Although their conversation seemed to be ending shortly, he found it awfully nice to observe them. It was a rare thing, perhaps even extinct, for people to socialize on the first day. The academy was full, overcrowded even, with parahumans who had suffered greatly for being dfferent. Some had even been abused for their special abilities and attributes; others treated badly and stomped to the ground; third had even had encounters with the government - and all of this because they were superior. And hence, almost none of them were comfortable with socializing, even with those similar to them- souls so tainted they were afraid of opening up to their own kin He sighed. Humans truly did fear the unknown to the point of ultimate hostility... and so this was the result of their fear - violence, hate and more fear.Eytan was such a case - the rough life he'd had amongst humanity had turned him into a nihilist, violent to a fault and ready to do anything to feel, if only a little bit, alive.And, Alexin feared, perhaps Strider was such a case too... A crow parahuman - perhaps he'd been persecuted, hurt, rejected one too many times? Who knew...He let that slip from his mind, the change of thought having a calming effect on him.Instead, he focused on the task at hand -- getting to the science room.Realizing the people around him were less than usual, he turned around to see the other boy (Luke) still not following them."Hurry up, if you're coming!" he hollered at him, smiling and motioning for him to follow.

@xoxo5959 @jupiter_hollow @cutebirdy79 @epicthings451 @quillbunnyStrider could be classified as one of those cases. The only one he really had to rely on was his older brother- besides, he had no other family.Him and his brother were in reality, very close. Though they didn't act it. But the only reason Strider had to walk the rest of the way to the academy was because his brother was so worried to the point of getting frustrated.Strider used to be an extravert rather than solely introverted. Before he discovered the outside world, life beyond his apartment, everything was great. He should've just listened to his brother when he told him not to leave.But that was so long ago.Strider shook the thought from his mind just as he was about to bump into a wall, which soon alerted him that he needed to pay more attention. He sighed to himself, walking onward.

@glazzie @jupiter_hollow @cutebirdy79 @epicthings451 @quillbunnyNick continues to walk. He wondered if Avery was okay. He glance over to the people how were venturing to the roof with him. He knew Strider but who was the the boy who invited him to come to the roof as well. Nick looked to the white haired boy "I didn't catch your name. What is it?" he asked. Nick felt he was starting to be to open to people. Back at his old school Nick had but two other friends for those years. Avery sat on her bed and laid down. She stared blankly at the ceiling. She was bored. She then heard a couple tap on her window and she sat up. Leaves were falling from he trees as the wind blew them to her window.

Luke called to the practically white haired boy. When he caught up, he was almost out of breath. "Sorry..... I didnt quite...... catch...... your names..... back there. Im.... Luke." he said and took a few pauses in between.--Julie reached the end of the hallway and stopped cartwheeling. 'This is soooooo boring' Julie thought to herself. She decided to go outside like she was going to before she was rudely bumped by a girl at the door. Julie walked to the main doors and stepped outside. The air was crisp and the wind had dialed down. She began to walked around the campus, just taking her time.

Plus, I'll be making a new character soon so I'll have a lot to do =3 @quillbunny-Surprised, Alexin snapped his head towards Strider, who had been close to bumping into a wall. The boy seemed deep in thught, head hung and shoulders set - perhaps he was simply pondering something.Just as he was about to try and spark and conversation, Nick's voice cut him short."O-oh? Ah, I'm Alexin. And I'm guessing you're a fox and wolf parahumans. Me and Strider are avians, and so is Eytan. You'll meet him later." he explained shortly, giving a smile as they all reached the room at the very end of the last hallway."We've got to do this quick."Unlocking quickly, Alexin barrelled in first and held the door open, motioning for the others to come inside at a fast pace.

Nick walked through the door and look around at his surroundings. Avery thought for a moment and came to the conclusion of going outside. Avery got up and straighten out her clothes. Avery walked to the door an turned the door knob. She silently open the door and looked down the hall for anyone there. She slowly closed the door and started to walk down the hall.

Wonderful.As Alexin signaled for the three left to follow him quickly, Strider did his best to pick up his lazy pace, rushing after and keeping his wings glued to his back. Those usually got in the way of things, too.

@xoxo5959 @glazzie @cutebirdy79 @epicthings451 @quillbunny-Peeking out from the corner of the door, Alexin looked if there was anyone else in the hallway that could've seen them, finding none and closing the door with a relieved sigh; then he turned back to the awaiting group.The room they were in was stuffed with desks and chairs, along with a platform where a large cabinet of chemical productsloomed from the top to the bottom of the wall. Needless to say, there were many bottles and bulbs of strangely colored liqiuds stacked on the desks around them, along with lots of papers."Okay... so we need to be very very wary here. Make sure that we don't break or knock something off."As if on queue, just as he was saying that, one of his large wings smashed against a flask of acid and the glass container hurtled to the ground, smashing in a few dozen pieces."...Kind of like that." he finished, wincing lightly. He bent down, gathering the pieces of glass, but rose shortly, holding his nose."Oh that was Sal Volatile! (Ammonia)" he exclaimed, waving away the terrible scent that the acid spill emmited."Let's get out before it begins to wreak." he offered, opening one of the windows and climbing off. He made the wide jump to the roof next to the window, holding on to the ledge and waiting for the rest of the group.

@xoxo5959 @jupiter_hollow @cutebirdy79 @epicthings451 @quillbunnyHe nimbly followed Alexin up to the roof, looking up and out at the view from it. It was nice to be outside again, he supposed. Much better than being trapped in that academy. Strider let his wings free from being constrained at his back, giving them some space as he flapped them out to their full span in the open air. It was a good feeling.

"They're amazing, but maybe flying would be better than flapping?"

He whiffed up the chemical scent and quickly held his nose. He then followed Alexin to the window. Nick hesitated and jumped he with tail helping him directed him lead him to the roof ledge. He swung is legs on the roof and stood up on the roof.

Not because of a fear of heights, but more because he'd gotten into several bad situations over his ability to fly. He sat on the roof quietly, his wings still spread to their full span.

Such a response was fairly expected, truth be told, since Alexin had guessed that the boy was more of a feet-on-ground type of person, as well as a thoughts-kept-personal type.Glancing at Nick, he smiled."You've got to watch your step here, can be trippy to remain in a standing position and falling off ain't fun even if you have wings."

Luke followed the others inside and watched as Alexin knocked a bottle of ammonia over. The room started to wreak so bad it felt like nothing could live in there. Luke pinched his nose and saw Alexin jump out the window and onto the roof, holding the ledge. Luke did the same, then he got onto the roof and said softly "AIR!!!! SWEET, SWEET AIR!!!!!!"--As Julie walked around, her leopard ears picked up the sounds of movement from the roof and the scuffing of shoes on shingles. She turned and looked up at the roof. There, she spotted a white haired boy, a boy with crow wings, a boy with a black fox tail, and a boy with a grey wolf tail. 'Wait a second, that looks a bit like Luke.' Julie thought as she looked at the boy with the wolf tail. Then it came to her and she screamed "LUKE!?!?!?!?!?!"@xoxo5959 @jupiter_hollow @glazzie @cutebirdy79 @quillbuny

It was moments like this he wished he had his paintbrush. He perked up as he heard a noise, looking to the others to find out if anyone else heard. It sounded like a female voice, trying to get their attention.

On the contrary, however, the air wasn't as clean as it should have because of the smell the science room window was emmitting.Deciding to close it, Alexin moved back onto the window's ledge, extending his hand and managing to keep balance in order to push the glass down to a close.The shrill scream coming from below came as a shocker, because he'd been mortally concentrated on shutting the window. "AI!" His balance wobbled and he found himself nearly falling off, grabbing the edge of the roof at what was probably the last second, and managing to push himself up in a standing position.Scrambling towards the roof, Alexin reached it, slightly panting."Oi!" he hollered at the girl below, raising a hand to wave at her in a greeting. "You nearly got me killed there!"

Once he realized he didn't acknowledge what had happened, he felt a certain wave of guilt. So instead of going over to the rest of them, he just kind of...stayed where he was, wings spread.

"No! No! This is defiantly not Luke!" Luke yelled back and crouched down as flat as he could onto the roof so Julie couldn't see him. But he couldn't help but laugh at his response. Julie crossed her arms and put a look on her face as if to say 'Really? REALLY?!?!' She walked over to the closest two walls of the school and wall jumped (yes, i know, she's a girl. But hey, dis is a rp, almost anything can happen XD). She landed on the top of the roof and made her way over to Luke and his group of boys. "So, you have a posse." Julie teased Luke and look around. "Oh, and don't ask how I did that." she said when she saw Luke about to open his mouth. "Why are you guys, especially you Luke," Julie said and shot a glare at him, "up here?"@glazzie @xoxo5959 @jupiter_hollow @cutebirdy79 @quillbunny

More people.And this time, a girl.Oh /no/.In all honesty, Strider was starting to get a bit uncomfortable with all the new people. It started out as a simple duo, which quickly turned to a whole quartet of boys, now accompanied by a female. It was getting to be too much for him. He wasn't used to this.

Maybe their related? He continued to stand till she asked what they were doing up on the roof. Avery walked to a tree and sat where the sun rays won't bother her eyes. Her ear caught thuds like sounds near the building but ignored it.

"Oh sorry" Alice said, not looking at the girl as she kept walking. She saw her tree and ran full speed at it and then climbed to the top. "Let's see if I can still do this" Alice said to herself. Then she jumped from the tree and began to free fall. As she got close to the ground, she did a flip in the air and landed on her feet. "Wooooo I still got it" Alice said, happily with a laugh. Then she heard a tree break and saw a baby squirrel falling. Alice jumped out and caught in her hands. She looked back up the tree to find the source of the break as she cuddled the squirrel. Then she heard a "meow" and knew a cat had caused the break. Alice smirk at her idea of how to scare the cat. Then she growled up at the tree and saw a cat jump out of the tree and sprint away from it. "There you go little guy" Alice said, sweetly as she put the baby squirrel back in the tree. "You call if anymore cats come after you, okay?" Alice exclaimed with a smile. The baby squirrel winked and then scurried back up the tree. "I hope no one saw me be nice, then they might expect me to be" Alice muttered to herself. That was her worst fear. Alice pulled out her iPod and began to walk and listen to music.(My super hero moment JK JK 😋)

Feline parahumans were unpredictable, so he decided not to ask. "Nevermind..." he mumbled.The audibility of their voices seemed to have been raised a bit and he feared being heard."Oi! Keep it dowb or we'll get caught!"

He exclaim quietly. He started to hear the school doors open and close people were starting to come outside. Avery heard rustling from the trees and a cat ran by her. Her tail twitched at the sudden movement. The cat seemed scared but by what? She shrugged off the thought and grabbed a leaf beside her. ---My post have no meaning at this point o-o

Apparently the boy hadn't rralized what they were going up for or hadn't heard at all. He seemed pretty social by the looks of it... Alexin could guess he probably wouldn't have volunteered to go up if he'd known why.Looking at Nick and Strider, both of which were sitting quietly, he smiled in a sheepish manner."I'm sorry there. Didn't mean to include you guys."The duo that was making all the noise was the girl and boy that seemed to be related.Still, he preferred to act civilized and intrpduced himself first."Hey ah... I'm Alexin." he greeted the girl. "I'm guessing you're Julie. Uhm, we were trying to sneak out here quietly for some alone time so if you could-"His statement was promptly cut short as a lare, bulky figure landed on the roof next to Alexin. The white-haired boy let out a surprised shout and scrambled backwards, snapping his head towards the figure. Whoever it was seemed to have jumped from one of the balconies upstairs and had landed on their feet, crouching down to absorb the pressure of the landing.Soon after, said figure stood up, straightening to its full.looming height and fixing the tresspassers with dull black eyes and a raised eyebrow."E-eytan?" Alexin stuttered out, surprised of having his friend find him or come searching for him at all.As a response, Eytan simply gave the rest of the teenagers a once-over and then sighed.."The f*** are they doing here?" he asked in annoyance, question primarily meant for Alexin.

He was starting to freak out.A lot.The crow-parahuman didn't dare look in the way of the others, he'd probably end up throwing a fit.He hung his head, hugging his knees to his chest, trying to put distance between himself and the commotion. Jesus Christ, this was too much for him. His hands were starting to shake, even.

The guy who Alexin had stuttered as Eytan appeared to be furious of everyone's presence. Nick's mussels tighten off what to do. Leave or reason? Nick slowly stood up.Avery let go of the leaf for something had startled her. A loud thud came from the roof. She backed behind to tree and glance up to what was happening. She saw a bunch of people on the roof and so happens one was Nick. She face palmed herself. `Why is he up there?` she thought to herself. Avery looked back up after someone had swore.

"Oh snap!!!!!" Julie squealed and leaped back, practically knocking Luke over. "Um, I'm just going to go, so, uh, bye." she said and slowly scooted her way out of the group. As she scooted away, she forced a smile one her face, trying to make everything seem better.--Luke didnt even mind Julie almost knocking him over. It was only his fidly nature, however, as he knew too well Eytan wouldn't bother wasting energy on something as trivial as his friend bringing humans on the roof."T-they just wanted some time away from the chaos...?" he offered, blushing from embarassment and lowering his head in slight apology for messing up, which he was sure he'd done.And of course, by 'they' he'd meant Strider, although he had refrained from naming only him, not wanting the blame to be trsnaferred to the quiet avian. He glanced at the boy, not finding him in his usual position, but instead, saw him partially curled on the shingles. Supressing the urge to rush over and help, Alexin looked at Eytan first, giving him a pleading look, which the older boy knew meant one thing - to not be too hard on anyone and to let him help.This earned him another sigh, this time Eytan appearing more tired than anything.The black-haired boy looked up at the squealing girl, who was ever so obnoxiously trying to worm herself away despite being the primary reason of the loud noise. His expression briefly shifted to mild annoyance, before he branded her not worth talking to."Everyone out. You're loud as heck and the school now reaks of ammonia because of the science cabinet. Whoever gets caught is suspended, now scram." he droned out, as always with his calm and emotionless voice, this time narrowing his eyes at them pointedly and pointing to the window.Meanwhile, Alexin sat next to Strider, putting a hand on the boy's shoulder after a bit of pondering on what was the right thing to do.Noticing this, Eytan tilted his head to the side at the curled boy and blew a smoky sigh."He can stay if he wants." he informed Alexin, nodding towards Strider.Passing the loud girl, he mildly grimaced at her, half-glaring."Try to shut up more often."
