Le Plot:
You are a freak to the world of humans. You are part human and part animal. You're not sure how you have these abilities but you were born with it. Luckily regular humans can't see your animal like features. They seek you as a normal human but every now and then, they see glitches of them. The government is now aware of your odd animal like abilities and wants to experiment on you to figure out how you became to be. But they don't want to just experiment with you, they want to kill you. Why? Because they see you as a threat to the human society.
You've been found by the Lehigh Academy of Parahumans and they are inviting you, a fellow parahuman, to stay safely and hidden at the school. Yet some of the students sneak out of the school at time to go hang around the city to act like normal humans again. But they don't know it's a terrible mistake. Agents of the government are hidden and lurking all around the country for these parahumans and will kidnap you at any cost.

A sleek black car approached the towering academy. "Mom, do I have to" Julie whined. "You woke me up so early that i didnt have time to do my hair or get actual good clothes on." Yet she was wearing this:

A red car pulled up and stopped in front of the school. Nick groaned "Why did we have to go here again?!" Nick asked in complaint.

Avery rolled her eyes "I'm pretty sure I don't need explain this again now lets go. Avery stepped out of the car shut the door behind her. She looked up to the large school. Avery admired to design and the molding till Nick's car door slam startled her out of her thought.

Nick walked to the trunk and flung it open, revealing the tons of luggage. He faced Avery "Did you have to bring so many bags" Nick asked as he suffered to pull up his luggage.

An orange truck slowed to a stop in front of the academy. A teenage girl stepped out of the truck and stepped onto the academy sidewalk. The driver rolled down a window. "Be good, Alice" Alice's aunt said.

"I will, Victoria" Alice replied to her aunt with a smile. Alice's aunt smiled back, rolled up the window and then drove off. Alice was standing on the sidewalk with her luggage, staring up at the academy. Then she shook off her daze and walked towards the academy.

Bryce turned into the academy parking lot and parked his motorcycle. Then he stepped off his bike and unstrapped his luggage from the motorcycle. Then he began to walk towards the academy.

A red Ford Mustang drove up the stone drive to the academy where a boy of about seventeen with flaming red hair name Kale sat. His uncle, who Kale called Uncle Owen, was driving while Aunt Helen assured him he would be okay.

Kale, who was slouched down in rhe backsear and listend to the blaring Maroon 5 songs he loved so much. When they got up fo the school Helen told Kale they were there ans Kale tucked the Ipod in his bag. "Bye," he muttered, as he got out and walked up the stairs ro the school.

As Bryce was walking towards the academy, he saw a girl. 'She is cute' Bryce thought as he walked towards her. "Hey I'm Bryce" Bryce said as he held out his hand and gave the girl a smile.

Alice was about to walk into the academy when she thought better of it and dropped her luggage and ran for a tree. She climbed the tree to a middle branch and pulled out her iPod. Then she flipped through her songs and began to listen to Payphone by Maroon 5 and hum along softly.

Avery rolled her eyes helped Nick with the luggage. She held more bags in her right hand then her left and started to walked towards the school. Other students started to arrive. Avery sighed.

Nick took out his luggage and closed the trunk. He jogged quickly to Avery with his bags swinging as he walked. He heard Avery sigh "Your nervous aren't you?" Nick asked as a cold breeze blew by.

Avery made a confused face and looked at Nick "How'd you know?" Avery asked in suspicious

Nick laughed "I lived with you all my life. How could I not know" Nick joked as they started to walk up the steps.

Avery smiled and laughed too "Oh yea"

Settled comfortably on the edge of the roof, Alexin and Eytan were perhaps the only people inside and outside the academy that weren't bustling nervously and watching the downpour of new students. The dark-haired of the two was sprawled nonchalantly over the shingles, laying on his stomach and watching with a bored expression as the people below rushed inside. He looked relaxed and nonchalant, smoking a cigarette leisurely. Alexin, on the other hand, seemed to be less at ease, gaze trained on the students warily. He seemed nervous as the newbies, but not as much, since Eytan was doing a good job at keeping him distracted.
"Oh man, there are so many people with cat ears... How kinky is that?" he commented, snorting in laughter as he looked upon the many students that were spliced with felines. Seemed like there were a lot of strange parahumans this year and he couldn't help but laugh at some of them.
"They aren't tha bad, Eytan. I-I personally think it's cute." the white-haired boy replied, peeking over the edge of the building and retracting his head back immediatelly, a shudder running through his body. Alexin wasn't mortally afraid of heights, but he was frightened a bit too much than a winged parahuman should be. Then again, the raven-head wasn't going to complain - he disliked flying too, and preferred to stay on the ground, so it was rather nice that Alexin was there to keep him company.
That, and he also loved to tease the other.

"Psh, no they're not. Most of them look like brats. Brats aren't cute. Brats are bratty and I dislike them because they're rich whiners." he grumbled, standing up as the teachers also began to move towards the inside of the building, as did most of the students. "Let's hope we don't get any unfortunate roommates."

"Yeah, that wouldn't be nice." Alexin muttered, sheepishly scratching the back of his neck. Eytan extended a hand to him, which he gladly took and stood up, balancing himself on the shingles and jumping off the edge along with the blac-haired boy...

They both landed on the balcony below -- Eytan made a smooth landing while Alexin crouched down to take in the impact of the jump, knees nearly hitting the concrete.
"Tsk." Eytan clicked his tongue in annoyance, running a hand through his lock. "So many black-haired people this year..." he complained, fiddling with a strand of his dark hair and flipping it in front of his eyes, glaring at it as if it was to blame for the many people with matching hair colors.

Alexin chuckled.
"That isn't a bad thing. It means you have something in common."

"That's the point! I think it's becoming a stupid trend or something! Tsk..." he clicked his tongue and sighed, frowning at the students below, making a momentary decision. "I'm gonna dye my hair."

Rolling his eyes disbelievingly, Alexin tugged the other through an open window into Eytan's room. "Don't be ridiculous. It looks nice on you, as it does on the rest of the students."

"I don't wanna look like those people." Eytan fervently protested, voice calm, but tone filled with determination and denial.

"Okay, well then dye it pink."

"Yeah, I should. That color would be perfect for my life." Eytan agreed, snorting in laughter, exiting his room and entering the hallway where the students were still rushing around.

Avery came up to the door and held her breathe. She pushed open her door and gazed upon the lobby. The plush chairs were lined up along the wall.

Nick went up to the desk and placed his bags down on the ground.

Avery turned around and walked next to Nick awhile placing her bags next to his. She turned to the middle-aged woman at the desk.The women cleared her throat before speaking "Name please". Avery lifted her head a little more "Avery Davis" hen she turned to Nick and waited for him to say his name.

"Nick Davis" He spoke. The women started to type something on the computer in front of her "Yes, Nick and Avery Davis." She handed both Avery and Nick papers and a dorm key "The papers explain your schedule, your dorm, the school, and there should be a map in there. A remember school doesn't start till tomorrow."

They both nodded and said "Thank you" before they turned and walked away. Nick looked to Avery "I'll see you later" He said as he started to walk down the hall towards the boy's dorm.

Avery nodded to agree seeing him later and made her way into the hall towards the girl's dorms

Eden jumped out of her older brother Quill's black Mercedes and lanfed on the hard sidewalk. She waved to Quill as he pulled away. She walked along the sidewalk as she pulled out her Ipod from her black messenger bag. She started listening to Counting Stars by Onerepublic. She nodded her head and hummed as she walked up the stairs into the Academy. She went up to the desk as a lady cam up to her. "Eden Black." Eden said, as the lady rummaged infiles and eventually pulled out a pile of papers and a small envelope. "Right her is your schedule, map, and forms. And in the envelope is your dorm key. Good luck, Eden!" The lady said, as she gave Eden the papers. As Eden walked her wings fluttered from nervousness. Would the other people like her? Oh wait, that didn't matter. She was an outcast. Would there be mean teachers? Pfft - Eden cared about school as much as a bug on the sidewalk.

Where was this place anyways?

Strider walked down the way to the school he was directed towards. He'd been kicked out of the car of his older brother, mostly because he'd been asking too many questions, protesting against attending wherever this place was. He had told him it was for his own benefit. He told him that it was because he was a freak to society, and that he was safer here.

Strider didn't care in least. So, here he was, walking his way up to the school, left out to walk roughly an hour ago. He realized he could've flown his way here. But he didn't fancy flying much at all.

Sharp eyes scanned the room as he stepped in the doors. He watched several people pass, not taking too much notice to him. Good. Just as he was watching another girl walk away down a hallway and out of his line of sight, a too-cheery voice caught his attention.

"Exuse me? How may I help you?" He turned, flapping his wings out in frustration.

"I'm new. Strider." he snapped at her, The lady at the desk shot him a look of confusion, maybe towards his attitude or his name.

She cleared her throat, "I'm sorry, mister. Do you have a last name?" Oh. So it was the name that confused her. Or both? Whatever.

"No." he said plainly. He watched the people stride through the halls merrily, others glum, some mysterious, some dramatic. The lady had to get his attention again, handing him papers and a key. He skimmed over a few things before making his way to his room. Dorm number 9. Wonderful. A dorm. Well, at least he wouldn't have to deal with his brother.

Luke kept quiet the whole ride to the academy. Finally, the car came to a stop and he got out of the car along with Julie. They both went to the trunk and revealed a huge mass of luggage.

"Girls" Luke teased Julie and shook his head in disgust.

"Something wrong with all my luggage?" Julie said back with a mischievous smile on her face. Most of the luggage was hers.

"Um, yea. I cant even find mine!" Luke said and laughed as he began to search through the luggage. Finally, after a period of time, he managed find his luggage.

When the two were done getting their luggage, their mom called out to them "Have a great time, and remember to stay safe!" The black car pulled out of the school drop off area and was gone.

Julie's blonde hair came out of its messy bun due to the wind. Luke and Julie both walked into the lobby and walked up to the front desk and got there stuff from the lady. "Thank you" they both said and started to make their separate ways to their dorms.

Strider sighed as he found his dorm. Ah, yes, an unfamiliar room that he had to live in.

He'd get used to it. He was just being stubborn.

Finally throwing down the luggage he'd previously carried all the way to the school, he silently left the room, locking the door for good measure.

Keeping his wings folded neatly behind him, he traveled through the hallways, shooting glances at people, this one girl with blonde hair he remembered glaring at especially.

He had no idea what he was doing or where he was going, but he just wanted to make sure people didn't bother him. He wasn't in the mood to talk.

"I guess I will see you around" Bryce told the girl as he gave her a smile and waved good bye.Then he walked into the academy and went up to the front desk. "Bryce Walters" Bryce said in a kind tone. The desk lady handed him a few papers and his key. He thanked her and then went to his dorm. He dropped his luggage by his bed and then jumped onto the bed on his stomach and let out a sigh. 'This is going to be a long school year' Bryce thought as he closed his eyes to sleep.

Alice got tired of listening to her music so she put her iPod away and put it in her pocket. Then she jumped out of the tree and landed on the ground without faltering. Then she grabbed her luggage and walked into the school with a frustrated breath. She walked up to the front desk and stared at the lady, blankly. "Alice Grayson" Alice said, flatly. The lady handed Alice her dorm key and papers and tried to explain what the papers were but Alice ignored her and walked to her dorm. When she was in her dorm, Alice slammed the door and throw her luggage on her bed. Then she left her dorm and lightly shut the door. She pulled out her iPod and put her ear buds in but she didn't listen to any music, she just walked down the hallway with a blank expression on her face and then she went outside and took in a deep breath of fresh air. Then Alice ran back to the tree and sat under it. Letting the shade hide her from the rays of the sun. 'I'm glad no one has talked to me yet' Alice thought as she listened to some random song on her iPod.

The blonde-haired crow\teen boy was now sitting alone in some room (he had no idea where he was; he didn't care), wings folded close to his sides to keep chills from coming his way. He watched the door suspiciously as he picked at his talons, hoping not to be intruded on.

He just wasn't a social person.

Luke walked down the boy dorm hallway and found his dorm. He unlocked his dorm door using his key and walked inside, placing his luggage next to the bed.

A blonde haired boy glared at Julie as she made her way towards the girl dorm hall. Julie just gave a blank stare back. Then she found her dorm and unlocked it using her key. She put her luggage beside her bed and decided to unpack later. She walked out into the hallway and made her way back to the lobby.

Avery walked down the hall, making soft thuds on the thin carpet below her boots. The dim lighted hall was hard for Avery to see the dorm numbers. She used her cat night vision and found she was right in front of dorm #4. She place her luggage on the ground. Avery slip her papers against her elbow and her rib cage as she got a hold of her key. She turned the key and push the door open. She took a grip of her bags and walked into the newly painted dorm. It was empty except for a twin sized bed, a dresser, and a wooden desk. She place her luggage on her bed and gazed upon the empty room.

Nick made it to his dorm. For some reason the dorm was already unlocked. He shrugged and pushed open the door. Nick blankly dropped his bags and left the room while shutting the door. He pause before he could continue walking, he forgot the map. He quickly opened the door again and shuffled through the papers. Finally he found the map and stood up seeing he accidentally flung some papers around the room. 'Wops' he thought then left the dorm once again.

Alexin sighed in exasperation, trying to reason with his friend for the fourth time this day as they walked down the boys' dorm corridor. "It's ust a shortcut to the class hall. I promise we won't talk to any people."
Eytan just shook his head once more. "No."
"You're being obnoxiously stubborn again, which, may I say, is very non-nihilistic for a nihilist." said the white haired boy, shaking an accusing finger at the other, eyebrow raised pointedly.
"You're a white blob and I look like a drug dealer, of course somebody will stick their nose in our business. We have the unfortunate characteristic of being blatantly obvious." Eytan replied, taking a drag from his cigarette and blowing smoke in the other's face, which made Alexin cough lightly and frown at the other, blowing the nicotine-laced air back towards the smoker.
He sighed. "We can be unnoticeable."
At that Eytan raised an eyebrow and pointed at the white wings of Alexin's back
"Sure thing, Hulkwing." he commented bleakly, the joke sounding like a sarcastic insult, but Alexin didn't feel offended in the least. On the contrary even, the white boy smiled.
"I'll fold them. Please?" he pleaded.
Eytan groaned quietly, frowning at the ground and then throwing a glare at Alexin, which signalled his surrender.
Knowing what said glare meant, the white boy immediatelly beamed. "Thank you!"
"Alright let's go. But I'm not talking to anyone."

Going out of their way towards the class hall, the two went down the main hallway, where most of the students were passing. Upon first entrance, Alexin bumped into a black-haired girl, immediatelly smiling sheepishly and apologizing.

P.S. The black-haired girl can be whoever xD

Avery stopped gazing and starting to unpack. Each drawer of her dresser held a different clothing type. She sat on her bed and sighed. To the right of her was the papers from the desk lady and on top was a map "I guess I'll explore" Avery mumbled to herself. She got up and grabbed her map. She slowly closed the dorm door and opened the map. "Where to..." Avery said under her breathe.

She looked up and turned down to the main hall then suddenly she felt impact on her left shoulder. She lost grip of her map but quickly looked to see what she bumped into and saw a white haired boy which gave a apologizing smile. She shot one back but quietly said "Sorry". Avery steadied herself and bent down to pick up her map.

Nick looked down at the map before he made another step. The school seemed to have two floors. He looked around the map for the nearest stair-well and tried to memorize the way there. Once he did he sloppily folded his map and started to walk.

On her way to the lobby she stopped at vending machine and bought a small pack of sour patches. Then, once she was in the lobby, she sat on a plush velvet couch and began to eat her sour patches. Sunlight slipped through the windows of the academy and into the academy. A ray of light shined on Julies purple eyes, making them have that purple crystal glow. As she was eating, she looked around at the others just mingling about.

Luke began to unpack his stuff from his luggage. Finally, when he was done, he picked up his map of the school and decided to explore since school didn't start til tomorrow.

Alice opened her eyes and realized that she had fallen asleep. When she checked the song, she was listening to, it was 'Don't Wake Me Up by Chris Brown'. Alice turned the iPod off with a smile and put in her pocket. She stood up and climbed to the top of the tree and looked at the sky. 'Why couldn't I be part bird?' Alice thought as she saw a hawk soar in the sky.

Bryce woke up once he hit the floor beside his bed. "Wha?" Bryce said as he shook his head to clear his thoughts. 'Okay I was having a nightmare and I guess that made me squirm a bit in my sleep' Bryce thought as he stood up and sat on his bed. "I better go and try to make some friends or something" Bryce said to himself as he walked over to his door and left. He say so many faces, that it scared him and he decided to get some fresh air so he walked outside.

*time skip*

-Kale stomped into his room, as he put his luggage away in the cream colored vanity. He brushed his messy hair and plopped on the bed, rumpling the blankets. Pulling his Ipod out of his back pocket, and listened to Counting Stars by Onerepublic. He closed his eyes and hummed.

-Lindsay waved to the boy and went to her dorm, where she dropped off her bags and blue suitcase, and stood n the room. Studying it, she decided it wasn't too bad but could be much, much better. Instead of that drab booger colored carpet, put something like blue! And that blanket - yuck. That color's absolutley disgusting!

-Eden walked around, then finally deciding to go back to the lobby to be a loner, like always.

She sat down on a metal bench facing the main door where many students were coming in. She put her leather iacket underneath her and took out her drawing pad and colored pencils. She started to draw the Halloween scene she had been working on for a lot of time, now. The skeleton seemed to grin at her, and Eden, who had plenty of creepiness in her, thought it was her friend.

Avery pushed her hair behind her ear as she stood back up. She felt odd when that boy sheepish smiled. She stood for a second then started to walk. Avery looked at her map to find somewhere to go. She started to search for the Art room. Avery had hope she can sign up early for clubs.

Nick turned twice and walked down a long hall way to he stair-well. He pushed open the door and walked through. He paused for the moment and heard the echo of the door slamming shut behind him. Every step he took created loud echoing thuds. Nick finally made it to the top floor and pulled open the door. A weak breeze blew by and walked through the doorway. The temperature seemed to drop a little on the second floor.

Julie finished her sour patches and walked over to a nearby trash can. Then she walked back to her dorm and took her headband off, placing on the vanity since it was bothering her. She walked back into the main hall and walked to the main doors. She looked behind her before going out to see if anyone was following her and then set foot outside.

Luke looked at his map and saw that there was a 2nd floor. For some reason, seeing that there is a 2nd really interested in him. Using his map, he found the nearest stair well and walked up the stairs, feeling the air become colder and the chatter of the students become more faint.
