The golden-eyed boy turned his head slightly right before a feather was plucked from one of his wings, nothing soft about the ripping sensation.The avian made a noise bordering unhuman, something of a bird-like caw, a sharp, pained one. He flapped his wings outward at the sudden hurt, although it being considerably minor compared to some feathers he had lost unwillingly in the past. "D-Don't do that," Strider peeped out, the slight waver in his tone causing his ears to flush red in embarrassment. "At least not without warning first."

@glazzie @dada_dragon @jupiter_hollow @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 Alice awoke with the worst hangover, he head was all fuzzy, she had a headache and she felt very nauseous. Alice ran into her bathroom when she felt a wave of nausea rush over her. She puked out all her stomach contents and laid on the cold bathroom floor, that felt good on her hot skin. Alice let out a sigh and then pushed herself and stumbled to the sink. She examined herself in the mirror, taking in her tangled black hair, bloodshot eyes and her ruined make-up. "Time to clean up myself" Alice uttered to herself. Then she started the shower and grabbed a pair of clean clothes and her brush. She jerked the hair bow from her tangled hair and then stripped out of her tequila-smelling and sweat-covered clothes. Then stepped into the shower, sighing when the warm water rushed over her body. When she finished the shower, she dried her hair with a towel, changed into her clean clothes and brushed through her now tangle-free hair. Alice stepped away from the bathroom and then stepped out of her room. When she saw Eytan and Alexin with some boy she didn't know, she grimaced and then ran right past them and ran outside.

@glazzie Ah, sorry I didn't reply sooner, love. I was waiting for Dad(a) to make a post so I wouldn't have to post twice. Lazy person here.-The avian's sound came as a surprise and Arsenic's eyes widened at the sudden squawk Strider produced. While it was hilarious that plucking out a little feather would draw out any reaction whatsoever, the high-pitced sound made Arsenic burst out in an equally high-pitched giggle. His expression twisted in glee, as if he was a child. Being fourteen, the boy guessed that statement wasn't far from the truth. Still, his laughter resembled a demented little kid nonetheless.He came closer, hugging Strider from behind. His embrace was clingy, rather tight around the waist, and he also buried his head in the patch of fluff at the base of Strider's wings, words muffled by the softness."I like you." he informed the other, tone casual and light, as if declaring something entirely wonderful, not what he was sure would make the boy's blood run cold.He extended his hand to Strider's face, holding up the ripped feather."But you have to behave for me. Living together means you listening to me. I get upset easily so you have to behave."----@dada_dragon @cutebirdy79 @xoxo7979 @epicthings451-While his attentin was glued to Ethan, Alexin didn't fail to notice the figure hecticly running towards him. It was a girl, with dark hair and light eyes, and he immediatelly recognized the girl that tended to rush by on a whim without bothering to say a word. Alice.It seemed as if she hated him. Or Eytan. Or both. She never said a word, or stopped. The only occasion he'd exchanged a word with her, she'd acted hostile towards him."H-hey Alice!" she called at her, hoping that this time she would stop and greet him back. Perhaps for once he'd succeed in holding down a plausible friendship. The one he had with Eytan didn't always suffice when it came down to being emotive whatsoever... but then again, who would bother with him anyways, he wondered as Alice ran right by him, making no attempt to slow down or stop.Scratching the back of his head with a sad smile, Alexin breathed out a humorless chuckle. He'd never done anything wrong, nor had he ever insulted anyone. And still, while he wasn't bad or unmannered, that attitude made him practically invisible. Ye gods, he probably blended right in with the bleached walls of the d*mned academy! how would anyone notice the white boy, with his head hung low, hands stuffed in his pockets, and wings tucked neatly against his back.Sometimes he wished he could flare them out, both literally and metaphorically...

No worries, no worries. @cutebirdy79 @dada_dragon @epicthings451 @xoxo5959The slight sting that lingered was only amplified by the other behind him, his laughter making Strider's brows furrow in frustration. He wanted to screech at Arsenic, he wanted to throw a fit. But he didn't. Suppressing his urges was thing he did often. He flinched at the new tightening grip at his waist, moving not so much to escape it as to try to find comfort in it, which was, of course, impossible for him. Strider did not try to completely register the other's speech. He listened intently, since that was the only thing he could do, but he did not fully pay attention to his words. Until a few caught him and brought him back.Living...together? No. No, no, no. He didn't think about that possibility. That couldn't be true. Fate would not be that unkind. But then Strider thought back again, as he did so often. He frowned. Fate /could/ be that unkind. He eyed his own feather in the hands of a stranger, someone who he was not fully comfortable with at all. It made him feel all kinds of horrible things, like fear and loathing, all at once. It felt like he was eating sand every time he swallowed."I need to shower and get ready to go meet up with somebody." Strider hurriedly changed the subject, stating a fact that he just remembered. He didn't know at all where Alexin was, but he might as well hold up his end of the agreement.

'I was in such a rush, I didn't bother to say hey back. What I'm about to do is so not me' Alice thought as she gently laid Mr. Chewy on some leaves and jumped from the tree. She ran back inside and stopped a foot in front of Alexin. "Alexin, I'm sorry for not saying Hey earlier so Hey" Alice exclaimed, awkwardly. Then she walked towards him with a smile but inside of hugging him like she was going to do, she walked around him and back to her dorm.

The wings he was wedged between were gentle and warm enough to make him not want to move. However, all of that didn't predispose him to the other's words.Simply mentioning another person to the boy made him fidgety and possessive, so, considering that, it wasn't a surprise when Strider's excuse to get away from him made the reptilian parahuman frown harshly."Who?" he ground out, young face twisting into a glare that was too deep and psychopathic to belong to a fourteen year old. Nevertheless, it did."We just met, why would you want to leave?" he asked, tugging at Strider's waist and pressing his forehead against one shoulderblade, as if he was trying to cause the other pain by putting pressure on the bone, as well as restraining himself from biting or poisoning him.-In the meanwhile, Alexin was busy staring at Alice, who had come running back before he'd even finished self-pitying. The girl's timing was precise and he smiled sheepishly at her retreating form as she ran past him.A tricky one, he mused. Yes, she was definitely strange, but for the good or bad... he couldn't decide yet. Still, he liked her attitude.

He decided to do his best to remain calm with Arsenic, even though everything about the situation made red flags pop up in Strider's mind. But maybe that was just his problem."I met someone earlier today. He's my friend." Strider said, his voice rather quiet, but on a level tone. He added, "He has wings, like me. Except they're white." Strider made sure he took notice to Arsenic's words, so he understood and had a reply set up to answer.Discomfort rushed through him as he felt pressure applied to the said bone, but he did not move, keeping himself put and allowing Arsenic to do so, seeing as Strider assumed the other in the room was frustrated with the excuse. "I don't wish to leave. I discussed meeting up with him before I even met you. I don't want him to think I've forgotten him." Strider paused, guessing this wasn't good enough. He didn't know, but he figured Arsenic would not have him be leaving any time soon. The black-winged boy did not want to know what kind of fits the other would throw if he refused to stay.Strider hadn't refused yet, but he hadn't promised to stay behind with Arsenic. It was a difficult thing to decide on, so he left it unclear, waiting for the boy behind him to respond.

In all truth, the space available was hardly enough to hold one with such a large wing span and so little defiance and an opposing force like the small but expansively angry parahuman that clung to him.Still, to said parahuman, the place looked giant comapred to the shoebox rooms he'd been held in prior to arriving in the academy. This much vacant space made him honest to god scared and he didn't want to let the boy leave -- he took up so much room and his wings resembled something of a safe haven, so Arsenic didn't even want to hear anything about abandoning him...As much as he knew he had the power to make Strider stay, he also found himself taking interest in the other winged human -- the one mentioned. White wings sounded much less gloomy and while the name was a bit ridiculous, he assumed the person, whose parents were terrible enough to name this way, was good. Otherwise a closed off little thing like his roommate wouldn't persist on meeting him.Within the few seconds that his mind raced through all these thoughts and his face switched through momentary expressions, Arsenic came to an answer to the dilemma.He unwrapped himself from the avian, patting one of his wings dismissively (and rather roughly); then moved away."I'll come with you. Go clean yourself up." he ordered, the firm tone a clear indication that speed was essential for Arsenic's mood.

Surely it couldn't be that terrible, considering he was able to fair the boy himself, alone, in a dorm. But still, the crow-human was not completely sure on how the white-haired boy would react to the choice in company. He could only wish for the best.The boy went over to his bags, unzipping one compartment and throwing out some fresh clothes for himself. He began to walk over to the door that led to the rather small bathroom, compared to the rest of the room at least, when he remembered something. Strider, for the most part, hated having his wings wet in cold, open air, and it took a long time to dry them due to the gentle process necessary. He couldn't just ruffle the delicate feathers up with a towel, since that required him to go through slight pain with all the feathers torn and bent through doing that.He had not had this problem at home. He could take as much time as he needed drying them, he wasn't going outside the apartment he lived in and he had nobody but his brother to deal with. Strider usually took his sweet time drying the wings, he was never rushed. But now it was a different story. He wasn't sure how to get around it besides deal with freezing his wings off when the cool air hit them, but there was no way he was doing that. Strider didn't realize he was standing there for probably a whole two minutes with a blank expression, doing absolutely nothing but fighting back and forth with his own mind.

"Hey, Alexin" Alice exclaimed as she passed him. Alice made it to the boy's dorm's hallway and sniffed around for Bryce. She found his dorm and knocked on the door. "Bryce" Alice uttered.Once Bryce recognized the voice as Alice, he opened his door. "What is it?" Bryce asked as he stood in his doorway."Um do you have a spare motorcycle key? You know just in case" Alice asked.Bryce was confused by the question at first. Then he grabbed his spare motorcycle key and handed it to her. "What made you want it?" Bryce asked, after Alice had taken the spare."I guess i just loved looking at it so much. I had to have a key to it" Alice replied. Then Alice told him bye and walked back down the hall to her dorm, passing Alexin again. "Hey" she said as she passed him. then she opened her dorm door, went into her dorm and shut the door. Then she set the key next to her dorm key and jumped into her bed.Bryce shut his door when Alice left and then thought about what she had said. 'So she stars at my motorcycle, when she looks out her window. Is that what she meant?' Bryce thought. he shrugged and then went to his window and watched the sky.

"She likes to get in trouble, so I'm a little worried that she's already causing problems."He sighed in frustration. Why did he have to keep an eye on her? She was old enough. "I never said I need your permission to get through." Nick responded coldly. Yet he thought of how he could get through. The snake like person was much taller than him and was probably much stronger. Nick couldn't just push him down. Nick calmly put his hands in his pocket, remaining confident. Avery lightly smiled as Julie was including her. "Um, sure." Avery quietly responded as she jogged to catch up.

Julie walked back inside the school with Luke and Avery following behind. They finally reached the girl dorm hall and walked down the silent hallway. "Um, Luke, I think you should just wait outside the girls dorm hall" Julie told Luke. "Alright" Luke responded and leaned up against the wall while Julie continued to her room. Julie found her dorm and unlocked her door. Her chucked her map onto her bed and then walked back out into the hallway. "So, now where to?" Julie asked Avery. Luke continued to wait for Julie and Avery to return from the girls dorm hall. @glazzie-Arsenic remained in the place he was, looking at Strider with arms crossed and face twisted in an expectant scowl. He tapped a foot against the floor impatiently while he observed Strider's actions or lackthereof. The other hadn't moved from his place, despite the strict instructions issued. He had expected the boy to get a move on as soon as he was released, if the uncomfortable squirming was anything to go by, but Strider seemed frozen mid-motion, back turned towards his roommate.Irritated, the poisonous parahuman crossed to the other side of the room and settled on the bed, making sure to make a maximum amount of noise - it was a rather subtle way to snap the other out of his trance. He plopped down on the creaking matress, making it groan under his substantially lesser weight.He clicked his tongue, the sharp 'tsk' resonating in the tightly enclosed space of their room, even though said sound was subtle and not all that loud -- cheap walls made for a marvellous echo, Arsenic mused to himself while he waited for Strider to get a move on.While he himself was a (rightfully) self-proclaimed genious, he hadn't yet figured out whether his roommate was just an airhead or as depressed and spacey as he ruled the other out to be.If anything, there was still time to find that out.He sighed. As for now..."Move it. Wouldn't want to be late."...getting Strider in the d*mned shower would be enough.----@dada_dragon @cutebirdy79-Another troublemaker...The though made Alexin break into an uncontrolled grin as he focused his eyes on the black avian in front. While the bulkier and physically stronger of the two rarely got into fights and tended to keep his calm and cool like the devoted nihilist he was, Alexin was familiar with Eytan's impulse to hate anyone who so much as approached them (even sometimes when it was vice versa). While it wasn't a daily occurence, Eytan did get into trouble because of the glares he so generously distrubuted. Furthermore, he always got out of the fight intact and barely injured, if at all.And still, Alexin always found himself worrying about the other. It was ridiculous, wanting to nurture his bear-like friend, but he simply couldn't help it! Eytan himself didn't mind it anyway, so he guessed it as all good.His train of though got sharply snapped when Alice rushed by, practically trampling it. He chuckled at the girl, raising a hand in greeting, since he knew she was already too far off to hear him.Zooming in on the boy he was actually talking to, Alexin nodded."I know that feeling." he smiled. "I'll help you find her. Technically Eytan's already leading us there... He's not too friendly if you haven't already guessed. Anyways, the girl's dorms aren't opposite of the boys' dorms, because apparently the academy couldn't hire a proper architect. Instead they're kind of wedged in-between the medical office and the teacher bedrooms. They tried to pass it as 'looking after the more troublesome gender' but considering what happens in the male part... everything's inconveniently placed."---@xoxo5959 Don't worry, I'm constantly out of it xD @epicthings451-The kid was actually playing tough - Draco snorted at the though.Extending his hand forward lazily, he pushed at the other's chest, leaning forward until their faces were at close proximity of each other. He had his back bent, spine forming an arch as he loomed over Nick. The small grin he held began expanding, the edges of his mouth wrinkling and stretching over his teeth until his smile had turned crooked and unholy wide.A crack... then another. His slumped shoulders were drawn backwards just as his spine began enlogating. The vertebrae stretched, dislocating, then being allocated again with a sharp crack. His entire body was slowly becoming bigger, taller, bending above Nick. He still held direct eye contact, slitted pupils dilating as his head snapped to the left, then right, spine settling under his skin.His new body, taller, stronger and more monstrous, shook in a singular tremor of adrenaline, then simmered down. With a smaller smile, Draco looked upon the boy."This is my dorm, little worm. You're in my domain... and if you refuse my rules, I will make your life . a . living . hell." he hissed out, sticking out his forked tongue in emphasis.

He put his right foot back to keep himself from falling backwards. The hair in the back of Nick's neck stood in terror. He threatened him about how he was a "little worm" and it was "his dorm". Nick was confused for a moment. His dorm? 'Great I have to share a dorm with this bozo'. Nick hesitated to make straight on eye contact with this guy, but did anyways. He knew trying to stand up toward him but that wasn't going to end up well, he so decide to keep him at ease instead of upsetting him. One little thing can set him off. 'How mature' He thought sarcastically. Nick looked away from the reptile parahuman and sighed. He took a step back to stand up straight again, also to show he gives up. "Fine, but I'm not take orders from someone I don't even know" Nick said, continuing to speak coldly.Avery walked to the girls dorm with Julie and Luke. She also heard a commotion going on in the halls but didn't want to get involved. Julie asked what to do now and Avery paused to think. She hesitated to speak of what first came to her mind "Ummm.... we could get something to eat. It's past 2 and I didn't even eat lunch." Avery suggested. Lunch. It reminded her about Nick. Nick was also hungry the last time she saw him. 'I wonder if he's still hungry.' She thought to herself.

X3-His throat emmited a low growl and Draco stepped backwards once, narrowing his body, as if he was ready to pounce, before doing just that. He threw himself at the smaller boy, sweeping him up by his clothes and slamming him bodily against the wall, gripping the fabric of his jacket to hold him there.His face came close to Nick's again, and his razor sharp rattlesnake teeth flashed maliciously. The snarl on hs face complimented his growlish voice."Don't think you're above me, little worm!" he roared out, the tone and rumble of his words echoing loudly in the hallways. "I can rip you apart limb from limb with one blow!" then he continued in a hiss-like whisper. "As well as killing you with a drop of my poison... And you THINK THAT YOU CAN TALK BACK TO ME!"He stepped back sharply, tugging Nick along with himself, still holding him in the air; then pulled him close and boosted him back against the wall, slamming him into it.

Nick suffered to grasp for air as his hand was squishing his lungs to the wall. He hiss hissed something to him but Nick was to worried he was going to die like this. He finally was able to breathe till a short second passed till he was slammed into the wall again. Nick's tail flicked around as Nick tried to escape the snake's grip. Avery's ear flinched as something loud echoed through the halls. She started to feel suspicious of the commotion she heard. Avery started to walk down the hall towards the noise. She hesitated each step as the knot in her stomach became tighter. She wasn't sure if Luke and Julie were following behind but Avery kept walking.

In the passenger seat there was a very nervous teenager staring at the school and thinking he should try to convince the driver to take him back home, maybe he could fake being sick or something. "Well, we're here." His thought was cut short by the drivers speech. "We're late..." He responded, voice hushed against the silence of the car. "Sam, You have to go to school." Sam sighed softly, muttering an "I know..." before actually getting out of the car. Walking slowly up to the school he looked around, a mix of nervousness and excitement ran through his veins. "I should've stayed home," He mumbles to himself, tail swishing lightly back and forth as he walked, making his way up a set of stairs that he didn't know where they led.

With a flick of his hand he sent Nick on the floor, not bothering to make any other advances and just letting him lay there.He passed him on his way to their dorm and half-heartedly kicked his shoulder, letting out a hiss."Pathetic." he mumbled, eyebrow raised in amusement. Circling around the fallen boy, he entered their shared room, slamming the door after himself.

The sound of the dorm door slam echoed through the halls. Avery flinched again at another sudden sound. She dared to look around the corner to see Nick on the floor. Nick put his hand to his chest to ease the pain the intimating parahuman left behind. Still catching his breathe, his caught a glimpse of Avery around the corner.Avery couldn't believe what she was looking at. Nick was on the floor, breathing heavily. She quietly ran to him and kneeled down next to him. "What happened?" Avery whispered.Nick looked down to the floor. Should he tell his sister about his jerk of a room mate or will that set him off again? "Nothing. Just forget about it." Nick muttered. He suffered to stand but managed anyway.Avery stood back and watch her brother struggle. She knew something was wrong, something he was trying to hide "Your not telling me everything" Avery said a bit annoyed"Just forget it." Nick repeated louder.

Luke walked down the hall and came upon the boy that Avery was concerned about. "Did a tough dude get to you?" Luke asked.Julie started to make her way to the cafeteria when she realized that the school lunches had been destroyed by the explosion in the science room. 'Dang it!!!' Julie thought and then made her way to the vending machine in the lobby near the front doors. She scanned over the various snacks, looking for anything that could serve as a lunch. @xoxo5959 @epicthings451 @carter @dada_dragon @glazzie-After messing up his 'roomie's luggage properly, the entirety of his bag's contents thrown around the room, Draco calmly exited, pasing Nick with a quiet hiss-like snicker, then strolling down the hallway, but not before sticking his forked tongue out at the pretty girl by his side.Another boy came to Nick's aid as well, it seemed, so Draco happened to catch him as he was exiting the boy's dorm. He made a sharp left swipe and slammed his outstretched arm against Luke's chest, aiming to at least knock some air out of his lungs.He had to establish himself as the bully, so he spared no time.Craning his neck at a spine-breaking degree, vertebrae creaking threateningly, and flashed a smile at Nick."G'luck with the bruises, wormy boy!" he threw at the other, letting out a sceaming laugh, that turned maniacal as he rounded up the corner. In a second, he shut his mouth as he noticed another girl nearby.He sauntered over, walking by and 'ever so accidentally' stepping ight over her feet. He whipped his head around creepily, flashing her a too-wide-to-be-possible smile and widened his eyes to dement the already frightening expression further."Sorry." he sung, scurrying off with a 'woop'.Just as he rushed down the hallway, a smaller, noticceably younger boy made it up the last step of the stairs, coming out on the hallway and paying next to no attention. Instead of stopping, Draco grinned, picking up speed and slamming right into the poor thing.

'Stay strong' Alice told herself as she grabbed her iPod and began to listen to her music. Eventually she got bored with that and took her headphones out and put her iPod down. Then she stared at the key for a bit. "Ugh I can't take it." Alice uttered as she jumped out of her bed and grabbed the key. "But I can't" Alice murmured as she put the key back but then grabbed it again. "Just one little ride" Alice exclaimed as she stepped out of her dorm. Then she ran down the hall and towards the main doors. When she saw a dog parahuman being bullied by a snake parahuman and she slowed down and calmly walked towards the doors.

Bright blue eyes wild with surprise as he let out a whimper, shrinking back away from the other. Soon Sam realized what was happening and looked up at Draco with a slightly forced smile on his face as he made his voice to sound like he hadn't just been scared. "Who're you?" Noticing the others grin he sniffed at the air around the other, the action seeming strange but normal to himself. "Your a snake...?" He gave a lightly confused look, head tilting to the side and his lightly folded ears flopping in the same direction. The K9 was generally surprised at someone else being like him, Sam had been told he wasn't alone but he'd never really believed it until now.

@epicthings451 @carter @cutebirdy79 @jupiter_hollow @dada_dragon Avery shot a sharp look to Draco and made a low growl. She flinched again at the loud slam of Luke's impact to the wall. The way that parahuman acts was irritating and shallow. Only a jerk like his can sink that low. Avery looked to Luke then back to Nick. Both in some sort of pain. Nick started to get frustrated at Draco. He brushed off the thought for now, even though he will have to come in contact with him again. Avery waved her tail around as she thought of what to do. She never came to a situation where someone was slammed into a wall. A thought then came to mind, but not for helping. The aftermath of the snake parahuman into Luke was the same as Nick. Draco was probably the person that injured him. (Tbh I don't know how Avery and Nick knows Draco's name but I couldn't really keep saying Parahuman, snake, guy, etc.)

"It's fine, these boots have gotten stepped on plenty of times!" Julie replied casually. "Oh, and that was a nice smile, it would be a shame if you couldn't do that anymore." she said mockingly with a sly smile. Julie turned around, flipping her hair in a rude manner. 'And I thought that this would be a quick and easy trip to the vending machine.' Julie thought and shook her head. She quickly walked back to the hallway where she last saw Avery, Luke and Nick.--All the air in Luke was shot out after that boy came out of a dorm and slapped him across his chest. He hit the wall with so much force that his back hurt. "Great, now three parts of my body hurt." "Awww, little puppy baby got lost, did he?" he squeaked jokatively, mimicking a parody of a dog owner. He reached over, pinching both of the boy's cheeks with some force, making sure to embed his fingers there and leave a red mark."Who let you off your leash, Lassie?" he questioned, roughly ruffling his hair, then tugging on an ear.He nodded lightly, unfolding himself from Sam, then leaning backwards casually, as if his act was suddenly gone, having descipated with his desire to bother the poor thing. It was probably too cruel to pick on the adorable newbies."Rattlesnake, yeah. You a lab or something cliche like that, kid?"

He attempted to pull away from Draco's hands, rubbing his cheek and looking up at the taller male. "I am not Lassie! And I'm not lost...kinda." Whimpers as his ear is pulled, a soft growl leaving his throat. "I'm not a lab, I don't think... I'm just a dog. And My name is Sam." He breathed out a huff and lightly forced a smile. "Whats your name?" Sam's tail wagged lightly back and forth as if he hadn't just gotten slightly attacked by the older Rattlesnake. He reached up to flatten out his just-ruffled hair and scratch lightly at one of his ears, the K9 mix appearing almost like the stereotypical embodiment of the dog he was spliced with.
