bag, pulling out the various items it held, most of which clothes.The boy possessed a ridiculous amount of them. Was he cold-blooded? Or just constantly cold, like Arsenic himself?The parahuman blinked with a bored sigh, chucking the shirt he held behind his back in the nonsensical pile the clothes were forming on the floor next to Strider's bed."Tsk... Don't you have any books, littl Feather?" he mumbled to himself, referring to his roommate.---@dada_dragon It's alright hun, I'm not mad 😊-"Y-yeah..." Alexin muttered, blushing in light embarassment. He hadn't meant to badmouth the school and their organisational preferences and felt slightly guilty for making a bad impression on Ethan on the school's behalf.He had his head lowered, though the next question made him lift it."I uh... Alex. That is, Alexin. Alex is the more normal version." He chuckled lightly, lifting his shoulders in a sheepish manner, then motioning in front of them, where Eytan was limping."And Eytan."

After a period of time, Luke stood up and brushed himself off. "Since this happened, I think I'm gonna go stay in my dorm for a while." Luke said. "Nice meeting you guys, Nick and Avery." he said and then turned and slipped into him dorm.--"Alright." Julie said when Luke headed towards him dorm. "Well, I guess I'll see you two around." she said to both Avery and Nick. Then she walked out of the boys dorm hallway and back to that empty hallway when she was first inside the school. Once she found it, Julie did some flips, jumps, tumbles, etc., being careful not to hit any of the walls. 'I wonder if any other cheerleader randomly does this in the hallway like I do.... Oh who cares!!!!! I'ma parahuman!!!!' Julie thought and let the energetic part of her come alive.@jupiter_hollow @dada_dragon @carter@cutebirdy79 @xoxo5959

"My ears are fine," He shook his head as his ear was flicked, frowning lightly as the other's head snapped to the side. He looked the same direction and gave a confused look at a very angry looking girl. "Who're you?" He asked, sniffing at her as to try and figure out who she was. "I don't...why're you mad at him?" Sam asked with a glance at the rattlesnake. "What did you do?" His face gave off his general confusion not actually knowing who either of them were despite having already made up his mind and deciding he liked the older teenager who'd previously bumped into him. -Dorm 11 was a dark place, windows blocked and door locked as a tall figure slept curled up on the top bunk of the rooms bed. A soft grumble came from him as he rolled over yellow-green eyes blinking awake and he stretched, letting out a yawn. A digital clock lay near-by and the teenager eventually forced himself to sit up. "Slept to long..." He muttered to himself as he made his way down from the tallest part of the room. "Oh well." Slowly he opened one of the curtains letting out a small hiss of annoyance at the drastic change of dark to light.

Alice repeated with a sarcastic laugh. "You don't get it do you. I am here because I hate to see people get pushed around" Alice exclaimed as her pupils shook with anger. 'What are you doing, Alice? This isn't your fight but I guess it's to late isn't it' Alice thought as she tried to calm down a bit. Her heart was beating fast and her canines were sharpening and her tail was swishing in irritation.Bryce got to the vending machine and found out he didn't have any money. 'Ugh stupid stomach' Bryce thought as he slammed his fists into the vending machine. Then Bryce heard a crack and looked at the vending machine glass, it was beginning to crack. "What did I just do?" Bryce muttered to himself as he watched the vending machine glass crack. Bryce banged on the glass again and it fell away and he smiled. He grabbed 3 packs of crackers and then walked away licking his lips. Then he passed the three boys from before again. "If your hungry, go to the vending machine. The food is free now" Bryce told them. Then as he was turning to walk away he smelt blood and looked at his knuckles. "Uh oh" Bryce uttered as he saw the blood. Then he quickly walked to his dorm, to clean his knuckles.

I'm not angry at anyone, nor will I be anymore. xD But I want to explain something (like a calm human being to calm human beings) that I don't think is common knowledge here. o3o Draco the malicious rattle snake parahuman with anger issues (who picks a fight with everyone and is not afraid to hit a girl, apparently xD), Arsenic the manipulative deadly intelligent stingray (who knows a few dozen ways to kill you in your sleep), Eytan the generally hostile and war-raged vulture parahuman... are as much my precious characters as Alexin is. The fact that I didn't make them kind, friendly, justice-driven and conveniently similar to your characters does not mean I made them for the sole purpose of them being your characters' enemies. I'm not going to let them lose against someone just so 'good can win'. I didn't make them as the bad guys. Like, they're not meant for that, dudes... Okay? They're not some randomly angry, violent, /disposable/ characters. There's a reason for their behaviour - they were a victim of their differences and were treated with hostility, just like some of your characters. I mean, if you think about it, there are other reactions to violence, pain and hate besides depression and desolation and the main ones are more violence, pain and hate. Those are actually the most common reactions - the victim covers his or her feelings with malice, nonchalance and violence, often trying to establish themselves as leader or boss, to ensure that the past won't repeat itself. I figured that would be common knowledge, but apparently it isn't, so I wanted to get that out of the way.Thank you for the attention. ^^

He turned around to find a girl standing by his window. "Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!" Luke screamed and accidentally backed up against a desk. "I-If your here to slap the crap out of me or chuck me out the window then please don't." he said to her. --Julie just kept doing her flips and stuff down that empty hall...

His tail had stopped wagging and his smile was long faded. "Please don't fight..." He said, stepping forward to stand between them though his short height did little to help. "It's okay really, He probably didn't mean it-" Sam said to the girl who seemed like she was trying to come to his rescue, his words cut off as soon as he turned and saw Draco's should've been broken jaw. "I-Is that normal?" He asked, eyes wide in shock. "Do you need a tooth doctor?" -@epicthings451-After seeing people littered around the outside of the school the cat parahuman stepped away from the window, letting out another yawn and turning on the lights to his dorm. He glanced around the space and figured he should leave at the very least to see if he could find something to eat. Jax opened the door to his dorm and took a step into the hall. Soon regretting his choice as a girl did flips in the hallway - almost hitting the tall male in the face with her foot. "Watch it!" He hissed at her with a angry flick of his tail.

And in most cases, she can back up her insults with her fists, but here... Well, everyone's a parahuman here. She wouldn't be picking fights with regular humans anymore... She could get hurt... But she doesn't care."He sighed. What a piece of work she was."Dorm 1, I think. And don't worry about coming along. I have my doubts she's there anyways."

O.oSince Jax walked out of his dorm, which is in the boy's dorm hall and Julie almost slapped him in the face with her foot. and Avery and Nick were still there.@jupiter_hollow @dada_dragon @cutebirdy79 @glazzie --Avery stood back as Julie flipped down the hall. Another parahuman came out as Julie's foot almost hit him. Avery let out a quiet laugh from his reaction. Nick turned his head at Avery when he heard a soft snicker from her "What was so funny?" He asked confusedAvery stopped laughing but a smile still remained "It's nothing. Let's find a vending machine or something." Avery suggested before leaving the hall.Nick shrugged off his confusion and followed Avery out of the hall. When they got to the vending machine, the glass was shattered around it. Nick's ear twitched, wondering what happened before they got there.Avery also was confused of the situation but she looked on the brighter side "Well, free snacks" She said as she reached in, avoiding the sharp edges of the broken glass. She grabbed two bags of chips and lightly tossed one to Nick.Nick quickly grabbed it and started to open it from the top.

The guys' dorms were pretty much the same as the girls'."Wolves are really fast and have a lot of energy. So if you really don't want to fight, just keep dodging, right? The other guy will wear himself out." she said, not once losing her condescending tone. She didn't want to come off as a softy. "That's pretty cool" Alice exclaimed as her eyes went back to normal and her tail swished curiously. "What else can you do?" Alice asked as she stared up at the snake parahuman, curiously.Bryce throw the crackers on his bed and then went to the bathroom. He washed his wounds with soap and water, then poured some peroxide on his wounds. Then he wrapped his cuts and went to sit on his bed. He opened a pack of crackers and he grimaced because as pain coursed through his knuckles from the sudden movement.

@carter @cutebirdy79 @epicthings541 @xoxo5959 @dada_dragon Sorry I haven't been posting. You guys are moving fast and it's hard to keep up! Haha. @jupiter_hollow I just read the thing you wrote about your characters up there. That was a lovely explanation! I personally adore all of your characters who lack the gentle personality, I think it makes them very unique. I view them more as tortured souls than bad guys, though. You can tell that they've been through a lot just by getting to know the character. That's my favorite part of your characters. Their personalities are interesting and I love interacting with Arsenic and Alexin alike. --Strider didn't take very long in the shower, he was out in a matter of minutes. The part that was keeping him behind the bathroom door for so long was his dampened wings. He stood, wings curled around him as he tried to towel his black feathers back to their naturally soft and fluffy state, like they should be. It was taking a while because he refused to ruffle and crumple the feathers with the movement of the towel, everything had to be gently done.

@cutebirdy79 @carter-Draco pulled back in bafflement, completely breaking his looming posture as some of his vertebrae snapped back in place. He straightened himself properly and leaned slightly backwards.He honeslty didn't know who to stare at first. The obviously suicidal puppy dog cutie standing in the way of his poisonous fangs, Tipsy's claws and both their fists, or said Tipsy who was apparently born in the deepest, darkest circles of PMS La La Land.Both were insane, he concluded. But then again, not really. He could guess Cutesy there (or... Sam or whatever?) lacked the brain capacity to estimate his chances of coming out alive after such a dumb move. Dogs weren't all that intelligent as everyone ruled them out to be. The exmaple for that was currently staring up at him with huge doe eyes, to which he smiled and nodded in mock understanding. The girl, on the other hand, confused the absolute heck out of him. She was locomoting through a clusterf*ck of emotions at murder velocity and, honestly, anyone who could switch from trigger happy to happy go luck within a goddamned milisecond was either wasted or in serious need of some help..."'s alright kid." he informed the dog parahuman, reaching a hand over to pat his head in reassurance. He flicked a doggy ear before craning his body forward and leaning his elbows on Sam's shoulders, chin resting on the top of his head. Settling comfortably in the position, with the smaller and substantially shorter boy used as an elbow rest of sorts, Draco craned his neck to fix the girl he thought he was going to fight with a raised eyebrow."Dude, are you drunk?" he snorted, quirking a lip. "Or like what? Are you on your period or something?"----@dada_dragon-"Punches?" Alexin wondered, slighly baffled by the reply. Being a tomboy was one thing, but throwing punches was a whole different story, which actually made him bustle with unease. Eytan was a troublemaker on his own, often not hesitating to start first when provoked enough. Still, as spasmodic and careless as the girl sounded, she probably wouldn't be able to figure out how to annoy his friend to the boiling point."Ah... I think we'll be in trouble if we let Eytan lead then."As if on queue, the black-haired parahuman kicked the first dorm's door open with one foot, inviting himself in as nonchalantly as possible after not discovering anything."Eytan!" Alexin exclaimed, having noticed which foot connected with the wood. "You'll hurt yourself.""We can go now." came the short annoucement, the older parahuman not even bothering to acknowledge Alexin's worry. He was far too angry and ovrwhelmed with the annoying ache in his limbs to give enough of a heck for a worried dove. "Move."Said dove remained behind with an incredulous expression and crossed arms. He was slightly worried about the girl, who, judging by her brother's description, was a handful, and almost opted for remaining behind and searching for her along with Ethan. Eytan's retreating form waddling ahead, however, made him lower his head in shame."I'm sorry Ethan, I've to go help elsewhere." he gently informed the boy, squeezing his arm in a warm apology, then hurried off after Eytan and hooking an arm around the larger boy.Settling against the older parahuman's side felt comforting despite his hindering weight that both had distributed between each other. For a while, Eytan remained pliant, unwilling to help himself to Alexin's support, as well as refusing to as a sort of revenge for paying the price of his little dove's socializing, but soon rested an arm on Alexin's shoulder, the warm limb working like forgiveness for the white avian. He was practically beaming now.----@glazzie-"Your taste in clothes is appaling." Arsenic mumbled out as soon as Strider stepped out of the bathroom, the childish whine audible in his voice. Chucking a wool sweater with some ridiculous pattern behind himself, he stuck his hands back into Strider's partially empty rucksack and fished out another few shirts."Haven't you got anything interesting in here?"

Ethan said a quick goodbye and was about to continue his search when..."Making some new friends are we?"Aykay was standing behind him, watching Eytan and Alexin walk away."I dunno if I'd call them friends, but the one guy was pretty helpful. His friend didn't talk much." he answered. "Where were you?""Just now? The guys' dorms. They're not that exciting, y'know. Kinda boring." she answered."I don't want to know what you were even doing in there." he said. They began walking towards the main hall together. "Meet anyone new?""Some guy named Luke." she said casually. "He seemed pretty chill. You would probably get along with him. I should introduce you two. You could be best friends or whatever the masculin equivalent of that is."She stopped suddenly, catching him off-guard. Ahead of them was the guy she'd been arguing with earlier along with two parahumans they hadn't seen before."Aykay..." he said, grabbing her arm. She had tensed up and her hands were already in fists. "Let's go a different way. I don't think he's seen us and you don't need to start anything right now..."Aykay pulled her arm away. "I'm not gonna hide like a scared little baby." she said. "I won't start anything if that's what you want, but I'm not about to let him think I'm scared of him."Ethan nodded, still not entirely convinced and fell into step behind her as she walked past the guy. He asked, munching on another chip.Avery continued to eat as she thought of Nick's question "I don't really know, we signed up for the clubs, we explored to school. Wait." Avery took another chip "We didn't check out the courtyard yet. You wanna go there?" She asked then ate the chip.Nick crumbed his empty chip bag and stuffed it into his pocket "Yeah sure."

@jupiter_hollow @carter @xoxo5959 @epicthings541 @dada_dragon @cutebirdy79 Strider made a face as he found his stuff scattered all around, but he probably wasn't as upset as he should have been. However, it did worry him a bit, he still had all his art supplies in there, and those were probably his most valuable possessions in this hellhole they had the nerve to call an academy. "You aren't looking in the right places." he stated, simply enough. The avian did not need Arsenic knowing that he was fond of watercolor painting and charcoal and all these other things, but he knew he'd find out in his own time. So, he supposed there was no use in trying to hide those things. It would only be worse for him later on, anyway. Although a good portion of his things were stuffed with clothes, they were for his own good reason. He hated being anything but clean, and often changed or showered twice in a day. Of course, he could see this school schedule getting in the way of the latter, but at least he could do the former with ease. Strider wasn't that big on reading, the only books he possessed were sketchbooks, and he had a ton of them somewhere, buried deep down in his stuff.

Ah, sorry for these posts guys, I'm kind of out of it XP@dada_dragon @cutebirdy79 @carter-A light set of footsteps to his left caught Draco's attention momentarily, just for a moment, before he noticed who it was in the first few miliseconds and used the other few miliseconds to calm the troublemaker urge down.The girl from earlier, whoever the heck she was, passed the three of them without bothering to spare him a look despite having been hellbent on ripping his spine through his mouth just a few minutes ago... Then again, the impulse to bodyslam her was prominent but he managed to supress it as well.The tips of his mouth quirked up.This chick was prbably aching to brew up a fight, he could sssssmell it in the air. And judging by the arrogant, slightly stiff posture, she was truly eager to show herself as fearless enough to walk by, ignoring him.Had she figured out ignoring the bully angered him?Sticking the very tip of his forked tongue out, he smirked.Ah, smart girl...After a second of looking, he retracted his gaze back to PMS Queen in front of him, waiting for an answer. Honestly, choosing between a human emotional rollercoaster and a fist-fighting teddy bear wasn't all that hard. The bear chick was most probably gonna be just as war-raged later on, while the chance to talk to period wonderland was once in a lifetime - the girl was just interesting like that...Ignore cerberus for now, Draco decided.He'd get to fight with her later.@glazzie-Glancing up from the rucksack, Arsenic tipped his head to the side, eyes characteristically wide and curious. He frowned soon, having already figured out what the boy was speaking of."Art isn't interesting..." he mumbled, the sound resonating in their tightly confined rule. While he was sure Strider would protest fervently against that statement, his paints and pencils weren't all that much of a big deal. Neither was that one sketchbook he'd found. He hadn't even bothered to open it, resenting any kind of artwork it contained without having even thrown a gander inside.He resented the very process of painting or sketching or doodling, it made him want to rip out heads during art class and when an idiot was doodling in regular hours...His hate wasn't logical, considering he had a talent for art himself.Perhaps he didn't exactly resent the art itself, but the fact that he himself couldn't do anything like it anymore. His trembling fingers were unable to hold an artbrush, nor a pencil. The horrible scrawl of his handwriting was unreadable for a reason...He'd never be able to heal."I don't like your drawings." he stated with an indignant huff.

Ethan relaxed as they turned the corner. She hadn't so much as said a word to the guy, but he knew they had only avoided a fight because snake boy was busy talking to the other two..."It's a nice day. Why don't we go outside?" Ethan asked. "We've got some time before dinner."Aykay nodded. "Yeah, sure."Ethan gave her a worried glance. Was she really this fired up over the snake guy? He knew she had a short fuse, but he had never seen her so single-mindedly hostile. But no... It really wasn't that hard to guess was it?He was a challenge. He was dangerous. He had ticked her off. She had only fought regular humans before and she wanted to test her strength against a parahuman. To somehow prove that she was actually strong and not just because of her natural advantage of being a parahuman.Ethan knew her secret. She would never admit it, but she was extremely self-conscious and she hated it. She didn't like feeling vulnerable in any way, so any time she did, she got aggressive to cover it up.Some guy made fun of her outfit at school once. She told him he was an idiot and his mother dressed him and threw in a punch to the jaw because she felt like it, but later Ethan had found her favorite top and jeans in the trash.She fought as a sort of self-assurance kind of thing, trying to confirm that she was stronger than anyone who got in her way."I like this school." Aykay said suddenly as they walked out into the courtyard and sat on a bench.Ethan hadn't expected this. "Really?""Yeah." she answered. "It's not boring like the normal schools. The people here are different. They don't feel the need to hide who they are, and I don't just mean their ears."Ethan smiled. That was true. These people seemed pretty genuine."That guy, Aykay... The snake...""I know what you're gonna tell me to do... To stay clear of him, right?" she said, not meeting his eyes. "I can't promise you anything. He's just asking for a good fist to the face...""Aykay, he could be dangerous." he said. "He could be poisonous or...""I'M dangerous, Ethan." she growled. "Do you honestly think I care how tough he is? If he starts up again, I will not just step back and let him walk all over me..."Ethan finally lost his temper."Well maybe you /should/ care, Autumn. You know why? Because you are now in a school where there are people stronger than you." he said. "You aren't just picking on humans now.
